The following lecture, entitled The Atlantean Fire Crystals as They Pertain to the Bermuda Triangle, is given by Dr. Daniel W. Frye, founder and international president of Understanding Incorporated. This time, Dr. Frye will bring us new information on the Bermuda Triangle mystery and the underlying Atlantean fire crystals. Dr. Frye has just returned from Florida, where he participated in a filming of a motion picture regarding the Bermuda Triangle. It gives me a great deal of pleasure to introduce our speaker this evening, our president, Dr. Daniel Frye, and his wife, and Alita, would you stand up, Tahalita? Where is she? Ah, we're going to have Tahalita say a few words a little later, and maybe she'll tell

us something about the meaning of her name. Very interesting. This time, Dan will give us a presentation on the Atlantean fire as they pertain to the

Bermuda Triangle, which you've been reading a lot about in the newspapers and television and radios about the happenings that have happened in that area of unknown and unreturned ships, planes. What have you that go out and without warning are completely lost and have been unable to receive any type of information whatsoever, and we'll be looking forward to hearing Dan give us a lot of information on this. So at this time, it gives me a great deal of pleasure to introduce Dr. Daniel Frye. Let's give him a big hand. Thank you.

In fact, the entire world is in one of these periods of crises that come on every so often,

and in many cases are hardly recognized by most people. They dimly recognize that something is going on. I awoke a couple of mornings ago and turned on my radio as I do the first thing I wake up and get the morning news to see if the rest of the world is still there. The first thing I heard was that the country was now on DEFCON 3. To most people I say, What in the world is that? So they smile and go on about their business. This is the abbreviation of Defense Condition 3, as most of you have seen in the newspapers. Now it means full alert for all. armed services, but particularly the nuclear branch of armed services. It means that you are two steps away from nuclear holocaust. There's Defense Condition 3, Defense Condition 2, and Defense Condition 1. So we were a couple of steps away from nuclear devastation. It wouldn't necessarily mean that there was a great deal of danger of going to Defense Condition 2 or Defense Condition 1. But there is always that probability. And when there's even the slightest probability of that, it becomes an extreme crisis because, as has

been pointed out many times in the past, a quite conservative estimate of the results

of the nuclear exchange between the major countries of the world would mean that more than 70 percent of the entire population of the world would die within the first 24 hours in such an exchange. Over 70 percent. More than two-thirds of all the people on earth would die within the first 24 hours. So when even the slight chance of a thing like this develops, it is a serious crisis. I say it's one that very few people's minds can grasp. The mind just refuses to accept what nuclear weapons are, what they can do. The mind cannot conceive of what nuclear weapons are and can do. We instead think in terms of conventional bombs, the blockbuster bombs that England used against Germany in the war. They were so proud because they weighed five tons and they would shatter a whole block. The United States, the United States, the United States, the United States, the United States, and the smallest nuclear weapon made today can shatter a good-sized city. The poorest nuclear weapon made today is more than a million times more devastating than the best weapon

made before that. More than a million times. But the mind can hardly grasp it. So it is again a question of whether or not civilization can find understanding in time

to continue its existence. I'm not a prophet of doom. I'm fairly optimistic that we might well make it. But there's always a hazard that we might not, unless we do everything that can be done at all times. I think if we do that, we will make it. And once we pass the critical point in civilization, we'll never be in danger again as a race. However, my purpose here tonight was not to preach a sermon, but simply to present for your consideration a few thoughts, a few concepts, and a number of facts, which, while

they may not add greatly to your knowledge, will, I hope, stimulate your thinking in a number of areas of philosophy. My talk tonight will incorporate two subjects which may be seen to be very far apart, both in time and in basic concept. However, both subjects have roots in antiquity, and as we will see, the one becomes the only complete and logical explanation of the other. I do have quite a number of bits of data here, because this is a subject that is so full of specific data that no one could possibly memorize it all and leave room in his memory for any more. Lecture 10 Antiquity I have taken the liberty, as I seldom do in lecturing, to speak from notes. I don't have all of the notes here tonight by accident. A great deal of the material which I have collected during the last few years has not yet been committed to memory, nor did I have it with me on this trip. The science of metaphysics has always had a great interest in and respect for the crystal, because of the many references in ancient languages to its unique properties

and its remarkable abilities. It has only been during the past few years, however, that the crystal has begun to find its rightful place in the progress of the more conventional sciences. The chemist, of course, has always had a certain special interest in the crystal, because it represents the only completely natural essentiality in the history of science. The principle of the crystal is that the law is the only essential item, the only essential element in the history of science. The principle of the crystal is that all the elements of the assembly of atoms and molecules, each one of which has settled exactly into its proper spot in a solid crystal from the saturated liquid in which the crystal grows. You see, the way a crystal develops, you have material which can dissolve in water or other liquids, and a certain amount of that solid can dissolve. Under some circumstances, if the solvent is heated, if you take water, for example, and heat it to boiling and begin to dissolve salt in it until no more will dissolve at

boiling temperature, you have a saturated solution. Then if you allow that water to cool slowly, it will become supersaturated. There won't be any salt appear yet. It's still in the water, but it is a supersaturated solution. If you now drop one little salt crystal into that solution, you can see that the solution will instantly start to form all around that salt crystal. What is happening is that the molecules are falling into a solid in a very precise pattern because they are freely suspended in the liquid and can go exactly into the right place that they are guided to by their electric and magnetic fields of the atom. It's a little bit complicated, but it is a necessary basis for understanding. The structure thus formed becomes one of great regularity and considerable beauty. As most of our precious jewels and gemstones demonstrate, most of them are natural crystals of various substances. It was not until a scientist began to apply various forms of energy and forces to the crystal that its true importance began to be realized, although it is as yet far from

being completely understood. We are just beginning to reacquire some of the ancient knowledge concerning the ability of the crystal. The crystal is a solid in which each particle is exactly in its natural place. It constitutes a matrix of precisely balanced forces and fields. Any application of force to the crystal will therefore result in the generation of energy. And conversely, any application of energy will result in the generation of a force. Our present-day science is making many practical applications of force. For example, in the crystal microphone, the waves of sound reaching the crystal impact

on the crystal and deform it very slightly and apply a force to the crystal. It immediately produces an electrical potential, an electrical energy, which is then amplified and used to operate your loudspeaker. On the other hand, if you take a crystal and apply force to it, it will immediately produce an electrical potential, an electrical energy, which is then amplified and used to operate your loudspeaker. The crystal itself will oscillate mechanically and produce force waves, which can then be used for drilling purposes, for cleaning purposes, and a number of other purposes. So if the crystal is a peculiar substance, if you apply energy to it, it produces a force. If you apply force to it, it produces an energy. The maximum amount of energy that can be generated and handled by the crystal is limited only by its size and the nature of the material of which it is composed. Because of the precise lattice-like structure of the crystal, its energy output can be controlled and directed in a very precise manner.

For example, medical science is now producing laser beams. Laser beams are simply photons, light, concentrated in a ruby crystal. That is, in the ruby crystal. In fact, there are ruby lasers that can be controlled in a very precise manner. For example, medical science is now producing laser beams, so sharply focused that they can be used to cut into and remove portions of individual human cells. To some of you, that may not sound very startling. ... that you cannot even see a human cell with a naked eye, you require very great magnification even to be able to see a human cell. If you put a human cell on a microscope slide and put alongside of it the sharpest razor blade that has ever been made, the edge of the razor blade will look like the Sierra Madre Mountains over here. That's about how smooth it will be compared to the human cell. When you can imagine a point of light at that so sharp that it can actually cut away portions of this human cell without disturbing the rest. If you tried to do it with a razor blade, it would simply mash these huge projections

on the blade. It would simply mash the whole cell to shreds. So we now can and do focus laser beams to that degree of precision, microscopic, almost ultra-microscopic precision. The scientists today are pursuing various paths of inquiry, almost feverishly sometimes.

They are engaged in the attempt to rediscover and to exploit the advanced art and science of crystallology that was lost to earth man during the last great collapse of science and civilization many thousands of years ago. There is a possibility that these questing scientists could hasten considerably the achievement of their goals. If they knew where to look, and if it were possible to look there getting a little more difficult all the time, however, in the dusty archives of our most ancient historical records, it is stated that beneath the left forepaw of the great sphinx at Giza in Egypt there is a sealed compartment in which have been stored whole volumes of the scientific records of the past. ...

I can report, however, that certain definite and repeatable deviations of the needle of the compass which I carried with me did indicate that a considerable mass of magnetic or at least magnetically permeable material was indeed buried beneath the surface of the ground in the immediate vicinity of the left forepaw of the Sphinx. From these records of the last and lost civilization which are still available, we can learn something of the tremendous powers inherent in the crystal, and in our own laboratories we are working to rediscover and to exploit some of the properties of the crystal which our ancient ancestors used so successfully. Our present laser systems are, as we have pointed out, one of the tangible results of these efforts. The output of the ruby crystal in our ruby laser system is probably quite similar to that of the Vril stick of which so much has been written. How many of you have read of the Vril stick in ancient records, except, of course, that the Vril stick employed a somewhat simpler and more compact system than any we have yet

been able to create, although with our present rapid increase in miniaturization it shouldn't be too long before we could put a ruby laser system within a device similar in size to the Sphinx. If you tour Egypt and see some of the larger monuments of the ancient kings, you will find many of them carrying a Vril stick. Someone may say, Oh, well, it's just a scepter, but if you look at it carefully, the various configurations on it, there would be no reason at all for building a scepter in that shape. You can see that it is an electromagnetic device of some sort. In the hands of the supreme ruler, who was the only person permitted to possess or to use the Vril stick, it did represent total authority, since it contained the power of life and death in the laser-like beam which it emitted. Crystals produced by present-day science are quite limited in size. They're limited because, let's say, the formation of a crystal is due to the electromagnetic fields of the atoms and molecules themselves. They attract the next atom or molecule to a certain precise point and then hold it there

until the next one has come on down. But as you get farther away from the center at which that crystal started, those forces become rapidly weaker. And eventually another random crystal will start. Instead of the original crystal growing, another one will start. You have seen many times the whole clusters of quartz crystals and so forth, the size of the crystal is dependent upon the slowness or speed with which the crystals are formed. If a hot substance is cooled quickly, a great many small crystals will be formed. If it cools very slowly, the crystals can be larger. But we don't know of any way today, or don't have the technology of building crystals or growing crystals beyond a certain very limited size. The Atlanteans had no such limitations, however. They had learned to grow crystals in previously arranged exterior electrical and magnetic fields of certain patterns that would guide the particles inward to their ordinated places. So the only process necessary was to keep adding more of the saturated solution and

continuing to grow the original crystals, so that crystals of several meters in length could fairly easily be grown. The crystal, as I say, the power which it can handle is limited only by its size, but

is proportionate to the cube of the linear dimension of the crystal. If you can make a crystal four times as big, it can handle four times four times four times as much power as the other crystals. And in our little ruby crystals, they are a couple of inches in length, and we do bounce signals off the moon. And we record the return journey after its four-over-four-hundred-thousand-mile round-trip

journey. We record the return signals. But those are the first childlike steps in the exploitation of crystal systems. The huge crystals that the Atlanteans created, they then incorporated into devices and systems which, although relatively simple compared to some of our technology, could be used to perform the functions which we have not yet learned to perform, and in some cases even to understand. Tremendous forces acting over great distances could readily be produced. When we bounce our tiny laser beams, as I said, off the moon, we are simply taking the first childlike steps in the advance of the Atlantean art. ... But in these huge systems the Atlanteans that are operating, the civilization that was Great changes over considerable distance could be created in the electrical and magnetic fields, and substantial changes could be brought about in the time and space field over rather large distances. In his manuscript Timaeus, or Theory of the Universe, and again in his short 22-page paper Critias, the Greek philosopher Plato described the history and the

culture of this long-submerged island continent, its amazing people, and some of the incredible science with which they could control even the heavens at will. He named the continent Atlantis.

As a fact, a few people know, although they've heard so much about Atlantis, you ask the average group, where did it get its name? Who named it? And even though they know that Plato did write about it in several papers, few people know that he gave it that name. But it was Plato that named it Atlantis. Not Atlantis as we now call it, but Atlantes, which is simply the plural of Atlas, the titan god of Greek mythology, who was said to stand at the western extremity of the earth, west of the islands of the Hesperides, upholding the heavens on his shoulders. Now, this is a very significant thing. I bring this out because in running down a project like this, and I got into it by accident, I was driven into this research work almost by an accident here, it is something like putting together a jigsaw puzzle, except that when you begin to put together a jigsaw puzzle, you have all of the pieces to begin with. You only have to find where they fit. In running down something like this, you first have to go all over the world to find the

pieces and then begin to put them together. But starting with the Greek philosopher Plato, who wrote about Atlantis and gave it its name, we see some fairly remarkable pieces to the puzzle. He called it Atlantis after a mythological god of the Greeks. He said that one of the Titan gods, Atlas, who was supposed to stand out in the western extremity of the earth, is known at that time upholding the heavens on his shoulders. Of course, if he got tired and shrugged his shoulders, why, dire things happened around. But I don't think that even Plato realized that the very mythology of the Titans from which he borrowed the name Atlantis was in fact the unwritten history handed down through the centuries. The story of the race of all-powerful Titans of the continent of Poisedon, who commanded forces so great that they could indeed shake the heavens at will. We cannot fail to note, however, that the western extremity of the known world of that time was about the center of what we now know as the Atlantic Ocean.

Again, the significant name that's in the Atlantis was in the Atlantic Ocean. And from which the continent of Atlantis once rose. We must also remember that Poisedon, the brother of Atlas and the god of the sea, was said to dwell in the same locality in a huge and magnificent palace beneath the surface of the sea. This is very significant. One of the gods was standing up upholding the heavens on his shoulders. The other god, who came up later, was the god of the sea, who lived in a huge and magnificent palace beneath the surface of the sea. From which he occasionally rose to wreak vengeance upon those who ignored or failed to follow

his rule. We have the two gods located in the same area out there. Whenever there is a myth that comes down through the centuries, told by whole races of people,

there's always something behind it. What was it out here in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean that produced effects so great that it was necessary to invent a whole series of gods to explain it? It was the creation which came down through century after century after century of history. In the late Edgar Cayce's book on Atlantis, mention is made of the all-powerful crystal

system. On page 86 we find the following words. That's in Cayce on Atlantis, in case you want to look it up in the book. On page 86, in Poisedia the entity dwelt among those that had charge of the Motivative Forces. Remember this. The Motivative Forces. The Motivative Forces of the great crystals which so condensed the light and the forms of activity as to guide the ships in the sea, beneath the sea, and in the air. Again on page 87 we read, in Atlantean land at the time of the development of the electrical forces that dealt with the transportation of craft from place to place, overcoming gravity itself. Overcoming gravity. overcoming gravity itself through the preparations of the crystal the terrible the mighty crystal then he added much of this later brought destruction and of course apparently some of these systems made use of energy accumulators coupled to natural energy sources and were designed to operate automatically when triggered by some specific and predetermined stimulus they required no human control or maintenance and were practically immune and impervious to time or

the conditions of their environment at least two and possibly more of these periodically operating devices are apparently still in operation and still performing their design function after some thousands of years of immersion in the atlantic ocean of course immersion in water wouldn't affect a crystal you a few thousands of years to a crystal wouldn't mean anything at all time-wise these are still

apparently in operation and performing their design function after some thousands of years of immersion in the atlantic ocean when the continent of atlantis or poisedon the atlantic ocean was created it descended into the depths it took with it not only an entire nation of people but also some of the most remarkable technology ever created on this planet because they worked with the natural laws instead of opposing one with another as we have fallen into the habit of doing they created systems that were considerably more simple than those that we work with and yet could perform functions which we have not yet done and not yet learned to duplicate and in many cases not even to understand not only was this civilization aware of the many huge spaceships which had for countless generations cruised the galaxy but it had established definite commercial relations with the galactic confederation and a sale or barter of material and supplies to those ships whose normal course brought them near to the earth had become one of the nation's most

profitable industries the transport of these materials and supplies between the earth and the spaceship did however present some problems and difficulties because of the intense resonating fields created by the propulsion systems of the huge ships and the tremendous ionization that they would produce in any atmosphere in which they entered they would not come closer than a few hundred miles to the earth and no matter how the lifting was done the gravitational field still exacted a tremendous toll of energy from the transfer operation going to pause just a minute here I've mentioned something about ionization of the atmosphere and it should be explained and I don't want to dwell too much on technology but there are a few people here and unfortunately I can see questions in people's minds which is why I sometimes have to deviate and for explanations we've had many questions about the propulsion of space vehicles and the rapid changes in direction and so forth

and some scientists have said oh if they actually reverse directions at the rate they've been observed to then there can't possibly be any living things aboard those crafts because nothing living could endure that rate of acceleration but if we assume that they create a g field and accelerate in that gravitational field we know the gravitational field acts equally upon every atom of mass within the area of the field regardless of the nature of that mass it means that every atom of the pilot's body has applied to it exactly the same force that is applied to every atom of the craft we don't have anything like that here we have engines of various kinds that apply force to wheels or to propeller blades or to jet streams and this force pushes against the ship and accelerates the ship but unfortunately it doesn't accelerate the pilot the pilot is accelerated only by thrust against those parts of his body that happens to be in contact with a seat you can experience it tonight if you start homing your car and put it in low gear and race the engine and suddenly let out the clutch well

you'll feel the seat come up and slap you in the back if you don't strip your gears or transmission that is I don't really advise you to try it but the hot rodders do all the time and they get most of their pleasure out of feeling your feet come up and slap them in the back and then accelerate them but if you are accelerating in a gravitational field you don't feel any sense of acceleration at all you can't even distinguish it if you had an astronaut and you put him in one of our space capsules and you took him up a hundred miles or any other distance above the earth and without putting him into orbit just released the capsule it would immediately begin to fall straight down toward the surface of the earth it would be accelerating at the rate of 1g one gravity or a 32 feet per second per second would the astronaut be crushed against the side of the ship by the acceleration no he would be floating in free fall in the middle of the craft because while the craft is accelerating at 1g so is every atom of his body accelerating at exactly the same rate

he would be in what's called free fall he would be floating now if we take the same vehicle and we'd release it over a body with the mass of the sun we'd want to make it a cold one because we don't want to evaporate the astronaut in the process but if we dropped it over a body that had the same gravitational force as the sun it would accelerate at about 10 g's or about 320 feet per second per second or about 10 times as fast as the thing falls here the astronaut would still be in free fall he still wouldn't be touching any part of the wall there's no way he could distinguish between the 1g acceleration or the 10 g's from inside the craft because he's in free fall simply because the same force is acting on him that's acting on the ship if we now took this same vehicle over a neutron scar as they're now called the result of a supernova explosion when all the charged particles are blown off and only neutrons fall back into a very dense core there are many of these that the astronomer sees today and he's measured the densities of the material and it

comes out from 15 to 30 tons per cubic inch as if we brought one cubic inch of that material back to earth it would weigh from 15 to 30 tons here a star with that density if you released it over it would accelerate at about 100 g's or about 3200 feet per second per second or about the acceleration rate of a rifle bullet in a slow speed rifle the astronaut would still be floating in free fall in the midst of the craft I mean it would feel no sense of acceleration at all because all the acceleration is being applied equally to every atom of mass so if we have an object accelerated by a g field we don't have to worry about the rate of acceleration it's limited only by the amount of force that we have available to create the field we create that g field by a resonating pair of electrical magnetic fields and I'm not going to go into this too deeply although I have a very great length and a number of colleges in just in recent weeks and months because it's a very great importance there how do you go about

producing an artificial g field because we're going to be wanting to do it here rather soon now but the process produces in producing that g field is a vector resultant of the resonance of an electromagnetic field pair it is it is created at right angles to both the electrical magnetic field it is a third dimensional field the electrical magnetic field reproduce each other perpendicular to each other or in a plane configuration the g field is the third dimensional extension of the resultant field but when that process is performed you ionize air very strongly and once you understand that you can predict practically every phenomena that's ever been associated with a UFO without ever having an elementary reaction patient is going to be perfecting the results of the process for all of the different elements of the system of the brain there's a great deal of precision and control that you have to about that and not just about the principle the principle the principle is that if this franchise known as the

without ever having seen one, without ever having heard of one. You can confidently predict what phenomena will result from that fact. You can predict, first of all, that if this object is traveling in an atmosphere that's saturated with moisture, it will cause condensation. Ionization causes instant condensation of moisture in saturated air. It's a process we first used in what was called the Wilson Cloud Chamber to study nuclear physics, where we had the supersaturated air, and the first high-energy particle came through, knocked a few electrons off of atoms in its path, produced ionization, and instantly clouds formed along that path and could be photographed. That's why they called it the Cloud Chamber. Also, because the level of ionization is very high, the ionized air will emit photons in a visible range or will emit light that can be seen in the dark, it will glow in the dark. We can predict that. These phenomena will occur. Of course, we've heard thousands of reports lately of this sort of thing, but we say maybe

people are reporting that because they know that's the way they should look. Let's go back far enough so that we know that people at that time weren't supposed to know what the result of ionization was. Go back into the Bible, for example, and you find the story of the escape of the Israelites from Egypt. They were in bondage. You'll find that as they marched across the country, they were preceded at all times by an object in the air, a UFO, if you please, because they didn't know what it was. But it stayed right ahead of them as they marched day after day, and there's a very interesting description. There are only a few words describing that object. It appeared as a cloud by day and a pillar of fire by night. You couldn't possibly make a more precise description. There are no words of the phenomena that you'd expect to be associated with a g-field-producing device. It's exactly the phenomena that we would predict would result from such a system. It also predicts that because ionized air is a very good conductor of electricity, if

one of these objects comes close to a high-tension power line, that the ionized air flowing around lines will produce a very good circuit between the high-tension line and the ground section of the line. Current will flow from the high line to the ground. It will flow to the tower. It will flow in every direction through the ionized air. You will throw a load on that system that no amount of generators could possibly keep up with. It will overload the system and the nearest generator will kick out, and a second later the next one down the line will kick out, and so on down the system. In the first great blackout, the so-called New York blackout, the whole area there when every generator in the system kicked out, it's on record that four different people were on the telephone reporting the approach of a UFO in the vicinity of the high-tension part of the line where the first overload occurred. Four different people independently were reporting this on the phone at the instance the blackout occurred.

There have been UFOs reported in the vicinity of almost every major blackout that we've had since. It has been noted by people. There are even cartoons in the paper once in a while of a UFO with a line dropping down and hooked onto our power line. The so-and-sos are swiping our power. They're causing blackouts because they're swiping our power. The reporter has to have a circuit to do that. They'd have to drop two lines. They couldn't drop one line to the high-tension. They could get a charge by dropping one line, but they wouldn't get the power. It isn't that the pesky things are stealing our power. It's just the proximity of the device to the power lines is that it doesn't. It's predictable. You can predict that's going to happen, even if you've never heard of a UFO or seen one before. Also you can predict that if one of these objects comes close to a motor vehicle that has spark plugs, that motor vehicle is going to cease functioning because the ionization of the air from that vehicle is going to stop functioning, and that is for the purpose of

the device. So you have got to know what your ability is to do a specific kind of operation on it. It finishes a much lower resistance path for the high-tension current. It will jump from the spark coil right to the ground, which is only an inch or two away from the coil. It will corona on all the connections. It will jump from the top of the spark plug down to the block, because it's a much lower resistance path than the highly compressed fuel that's not ionized, that's in the cylinder. So you simply get a discharge all over and your motor dies. Again, it's the simplest thing in the world to predict, and every physicist should be able to predict that is exactly what will occur. Interestingly enough, the Condon study took cognizance of this, but very carefully walked around it, just as they did around all of the new approaches to physics that they ran into. They couldn't help taking cognizance of it, because so many thousands of cases had come up where cars had stopped in the presence of UFOs. So in the end, they were able to do it.

So in the end, if you read their report, if you can stand to read it that far, you find that they took cognizance of the fact that motor vehicles were reported to have stopped in the proximity of the UFO. So they said, obviously, this could only be because the UFO produced a magnetic field so strong that it saturated the core of the spark coil and thereby prevented it from making sparks. So they got, I think, Chevy Company, one of the general motor companies, to run some tests. They didn't want to spend the money doing it themselves, but they got one of the motor companies to run some tests to see how strong a magnetic field would be required to saturate the core of the spark coil. They found it could be done all right, but it required a field strength so high that if you multiply this by the square of the distance, it would require tens of thousands

of kilowatts of power to produce a magnetic field. So they said, obviously, we can now safely say that the approach of a UFO can have nothing whatever to do with an automobile engine stopping. Well, it was a very simple process, and they followed it all through that examination. They ignored the logical answer. They picked an illogical answer. They proved that the illogical answer was illogical, and they said that disposes of the whole question. That's exactly the process that was followed all through that investigation. They ignored the logical, picked on the illogical, proved that it was illogical, and said that it disposes of the problem. So I didn't mean to get sidetracked as far, but there are a few things that people should understand. But getting back to this problem of the transmission of material. transmission of material, the trading of material to spaceships. The large spaceships could not come any closer than a few hundred miles. They could not come into this atmosphere. The material had to be transported to them. If you're fighting gravitational force, you're

lifting anything, no matter what process you do it by. It takes a lot of energy. It takes with us something like 100 pounds of fuel to put one pound of material, well, it's a little more than 100 pounds of fuel yet to put one pound of payload on the moon. So it takes a lot of force. This was quite a problem to them. It would cost a lot of energy. So they sought a way around it. They found a way around it by creation of some crystal-driven

and controlled systems. These systems produced an almost complete warp in the time and space

fields. Between the spaceship, when it was directly overhead and the loading platform, so to speak, on which the goods to be transported were placed on this platform, the system was energized and produced almost a complete warp in space and time between the ship a few hundred miles above the surface and the loading platform. The material could then be transferred to them, be put onto the platform, and then immediately transferred into the hold of the ship. This was a little startling to us, because we aren't accustomed to thinking in those terms. We have been too much in the habit of assuming that if an object is to move from point A to point B, or in other words, is to cease to exist at point A and begin to exist at point B, before it can exist at point B, it first has to exist momentarily at every conceivable point in between. It's what we call motion. It's the theory of motion. It's the theory of motion. Question? It's the theory of motion by moving one infinite point at a time, instead of moving

from point A to point B, occupying every single possible point in between. It's not a necessity of thought. It is a habit of thought, because it's the only way we can observe motion. It's the only motion that takes place in that pattern that we can observe. If we hang up a bunch of sheets of paper between a gun and the target at which it is aimed, and fire a bullet from the gun, when the bullet has reached the target, we will find a hole in every one of these pieces of paper, proving the fact that the bullet occupied that point at some time in its flight. But the cases where an object ceases to exist at one point and begins to exist at another point without having occupied any of the points in between are relatively rare. They're impossible to observe, and so science has never taken any cognizance of them. In metaphysics, we call it teleportation. There are several other names by location and so forth. When an object ceases to exist at one point and simultaneously begins to exist somewhere else. So it's this system

that was used. It does not defy or deny any of the laws of physics. It may seem to at first put the material on here and immediately unload it from the spaceship. But the energy of position is equal to the gravitational force of the object. The gravitational force of the object is equal to the gravitational force of the object. All laws of conservation are upheld. There's no violation of any of the physical laws that we know of. We're only violating a habit of thought, not a necessity of thought. And we're not violating any of the natural laws. This, apparently, was what was done. This system was used for the purpose of transporting to a spaceship any material that was directly above the crystal system, which motivated it. The Crystal System to the sea, it took with it some of these systems, at least one and probably several of which are still in operation. Because they were automatically triggered, they were not humanly tended, when this material was on the platform or whenever a spaceship was directly overhead, this device was automatically

triggered. It was powered by natural energy sources, energy accumulators that picked up the energy from natural sources. It could be from temperature changes, it could be from any one of a half a dozen natural energy sources that would accumulate energy over a period of time sufficient to operate this crystal system. So they are apparently triggered by some specific event, some specific condition. We do not have any specific description of these things. We can study their effects only by watching. Or by studying. The things that happen in those brief but fateful moments when they come into operation. But there have been many of these things in history. There are such a large quantity of them now that it gives us the opportunity to study fairly precisely the way in which these things work and what happens, at least. In the last century alone, thirty-two ships and twenty-seven airplanes, for which we are talking about, or which reliable and documented records exist, have sailed into this area and simply vanished.

These do not include the ships or planes that were lost to storm or fuel failure or engine failure or any of the other things. When these happen, the ships have radio, the planes have radio. They call in the base and say, I'm out of fuel, I'm going down, I'm at latitude such and such, and longitude such and such. Come out and see if you can do it. I'm out of fuel, I'm going down, I'm at latitude such and such. Come out and see if you can get me before the ship sinks or before anything happens. And there are records. We know what happened to that ship or plane. These records of disappearances in that area go back over 150 years. Of course, those ships back there didn't have radio, so there isn't quite the precise degree of information available on them. The American collier cyclops, which did not have radio, did not have radio. Cyclops, which disappeared in that area, might presumably have been sunk by enemy action. We were at war at the time. But they had a very good wireless system aboard. They were in contact with base stations at all times. Why didn't they at least radio once and say

what was happening? The Collier was not loaded with high explosives. It would have shattered the ship completely. There was the steamer Miramon, which disappeared exactly the same way. I won't body with the list. They go on and on and on. Also, they are happening practically every year today. The system hasn't stopped. It still operates. Every year there are more disappearances. As I say, I got into this research almost by accident. Not dreaming the size, magnitude of what I was getting into. I was aware of the best-noted case, the famous Flight 19, which I'll detail to you, which took off from the Naval Air

Training Station at Fort Lauderdale, Florida, on December 5, 1945. Five planes, five of the then-latest-equipped bombers, were destroyed. They were destroyed. They were destroyed. They were destroyed. They were destroyed. They were destroyed. All of the bomber planes were the latest-in-the-navigation equipment, five of them, with three crewmen apiece on each except the lead plane. The one crewman had reported sick that day, and so wasn't on the flight. So he's still around. No one has ever found out what happened to any of the other five, or the rescue plane which went out to rescue them. But we'll get to that presently. But I had heard of this and I had lectured on it a little bit up in New Jersey, which is the first place I was talked into lecturing on this subject. And I was asked to come down into Fort Lauderdale and repeat the lecture there.

It's one thing to lecture in New Jersey on something that happened in Fort Lauderdale. It's something else to go down to Fort Lauderdale and lecture on what happened in Fort Lauderdale. Because unless your data is quite precise, there's going to be someone there who's going to stand up and say it ain't so. I was there. So the first thing I did when I got into Fort Lauderdale was to go down to the biggest newspaper there. I walked into their front desk and I said, I would like to examine your microfilm records for July 6th, 7th, 8th, and 9th, 1945. This was just a couple of years ago. 1945. 1945 was a long ways back. And I didn't say why. I didn't say a word about what I wanted to say, I just said, I wonder if I could see your microfilm records of your paper for July 6th, 7th, 8th, and it happened on the 5th, on December 5th. But I knew that since it happened in the afternoon, there wouldn't be anything in the paper on the 5th. The headlines would be on the 6th and probably continuing on the 7th, 8th, and 9th.

So I said, I'd like to see your microfilm records for December 6th, 7th, 8th, and 9th, 1945. And the clerk says, yes, sir, we'll have them brought up for you. And he said, since you're obviously investigating the Bermuda Triangle, and he pulled out a drawer, they have heard there have been so many people, including three branches of the federal government, investigated that. They know those dates by heart just as well as I did. When I said those magic dates, he pulled open this drawer and said, here, you might like to look at these while you're waiting. These are a sheaf of news items which this paper has printed of very mysterious disappearances of ships and planes in this area, which were reported simply as individual mysteries. They've never been connected to the general mystery. But we keep them. We know they are, and we keep them. And here's a whole sheaf of these that we have reported in this paper alone of things that have gone out there and simply vanished. But no explanation at all. Thank you. So I made notes of these and added quite a few.

I've been adding them ever since. First time I gave this lecture in the Los Angeles area, a young fellow came up and said, gee, now I know what happened to Granddad. He said, my Granddad had a charter fishing boat, and it was out here on the West Coast. But some wealthy people wanted to charter it and wanted to go through the canal and fish on the East Coast. And so they chartered it for six months. He went back there into that area, and he said, one day the ship just disappeared. He said, we never heard anything since then, never heard a word, never found out what caused it. The ship was just gone, all the people. But he said, we didn't know that it was something that had ever happened before. He said, it was a mystery to us, but we thought it was the only time it had happened. And almost every time I give a lecture on this subject, I get some more data on it, I don't think anyone has any idea how much traffic it is. I don't think anyone has any idea how much traffic it is. And he had almost, he said, probably, in his 50s, he had lost that fast. And he had never got a single person lost in that area, because there is no real way of keeping track of what was going on. No one has ever kept track. The larger disappearances, like Flight 19, of course, become well recorded. That was a flight of five TBM Avenger bombers that took off on December 5, 1945, from a Naval Air Training Station at Fort Lauderdale, Florida. They were to make a routine patrol. They put three officers, six officers, six officers on the other side of the ship. And the guys in the back were the very same people. which they made every so often. They were to fly due east for somewhere around 90 miles and then to fly from there to fly north about 40 miles and then directly back to base. Just a little triangular flight. It was supposed to take about an hour and 45 minutes. And almost an hour and 45 minutes had gone by and the base tower was expecting a call to ask for landing information. Instead, they got an SOS from this flight.

Which the base tower operator really could not believe. He asked what was the matter and they said, we don't know where we are. And he said, five modern bombing planes with precision bombing and navigation equipment? You don't know where you are? No, we don't know where we are. We don't know how to get back to base. Eventually we're going to run out of fuel and we don't even know which direction to fly in. And the tower thought surely they were pulling his leg. And he says, we'll fly to the west. The whole continent of North America lies to the west of you. You can't miss it. They said, we do not know which direction is west. We cannot tell any direction. I'm coming to that. That was the next thing. That was the next thing that the tower operator said. He said, it's now after four o'clock in the afternoon in December. He said, the sun is getting close to the horizon. He says, fly toward the setting sun. It sets in the west or had you forgotten that? And the lead pilot says, there is no sun in the sky in which we are flying.

And he said, what do you mean? He says, are you on cloud cover? He said, no, there are no clouds. There is no sun either. The sea appears to be boiling. It's turning up. The air is red. Everything is red around us. Nothing is as it should be. Everything is different. Everything is wrong. And it was hysteria in his voice. And this pilot was hysterical. Something. Something tremendous had happened to him. He didn't know what it was. And it happened to everyone on those five planes. For 20 minutes, the tower listened to communication between the planes and between the planes in his tower. Unbelieving. He thought a huge joke was being pulled on him because a thing like this was impossible. You can't send five modern bombing planes out on an hour and 45 minute flight and have them get lost out there. In the first place, they would be within sight of land. At some point, all during that flight, there's all kinds of islands out there and you'd be inside of land normally and they couldn't see land. None of their instruments worked.

And they were they were hysterical. And finally, the lead pilot turned over command to another plane, something which is done only in the most severe of emergencies. But he said, fellas, that I can't lead you anymore and you take it from here. And at that point, the. Tower operator. Tower operator realized that it must be serious and they immediately prepared a Martin flying boat and it took off almost immediately after communication broke instantly in the middle of a sentence. The lead pilot was still talking and he said, it looks like we are and communication broke off instantly at that point, although it had been coming in loud and clear up that point instantly. It was gone. So immediately thereafter, a Martin flying boat with 13 rescue people. 13. People aboard. It was launched. The Martin flying boat was designed to land on water. It was a water rescue plane. It was loaded with flotation gear with life preservers. Because they had to pick up 14, 14 people who was loaded with life preservers, with rubber rafts, with all kinds of flotation equipment.

It took off. It made two routine radio reports as it was heading out in the direction that it was assumed the flight would be. And then it suddenly went into silence. Not one sign of the five planes of any of their crew or one sign of that Martin flying boat was ever found in spite of the largest air-sea rescue effort in American history. That resulted in the largest air-sea rescue effort in American history. The aircraft carrier Solomon's was in the vicinity and within hours there were 300 planes in the air scouring every foot. The ground that these planes could possibly have gone over. That Martin flying boat, if you had taken it directly up to its service ceiling, headed it directly down with the throttle open and dived it into the ocean at full throttle, at least 100 pieces of floating material would have come to the surface and floated indefinitely. It was loaded with life preservers with flotation gear for rescue purposes. You couldn't possibly make that plane disappear. There would have been pieces of wreckage and flotation gear visible for miles away.

Nothing was ever found. Of that, its 13 passengers, the five TBM Avenger bombers, or any of their 14 crewmen, nothing was ever found. The search went on for about five days, ships scouring the area, crisscrossing the area, planes in the air. They couldn't believe it. They couldn't believe why nothing could be found of that ship. And I relatively support that. It was a relatively small area, not so far as was recorded. There may have been other things lost, but if there were, they were probably small things. The reports that were given to me by the newspaper didn't contain any that occurred on those five days, which doesn't necessarily mean there weren't some, because as I say, I'm still picking up reports of things that were lost that no one realized was a part of a pattern. But that's the way it is. That's the way it is. That remains to this day a complete mystery. Eventually President Truman appointed some officials to investigate that thing in depth. These people that were appointed became what is now known as the CIA, if you ever wondered

how the CIA came into existence. It was Flight 19, really, that started the CIA. These officers were appointed as an investigative group. They were called the CIA. They was the first group to investigate that, but then were given other duties and the thing built up from there. But this group took, airlifted the wives, the mothers, the relatives of these lost fliers

to Washington, DC, where they had a conference to discuss what could possibly have happened. Only one of the people would talk after that conference. Apparently they had all been told not to. No one. mother of one of the fliers said for publication that she thought, as a result of that conference, she had thought that perhaps her son was still alive somewhere in space. That was the only published comment on that. From what had been discussed on the meeting, she thought perhaps her son was still alive somewhere in space. That was the only comment that would be made by any of the relatives that went there. This was one incident. About two years later, a British overseas airline flying from Bermuda South had just given a routine report saying everything was fine, the flying weather was perfect, they were at 10,000 feet altitude and this was before they flew at 50,000 feet, and that they would be landing in 20 minutes. Then that plane disappeared. No wreckage was ever found, no complaint went out over the air, no May Day signal, no SOS, no nothing. It just vanished. A year later, almost to

the day, another British overseas airline plane flying in the opposite direction toward Bermuda vanished in the same way at approximately the same place, except this was in broad daylight. In 1945, a flight of five U.S. military planes were flying north through the area and lost two of their planes en route. It was broad daylight. The planes were flying with inter-visible distance. Any one of the pilots could see any of the rest of the five planes. They weren't flying in close formation, but they were flying inter-visibly. Any pilot could see all five of the planes. Suddenly they noticed there weren't five, there were only three. That the two on the left-hand wing is looking from the front. They were gone. I have in my files a letter written from the Air Force to the mother of one of the pilots. I've gone to some length to document these things, because so many times people say, This is only legend, this is only a theory. When I got the papers in Fort Lauderdale, I took down the names of every one of the fourteen pilots on the 5TBM

Avenger bombers. I took down the names of each of the 14 pilots on the 5TBM Avenger bombers, their military rating, the length of time of service, how much navigation equipment. The papers had it all. They had complete histories on each one of these men, their nearest of kin and the address of the nearest of kin. They even have that. So anyone can find out for themselves that there's nothing fallacious, nothing made up about the things that happened in the Bermuda Triangle. There have been three submarines to date that have disappeared in that area. The Bermuda Triangle, the Scorpion was the latest one. It was coming from the Mediterranean from an extended cruise. And its last radio report said it was heading northwest toward its base in Virginia, and it expected to be there in about six days, and that the crew of ninety-nine crewmen and officers would be so happy to get back home after the long cruise. And that was the last report. After four or five days of not hearing any more, the Navy set up a tremendous effort

to communicate with the thing. Did you have a question? Yes. Can you find out about the? Well, about the only thing we could do is, of course, try to find out where it is. If we could find out where it is, planes could avoid that particular area. You can only proceed in a case like this by statistics mostly. And, of course, to make statistics valid, you have to have as large as possible a number of cases to work on. You can, even with the number of cases I have now, can find some rather significant statistics. For one thing, a little over eighty-five percent of all of these disappearances have occurred either in the last half of December or the first half of January. That is, there is the thirty-day period out of the year in which there are eighty-five percent of all of these disappearances. I thought I might be able to find out something about that. Last time we were in Florida, a friend of mine and I took a plane and we flew right across the major area of disappearance on the second of January, which is right at the

center of the critical point. We didn't have any luck. If we had, I probably wouldn't be speaking to you now. Yes. Well, thank you. Well, according to the theory, this device is a transportation device. And, hopefully, it obviously isn't triggered all the time, because everything that flies through the Bermuda area doesn't disappear. If it did, traffic would have ceased in that area a long time ago. But at certain times of the year, under certain conditions, when a plane, ship, or submarine goes over a certain precise point, it's no longer there. It's gone. To this part, we can only speculate because nobody has ever come back. Originally, apparently, the system was set up to transport this material, whatever it was, to the hold of some huge spaceship, which is perhaps a few hundred miles out there. If it works independently of a spaceship being there, then it's too bad for whatever gets sent out there, because they are suddenly

a few hundred miles out in space. If they wind up in the hold of a spaceship, then they are probably all right. And any of the ones to whom that happened, that they are probably all right. probably wouldn't be too anxious. They'd probably be anxious to send back information, but might not be too anxious to come back.

I would not be too anxious to come back. I would like to research a number of times Cayce referred to these crystal systems, and much of this later brought destruction and so forth. And this came out in readings almost out of context, as though it suddenly burst into his mind. And he read them out. The time that he made these readings has all been recorded, I think. I don't have the specific exact time that these recordings were made of Cayce's. But if I could get the exact time, then we could compare it with events in the Triangle to see if any known disappearances were occurring at the time that it came into his mind to mention about the crystal system. Well, there isn't a great deal more to this. It's a continuing thing. I have in a briefcase, I think, a newspaper item which came out just a short time ago about the latest chip that disappeared. They keep accumulating. I record the data. And when I look at it, I find that it's a very interesting thing. I put it on a separate sheet in my files at home, and it's getting thicker and thicker.

Of course, with each edition there's a little bit more statistical material, at least, to work with. And you can begin to draw tentative conclusions when you have enough of it. The thing we need to do is find the exact points where these disappearances take place. It can't be too wide an area, because of the five planes, only the two that were flying out on the wing disappeared. They were within the area of activation, the other planes apparently were flying out of it. In the case of the five PBM bombers, they all apparently flew directly over. They were all within the area of activation. Now, that is the only case, that is the most notable case, because it's the only case where communication was possible after the thing had been triggered. They were still hanging like Muhammad's coffin between heaven and earth, or wherever. As long as that device was activated, the space was zero between the two ends of the thing. They were really no longer on earth, nor were they anywhere else. They were in a zero space, so to speak.

But as I pointed out at the beginning, the electrical and magnetic fields were not severely activated, although the direction would be changed. But it was still possible to send out electromagnetic signals that could be received by the tower. But the instant that trigger went off, the instant that device ceased to function and ceased to produce that space warp, they were then instantly at the far end of the transmitting system, wherever that might have been. So communication broke off instantly, because they were no longer at that point. END OF TRANSMISSION But as long as the crystal system was activated, the space warp continued, and they were nowhere, so to speak. I mean, they weren't on earth, they weren't anywhere else exactly yet either, until the thing shut off. Then they were totally and completely at the far end of the system. But that is the only time when, apparently, the pilots became aware of the fact that something terrible had happened to them in time to communicate about. In the other cases, it simply happened and it was too late.

The fact that it needs to be realized, I know of only one. I have no doubt that there are many, but I have only had personal experience with one individual that wasn't born on this earth. I wouldn't take my own troubles to him, no matter how severe they were, although we would probably try to help. But if every person on this planet, three billion people, took their troubles to him or even to some of the other beings who are here to keep us alive, primarily, they wouldn't have any time left to keep us alive. They would have millions of people who had problems. They would have millions of questions that they wanted answered, and they wouldn't have any time to perform the function that they were here for. So I have never really spent much time discussing with Alon any questions, except in the first case when he was convincing me that they were indeed extraterrestrial, that they were here

Apparently this white water appears when this device is activated because there have been a couple of cases where boats have been on the edge of this thing, have experienced the very rough water and sometimes a tremendous wall of water, but survived because they were on the outer edge

of whatever was going on. There have been a few stories, a few articles written by the people who have experienced this at the close edge. I don't really have any more information than the fact that they occurred, and more information than is given by the people who actually experienced it. I don't recall them giving any evidence that it was radioactive. It could have been. I guess that's the size of the questions we have here.

Well, it's a fairly well-known astronomical phenomena. It's there, and it's coming, and presumably around Christmastime it will be very visible to the naked eye, both by night and by day, at least during a portion of the day. It won't be visible, of course, to everybody all day, because it's only in a certain part of the heavens, and when the earth is rotated away from it, you won't be able to see it. But it'll be visible for a number of weeks, probably. You can see it now with a good pair of binoculars. And as it gets a little closer, you'll be given information on just where to point your binoculars or your telescope to see it. I hope to do considerable observation of it myself. During its periods of closeness or whenever it comes within photographic range of a telephoto lens, I'll probably be making some motion pictures and photographs of it. The question was, did I have any data on the coming comet? And as I say, I don't really have any data yet that goes farther than the data that is published. And you'll see something

in almost every newspaper on it, probably from now on. You'll see a great deal more in the tabloid papers. And there you'll see estimates on the effects and so forth. The astronomers aren't giving any estimates on the effects yet because they admit that they don't know enough about exactly how close it will come. The trajectory hasn't been that sufficiently charted yet. It's difficult to chart the trajectory of something that's coming almost directly toward you. And so far, that comet is. But it will begin to curve in the solar gravitational field as it gets a little closer and probably will miss this planet by a good, safe margin. Many people have worried very strongly about what would happen if the Earth went through the tail of a comet. And the Earth has, on at least three occasions in recorded history, gone through some part of the extreme end of the tail of a comet. And nothing particularly happened, except there were some very bright aurora borealis and aurora osculus displays and so forth. And no one was seriously damaged.

Of course, it depends on how close up to the head, of course, the matter would be denser toward the head of the comet than toward the tail. So there is no estimate, so far at least, that the Earth will pass through the tail of this one. But the astronomers aren't saying too much yet, except that it's coming. They know about when it will arrive and that it will be somewhere between five and a hundred times as bright as Venus. Minimum brightness would be five times the brightness of Venus and the maximum brightness would maybe be a hundred times as bright as Venus, depending somewhat on the material and how it reacts to the sunlight as it gets closer to the sun, how much it will actually radiate. But it's said that it will be, plainly visible, even in broad daylight. It wouldn't be that close. So it will be something to see. It's said to be the most interesting astronomical display in the 20th century.

Well, the ones that we use in the laser system are grown. They are produced synthetically and they are produced in a long, fairly slender crystal. A laser system is simply a crystal. That is, we use other types of lasers. But the first ones were a crystal which was excited by an electrical field and produced light. Basically, to understand it, I should go back to basic principles. All of you, I'm sure, at some time or another have stood between two mirrors, one of which was at your back and one of which was in front of you. Many bathrooms are arranged that way so that you can see the back of your hair as well as the front of it when you're dressing and so forth. And you look in this mirror and you see the light. You see yourself there and there and there and there. You see a whole line of yourselves because the light is bouncing back and forth between these two mirrors and each time it goes back and forth it produces another reflection of you a little farther away. Well, most imaginative persons at that point think,

gee, if I just put mirrors all around me, if I just build a box, not necessarily around me, but build a box all of mirrors and put a light in the middle of it, then I could intensify the light to any degree because it wouldn't escape. If I kept the light on, the original light would keep bouncing back and forth and the lamp would be giving out more all the time so the light would get stronger and stronger and stronger all the time. Well, it really doesn't work that way. It will. You can intensify light up to a certain point. But the average light bulb produces light of almost all frequencies. And when these begin to bounce back and forth, they travel at a slightly different rate and the wavelengths interfere with each other. And so most of the energy is converted into heat so that you will get an intensification of light in a little while and then after that it won't intensify any more. You'll just begin to heat up the box. So in order to amplify light, in order to concentrate it, you have to have light that is all of the same frequency.

And the ruby crystal, if you wind a coil around a ruby crystal and you induce in that coil a flow of light, a flow of very high frequency electrons, very high frequency electrical energy, it will excite the crystal. The crystal will begin to produce photons of light. But in a ruby crystal, every one of those photons is exactly the same frequency. It's what they call monochromatic light, light of just one frequency. And one end of that crystal is silvered very heavily and the other end is silvered very, very lightly. But that light bounces back and forth between those two silvered surfaces, growing greater all the time, until finally it becomes so strong that it bursts through the thinly silvered layer and comes out in a tremendously intense beam of light striking whatever target it's aimed at. The laser system actually is that simple. I mean, creating a system that does it, the electrical oscillator and so forth, is more complicated. But basically, you're exciting a ruby crystal to produce light inside of it, light all exactly the same frequency,

monochromatic light, which therefore will not interfere with itself and can be amplified to almost any degree. Well, and if you turn off the current that's energizing it, it stops. And the light will stop when it strikes something if it's solid enough to stop it. I mean, a laser system will burst a balloon if you put a small toy balloon over there and aim a laser beam at it, it will burst the balloon. But it won't shatter the wall behind the balloon. So it does have a limit of force. But it can be deadly to an individual. I mean, if an individual, the same force that shatters the balloon could be deadly to an individual. So don't stand in front of a laser beam while it's operating, or even a radar system, for that matter.

Not the laser function in particular. There's no evidence that the laser function is there. But another one of the functions that a crystal system can produce. A crystal system can put out energy under proper excitation of almost any kind of energy. Any application, remember as I said back in the beginning, any application of energy results in force. Any application of force results in energy. And that energy output will be determined by the nature of the applied energy to it. And can produce many types of phenomena. This, there's a crystal in this. The fact that you're hearing my voice is because the sound of the sound wave striking it bend it just a tiny little bit. And when it's bent, it generates an electrical potential that's amplified a few million times and operates the loudspeaker. Well, yeah, there, I don't recall the exact chapter or verse.

There are a number of references in the Bible to the crystal. And in Ezekiel's wheel, it uses the color of the barrel. And there's a reference, I think, there to crystal or the appearance of crystal, too, in Ezekiel's wheel. Well, the flap, a saucer flap, I think I mentioned a little bit at the beginning.

We see a lot of saucers when the world is in a condition of crisis. They then seem to be around more thickly than any other time. Whether they are preparing to take some of us off, as some people would say, or whether they're just casually observing what's happening here, or what's going to happen. I can't say. I don't pretend to be good enough to be one of those taken off, if some are. So I'm not particularly concerned. I'm sure I'll be wherever I belong when that thing happens. So that we do, however, during periods of world crisis, it's one of the things you can measure the flaps by, although I don't know that anybody ever has. They've measured it by the close approach of Mars. They've tried to determine what is connected with a large flap. But they have a large flap here. As far as those who were picked up, I have read only the outline of the story. I've been down in near Phoenix, Arizona. We're doing some work on solar energy there, and getting ready to do a lot more work on it down there. And really, I have been not too completely in touch with news, with regular news sources.

I did read the article. But I don't know any more about that yet than what anyone else would know who has read the article. In time, I'll know a great deal more about it. Yes? The only trouble with a black hole is that you pretty much have to have a collapsed

star to get enough energy. I know that the theory of a black hole is that simply when a star, after it becomes a neutron star, becomes a neutron star, it becomes a black hole. It becomes a black hole. The black hole is the star. Its density is so great, its gravitational force is so great that it will implode. That is, it falls inward. The compression force is greater than the structural strength of the material, and it falls more and more densely. And of course as it falls inward, it gets still more dense, and the gravitational field is still stronger, so it falls in even faster. It is a process that runs to completion. That is, until it completely disappears as matter and becomes a field or inverted globe, matter, at which point the density and the resultant gravitational pull would be so great that even light could not escape from this. Any light hitting it or striking in would just go in and stop. It could never bounce out again, because the gravitational field was so strong that even the velocity of light would not be an escape velocity from that field.

So it will capture any light or anything else that comes through. Any spaceship coming in the vicinity would drop in and would never come out. Even light wouldn't come out. So this is the basis of the black hole. If we had a half an hour or so to devote to this, and we had some good physicists here, I could give you some interesting mathematical data that I have worked out on the black hole. Because of the fact that the strength here is intense enough to go beyond the zero point in the curve of natural law, there wouldn't really be any tendency for a thing going by to fall. In fact, it would be repelled a little bit, because the field is now so intense that it inverts the effect and tends to repel things that go by. It would. Any light going in, light would have a sufficient speed to enter the thing, not sufficient speed to leave it again. So there would be a black hole there, but a spaceship going by wouldn't be able to enter that area, even if it wanted to. If it tried to, it would simply slide around in space, around past the hole, but light

would go in and would not come out. Yes? A local has spoken of the danger of the species.

It does have a very definite effect upon the body when one is very, very monocle, as you said. A natural crystal is worn in the same manner. What effect does it have on the body as well? Well, it would depend on the crystal itself, and probably somewhat on the way it's worn. The body is worn, and something probably on the aura of the person who was seen. who was who was wearing it well i think yes i think there'd be no doubt that there would be some types of crystals worn next to the body would be more beneficial than others there might be some whose effect was harmful i don't pretend to be enough an expert on this type of crystal to say which ones you should wear however well it was quite some time back uh direct

communication i haven't during this last crisis and i haven't made any attempt to because i'm sure that villan is as busy as the proverbial one-armed paper hanger with the highest i'm sure he has all he can do without being bothered by communication from other people apparently he's somewhat successful in his efforts because this thing did get stopped before it got too far and before it brought the united states and the soviet union at each other's throats which it threatened to do for quite some time it took a little bit of doing to keep that from happening the way the thing was starting out but i'm sure that he is busy some a time ago i did have occasion to seek a communication which i seldom do and have always said i never would but this was a severe case it didn't have anything to do with my problems because i would never take mine to him but another individual who was in very serious straits and wanted a little help and i said well i haven't made any effort to communicate for some time um i did establish communication i asked where lon was at the time and it turned out he was in

washington dc well he had spent almost all of his time in the vicinity of cairo or tel aviv i mean in the in the near east somewhere because he does buying and selling there he acts as an import export buyer he's known to thousands of people i think there are only four people on earth that know he's alien to the planet but he's known every day in business to thousands of people and i asked him what in the world he was doing in washington dc that's the last place i'd think anyone would go for recreation or pleasure or anything and he said well i've got some business there and i said commercial business or monkey business he's just as normal as anybody else now i mean they talk in the vernacular so to speak and he said no comment but he said you'll probably be hearing about it on radio or television in a day or so he says i'm just in washington dc I have to be in Moscow tomorrow, and I'll be there for some little time, and you'll be hearing about it." And in signing off, I said, Well, I'll be seeing you in Moscow.

He says, Better stay home. He says, Moscow is going to be kind of hot for a few days. Twenty-four hours later, on television, Nixon announced the mining of the Haiphong harbors and the resumption of bombing of North Vietnam. And I understood then why he had to be in Moscow the next day, and why he thought it would be kind of hot there for a while. If you recall that event, you will recall that every commentator on the radio and television said, Well, we don't know exactly what Russia's reaction to this slap in the face will be, but we're sure of one thing. It will cancel the Nixon visit to Moscow. The way they feel over there about this sort of thing. They couldn't possibly have allowed him to visit Moscow after this kind of a slap in the face. Well, they all turned out to be wrong. Nixon did go, and during the conference, publicly at least, nothing was said about Vietnam at all outwardly. I'm sure they did a great deal of spirited discussion of it in private. But his visit did go on, and he did come back, with some apparent lowering of tensions.

I don't know. I think it's a pretty good idea to call for a new reality. But if we keep saying this, I don't know what to do. All right. We're going to have to do something, and I just want to ask, as we've said, this is what was said in the press conference on December 26th and the day before. So I'm going to tell you a story about this

discussion at the time. So, what was said about this? What should I do? Let's just talk about it. because these commentators were right. What they were predicting was the normal Russian reaction to such an event. So it took a little doing, and I could understand why he had to be in Moscow, even though I didn't know why at the time he said it, because it was twenty-four hours later that we got the newsflash of what had happened. Are you familiar with any other areas around the world that have a similar effect of the Bermuda Triangle? There are supposed to be a series of them, I believe sixty degrees apart, in which similar disappearances have occurred. There are, I think, more such disappearances occur in the Bermuda Triangle than all of the rest of them put together, except possibly one point off China. But that may be simply because the traffic through that Bermuda area is much greater than any of the other areas. So there's more likelihood of that. Well, the normal theory of a self-activating

system would simply be that it would be activated whenever, since it was designed as a transport system to transport material from the surface of the earth to the hold of a spaceship. It would be activated whenever a spaceship was in that area, and whenever there was solid-state material in that area. Now, we know that this is the case, because it is designed to generate a small amount of electricity. The year it passed, however, the energy it would generate would be huge. And then we know that it would be treated well in a future era, it would be treated well, perhaps even more so if it would be treated in the present-day. Now, in the Bermuda Triangle we have a lot of such processes. In mind, the number of those are big, and it is a lot more complex to deal with in the future. We are likely to be using more than one kind of frequency system. We haven't yet found an obvious example of mass. We have a reference, speaking of the two frequencies where these frequencies are connected. We do have systems of proximity-fuses and proximity devices in which the mere proximity

of a mass of a certain size that will trigger an electrical action. We are quite familiar proximity system that is triggered by the passage of the mass over the area at a time when there is a spaceship above. This must have been the theory that was propounded by the federal boys who called his mother. The mother said she thought her son was still alive somewhere in space. It's the only explanation on earth which could give rise to that sort of belief. He obviously wasn't swimming around in space out there and still alive if he weren't in something. His body is as natural as anybody else's. He acts as an import-export buyer.

He's known to thousands of people. He contacts them every day. It was not all that easy to come down here and take up life as an earthling. It was estimated that it would require four years for the transformation. In actual fact, it took a little closer to five. That was a little over a year. It was an over-optimistic estimate. The gravitational field that they used in the craft was only a little over half as strong as the gravitational field of the earth. If he had simply come down here, all of his vital organs would have weighed twice as much as normal. The heart, the lungs, everything else would have weighed twice as much. It would have been displaced downward because they are suspended by ligaments. It would have been displaced downward. The function would have been interfered. They could tolerate it for a while, but not continuously, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The system had to be acclimated to that. They, in the ship, acquired two trace elements which the body needs through breathing, through the atmosphere. There were trace elements

in their atmosphere which are not found in ours. He had to accustom his system to acquiring those trace elements through ingestion of food. That took some time. I don't know altogether how many differences there were in the environment that had to be overcome, but it was estimated it would take four years. I'd say it took almost five. $108.132 But he could not come down, until he could act in every way completely normal, because he was going to, to all outward appearances, be a naturalborn earthling. You can't deviate too much and not be noticeable. Alan had never set foot on a planet in his life. The earth was the first planet he had ever set foot on, nor had his parents, nor their parents, ever set foot on a planet. It is something that raises great awareness of more than just the theoretical, but a fundamental truth of earth-and-mouth, and is very important. He was taught at a very young age by his father, wonder in mind, as I see Jaws drop and so forth, how can a thing like this be accepted? You have to realize to begin with that at least 70 to 80 percent of all the intelligent

life in this galaxy has never set foot on a planet, and under normal circumstances would never dream of doing so. They live in their own created planetoids, spaceships which contain all of the cycles of ecology that we have on this planet that take in energy from a star or our sun and use that energy to maintain a cycle of ecology within the ship, just as it has done on this planet for millions of years. We don't use up the materials of life in going through the life cycle. We're polluting them pretty rapidly right now, but we've got just as much of it around as we had a million years ago. So in a spaceship, if you build complete cycles of ecology, you're going to have a cycle of life. It is a home. It is not a vehicle. We are so accustomed to thinking of spaceships as vehicles in which people jump from one planet to another. They jump in the vehicle and whizz off to land on another planet, which they're going to conquer and take over and live there, or something, according to our television programs. You don't have to worry about it at all.

No race that has ever truly and completely conquered space is ever going to deign to go back and live on a planet. It would be like us going into the middle of the Brazil. The Brazilian jungle putting bones in our nose and wire around our neck and eating grub worms with the natives. They have progressed beyond that. They have graduated from planets. We have to realize that the center portion of this galaxy is much, much older than the section in which we live. And as you observe astronomically galaxies throughout this universe, we see them in all stages of creation. From the dark to the bright. From the dark nebula to the glowing nebula to the condensation that contain a few stars to those that are completely condensed and so on. We see that stars appear first in the central portions of the galaxy. The matter is denser there. It consequently condenses at a higher rate and stars form first there. The minimum estimate today of the time differential between the center of a galaxy and the point that we occupy is a little over two million years.

That's the minimum. Most estimates are much higher. But it simply means that anything that is going on this planet today went on thousands of planets in the center of this galaxy at least two million years ago and has been going on at a constantly increasing rate of sophistication ever since. It means that two million years ago planets in the center of this galaxy began to build the kind of spaceships we do. They began to build bigger ones. They began, as we are planning now, to assemble huge spaceships. They began to build bigger ones. They began, as we are planning now, to assemble huge spaceships. They began to build bigger ones. They began to build bigger spaceships in parking orbits about the earth. We won't launch these huge spaceships from the earth. We will take the first section up, put it into a parking orbit. The next day you take the next section up, attach it. Almost all of our orbital space exercise has been oriented in this direction. You have all been watching it. You should realize that this is a practice for building spaceships of any desired size

in a space orbit. Each section that goes up and is attached is a space. attached there is a little return capsule that takes those astronauts back and then a couple days later another section is taken up and attached we could begin today to build a spaceship of any desired size a piece at a time it would be expensive true to build a spaceship capable of maintaining say 50 or 100 people in space indefinitely would cost perhaps as much as six months of the vietnam war an almost inconceivable amount when you figure it in billions of dollars it would cost more than we have spent on our space program from the beginning to build one such vehicle would cost more probably than we spent on our space the space program from the very beginning but it would be only as much as we spent for a few months in the vietnam war people don't realize it but our space program have never cost us as much as one half of one percent of the gross national product less than one half of one percent the gross national product is what we is a maximum we've

ever spent on a space program in any one year so we could do it we have the technology we would have to improve it as we went along but we could create closed cycle ecology in which life went on and on all it takes is a constant input of energy when we breathe air in we breathe in oxygen some of it's converted to carbon dioxide and we breathe out some carbon dioxide when we breathe out you It isn't very good to breathe again. Anaphyse was the only kind of life there was on this planet that would have ceased to exist millions of years ago, because all of the oxygen would have become carbon dioxide. Nature foresaw this problem and very kindly put another kind of life on this planet, which it calls plant life. Plant life basically takes in carbon dioxide, breaks it down through chlorophyll and the action of the energy of sunlight. It uses the carbon in its own growth, releases the oxygen into the air for further breathing by the animal, and in the process the plant grows and develops and becomes food for the

animal. There is a complete cycle of ecology that goes on and on and can be incorporated in any spaceship. I don't mean you are going to have huge meadows there. You have a solution containing plant enzymes through which the atmosphere breathed by the astronauts is constantly bubbled. The plants take out the carbon dioxide, use it in their own growth, and as they grow and develop they eventually become food for the astronauts. The process does take a small but constant input of energy. This planet has always got that energy from the sun, and so will the spaceship as long as it is within any reasonable distance from this sun or any other star. In interstellar trips it would have to take some form of stored energy to keep the cycle going. But we know today how to do it. We are planning to do it. Within a couple of decades, at the very most, it is going to be funded and we are going to be doing it. So it isn't too early to become accustomed to it. When those ships are built, they will be independent of this planet or any other planet.

They will never have to return to this planet, nor will they ever have to touch any other planet if they don't choose to. This process began in the center of the galaxy two million years ago. The objection of the astronaut to the visitation of this planet is always the same. All their objections are based on time and distance. They say, sure, there is intelligent life out there. But they don't. There has to be. It is a statistical certainty. Somewhere in this 150,000 million solar systems that are in this galaxy, there has got to be life. But, of course, it is much too far away for visiting purposes. It could never visit us because it would take years and years of sitting in a small space capsule which no astronaut would be willing to do. I don't know why they have to be small capsules, just because that is all we have built now. Our biggest one is the size of a five-room house, but that isn't very big yet. But when we consider the fact that it has only been a few years since the biggest thing we could launch was the size of a grapefruit, we have increased by more than 10,000 times

the size of the object we can put into space in that few years. You project another period of the same number of years and we will be projecting things that are not the size of a five-room house, but 10,000 times the size of a five-room house. It is a curve. It is just a simple extrapolation. It is a curve. It is an extrapolation of an existing curve. Once you put a spaceship in motion, it never loses that motion. You don't have to keep adding energy. The first law of motion says that any body put in motion will continue in motion in the same direction at the same speed until acted on by an outside force. Once you accelerate, I mean our rockets that we send to the moon only accelerate for about the first five minutes. They coast all the rest of the way for the rest of the 90 hours. So in going from one place to another, the spaceship doesn't have to do that. It has to continue using energy. It has to just put the thing in motion to begin with and will continue then until they apply energy to change or until it comes within some gravitational field that applies energy

to it. The only energy required is that to keep sugars being built up, the synthetic processes of producing food and so forth going on. People ask, Do space people eat meat? I can only answer, I'm sure they don't, but not because of the reason that most people ask the question. It isn't a moral question at all. It's simply, can you imagine a spaceship being built large enough to have a huge meadow in there so they could have a bunch of cows grazing in order so they could then slaughter the cows and eat the meat? It would be about the most inefficient thing in the world, especially one with a little technology you can synthesize food in any form that you want. A gentleman named Arthur Clarke, I'm sure most of you have heard of him, he writes all kinds of space science and science fiction. He's a great man. I've known him well for many years. When he first came over here, he came over here as a member of the International Rocket Society, which then was considered to be about as nutty an organization as it could be.

But he gave a lecture here not too long ago, which was reported in the newspapers and a couple of scientific magazines, in which he was saying, Instead of pumping all this oil up and burning it, we should be eating it. He pointed out quite correctly that three percent of the oil that's being consumed by our people, which is the oil we take out of the ground, would feed all the people on earth. Three percent of the oil that we take out of the ground would produce ample food for all the people on earth. So he said we should be eating the oil instead of burning it. In reading this, I couldn't help but think, I wonder how long it's been since Mr. Arthur Clarke has looked at the contents list on any of our processed foods today. We are eating it. It's a tremendous risk. there's hardly a processed food made today that's processed by any means that doesn't have petroleum products in it so we are eating but the point i'm making that we can synthesize food we don't have to worry about having to have a huge areas devoted to agriculture all we have to do is collect the

energy solar energy from those sources and we can synthesize all the sugars and all the basic foods that we need and the spaceship does i mean it doesn't have to grow them in the sense that we do putting seeds in the ground i mean the food is automatically synthesized continuously but these huge ships when they are created are the homes of the people with them that's why sail on had never set foot on a planet under normal circumstances would never have dreamed of doing so that would be as big a come down as us going out and living with the natives in the jungle and the only reason we do that is because we don't have the energy to do that we don't have the energy to do that we don't have the energy to do that we don't have the energy to do that we don't have the energy to do that we do it we do have some people who do go out and live in the jungle we call them missionaries they go there for one purpose only to offer to those beings those parts of our culture which they think might be advantageous to them in which they might accept and there's a few missionaries

once in a while come to this planet but they don't come here to live off the fat of the land because it's like we going back into the jungle to live with a native so about 70 to 80 percent at least of the total intelligent or technological life in the galaxy has never set foot on a planet entire planets in the central portion of this galaxy have been mined to extinction planets that have nickel iron cores as this planet is supposed to have but do not have conditions suitable for life have been converted in the last two million years entirely into spaceship we worry about increasing population on this planet pretty soon we're going to be standing four deep on each other's shoulders this one profit of doom put it in a book i think called the population explosion he showed that the next number of generations we're all going to be standing four deep on each other's shoulders because there won't be enough room left on surface of the earth for us to stand well it immediately raised a little problem in my mind i wonder after we're all standing three deep on

each other's shoulders how we're going to go about creating the next generation that's going to stand back up and do something about it four deep on each other's shoulders. There's a little problem in there that's hard to figure out. There was also a company that took advantage of this to make one of the most humorous commercials I've ever seen. This one was really humorous, which few of them are, but it was a beer company. And the gentleman in giving the commercial said, Now, friends, you've all heard, of course, the fact that in a certain number of generations, we're all going to be standing four deep on each other's shoulders because there won't be room on earth for us to stand. But there are some extenuating circumstances. There are some things that are going to help matters a little bit, because we have applied the same curve of increase to our industry. And last year, we increased our rate of beer production by 28 percent. So if we extrapolate our beer production by the same rate as the population explosion,

by the time we're all standing four deep on each other's shoulders, we'll all be standing in 40 feet of beer. So it does show sometimes a little bit the ridiculousness of these extrapolations into the future, completely ignoring other things that will happen. We have so many problems of approaching doom that are given as though there's nothing we could do about it. This is an explosion. We're all going to starve to death because there are going to be too many people on earth. The people who say that forget. They say this as though this was a tidal wave, an earthquake, something that comes upon us, and there isn't a thing we can do about it. We have to realize that it takes the complete and usually voluntary cooperation of at least two people to produce every other person that comes on this earth. And obviously, when the pressure becomes great enough, we can slow down the pressure. We can slow down the process any time we choose, or stop it entirely if we choose. It isn't something that's going to overtake us like a tidal wave and there's nothing we can do about it. It's

something that we are doing voluntarily, we're creating voluntarily, and we can stop the process whenever the pressure becomes great enough. So I don't think we'll ever really be standing four deep on each other's shoulders. But we might take this planet apart, create from it about five or six trillion spaceships capable of containing maybe 2,000 people apiece. And thereby, and by putting them in orbit about the sun at the same distance, or a little closer than we are to the sun, the sun puts out ample energy to keep all of those trillion spaceships well supplied with energy. The sun puts out more energy every second than has been used on this earth since the beginning of history. Every second the sun puts out more energy than this earth has received since the beginning of history. So if you put these in orbit about the sun by the millions, and you put them in orbit about the million, you can contain all the population explosion that we're likely to have in the next few thousand years at least. And since this sort of thing did happen in the center of this

galaxy a few million years ago, you can imagine the number of spaceships that are around in the galaxy today. The astronomer points out that the galaxy is a whale of a big place, and it is. There's a lot of cubic light years in it. But if you apply statistics to the number of spaceships that would be built by 10,000. In fact, the number of spaceships that would be built by 10,000 would be the number of planets, say, to begin with in 2 million years. At a much slower rate than we have built airplanes, for example, since we learned how to build them just a few years ago, you'll reach the conclusion that the probable number of spaceships in the galaxy today is of the order of the 33rd power of 10. This actually is a measurable percentage of the total mass of the known galaxy. Drink ńsk Kabba nigh magic yes, they may or may not have hopped off from a planet, but the odds are at least three or four out of one that individual has never set foot on a planet in his life. The only reason he's setting foot on this one is that he thinks maybe he can do a little

good. .. We tend to feel a little feeling of claustrophobia. What people say is, How could

a person live on a ship that was only a few miles in length and maybe a half a mile in diameter, wouldn't he? deltū suffer from claustrophobia. I know people in New York that live in some of the big buildings, the Empire State Building, for example, that haven't been out of the building in months. They have their offices, they have their apartments, there are theaters, there are food supplies, there's everything they need for their life right in that building. Why should they go out on the street? And even the smallest spaceship would be a hundred times bigger than the largest building we have. So why should they feel that much cramped? It's a question of becoming accustomed to that way of life, and when the time comes, we will. But having been accustomed to that way of life, they're going to look down on this planet and they say, oh, those poor primitive people of that planet, they're living down there, they're subject to cyclones, tornadoes, whirlwinds, floods, earthquakes, forest fires, extended droughts, long periods of rain, and they can't

do a thing about it but try to survive. We should go down and live on that. In our spaceships, we control the temperature at all times to a tenth of a degree. We control the barometric pressure to a tenth of a millibar. We control the humidity to a tenth of a percent. We even control the gravity to whatever level we feel is best for the purpose of the moment. Why should we abandon all this comfort and go down and live on that primitive thing? It's liable to erupt under our feet at any moment and spew ashes and gas into the air. The ocean is liable to swing up over the land. No, not at all. Don't worry about being invaded by space beings that want to come here to live. This would vary. Again, we run into the problem that we are trying to get one answer for everything, and I'm sure there's all different levels. For example, Alain, the individual whom I know, has pointed out to me very early when I said something about degree of advancement and so forth. He said, we are well aware of beings who are much farther advanced than we are.

They are much more focused over our position than we are over yours. We are just one step ahead of you, but we know of beings that are so far ahead of us that matter doesn't really mean anything to them to begin with. They have such complete control over matter that it has virtually no significance. They wouldn't even have to have spaceships.
