I was invited to speak before the Medford and the Ashland Oregon in-service group at the beginning of the last school year.

The first motto for the year was aerospace education, and they invited me to give the opening address.

As an expert on space, that's misapprehension.

There are no such things as experts on space.

There are only relative degrees of ignorance.

This is from others because I have spent a year discussing things which I have

and which were answered. In proof, I was to build a special event of nature.

My time was my own. Nobody knew how long it should take me to build a device or a gadget. I spent a great deal of my time on the purpose of testing the concepts which I had.

In any way, I would never have said or written a single word about that encounter.

Exactly as stated. I said nothing about it to anyone.

Work under top security day after day, week after week, month after month, year after year, as I had been doing, as far as your family is concerned.

And when you come back at night, you haven't been anywhere, and you haven't done anything.

In a normal habit, it becomes a way of life that I had to keep convinced any significant number of people that this had actually occurred.

I would much rather not take any means possible of escape from such a realization of intelligence, wisdom, and goodness which we call God.

I hope for us to make room in our consciousness

for the possible existence of other race or races with a higher degree of development than we.

To people, it is totally impossible. The concept, no matter what the degree of proof, is that it don't correspond. On to any known type, that they might be extraterrestrial,

immediately there is a tremendous necessity.

We employ earthly, they're not very good explanations. Reports, so we just forget about this thing that he says.

The way he says it, so we'll bend this a little bit here, and we'll hammer this in a little, and we'll twist this part of it a little bit. Hammer this whole thing into some type of earthly mold. An explanation, simple explanation.

Preserve data with perfect.

Make a hill, actually be as large as the hill of the Acropolis. That's because he said it might be. And this was an attack upon the human ego. We fought every step on the ego.

And with death, he died, just because in the ascendant.

Some of his close friends at the close of his statement, to say beneath his breath, nevertheless. And we fought every one of them.

The center of the universe, stars,

most of which undoubtedly have planetary systems similar to ours. Outside of this galaxy, and we found to our surprise

that these were not really stars at all. They were other galaxies. There's a little more than 10 billion of these galaxies. Galaxies with 10 to 100 billion stars apiece

were all created just for our amusement. And we don't have anything else to do.

Folks, we ought to look up 10 billion galaxies

of 10 to 100 billion stars apiece just for us to look at. As the privilege of the probe reached us,

we're pointing out what was certainly going to follow

if the pictures were successful. Postulate, theory, primarily by the process of finding

or imagining a button upon the button.

And the shirt can be used to prove the button. Fix the button. Be valid because it's a part of the shirt. The fact that the button might look equally well on any number of other shirts, or that it might look even better on a dress. When the pictures began to come back from Mars,

a lot of shirts were going to be sewn on a few buttons of data. had about 400 lines in screen,

which means that nothing could be well defined.

Shown on the picture all was a button of data on which summer storm was going to set. So his shirt of Petra began to come in. The first announcement that was made, well, was made that the atmosphere on Mars

was only equal to our atmosphere at about 100,000 feet elevation. On the editions of the paper that came out, they said, well, it was equal to the density of our atmosphere at about 50 miles, which is 100% difference in elevation between these two estimates. So it's quite a jump. Even before the data was ever taken, the signal, of course, would sweep across the planet.

It went into the shadow of the planet. Just a few seconds before passing in the atmosphere on the planet.

At that time, it would be only a piece in a rather dense atmosphere. But they assumed that during those few seconds, the signal intensity would be damped or would diminish slightly according to the thickness of the atmosphere. The thicker the atmosphere, the more the signal would be absorbed, and so it would diminish a little bit in intensity. It would measure precisely the intensity of the signal and determine thereby the density of the atmosphere.

And I know a little something about reflection and emission of signals and damping of signals through various gases. Intensity did not increase in those last few seconds.

If the planet had less than no atmosphere at all, the planet itself, to a signal so close,

it would act as a reflector. And since the angle of incidence equals the angle of reflection, at that last instant, when the craft was some distance away but passing through it, the reflection would be almost a straight-line reflection and probably should have increased. If it was quite dense, it predictably would have increased the signal strength rather than decreased it. A decreased announcement was casually made that was proven, as I say, long before the measurement was ever taken. During the last close approach to the planet Mars, or prior to the close approach, its density was calculated as being somewhere between 1 and 2 centimeters of mercury. And it had risen to that figure through consecutive stages over the last 35 years. One of the things I've been somewhat interested in, and I followed the astronomers' ideas or opinions concerning the nature of the surface of Mars and the surface of Venus over the last 35 years,

and it's constantly changed, of course. Every year or two, there are different opinions than there were the year before. And in every case, the astronomer says, well, we were wrong in 1890, we were wrong in 1900, we were wrong again in 1910, we were wrong again in 1920, and in 1930, and in 1940, and in 1950, but now, by golly, we're right. Now we know the truth. In 1970, they'll say we were wrong in 1960, but now we know the truth. The density of the atmosphere on Mars

prior to the last close approach had around 1 centimeter of mercury. At the close approach, a lot of astronomers had small scopes, spent a lot of time scanning the surface. They thought, well, gee, we're going to learn a lot more about the surface of Mars now. Disappointed, because during the entire two weeks or thereabouts that Mars presented a fairly good view close to the Earth, the surface, in about two weeks,

over almost the entire surface of the planet, disappointed, they suspended dust particles

over the entire surface of the planet for several weeks. Even talcum powder would fall like rock

in an atmosphere like that, within a dust storm,

so dense that you can't see through it. The atmosphere that you need, you actually need a lot more than one cubic, so one centimeter of mercury or two centimeters of mercury. And they come in,

and we got some pictures of craters. That proves there not only is not,

but never was any significant amount of. These craters look like they're fairly sharp, the edges, a time ago. They had the slightest bearing

on the age of those craters, not a single soul, because this is the time

we assumed the whole thing began, at the beginning of the planet. Article of data, it's hard to believe that there were craters anywhere. It was long before those pictures were taken that the surface of Mars would show many large craters. Mars happens to contain hundreds of millions of rock of various sizes, various sorts, from micrometeorites to small planetoids. It's predictable that Mars would be hit quite frequently in its orbit by such things. 500 million years old, 5 million years old, 1,000 years old, 100 years old, older than might have occurred the day before yesterday.

There's just so much that we don't know. We don't know how long it's going to last. We don't know how long it's going to last. We don't know how long it's going to last before yesterday. To show anything about the age

of those craters at all. Moisture on the planet was lost. If we assume that the majority is lost, then we don't really have any very good basis for that assumption. That's to form polar caps. Anytime we do see large areas, then immediately they're active.

So then the buttons of data are interesting to many people because they're issued by authority or people who should be in positions of authority and should be more careful about what they say. There have been many just pointing out something today that those pictures don't prove anything. It was stated in advance that they couldn't prove anything. They were a marvel of electronic engineering. Wanted to be tracked for a minute from the technology that can accomplish a thing like that where it's 134 million miles away from Earth can be told a complicated series of things to do. It not only does them but it sends back a message saying yes, okay, I've done this. What's next? The understanding of the layman is that it's almost even impossible to explain to them how these things are done. One of the things that we do ourselves today, we say, well, that's ridiculous. Nobody could do that because we can't yet. Go to Mars,

we can direct it. Accuracy of throwing a basketball here in Giant Rock and putting it through a basketball hoop in New York City. Standpoint, that's the degree of accuracy required. 34 million miles away and we say, now warm up your cameras. They're warming. They're coming across the surface of Mars and shut down until you pass behind the planet and we'll start you up again and you can send us back the picture. This incredible, unbelievable marvel of electronic technology, the fact that the cameras did take the pictures and send them back were marvelous. These themselves are going to be a source of controversy for eight years until we send people up to sea for themselves. Come back, the things that they say may be just as controversial as the picture. We have some time for questions because this is what everyone wants. Everyone has a few questions of their own. We need to be able to answer them as the questions that people ask first. The gatherings

exist to get people's individual questions answered

because a few people and there's no military agencies

who are responsible to the people for disseminating information to most of the advanced

governments of the Earth. Scientific knowledge is the property of the state. The public statement

concerning always give

a couple of lectures and attend and who talk with us afterwards have talked with many of them. I've written letters to many of them.

Exactly the same three groups just like anyone else.

very large and of the most interesting

fact about the actual causes

of the development of the world to any condition they want it to be in for further use. These are all only extensions of our present technology, but they're part of ours. They can easily take us over completely

any morning between breakfast and lunch. The best in technology.

He wouldn't have to say so. Just of course their technology is far beyond us. Even imagine, much less describe, much less duplicate. Just as in the next 30 or 40 or 50 years, if we keep the civilization together, we will have powers and abilities which we can't even imagine at the present. And it wouldn't be very long before the populace as a whole would realize it. The question itself probably would not trigger off any immediate panic. This is always the controversy that's arisen. People say, why doesn't the Air Force tell the people to panic because of... And someone will say, oh, poo, that's a lot. We know and be frightened. ...that Lyndon B. Johnson made when he got the first report of the pictures of Mars. Long news item, and he was quoted verbatim.

It was apparently indicated, no evidence of life on Mars. I'm kind of relieved that they didn't show any evidence of life on Mars. Because I belong to a generation that had the pants scared off by Orson Welles in a broadcast a few years ago. And himself referred to this broadcast and referred to it as, basis, you have to accept the existence of extraterrestrial life. Proven in fact that the president himself admitted you have to make a public statement on it. But imagine that he did. Imagine for a moment that the president said, oh, we're now aware of the fact we're under observation and occasionally establish contact. Let's imagine a few of them. Some of them are a little humorous. What would happen if such an announcement were made the very next morning when you turned on your television set, camera, and you'd say, now folks, now become aware that we are under occasional observation by superior races. We try to get advice from them,

and once in a while we succeed. And just last night we were in contact with such a group, and they said that everyone on earth should eat crispy crunchies for breakfast every morning. It's funny, actually it isn't. How would we know? Perhaps crispy crunchies are the best breakfast food in the world. Perhaps everyone should eat them every day. For 24 hours, every individual that had a political,

or acts to grind, everyone who had a product to sell, everyone who had a secret ambition or aspiration would immediately become a contactee. And the entire planet would be flooded with the devious advice and sales pitching from extraterrestrial sources. And we haven't established any means of sorting out the chaff from the wheat. Contactees are ready and we have enough controversy about it. The reality of these devices would result in the immediate generation of 10,000 more contactees always. And if you can talk all day of the seller and never recover,

you could just as well throw the key in after it because it would never open its doors again. The sudden dynamics badly and hits the economy

go on one side of the economic scale or the other.

Far in either, you know, a depletion in either case,

we have a... It was balanced so sensitively now that the least bit of weight in one side or the other can cause that scale to begin tipping. Experience and a few depressions we've generated a few little weights that when it starts to tip one way you can throw a little weight in the other. A pan at a scale or level. The amount of margin that must be put up to buy stocks on the stock market. We can control the interest.

And these little weights that can be thrown to level this pan up. But if any single large weight was suddenly thrown in either scale, either pan on that scale, the entire beam would come off the balance. We covered. We couldn't throw in enough weight on the other side fast enough. The paper reported that he suffered a slight heart attack.

The stock market lost over $13 billion in value. $13 billion. $13,000 million stock market. It's a lot of money for people to lose.

That money is going to put up a real strong effort to prevent anything happening that's liable to cause that loss. Because the people will really get concerned about the states

because there was a danger to the presidency.

Nobody knew exactly what a successor would do. It's just that sensitive that kind of a lack of knowledge of uncertainty.

Several days it would have dropped into the cellar never to return. Doors and pillars. They could marshal enough to do backing for Greek stocks and so forth.

And then they dared to open the door.

We're totally subject to these races. Anytime they wish to exercise their superiority country have been consolidated

to their opinion of what would follow in the wake of such a of my grown gray hairs. Just thinking to the thought before the realization can be forced upon them.

Jobs. It's being done 69 clubs throughout the United States, but a simple fact that we are not alone.

To admit facts and face facts have known this for several thousands of years.

It's not been a deep dark secret. It's been available to anyone who wanted to look at it.

A lecture. Probability of. And he used the best scientific knowledge available today.

Mathematical basis, the most pessimistic of all of the estimates of prominent scientists today.

The most pessimistic ones and we'll add these together step by step. They come out with a conclusion that is safe to use.

There's an absolute irreducible minimum knowledge available today and logic and problems starting from the fact that we do live.

And he said, we just consider this galaxy, not the universe. There are 10 billion galaxies like this in the universe. We'll just pick one because we happen to live in it. It has 100 billion suns. 10 planets.

These are irreducible minimum figures. Galaxy or at least 100 billion from there on up a percentage of these are conditions suitable for life.

It's a controversy. Some say, well, 30%. 40%. By some say, oh, well, let's not be so optimistic. Maybe only one in a hundred to minimum estimate and say only one in a hundred air conditions.

So the such as ours, only one planet would have condition million planets.

The average biochemist today says it'll develop sooner or later on every planet that has condition plan or whether it's just pure random chance.

It's going to happen on every planet that has conditions suitable for combination of the protein molecules is going to take place sooner or later on every planet with conditions of surface.

The random. The chemical reactions are taking place every hour of the day for life at all will continue to have conditions suitable for life for at least two billions of years.

Sometime in those units going to happen. This would make 1 billion planets with life.

Some say, let's not be so optimistic. Let's say it happened on half of them or a third of them. And some say maybe only a 10th up to one 10th. We'll say it only happens on one 10th of the planets that have conditions suitable. This leaves us 100 million planets that do have life. Mr.

He said, now what percentage of that life would have exceeded our state of development suite?

So well, half probably ahead of us and half is behind us. To consider the point where we are, what do we occupy in this galaxy? Astronomically then the condensation of a tremendous dark nebula that produces. A galaxy to begin with, but stars are there first in the central portion of the condensation because the matter is densest. There is an estimated lag of about 2 million years between your parents as far as in the center. There is an estimated lag of about 2 million years between your parents as far as in the center. There is an estimated lag of about 2 million years between the appearance of stars in the center. And the next. of the galaxy and the appearance of stars on the outside. Now this is a fairly small period of time, but it requires the galaxy to condense in the first place. It's only about half or one percent of the time, but there's about a two million year lag between appearance of stars on the inside and appearance of stars on the outside.

This is where life begins in a galaxy or are we somewhat farther out?

This final question blow when we learn that we're almost on the extreme outer edge. In one of the spiral wings that are thrown out from the periphery of the galaxy. But we are definitely Johnny-come-lately's and probably one of the last planets that was formed in this entire galaxy. Forms of life in the entire galaxy. In the mathematical process we reach conclusions.

Where did it come from? The minimum, the most pessimistic, that there were in the central portion of this galaxy 10,000 planets.

We had on them intelligent life. Intelligent life began to travel in circles. In space at least two million years ago. We can accept it or we can reject it.

Scientific knowledge which man has today.

And because every bit of scientific knowledge that man has today points inescapably to this conclusion. Thousand planets in the central portion of this galaxy which contain intelligent life, which intelligent life began to travel in space at least two million years ago. Thousand planets build in two million years.

Two million years. We can arrive at a number,

a large power of ten, that it doesn't mean anything. To the mind, with a power of ten,

we helped just a little bit to conceive what 10,000 planets would do in two million years.

Nobel Wright managed to coax their first motorized box kite a few hundred feet off the ground at Kitty Hawk, North Carolina. It was barely proven possible for man to get something heavier than air off the ground. The planet in those things

suffered over a hundred passengers

in two minutes of the day, right around the clock. Extended tours through Cairo, Jordan, Jerusalem, and having taken many of these planes that can speak from personal experience to a foreign port. A day, seven days a week, 365 days a year. Unless they happen to be socked in by a fog. Then they have to make up for it later. Build in 62 years. We're not talking about 62 years or 620 years, which is ten times that, or 6,200, which is ten times that, or 62,000, which is ten times that, or 620,000, which is ten times that. We're talking about two million years. And that it would be achieved by the technology in two million years. Remembering again that we have gone from a motorized box kite that barely staggered off the ground to satellites that circumnavigate the Earth every 90 minutes. A hundred years more.

A person who lived only 50 years ago. 50 years ago couldn't have begun to even conceive or imagine the things that we take for granted today. The next 50 years? We can't say. Our imagination won't go that far.

We can't extrapolate it. Within the next 30 to 35 years, if we keep civilization together at all, mankind will have achieved every single power and every single ability of which he can now conceive. If he could conceive of it today, he would have done it by then. A hundred years ahead of us,

or 500 years, or 1,000 years, gee, that's ridiculous.

We would have done 50 years and nobody else could do it either, therefore they can't exist. Earth in our skies does not demonstrate the ability to do things that we can't understand. There would be absolute proof that it was not extraterrestrial in nature. Well of course it's going to have a technology that we don't have and of course it's going to be able to do things that we can't follow or understand. Let the thought block arise that because we can't do it,

we have used up too much time already. But I had asked,

circular path over the city of New York. The trip would involve 4,000 miles

and a 30 minute flight period would mean a cruising velocity of about 8,000 miles per hour. It was ridiculed more than anything else because people said, how ridiculous, obviously nothing can ever travel at 8,000 miles per hour. But comparatively a few years before we launched the first orbital satellite it of course travels at a minimum of 18,000 miles per hour. Then Mars broke, Venus broke, we have to travel at 27,000 miles an hour to even escape, to reach escape velocity. That velocity of 8,000 miles per hour seemed absolutely ridiculous even just a few years before we did it. But to me it had one connotation, I said, if passengers can travel, how in the dickens can they take the acceleration? In this little section that I saw that had four seating devices, mind,

and I asked about

the craft that accelerated in a field equivalent to a gravitational field. This was the thing that was pointed out. They said, your problem with acceleration is that it does not accelerate the pilot.

So this body that are in contact with the seat pushes against his back and accelerates him. But his body has inertia and tends to remain its own inertia. This is the feeling of acceleration we have if you get in your car and put it in low gear and step on the gas and suddenly you're out of the clutch doing accelerating. In acceleration this pressure is very great, it can squeeze blood from one part of the body to the other, cause blackout or in real extreme cases can cause actual crushing of the body. And so this is why we are limited in acceleration. Aft, which is accelerated in a field, or accelerated in a field which is identical with a gravitational field, and it can accelerate. And a gravitational field acts equally upon every unit of mass that is within the radius of a single atom of the pilot's body has applied to it an exactly equal thrust. It accelerates exactly equally. There's no distortion, there's no change, whatever.

Every atom of the pilot's body are equally accelerated just as when they are in free fall if it were a dense planet.

And yet the pilot would be floating in air in the mist. He would never touch any part of that craft even though it were accelerating attention. Because it's accelerating in a field which acts equally on every unit of mass. The acceleration of the available force

and the available force in their case is quite large. You're still reading sometimes

scientists saying that things accelerate at a rate that obviously knows we know life because no living thing could possibly endure that rate of acceleration. In a field, in a gravitational field, you can accelerate at 1g, at 10g, at 100g and you won't feel a particle of difference at all, they're exactly the same. And so as the motion goes, once that motion has been achieved, every one of you sitting comfortably or uncomfortably, depending on where you are in your seats right now, is at least 240 miles per second. The rotational velocity of about 1000 miles per hour

is about the Sun in its annual rotation

and this involves a little higher velocity than that. But the Sun and all of the planets are rotating with the galaxy. This entire galaxy is rotating on its center. 240 miles per second. Occupy a point in space that's 240 miles removed from the point you occupied one second before. In a field that applies equally to all mass, it still doesn't have any significance. You can't feel a thing.

... capable of taking pictures and an attempt is going to be made to get some pictures at greater distance or get pictures as it passed based publicly about any activity of Mariner 4 since it left the... At one point I should have made clear the most important picture of all could have taken, either was not taken or was not reported. Before Mariner 4... ... of Mars, I reported in Understanding Magazine one of the prime purposes, actual purposes that had never been mentioned. The last time the world was directed 3,500 miles out instead of closer to the surface. They could have just well brought it closer to the surface. But they were not interested so much in the surface of Mars as they were in the two moons, the two satellites of Mars, Phobos and Deimos. And with that trajectory, it would pass almost between them. 2,500 miles out, and it would pass quite close to the inner Earth. Now those moons are artificial. Some very competent scientists and astronomers

are completely convinced that they are artificial satellites. It would only take one picture from almost any distance to tell the story. One picture to show whether or not those are smooth spherical devices. And you could tell that from thousands of miles away. If those are natural moons, only 5 and 10 miles in diameter respectively, or isn't anywhere near enough gravitational pull to cause those to develop, those moons to become spherical. They'd just be odd-shaped chunks of rock such as the planetoids are in the asteroid belt. If they got one picture of those moons and that picture showed a sphere, the question would be answered beyond all possible arguments. If they were patient perfectly to take such a picture, whether they took it or not, nothing's ever been said. If they did take it and it showed a sphere, the answer would be so conclusive that I'm sure it would never be released. At least it would be pointed out

before people would realize that if either of those moons were spherical, they'd have to be artificial. There could be no question about it at all. Chris, thanks for your attention. A few minutes ago,

when he was describing the river that held off to anybody, this is 1955,

the government had been taken

and we had nothing but hearsay to go on. We didn't know whether to think that it was a matter of image on the part of the government to defend their stand. We worked directly out of the projectory

on the unit so that we might have tamed out,

but he knew.

If you're on the ground, you see contrails in the sky. We accurately described

what is making the contrail. Things were happening.

They maintained their position at all times.

They did not seem to have no problem at the time of the day.

Those were the same saucers.

Where they came from exactly or the colonel did not order us

any change of position. He did not broaden.

We found ourselves pushing him.

There was this man

in which he related to us his experiences at great risk to him.

He didn't know whether he was a believer

or not, but on this particular flight, during the flight, nothing took place. It can be very boring, as exciting as it may seem, a movie he had never seen before.

He came home

with the room number laid down.

He tried to read to distract himself, and he said that he couldn't get his eyes off the clock.

...and addressed him by name. ...came over him.

He said he had never in all his life felt a generation of love between mankind as he had. He said it was like a... He said he placed his life in these men's hands at that time. He said if they had told him to put a revolver to his head, and pull the trigger, that he would have done so, and he would not have been hurt. If they had told him to jump off the Empire State Building, he would have done so, and he wouldn't have been hurt. ...themselves.

Fred Kimball at the Englewood Unit of Understanding on Saturday, September 21st, 1968. Fred Kimball is one of the most unusual individuals, and I think wonderful persons, I've had the pleasure of meeting and knowing him, and hearing him speak. I know what he has said has helped me to expand my awareness. Not that I could always understand what he was saying, but at least if I was sincere in trying to understand, I could shelve it in some future time by perhaps the answer would come to me. He has traveled throughout the world searching for truth. He has been invited to speak on Joe Pine's radio show and Understand His TV Show, Art Linklater's radio show, and I'm sure you've all heard him speak on the radio show and Understand His TV Show, Art Linklater's show. He's spoken elsewhere on TV and radio. He's been invited to speak before doctors at service clubs. Many people in this field are beginning to learn that there is much to gain in helping other people

if they understand ESP and how to use it and evaluate it and use it to help people. What you hear tonight perhaps will amaze many of you if this is your first experience of this type. you'll see me out there usually I have a hard time because I circulate constantly I haven't been up in a flying saucer yet if anyone doesn't hear me in back if I get too concentrated wave your hand and I'll get down a little closer remember that you watch out for me see there's many people here in the audience and unfortunately one of my abilities has not been to remember let's see a man who has lectured here who'll come in I think you should all know him would you stand up Hal this is Hal Wilcox who has been on the program here are you going to be on a Giant Rock this time are you going to be on a Giant Rock this time or don't you know yet you'll be out there oh I didn't know I just see him walk in now I didn't know he was coming in now he says when lectures come to hear another lecture that's kind of an honor this field of extra sensory perception there's so much to talk about it. And first, I always try to explain as if you had never heard me before. Please don't

be bored. I climb a mountain, and I say, I know that mountain. Oh, look at that eagle. But I only went up one side of it. And someone else, Hal, Mr. Yates, would climb the other side of the mountain. And we could argue forever about which point. It's like trying to translate like the new life from an old lamp, or translations of various texts of the Old Testament and the New Testament. Everybody says, I have a different translation. But the main thing is, what is original translation? In other words, try to find out, what does this mean? ESP, extrasensory perception, I have been teaching it. I run two classes in San Diego. One is at a psychiatrist's home in April. And they told me, well, you can only have two classes in this home. And then you're going to have to move to another doctor, because we don't want him known as some kind of a cookie going in for this. Well, he did so well that I stayed right

there in his home for all five lessons. I had the other one in a doctor, and he's an old Navy doctor. And he didn't think he should come. But his wife did. So that was one way to take. So he didn't think he should come upstairs. So he stayed downstairs. I didn't ask if they had a bug so they could hear me or not. I didn't ask, after all. Sometimes they have to be conservative. They think you're a little bit ouch. Now, there's really nothing here. If I was to ask you, how many of you have ever had a premonition, an insight, an intuition, have heard a dream, had a dream, or heard a voice speak? How many of you have, if you ever stop? I bet at least half of you here. You see what I mean? At least half of you have had, you'll be laying asleep, and all of a sudden, something wrong with the baby. You go in and find the baby's kicked its blankets off in the middle of the night. Who called you? God, I guess. Is it? Or isn't it? Who knows?

As long as it functions, it's a mean thing. When I first started with this work, I used to think I ought to pay the people instead of them paying me. Actually, I worked for a long time for charity until I finally realized that you just cannot do all the good and be a great big hero and let everybody else not repay you. It isn't fair. I didn't think you should take money for what's supposed to be a gift from God. But how about people who breathe air? Isn't that a gift from God? You take money breathing this air? So I finally had to realize that other people had a right to do some good as well as me. this ability, I opened it up, it took me one year I tried and searched there are many ways of opening an ability Kudu Bucks, the man that had lots of publicity I knew a woman back in New York, her husband was a millionaire she studied with me quite a lot, very a lot too and he was a guest, and he says you sit down

and you look at a candle, then you visualize a picture and when you can see that picture in front of you after 15 years you can hold the picture in front of you two and a half to three minutes, then you can see fire as froze, and you can walk through the fire and you can do all of these, he says he always visualized a picture of his brother who he loved, and every time I visualized my brother I'd have an argument come up and there went my love so I never could develop that type of ability Arthur Ford who I traveled with, studied with worked as a healer with him through the spiritualist camps not Chesterfield, because if you worked in Lillydale you couldn't work in Chesterfield, they have one organization they run it like a professional wrestler's run if you work for him, you can't work for me if I want to get rid of someone, I say hey, call him over give him a match, and then get out, you work for my enemy

it's all the same organization, it's very interesting how they work it out to get rid of anybody they don't want but I did work through them as a healer, this is easy to do you lay down on a clear day in the high mountains until you can look at the sky and you see the white dots when you see these white dots, you visualize them flowing into you and out through you as an energy force well, you'll do a lot toward helping people but pretty soon your own mind will start telling you'll hear a little voice and you'll say, she wants to die she wants to die, she wants to die so you call him out and say yes, my husband's gone my mother's gone, my father's gone I want to die and yet they're sitting down for you to work as a healer what are you supposed to do? one woman says, well I'm living with my daughter I had her, she can't afford to pay my doctor's bills and have a baby, it isn't fair so I want to die yet you're the healer sitting down to work as a healer

this is why you need extra-sensory perception to tell you whether they really want to or not a woman come to me for counseling in my trailer here in Gardena and she sat there saying, I want to die, I want to die and I heard her mind say, an accident, an accident I said, what about the accident? oh, I was in a terrible accident in the freeway my car was totally demolished I was sure lucky I got all that alive then she realized, here she's telling me how she wants to die the subconscious give her a chance to see and it isn't so now most of the time the mind is much kinder it will give you a nightmare and you see yourself falling off a cliff about ready to run into something and you wake up and say, oh I'm sure glad I woke up so it knows your discouragement is only temporarily so you convince her, you tell it you don't really want to die even though you say, I wish I was dead now what's this have to do with ESP?

ESP is something that works best in counseling any time, and most any one of you here if you sat down and said, now I want to help this person but consciously I don't feel in my own mind that I have enough knowledge who does? so you're asking what? now this is a question and I don't know the answer God, the subconscious mind the spirit within you, the soul within you to offer you the right counsel or advice to help this person it's your putting yourself in the position to do, that allows it to come in it's your acknowledgement that your conscious mind does not know everything and you must have it come in to help you it's a need you don't say, oh I want to help you I want the mind looks at wants like a kid in a dining store I want a Royals Rice, I want this, I want that what don't we want? but I have a need and it's a duty of the subconscious mind to go between, between your conscious mind and the greater conscious to answer this need

and when you put in this call for this need it is inclined to come to try to help you now there's two powers in the mind and I should explain my belief and some of you will not necessarily agree or you shouldn't I think we have a constructive part within ourself that is always trying to build life, hope, happiness and we have a destructive part in other words, the body is always aging it's always dying we're always using some skin the hairs are falling out so we're dying all the time and usually we're living a little faster than we're dying for quite a while but gradually the dying catches up now this destructive mind sometimes it's called the devil's mind it's a powerful mind it's a compulsory smoker when you know it is a devil's mind it isn't best I just see where French had told the compulsory smoker's gone the cancer of the lungs they said yesterday I believe it was on the radio that nine out of ten of cancers of the lungs die

they have managed to postpone cancer death five years but not for the smokers I had one fellow come to me and he says I'm smoking pot marijuana and loading himself with cigarettes and I'd recommend against it but he said oh it isn't harmful the doctors say it isn't he called me up about a month ago and he says I'm in the hospital they're going to operate my lungs it's badly infected what can you do for me I said not much now it's a little bit too late so in a sense this destructive mind that tries to always kill it will always win but it's trying to teach itself that it's a compulsion drinking, smoking, accident prone but suppose you lose something and you say now impel me the mind that would impel you to do something destructive impel me to look where this is over and over and over this part of the mind wishes to work constructive and yet it's called the destructive mind or the devil mind or the murder mind and if you allow it or direct it

it's like saying well I took the destructive energy and I use it constructive and it wants it but it's rarely is invited so how can it help you as a masseur I am a licensed masseur I don't work at it too much too busy in this work and I like this more you say put your hands in the right place wherever the person has a need and your mind will put your hands right there so if you say put me in the right place at the right time well you walk down like I was walking down the street in Honolulu and here comes a fellow real tough man the wrestling champion of the island and he's going to push me off the sidewalk he looks like a sergeant in the army and I've been in the army I didn't feel like being pushed off just as he got to me he changed his mind he stepped out of the way and he had a real grouch on so I stepped out of the way and a coconut fell down out of one of those trees right out of Waikiki Beach it could have got me in the head or in

I don't know which one he looked at me in amazement I looked at him in amazement we didn't even speak we just went on but he sure had a grouch on he's going to make me the civilian get out of the way so I mean what is this power who knows I know it functions I use it constantly and everyone else is using it off and on suppose we take the symbolic story of a woman says well I go to church I don't believe in any of that but she'll turn around you know I don't feel she's honest I don't feel right around what she says I don't think she's telling the truth I don't feel right and then she'd turn right around and say I don't believe in any ESP just a feeling but what is a feeling? insight, intuition I had two colored men one time both were chiropractors both were musicians and one of them says if you walk I hope there's no colored people who's going to get offended he says if you walk into a room and you say to yourself I don't like that nigger here

he says I can tell it back to you I says but we have to work to develop this kind of sense of self-awareness to develop this kind of sense of self-awareness to develop this kind of sense of self-awareness to develop this kind of sensibility it took one lesson for them to turn on the extra-sensory perception was already developed that's easy but we have to work because it's been shut out to not be too sensitive to criticism and so on extra-sensory perception I'll try to run into it a little bit as I keep mixing it up and then I'll try to talk to you about it itself how you can use it basically if you ask a question if you would think that here stands the divine nature don't make it an old man with a book saying you did wrong and find fault with you but it says a part of consciousness like a parent to a child that loves a child and expects it to fall down before it learns to walk and doesn't find fault with it overly much this self here

the original translation in that book New Life from an Old Life was men my fault that I may see no fault in others not forgive us our trespasses it wasn't that way that's a later version so this self does not condemn that I can see so how can it forgive? and this self is a parent but between a parent and a conscious mind what we call now the subconscious mind our learned mind of feeling seeing and all of these different sense fields that we develop and this self will try to communicate but how can it? if you take a pendulum and I've gone to the dowsers and learn to use a pendulum this way for yes and no because you nod your head this way this way for no and then you go around the way through the northern hemisphere you go around this way for a strong yes because the way the sun goes around if you're south you do opposite if you're south of the equator and no it would be the opposite way once you set up a communication system the conscious will try to do it

but you're under a problem there's a part of our self or you could call it spirits if you wish to that always wants to please and will always tell you what you want to hear and you have to say I want the truth and the truth only don't try to please me by telling me lies this is how your accuracy is improved and it doesn't matter what way the same ability works like one woman says she was an astrologist and a good one so she went down to get a job in a tea leaf place woman says well if you can do it with astrology you can do it with tea leaves it's the same thing you try to sense into your chart what was there well she didn't agree but she did end up with a tea leaf place and had people come from all over the United States to see her so I mean it's kind of odd the way it comes out the extra-essential perception I just run one class in the United States in Hermosa Beach I think I had five ministers there at one time at one night

it was five there I had some engineers there and I had some real far out long hairs and that group was what they call a hot group the fourth lesson they did so well that they didn't come back for the fifth lesson they had learned already I'd say it takes about 15 lessons for a person to really learn normally I might up to now to write this present time in 25 years I've had one total failure there's no such thing as your own inspirational mind divine mind intuitive mind not function it's you giving it a communication system that it can use to communicate to you and there's nothing more fun than this fear but we have in our mind a fear of allowing this part of consciousness into ourselves this fear I believe maybe I'm wrong I believe that it's not fun I think it's a religious fear I think it's a part of the racial religious fear of our background it's suffer not a witch to live any woman that had the aching bones that say don't go out in the Mediterranean

there's a storm coming my arthritis is hurting burn her as a witch so that they fell into ill repute with the older women the woman that had the intuition so gradually they were always witchcraft workers it leaves an inheritance of fear another part is that our common mind doesn't always understand that this is a part of ourselves so we put two bigger wings on it as if it's too oh I couldn't do this I must diet I tried all that I tried being a monk I tried not eating meat eating peanuts and raisins and coconuts and things like that and I tried all these nutty diets what does it say eat beef to get beef eat nuts and get nutty well I don't know but I tried everything I tried doing without as I say I'm married now my ability works better than ever so figure that out but I tried all of a sudden I know that's not true man I'm an animal I know that's not so I don't think I ever want to die I don't think I should die that's not bread

I don't want to be a slave to this trêsballon but I don't think that's true I don't even see food I don't eat bread I don't drive I don't drink I don't go to the I don't want to die that's not true but I'm not a man I'm not human and I don't have any I can't have an act I can't do this Santa Monica on the pier and she told him about the accident and it happened right to the day that she prophesied. And I says, well, I've always thought about stopping in to see how good she was myself. But I says, after I learned to see the thing, that's where I had to start spending money. It actually cost me over $40,000, not figured up by me, but figured up by a minister who's a therapist down here in Harbor City. And I was figuring out what it cost. Because if I can see the disaster for you, I am obligated now to try to find out what you can do to prevent it. This is what the, there's a responsibility. Now, how do you turn this on if you want to?

By taking the position that you are the minister, you are the priest, you are the doctor, you are the lawyer, you are the person who have a right to aid and help this person. So you take the position of responsibility. Then you start calling your own divine nature to tell me what to say. Probably. Give me the right answer, the right insight, the correct answer to give. And as you keep on asking and asking, it will try its best to get into your consciousness. The other part is setting up a communication system. The communication system that I have in my book here, Hal Wilcox, who's back here, helped me in my first book, The ABCs of Mind Reading. Some of you have it. And I rewrote the book and lodged it. That is a book that I have back here from 57 pages to 132. And he was the man that worked with me on this. He went to Japan and studied to become a monk and all of this type of thing. He has his minister's degrees. He was the one that worked

with me in the first book. He's been here. He's a good psychic, too. I don't know if he's doing council work now. He's been so busy studying, he doesn't have time. But basically, to set up a communication system, if you lay flat on your back and you cry, the tears will run back this way. Then I'm helpless. If you're a little baby and you can move your head a little bit, the tears will start running down sideways. I'm partly helpless. And if you stand up, you're two, three, four years old and you start crying, the tears run down in front of you saying, I have troubles in front of me. You just watch the people. They're telling you their whole life all the time. They're telling you what the subconscious is saying. The doctors say, we know there's an itch. We know it stops when you scratch it, but we don't know why. So the first system. I figured this would be a giant class tonight, in a sense. So each symbol

tells you a story. Trouble's in front of you. I'm helpless. Suppose a man was talking and he was saying, well, I'd sure like to do that, and he's scratching his neck. It's cold. Won't call us. Low vitality. He said, I don't have the strength and vitality to do this. Suppose you come back

and the person's having trouble in their love life. They'll be going like this. Greeks kiss each other. Frenchmen kiss each other. Women do. And, should we say, if we're intimate, this represents love life. In here normally represents your baby's sickness. If it's under the nose, these are memories of the mucus running from your nose telling you that you have a health problem. You can watch how a person wipes the nose. If they wipe down in here, you know that they weren't born here. They've lived where it's colder. They all tell you a story of their life all the time. It's fascinating, really. You can sit on a bus or a street car or watch them walk down the street. You see somebody

saying, I'm helpless, and they'll be telling you all kinds of stories. The top of the ear, mama's grab little boys by ears, represents authority. The center of the ear, unfortunately, in the book, but not in the chart, they left it out, Trouble's with yourself. And down here, it usually means, if you see a man going like this, you know he's having trouble with his wife or his girlfriend, who wears ear rings. Now, all you have to do is set up the system. Your mind, it isn't a case of, will it use it? Well, can you get it to stop using it? So it will always use it. If you're around this side of the chin, well, that's the left hook to the chin. I was trying to be a prize fighter, and a fellow told me, carry your right hand higher. Well, you can't punch up here. So I dropped it down, and pretty soon as I was on the floor, the ring stood up sideways. I'm trying to climb uphill to last out the rest of the fight. So in other words, the blow you don't see,

you don't see coming. Here is being knocked back. Over here is a pretty bad blow. Each symbol that comes on in, in the ear usually means getting yacked at, or else you'll find in fault with yourself. The only thing I have found that shuts off the ESP ability of all the things is your own mind to understand how it works. I use certain invocations. Some of you have heard this before, and some of you may not. It is how you call on the mind that gets it to function. The mind, to me, is always female, and it's always personal. I was out with Addis last night. Suppose I sit down and paint something, and I look, oh, that's terrible. I rip it up and throw it away. I have told the giver, and this mind says it's about 40% more sensitive to criticism than a conscious mind to me. Well, if it's so or not, I can only tell you what it says. I have told him, what you have given me is no good. It makes it much harder. Why couldn't I say, now, that's good for me. How can I improve

it? Suppose I'm writing, and I sit down and say, well, I'm going to write. Well, for instance, now, I've had, now, this isn't something, the man's not here to defend himself, but I've had Mr. Huxley in the class, and I've had quite a few other people, and they said, this is correct what I'm teaching. So it isn't just my idea alone. And that you sit down, and every time your mind wanders, you say, I'm more interested in this than that. The mind will come up and say, oh, I ought to see that movie. Oh, I should see that movie. Oh, I should go to the public library and do some more research. Oh, I should study this style. Oh, I should have more grammar. Oh, I need more history. Oh, I need more of this. I need better English. You're not going to write. You're going to be a schoolboy. Might as well forget it. You sit down and say, I want to write. Then write. Don't think about it. Improve as you go along. Get the idea. Then hire a secretary to do like I did.

I had a college professor of English with a Ph.D. And when you see my book, you'd wonder. And I paid $20 extra above manpower's thing for it to help put it in proper English. And it still isn't. So you begin to wonder sometimes. Yes, I did. And Don Schuster had the best secretary to graduate from college to do the typing for it. He has his Ph.D. from USC, and he's a psychologist at the University of Iowa. His name is on my book, and he recommended it. I was supposed to go back there now, this month, for two classes, and they postponed it. We had a survey done two years ago, and it's going to appear in Eileen Garrett's magazine in regards to the survey on an ESP class. And they wanted to make another and because Ryan told him he'd have to have another one, Ryan of Duke University, before he'd recommend it. What happened is the people that were control subjects that took the test were not supposed to come to class. And they got so wound up about it, they came to the

class and it ruined them as control subjects. But the ESP ability is how you work with yourself. You can analyze, but not criticize. You must not find fault with yourself. You say, come on, try to tell me. Let me feel it. Let me sense it. Let me feel it. Let me feel it. Let me feel it. Whenever you concentrate on another person, every itch, oh, you've been crying, huh? About a girl? About your mother? Your back will hurt? Oh, you've got somebody who's got trouble in their back, or their body must be toxic. A woman come up to me tonight. She was kind enough to tell me about a year ago, I was reading her cat here, and the cat says something about a father who either was dead or in poor health. She just was kind enough to come up to me at the table and tell me that her father died two weeks ago. I was reading the cat here. She said no. So this part of our mind apparently seems to see far beyond anything our conscious mind

can see. I think of it as a person up in a helicopter that can see over the horizon. And to see in the future, I'll mention this, then I'll come back into symbols. I happen to use a certain set of symbols. I wouldn't recommend others use them because they fit me. There's a contrast here, and I have to go to extremes in explaining it. I look down at the Salton Sea. I like to go out there in the winter. I like the desert out here. And I look at the Salton Sea as a depression, 245 feet below sea level. I look at the Chocolate Mountain as richness. I look at the road to Brawley, which is just around sea level, above and below, as not much change. Then you form that I sit here as an earth bound mind. Now move me up about the horizon so I have two telescopes to look down. Now is this gonna be good? Then you have to form the time. In the next six weeks, in the next six months, you have to ask the time. It's

like the doubts of saying, is it going to rain today? Yes. And it doesn't rain. But it did in Honolulu. It did in South America. It did in India. It probably did in Africa. Maybe in Australia. So he got the correct answer. He didn't isolate his locality. So you have to locate what you want to know. Will this house sell? Yes. Oh, I thought it was going to sell right away. You didn't say when. Or I didn't tell you how much you may have to drop the price. So I would say, if you wanted to, suppose, for instance, you were house conscious. Well, you could have a real big mansion loaded up with furniture, real beautiful thing. One of those kinds you see up in Brentwood, Beverly Hills that cost more than most people can make in a lifetime if they're in it themselves. And then you could have an ordinary house and then have a real old shack look like a pig pen. If it's going to be good, it's going to be a big house. If it's fair, it'll be an ordinary house and

something horrible. You could use a malted milk if you have a farm background. A big, rich malted milk loaded with ice cream, richness. Then you could have just... Some skim milk, fair. Then right out of the gutter, a real filthy bad. The extremes must be, or your mind cannot give to you. You could use jewelry. You could use a big, giant, healthy. You could have an ordinary person and you'd have someone die in. Whatever symbol you give the mind, don't change it. It is best, I believe, but not necessary, to use left to right. And as you are looking, your mind will take you to whichever symbol you train your mind to see. But don't change symbols. Before you decide. Then you can say, now, I sit here as an earthbound mind, sitting here in this chair. Now, I need to see into the future. My conscious mind is limited. I can't see through the wall. But some part of me, and this is proven, you don't have to question it. All you have to do is read the women that call up and say, I thought

my husband was dead. Or things of this type. I had a dream. How can a dream mind, where does it come from? Tell us the future. It does many times. Not all accidentally. And tell me these things. I had a psychiatrist once I went down to read for in San Pedro. And I could see the hot springs. There were hot water springs out here. Above Bombay Beach, there's a hot spring. The water comes out 170 degrees. And I saw the chocolate mountains and him in the hot water. He says he was. He'd made an investment that just about wiped him out of his home. He also asked me if his home would fall into the ocean. It didn't. But he said, it's settled by the rain. And I thought he had an earthquake, but didn't bother it while I was out in Japan. But basically, it's how you ask your mind that I am limited. I cannot see. A part of this consciousness that we call what? A greater consciousness can see further than I can. It's

like the policeman would come to me and he wanted me to tell him the future. And I was afraid, frankly. I says, but that's against the law. But I says, you break the law all the time. You walk up and say, I'm going to give you a ticket. And that's a prophecy. Then you fulfill it. You're prophesying the future. And he'd laugh. So if anyone's ever had a ticket, you know how they do. Or a helicopter's telling you there's an accident down the hill. Get off the freeway. You're not there. They're prophesying the future. In a sense, they're telling you about an event that hasn't happened. So there's a part of ourself that is just down to earth to me. It's no great mystery. It does see beyond our conscious mind. It can. But we don't ask it to tell us. So why should it intrude and tell us normally? And how can it? What method have you given it to communicate? We, as a conscious mind, live in words. The subconscious lives in symbols, in pictures,

dreams, visions. Vision is a dream with no fantasy. So you have to present to it some way that it can get in normally if you want it to come at your call. The first system that I teach is just this, recognizing every itch. Your little finger represents your tempera. This one is your love finger. You put a ring on that. Emotionate. This is your spiritual finger, the longest finger, the eternal search. This is your occupation, your work finger. The thumb is made up of two beings, the inheritance of father and mother, plus the ancestors, and your own soul that has moved into this body as a guest of the body. After all, it isn't your body. You don't own it. You can't heal it. You can't grow a fingernail. The subconscious does that, the other being of this body. How many of you ever say thanks to the mind that heals and repairs a body? How many of you ever say, I appreciate your work in keeping this car in good shape for me? Like I use

one of your cars here, and never say thanks with appreciation. Just find fault because it isn't fast enough, pretty enough, big enough, or something's wrong all the time. To get the mind to work, there's certain rules, I don't like to say laws, that you work with that you would appreciate its courteously of answering you. And then you have one obligation. When it does function, you say, I appreciate your work. You say, thanks. Now, here is a tender point that I've lost people in my classes, and if anyone does come to my classes, I'd want them to understand. I think this is an ever-present part of consciousness. And this belief is subject to anyone not accepting it. I don't ask it. I just say, this is my own belief. I think that the original idea of our own being is in contact with a greater consciousness. It's a go-between. I was once, and I am, a spiritualist. I believe there's a survival. If you're not a spiritualist,

and anybody says they're not, then you have to be an atheist to believe that there's no spirit that survives. You simply are a body, and you die, you're dead. You may not believe in communication, but you have to admit, either you're a spiritualist or you're a complete atheist, that there's no such thing as survival of anything. The laws show if one man invents something, someone else picks it up somewhere else. And maybe in Europe, ask any man that's got books and inventions, and if you have an idea, someone else gets the idea. There must be a mind that flows through all human consciousness, because any time you have an inventive idea that's a genius, then somebody else will get the idea, too. Now, if you think in the sense that this divine nature, part of ourself, is always present, and I believe it's a part of a greater part of consciousness. It's a communicator. And when we invite it to communicate, it is communicated. It's a communicator. It's a communicator. It's a

given the right to try to help us to intercede. And if I turn to an external consciousness and ask it, I am not inviting the ever-present part of my conscious to function. I could ask this part to contact the greater consciousness, which I do, and I do say thanks to a greater consciousness, but I believe there's a part of us that is in contact with a greater consciousness. And this is quite different. In other words, look at the, in the book, The Impersonal Life. How is a person turned externally. So I had a, my guide—become a band of Indians

. And I believed it. So nothing wrong with it. The work was good. It was excellent. But I wouldn't believe that my own soul, my own mind, my own consciousness has the right to speak. So it has to externalize. My belief is that this is my religious ideas of childhood that taught us always to look for information merely as external. Never could our own mind and soul have a right to speak. That's what the Spirit said, and it's very important that our coming of age happens. All right. So, I believe to a to help us give me the right hunch or the right thought or the right idea or the right impression or the right understanding always i seek external well i have medals for going to church so i call them medals now but basically the idea and this is very high and as i say i don't ask you to necessarily go along with me i can just tell you what i'm here to let you what i believe that a part of our own consciousness is a part of a instrument of a greater consciousness

is itching and itching and itching and i'm trying to shut him up and he's trying to get all the attention for the evening because he hadn't had an itch or anything she was going to divorce her husband the husband didn't know it and i verified that right there in front of her and told him keep quiet her husband don't know and she doesn't want him to know but in other words take the ring off you watch women move the ring around and move it around most of the time it isn't itching it's usually some problem in their marriage that they like to twist it's a little bit disturbing about wearing it watch it when you're disturbed see if you don't catch yourself doing things all these are natural things there's nothing mysterious or occult in the sense that it's far out the elbow you bang the elbow oh that's my crazy bone you'll be sitting down with someone the elbow will be itching you'll say oh they got a real emotional problem they will an itch on the

the time in six months time she was insane took her six months to get over it they said well we don't know why she cracked up but they did know that she always had nightmares around bells and she was complaining about hearing bells they think you just got bells in your head you're crazy but they didn't figure that the bells had set her into a nightmare that she had as a child maybe i'm wrong i don't think so she anyway that was what she was hearing so the certain associations that we have you can pick up some smells uh the voice in you that speaks uh walt whitman speaks of this the voice that speaks within yourself this is not some strange being it's as if you were whispering to yourself or if i jabbed a pin into you said ow i said now did you stop and think of what range how you would say how you talk or what is spontaneous the voice that speaks to you is a spontaneous voice it comes in spontaneous and it will give you it may come just as a thought or as

We have to be secretive. So the man is much harder to read than a woman. People say, well, women are more gullible. I don't agree. Yes, if you want to lie to them, but this isn't the ability of lying. It's an ability of trying to help someone. How can I, as an instrument, help this person? What can I give them? And this communication system is in the charts that I have and in the book back there if you're interested in it. Now there's another one called Clairvoyance. Now Clairvoyance, last night I had a man, he could see a color in my eye that I've never had anyone see before. He bought my book and he'd studied and he

comes all the way down and his wife comes down from Santa Barbara to listen in on a lecture. I don't see him here tonight because he listened last night. Clairvoyance, what is it? It's, again, a question of what you see. There's two kinds to my way of seeing. There may be a lot more. Well, one kind is like Jean Dixon sees, something that has never been seen. It hasn't happened. She has a preview of the future. Many times they're right and sometimes they're not. I have people calling me up from San Francisco today. A couple of days ago they called me from various places. Well, I don't know if the earthquake is coming this Sunday. She said, Jean Dixon said it was. I don't know if she said it or not. But anyway, they're very worried about it. I said, well, I'm living here and if I thought it was coming, I wouldn't be here. And nowhere where I've been has ever been any disasters. I went through the war. No one's ever died where I've been. Ship after ship, I got off before they thought

I'd be here. So I can't see why I'd be here if it was going to have an earthquake to kill a lot of people. I mean, too, that hasn't happened yet in my life. It would be the first time. They're always the first, but I don't think so. I didn't see it anywhere for a couple of years. So clairvoyance is another kind, and this is associated pictures. I see a symbolic picture of something that has happened in my life. If I asked you to try to say, where did Fred learn to swim? Now you could say, what do you mean by swim? Do you mean dog paddling? Or would you mean as a racing swimmer? In your own mind, it would form a picture in a hurry. Well, let's see now. Would he have a river? Would he have a lake? You try to visualize a muddy river. You visualize the ocean. Pretty soon your mind would say, you don't learn things like that in the ocean. It would be very exceptional. He must have learned his speed swimming.

I did in a swimming pool. I did in a red, white, blue troop down in Panama. So, I mean, your own mind would put together, and you'd say, well, that's reason. Well, as long as your mind would reason right, that's what you want. So why find fault with your reasoning faculties if they reason right? Clairvoyance, basically, there's one way. You stir the nerves like this. Now, I was doing this for over a year or two, and I just see in the cosmic star that comes out, the new cosmic star. It comes out here, Lawndale. The N, and I don't know how she pronounces, Koning. I was back in her group back in about 1947 or 48, 6th Avenue in New York City, between 6th and 7th Avenue. And she says that Edgar Cayce said that if you rub the fingers of this finger, the occupation finger, that you kept rubbing this and concentrating, you could learn to see orange. She says, after nine months, I can now see orange. Now, I don't know how

many months. But nine months is your symbolic time of being born. So I suppose if you kept at it for nine months, you'd develop it. I can have about seven out of ten people in a class learn to see orange in five lessons. There's some of them that may never see it. I don't think you'd mind. Hal Wilcox says he didn't see them years ago, but he knew what it was. He could describe it, but he didn't see it. But he saw well enough to know the colors and describe the character in the aura. So not everyone sees it. Well, it's after a while. Well, he didn't take too many classes with me. He got so good, he went on his own. But basically, rubbing this and saying, and this is where I believe that I'm ahead of the others, baby's ego, most of us say to look at the other person's aura. I say, add my color to their color. So it's double. It's as if the artist in me painted the colors around your aura. And when it paints the colors around, it brightens it up so my conscious eyes can

see it. So that you can see it. What's the benefit of it? Well, I guess some of you heard this story before. I was on a ship called Rivers, a big Mexican. He weighed 240 pounds, a prize fighter. And I walked in the room. He had red from here to here. And I said, oh, boy, I really got a vicious character here. So I started talking about being a professional wrestler and all of that. He said, are you still in shape? I said, oh, yes. I'm exercising regularly. Well, he was a prize fighter. You know, he'd put the radio on full blast and go to sleep. No one could live with it. You say anything? Well, he's quite vicious. So he says, that radio body? And I says, it is kind of loud. So he shut it off. How could you live with it? Well, you could say that the sea and the colors saved me. I have to prove to him I was superior physically than he was. But there's always the story of the woman that went to get on the elevator. No one had an aura. She stepped back and it crashed

years ago in New York. But everyone was killed. No one had an aura. And you say, how could? Was her soul already gone? It's a question. That takes a whole different lecture. But basically, the aura carries a shadow. I was in Lillydale with a group just about equal to this with Arthur Ford, 1952. And I told him, I can have half of these people here or 60% see auras in one hour. That sounded

kind of incredible. He wanted to know how many of them would like to have me get up there and demonstrate how to see an aura. And if they wanted to try and sit there and concentrate for an hour. I stood upside of the wall. And I stood there and I kept asking my mind to throw out my radiation real strong, like you see sunbursts bursting out of your head. It was blowing like a sun, throwing out sunspots. Then I stepped away. And there were non-described operations I've had, injuries I've had, and things like this. The people that could see the aura, the image on the wall, still left. But I didn't have enough brains and intelligence to say, come back in. I got a splitting headache. I was leaving that, what, ectoplasm energy? So you see, you can make all kinds of boners in this field if you don't know how. But basically, to actually, I only send out a little tiny... tiny bit to add to the other person. I don't leave it there like I did that time. I said

leave it there. I didn't say bring it back when they get out and see him. So basically, you look just past the person's head and you'll see like heat waves, just a distortion, just the radiant heat waves like you see on a street in a hot day. And gradually, gradually as the person... I'm going to try to radium out if you watch, though the light is not the best for seeing auras, frankly. But it doesn't matter. You should have it anywhere and under any circumstances. And the person radiates out these colors. And you look past and your eye plays tricks with you. You have a distortion, as if the head is lopsided like a ghost on a TV. And you blink your eyes, it's gone. And gradually, this will fill in with color. Then finally, when you go far enough with it, every place is an itch. A person has an itch in here. You know, this is 17 years old. I see a little fleck of red in here saying, oh, you had a hard time at 17. The woman I talked to today said she sure did. She had quite a lot of

time. She was in a convent and just coming out and in love and everything went wrong. So each symbol, you'll see flecks of red and you'll see flecks of blue telling you the stories of a person's life. You'll see blue and spiritual around the mouth when they try to control their temper and try to be nice. Even on the cats, dogs, and the turtle that I had here, the same thing. You'll see these flecks of blue of instinct, intelligence, awareness, memory. And you'll see a rabbit with a little tiny dot of blue, a wild rabbit, that it doesn't do very well. And you'll see a rabbit with a little tiny dot of blue, a wild rabbit, that it doesn't do very well. And you'll see a rabbit with a little tiny dot of blue, a wild rabbit, that you don't do very, very much thinking. It's mainly instinct. And each thing, and you see these things. The physical are in, and here you have the physical memory. And if you see a person scratching here, they tell you a lot of hard work. They

take the sweat out of your eyes. And from up in here is mental. Up in here is the spiritual or psychic, the vision, the artist, the three aspects of the mind. Every one of these symbols tells you a story. Once you learn the symbols, you'll ask your mind, translate what this means. And it tries to tell you. what can you do with this you can use it to ask i was driving with a man i don't know if he'd mind if i use his name or not he was up and said i don't think he would mind if he did i wouldn't say it uh mr rand and he was having a group up in pasadena they call the searchers i was just out to their group and he had bought clark gable's former car and he says it wouldn't pull so he come down and live in temple city to take me up for the group and he had in his home he had a very nice home quite large and he said it wouldn't pull well so i asked my mind what's wrong with it and i'd see the piston come up and then an explosion so three times i saw that come up an explosion

ahead of time so he said i didn't dare to tell him a psychic told me but i went down and told the mechanic what had happened he says well they had just changed some setup between the one that he had when he went into the wall and the new setup and he had to overhaul the car and set it up the way that was done in the new ones and it didn't work so he said he overhauled it three times i think it was already twice and still wouldn't pull and so then he knew what to do so he says well he says i've seen it right while i'm riding up going to pasadena up a hill the mind can tell us things that we don't know but how can we understand what it's saying i didn't know i just knew the picture it had it's a matter of asking it and inviting it to allow it to function now this part of your mind in clairvoyance will bring you associated pictures if i was concentrating on maybe the lady out here in the front and i was looking at her looking at her

if i all of a sudden start smelling a cow i say did you live on a farm and they look at you in maize but why should i smell a cow and usually you smell a strong order the cow leaves or you may smell hay or you may smell grass or you sometimes you smell dirt and this ability to me

this uh out the forge way of describing it is the ability of the mind to know what's going on in the mind to know what's going on with the body to know where it's going to go with what it's going to do he says there's two types of work there's a psychic and there's a medium the medium talks to ghosts spirits and the psychic doesn't necessarily have mediumship abilities this type of ability works with either one that i'm teaching you can contact those this is open to question but after you do it about two years you decide you're not reading someone's mind because you have information that isn't in their mind or they're going to understand something else has never been in their mind. You'll ask somebody about the will and the people don't know if the person who's died has left the will or not. They tell you there isn't any will but we'll tell you where all the valuable papers are. There's a person here now

that I went out when the person died and he told us where all the valuable papers and every paper was where they were but there wasn't any will. So many times these things are not in a human's mind. So you can't be reading a person's mind all the time. So you begin to become wondering if your beliefs that when you die you're dead. It took me two years to get over that. I thought, well, sounds good but I think that's just their mind I'm reading. But I had to change my opinion. I believe that some part of our consciousness is aware and whether it's in some record or in them as a living conscious I think it's a living conscious. I may be wrong but that's my belief. I think there is a survival. And I didn't get this easy because I just didn't believe such things. I believe that's foolishness. I mean, you're a body. But this mind will find them. I do this. People have come to me and I have to find the people and tell them what they say.

Quite frequently the person from the other side will come in with tears and tell about what they've done and how they're disturbed and things like that. Now, if you can stay I'm going to try to have you see some of this work. We were given a I was given a certain time to try to explain this. I was suggested I'd talk a little bit more about some of the experiences I've had classes I've run I've run many classes and I don't think I'll have time to have one now before January. I charged three dollars. For years I said if you don't like it well, don't pay and don't come back. And some people didn't like me being so hostile about it so I had to stop saying that. But I don't let them pay in advance. The man that had the group in the beach he says, I've never run one like this before. He says, all the people quit their last lesson they all said they learned they didn't need to come back. He says, I'm going to make them pay in advance. I'm going to make them pay

in advance next time. So when there's a class with someone else they charge five and I get three. I refuse to go below that for anybody. If it isn't worth fifteen dollars to learn how well, it shouldn't bother. I had one woman took twelve lessons she got so good I had to ordain her minister to get out of the class. She'd just take up she'd just sit and keep getting all night. No one else had a chance. So it does come out real good. And it's a most fascinating thing but the main thing is every time like I asked a psychologist don't you ever take a class every time take any of your own advice he never sees me or associates with me. His advice to his patients was good but he went through a wife and another one he was going to get married to and I don't know if he went through the last one or not. So the mind or consciousness that tells you for someone else many times is telling you for yourself. This is why I say in the first part you don't always know

if what you're getting is just for the other person or a little bit for you if you want to use it. I'm trying to and this mind it doesn't say you have to be lovey-dovey and it mustn't kill anything. It isn't a hippie. It doesn't say you shouldn't kill germs if you have a syphilis or some other disease probably in a crude language. There's no such thing as it saying you shouldn't kill something. That's going to extreme. I don't believe in any violence. I don't believe in any killing. I don't want to fight. Don't fight gravity. Don't fight the atmosphere pressure. Don't fight germs, sickness and bugs. Uh-uh. That's not the divine nature. To be a healer calls for a lot of information. Because you're asking the creator to come and kill his own creation. God, come kill the germs you created. So it takes quite a little bit of understanding to do this. I've seen Mr. Wilcox do some marvelous work at Harmony Grove for the understanding group.

He's worked there. There's others here who have too. Now this is about my time on the lecture. And I'll try to ask questions if I can. Some of my future sight I can answer immediately and some of it sometimes I may have to pull off. Sometimes it evolves things that I'm not supposed to answer. Not necessarily from a spiritual point but sometimes you're against the law. After all, the law says you cannot tell the future. So I'll let the Mr. Yates take over.

Oh, he says how about some demonstrations? Okay, someone how about this lady? A lady bought a book down here this evening. Did you want me to look at you? She spoke to me. She bought one of my books on ESP. I'll take a look at it. After all, she said she bought a book. She ought to have some courtesy. I see some sadness in here. I have a pain way back down in here. Would you know someone that had passed away close in the family with a disturbance in here? Can you see another head? Yes. So these things show up in the aura of sadness and tears. Now I see red in the aura and I have a pain deep down in here. Meaning trouble. I looked at the aura and the aura I noticed when I was looking at it showed up very good. Yet the psychic mind when she bought the book it shows red of activity. Meaning that she has some activity but it doesn't show the blue of pre-sight or pre-psychic ability when I look at it. It shows that she's had some intuition. In other words,

quite frequently she'd pick up some but not consistent. These are things that I see. Her heart shows a good blue light so you know that she's not very she wouldn't have bought the book I don't believe but she shows quite a very good picture of the heart that's blue in the heart. This is a spiritual. The aura shows some problems troubles people that she would take care of things of this kind and there's strong desire in herself to write which means to express herself or do things. How about someone that has never been here before? It's always easy to read for someone that has been is there anyone oh boy here's a man now I said which heart is a man that is for a woman? It's a man with glasses back here. His ear shows a little bit of blue. This means to me that he's a fairly good listener that he listens fairly well. I'm studying the aura to see what's there. Like I say he doesn't tell you his whole life story immediately. You'd have to know this gentleman

quite a while before he starts to tell you his intimate life or his love life or anything else. He wouldn't have this kind of blue in his ear if he was that critical and the aura doesn't jump out. He says I like to reflect on what I'm going to say. I try to find his occupation his mind speaks as if he's worked at least four different things in his life and he has not been at one. Would that be true? Could you wiggle your hand? That's true. So you see when I try to find what does he do or what has he done it doesn't come forward. I sit here and I feel a slight disturbance in his lower back. So I know he has a disturbance in his lower back inherited from his mother. Because it's on this side of the back which means on the female side. I don't know if he knew his mother having body trouble or not. Would you know if she had body trouble or wouldn't you know the record of that? You wouldn't know. Anyway it shows up down in there. Normally when I see this

I send the person to a specialist who knows glands of the body to try to find out what is the least bit toxic in your body. Your throat shows a tiny bit of fleck of red and blue saying there's been a little bit of soreness around the throat here. So whoever did the tonsil operation wasn't the best I don't believe. It doesn't look that way. Your mind has a picture without showing me the full limit of it. It says I want to go east again. So there's a call for you to go somewhere east and I'm trying to see how far if I can get the picture to see if I can get you to come and all your mind will say all the way. So you have something as far as Chicago or further that you left back sometime of going back east. Would you ever remember? I'll try to somewhere around 24 to 28 years old what was it back east somewhere that you wanted to go to do a study? There's a call out of that time in your life. Can you place what was in your mind going about the east then?

You don't remember. Didn't you have an idea of studying somewhere back around Boston? Or New York at one time? Thank you. See the mind still has these things left undone as a call. I'm trying to ask his mind he shows a blue light up here on the top of his head so if he ever puts that matter of reflection and tries to find things his mind won't function. You say how did you know that? How did you guess that? Or like one girl says you're sure a good guesser. In other words his intuition is just back of the psychic mind a little tiny bit. I believe you had quite a religious background that's why it's a little bit back. Wasn't that true in your early childhood? I see it back in I think your mother when she was young went to church a lot it shows up in there. I didn't that it shows up in there because of some kind of philosophy of life in your mind as a child. I hear it there. Because your your throat shows blue a person that talks. You've talked like a salesman

in your life haven't you? I mean you talk. And you talk. And you have the red light of the intuitive in the upper part of your eye as if I'm fairly intuitive about what to say. And this light shows up and some of this shows back down even before you're born. I'm quite sure that the mother would have had some religious background that was fairly strong. So these are the things that I see when I look. I'm asking you what you want to do now to see what it says. And it's debating about two things. I don't quite think you look old enough to me as a conscious eye to read. You're not fully retired yet your mind is talking about making another plan of life as if you're not fully retired yet. Is that true? You're not fully retired yet. Yet your mind is working about new plans. I see all kinds of ideas in your mind as if you're making a new plan for your life. And it started up about two years ago. Now let me try a lady here. Let me see. I like

suppose I come clear in the back after trying to distance. I'm going to try the one in yellow back here. Yes, new. About all I can see is the glasses. What I do is ask your mind what does she want in life? What does she get? And how does your mind does your subconscious mind like you or hate you? What is it doing for you? Have you had any I asked if you had any access the last two two or three years it says no. So apparently the soul must like you. No, no, I mean the one way back in the glasses. Clear back. Yes, you. Is that right? You have not had any accidents? The desire in your life originally was to have four children. How many did you have? Two, so I thought. So these are the way the things that show up. Your mind is not content to sit at home. You're quite ambitious. You like to go places. You like to get out. You have the kind of mind that would like to go out to farmer's market or go places and see things and doesn't want to just

be a housewife alone. I believe you've worked some professionally. I try to see what ability you have and you like you. I don't think you develop. But you have an interior decorator's type of thing. I bet you can move all the furniture here or there or anywhere. Isn't this true? Yes. In other words, this is the ability that shows up. You had some temper in your small childhood when mother was disturbed for some reason and it shows up about nine years old. Some temper in there. You've got to learn to outgrow that as your part of life. Your throat shows a little bit of red in here so I don't think you'd be the best singer. Is that right? This is the way it shows up. Are you left in your mind something about a new automobile and I'm trying to see when you're going to get it. I'm trying to see if you just had it I wouldn't see it right now. I don't think you have the new car that you want because your mind has a picture of a new car in it thinking next year

it should be accomplished. Is that correct? Well, that's the way it shows up. I believe you can accomplish it. Keep that aim there. Tell your mind I need it. Come on, help us to get it. And it sometimes helps you or the person with you to bring these things about. Most of the time they'll answer needs but don't just say oh, I want it. I need it. You're telling the soul it is his duty to answer your need and it's your duty to say thanks for it. Let's try somewhere in about the middle here. Oh, I'll try the woman with the oh, you got a little yes, you. Let's see what you Oh, immediately your mind says I'm spiritual then you're not a newcomer at all at this, are you? This meeting which I mean you've been following the spiritual path. Your arm shows a purple light over it. But you've been following spiritual things. If you went to a spiritual church they'd probably try to tell you you're a medium right away because you have some kind of feelings or insight

according to the way the aura showed. I'm trying to see what it means to break it down so I can analyze it. And you were mocked to carry a burden in your life. Did you have to take care of someone in your life? This shows up as mocked up for your life that you'd have to take care of someone. Your ear shows if I was a phony salesman trying to sell you a new roof I wouldn't waste my time. You're very spiritual and skeptical is the way I'd put it. It's not too easy to sell you on a phony washing machine or something else. Your ear shows a lot of red that I'm not going to be told unless I examine it. Come back tomorrow. So you must have been taken sometime in your life. At least that's the way it shows up. I'm trying to figure I smell something in regards to health. Either you see I have to be careful it's against the law to go too far on this here publicly anyway. Either you or someone around you is having a blood pressure difficulty. Would you make sense

out of that? Do I have to go further? Someone's blood pressure is not just right. See I have to be careful. To me a doctor I can't say but a doctor would probably say once your candy intake or your sugar intake he'd probably tell you that you'd have something like hydro what do you call it now when you have low sugar yes hydroglycemia. This is probably what they'd tell you and they'd probably put you on a low protein for breakfast to hold the blood pressure up until you cut out the sweets and they'd be all easy I didn't see if you drank coffee or tea but normally they'd tell you to go easier on anything you recall for sugar and they'd tell you to keep the body up with a protein that's what the doctors would say for what I'd say I can't tell you myself but I'd tell you what the doctors tell me that they would tell someone that's not against the law I'm only repeating to read that in the Albers because the Albers says so and so in the paper regna and it's not
