If there was a year in Daniel’s life that all things came to a head, 1954 was it.
It was the year he went public with his first talk at the Giant Rock Space Convention and the year that the White Sands Incident was first published. It was the year Daniel was contacted by Alan with the last of the physics and pre-history information and Daniel began work at Crescent Engineering after five years at Aerojet.
A year later, Daniel and Elma opened the Golden Age book store in Pasadena and started the Understanding organization, which Daniel would run for the next 35 years.
After 1954, there was no going back.
