Inside the fold is a sneak peek at the upcoming new website to be released in the next few weeks and Nginx now runs this website!
Here is a sneak peek at the new website:

The website is also now running Nginx instead of Apache, which won’t make much of a speed difference with TYPO3, but it does with it’s replacement WordPress. Nginx also scales much better with high traffic loads and is much easier to manage inside the Virtual Private Server. Here is a look at the memory usage before and after:

On the left is Apache and on the right is Nginx. Nginx is much more predictable which make it much easier to scale the memory to exactly what is needed.
Nginx plus proper optimization, caching and Cloudflare, should bring the average loading speed down under a second, compared to the two or three seconds it takes now [Test results here and here].
Just an FYI – I noticed a few things are busted on the website, for example, the audio/video players don’t work on the iPhone any more and the sliding chapter navigation on the WSI and other books has gone missing. The Multimedia page is also really really slow because the picture gallery plugin is throwing depreciation errors.
All these problems will be fixed with the new redesign and move to WordPress. Thanks! Sean.

Hi Sean,
This updated Site of yours in very interesting and more secure you say. That’s good. I still have people very interested in the ride that Daniel Fry had in the Vimana and of course the teachings of Aylan Alan the Pilot aboard the Mother ship above the Earth on that Indepencence Day 4th of July. I remember that Aylan gave Daniel Fry in some very interesting Physics lessons four years later when Daniel was on vacation in the timber country to the North West. I have found out that although Daniel Fry was given some of the secrets to Gravity and how to put a space ship or any body into that negative gravitational curve by the proper application of moving electrical charges, this secret was finally cracked by Dr Thomas Townsend Brown a Canadian Scientist back in 1952. I got all this off the Internet some …….I think it was three years ago and I am sure I sent you this.
Great job you have done here with the updated Daniel Fry Website.
Cheers,
Richard Leschen
