Top Content Keywords of DFDC

I have been doing a bunch of behind the scenes work on the site, including more server friendly settings for the caching plugin, better security and while cleaning out old URLs from Google’s search cache using the Google Webmaster Tools, I stumbled across this:

content_keywords_prevelence

It shows the top ten keywords shown in the DFDC content and is an amazing reflection of Fry’s life.  The top ten keywords showed what all Fry’s writings focused on and it “Understanding” was first, neat!

I have also finished off the work I started in January, setting up forwards for old TYPO3 URLs that took the form of “?id=1120“, which if you click on that link, now take you to the right page (The White Sands Incident).  The URLs on the new site got a bit simpler, for example, on the old site it had /en/daniels-writings but it is now just daniels-writings.  A lot of links, especially from forum postings are never going to be updated and still go to the old “id?=” style URLs.  I added about a hundred redirects for the most important pages.

    Hello Sean,
I am new to the Daniel Fry site – but it’s a beautiful site! I have always had an interest in Daniel since I was at one of his house lectures many years ago – probably the late 50’s in El Monte or Pasadena area. I was with my mother. I was very young and she was there as a writer from some local newspaper ( we lived in El Monte) She always had a serious interest in extraterrestrials and felt she herself was on the wrong planet, ha,ha! Later I asked her what some of the meeting was about and she said he was explaining time warps, etc, As a family, we had made a few daytrips to ‘Giant Rock’ due to our fascination with flying saucers and their underground (under the rock) flying saucer library.

My inquiry here is to whether or not your archives have kept a complete list of news articles about Dan and whether my mother’s story could be found. I think she would have signed them as ‘M.C. Bays’ or ‘Miriam Bays’. Thank you, Wendy Bays
