[00:00] Opening remarks and introduction
The following is a speech by Chan Thomas at the Englewood Unit of Understanding on Saturday, September 30, 1972. Subject, ESP. The need is now. Since his last appearance, Chan Thomas has initiated and taught an extremely popular course in ESP at UCLA's Experimental College. This fall, his class shows promise of having over 200 students. He will explain how ESP works and show the fast-changing character of our society today demands that ESP become a standard means of communication for all of us. We are going to try to have him give us a demonstration of ESP. Dr. Thomas brings with him the credentials of excellence in the profession of engineering. A graduate of Columbia University in 1943, he has spent years in aviation and missile flight tests
as well as research. He served on the technical staff of White Sands Proving Ground and was a project engineer for Bell Aircraft. He has also served as a Washington, D.C. representative for Hughes Aircraft. Since 1961, he has been president of Chan Incorporated, a California corporation dedicated to research in natural sciences. Dr. Thomas's research in cataclysmology has led to breakthroughs in many fields. From space physiology to mythology, oceanography, and even to the scientific analysis and proof of extrasensory perception. It really gives me a bit of a pleasure to introduce our speaker this evening. I've known him and he's been with us before and we've always enjoyed him, Chan Incorporated.
You have a chance. Number 15. Pleasure's mine. We're glad to have you again, Chan. Thank you. Go to it. Well, as I've said before every time I speak to the Understanding Group, I never regard speaking to you as talking to you.
I like to regard it as talking with you because we will be sharing minds with each other. I think mind sharing is one of the greatest privileges the human race has. And we are able to do it on a level. Everything is available with the help of our minds. And we can do it as an organization. That's the best thing you can do for your life. And then we have a question. No.
No. We are able to do anything that no other mammal can do. And let's face it, we're mammals. Tonight I have a very special feeling and it has nothing to do with the subject at hand, really. But there's something that's in my heart I've got to say. When I first came out to California just on business, I was a young engineer with American Airlines back in the 1940s and I was assigned to the Douglas Aircraft Company on the DC-4
and the 950. That's an extra tbsp. Well, you know how it is. the DC-4 and the DC-6 programs for test flight work. I used to be a flight test engineer. And one day I lost my wallet in the street on Sunset and La Brea, and it had $200 in it. And I got it back the next day with all $200 in it.
A very nice lady who lived on June Street found it getting into the cab that I had gotten out of and dropped it as I was getting out and fought off the cab driver who wanted it, took it home. And it was a funny thing. At that time, I was young and single and didn't even know my wife then. I had a picture in it of a girl who was my roller skating partner who was engaged to a Navy boy who was away in the war. And she was rowing a boat.
How many fellows carry a picture of a girl rowing a boat? And the way she checked on whoever tried to get this wallet back, and it was amazing how the word of that wallet got around Los Angeles. She had phone calls from everybody and his cousin. She'd ask everyone, is there a picture of a girl in it? Yes. What's she doing? Well, the answers she got from lying on the beach to standing in front of a doorway
were just all over the place. But I was the only one who said, rowing a boat. Laughter Laughter Laughter Laughter Laughter Laughter
Laughter Laughter Laughter Laughter Laughter Laughter Laughter Laughter
Laughter Laughter Laughter She invited me over to tea at the house, and it wouldn't take five cents. She and her husband had come over here from Hungary without one red cent as refugees. And he was a plastic surgeon. She was an expatriate from the Ballet Russe. And those two had made a life for themselves here, which was nothing short of fantastic,
and they got my wallet back to me. Well, yesterday, I was in a gas station down in Hollywood, in Torrance, and I foolishly left my big black wallet on the fender of my car, with all of my credit cards and everything in it, and drove off. Four hours later, four hours later, a bus driver driving on Hawthorne Boulevard, northbound, saw out of his bus window this wallet, and he stopped and felt he had to get out and pick it up. And he got out and picked it up. And this morning, called me and said, I have your wallet.
And I went over to his house and got the wallet back. You should see what it looks like after four hours of cars riding over it. But I have a very special feeling in my heart for people who do acts of, I hate to say Christian, because that makes it a sectarian. But in the spiritual sense, or in a Christian act. And he's here tonight, Alex Lopez, in the back row. Please stand up left. Now, I don't know what odds there are for anybody in Los Angeles to get two wallets in a row back,
maybe it's years apart, one with $200 in it, and the other with all his credit cards in it. I don't know what the odds are for or against that, but I have a good suspicion. Well, tonight, we're going to talk about... Those of you who saw the notice know that we're going to talk about ESP, the need is now. And incidentally, when that phone rang this morning, I knew it was a man with my wallet. And I picked up the phone and said, hello. And he said, Mr. Emerson. And I knew it was a man with my wallet, because he remembered my address, not my name.
Then he said, well, Mr. Powers. Well, that's my middle name. And finally, he got it right. He said, Mr. Chan. And finally, Mr. Thomas. But I knew before he said it, that that's who it was. And you have these experiences. How many here have had ESP experiences of your own?
How many have not? How many have seen a UFO? How many have not? How many want to? How many want to try? All right, before we're through tonight, we'll tell you all about it. How to go about doing it. And you have no idea.
How closely related UFOs and ESP are, if you haven't indulged in this field before. Oh, incidentally, Barbara brought up about my books. And I promised that I would say something about this. The book, my first book, The Adam and Eve Story, and its supplement, which came out last year, are available in the back. And we'll be covering some of that tonight, because it's all related. And my. My second book, which is out of print, isn't here. My third book, which is coming out in a month, is Body 2, The Incredible World of ESP, is now in galley proofs.
And pre-publication sale is on for $3.35. It'll be in bookstores for $4.95. So that's quite a saving. And the publisher is taking pre-publication orders. And you can sign up back there for them if you want. And look at the galleys if you want to. Just to prove to yourself there is a book. But pre-publicans.
Pre-publication sales already are over 1,000. It's doing quite well. I have the extreme pleasure this summer of teaching a course in ESP at UCLA in their experimental college. And it was eminently successful in that it started out with 100 students and bound up with 100 students. Now, experimental college is odd in that there is no credit for any course. You come if you want, and you stay if you want. You leave if you want. And there are no examinations.
And each course instigator initiates his own course. I was a course instigator, which is an instructor. And you stand on your own merits. They stay if they like you, and they go if they don't. And nobody cares. And I wound up with 100 students at the end of the course. And they've asked me to come back. And my course starts there the week of October 9th.
And they say I'm going to have 200 to 300 in my class. This fall. In a big auditorium. And in the course, we teach how to learn ESP. And this is one thing that we have found. Everyone is born with extrasensory perception. And the job is to recapture it. It's a sense which everyone has.
And our society takes it from us. Now, the question was asked here before. How many here have heard? Let me talk about cataclysmology or cataclysms. How many have not? All right. I'm going to have to cover that subject. Because it's related to what we're going to talk about tonight.
You've all certainly heard of Noah's Flood. And 7,000 years ago, oceanography's hard data tells us. The oceans the world over suddenly rose 200 feet above their existing level. 200 feet higher than they are today. And stay tuned. We stayed there. And gradually, from that time until now, lowered in altitude to their present level of today. If we were to do that today, the only way we know how we could do it would be to melt all of the Antarctic ice cap, 7.2 million cubic miles of ice, all of Greenland, 660,000 cubic miles of ice.
The oceans would go up all over the world 220 feet. Do you know that the first pyramid built in ancient Egypt? The first pyramid built in ancient Egypt. The first pyramid built in ancient Egypt. The first pyramid built in ancient Egypt. The first pyramid built in ancient Egypt. The first pyramid built in ancient Egypt. It's the pyramid of Khufu at Giza.
All the others were built after it as imitations. It is the only one which is geometrically true. It's the only one which is not a tomb. Never was a tomb. And it's the only one with a high water mark on it, 200 feet above sea level. Which means it had to be built before Noah's Flood. And all of the classicists who label it as having been built 6,000 years ago are ignoring the hardcore data of oceanography,
which tells us that that high water mark was put there 7,000 years ago. Now, there's only one way to melt the ice caps. There's not enough energy available anywhere to do it with all of the dust storms and sand storms and volcanic eruptions you can imagine. That won't do it. The only way to do it is to move the ice caps to the equator. And there's only one way to do that since they're landlocked, and that's to shift the entire 60-mile-thick shell of the Earth around its interior.
And we can do it, or nature can do it, because it sits on a molten layer beneath it another 60 miles thick, which serves as a lubricant for the shift to take place. Carbon-14 dating tells us from the Hudson Bay region that the Laurentian Basin ice caps are not going to melt. The ice cap which formed the Laurentian Basin came to an abrupt end 11,500 years ago. And it was an ice cap the same size as Antarctica is today. There's only one way for that to have happened,
and that is for it to have been moved to the equator in its day. And we can go back and find that these things happened 7,000 years ago, 11,500 years ago, 18,500 years ago, 29,000 years ago, 43,750 years ago, and so on and so on. It's not a linear function. It's a helicoid in mathematics, quite a complex function. I could spend the whole evening going through the romantic data that we found with respect to this. I have file cabinets at home full of this,
but that would be specializing in one field, but I don't want to. That's not the main topic for this evening. If you want to pursue this science of cataclysmology, it's all in the internet. You can find the Adam and Eve story, take one of those home with you. You can catch up on that, if you haven't heard me talk about it. Incidentally, I taught a course in cataclysmology at UCLA last spring, and I had a class full of computer analysts, English majors, science majors.
It was amazing who was in my class, and the most intelligent questions they asked. We had a real, to me, it was educational for me, the questions they fired at me to give this course. And in the summer class, by the way, there were post-doctorate students in psychology in my ESP class, and they verified just about everything we had come up with in ESP and argued the case for ESP, which was very amazing to me. Now, we wonder why these cataclysms have anything to do with ESP.
It's because we have uncovered enough data in prehistory to indicate that ESP is a cataclysm. It's because we have uncovered enough data in prehistory to indicate that ESP is a cataclysm. It's because we have uncovered enough data in prehistory to indicate that ESP is a cataclysm. And so we came to the conclusion that there were civilizations of prehistory that were far beyond anything we have dreamt of in our time. The evidence in Tiahuanaco, Peru, the evidence which has just been uncovered by the honorary curator of the Science Museum in Miami
of Atlantis having been a real civilization. He's uncovered things on the floor of the ocean that prove it, off of Bimini. Somebody just sent me the article in the ... a letter this morning, something in a newspaper article. If we look back through our prehistory as taught to us in schools, the new stone age 6,500 years ago, the old stone age 11,500 years ago, these people weren't stupid stone age clods. They were intelligent people who managed to be the fortunate ones who survived these cataclysms, which wipe out all but maybe less than 1% of life on this earth. And they fought the fight for survival afterward, which took brains and had
to resort to stones and skins for tools and clothing. That's what it takes. But now we have lived about 6,970 years since the last one. The previous civilization was only 5,000 years. The one before that was 7,000 years. The one before that was 10,500. The one before that was 10,000 years. The one before that was 10,500. The one before that was 10,500. The one before that was 14,750. The one before that longer. The 5,000 year one was the shortest of all. And the middle of it was the half-life of our universe. And these periods between cataclysms will be getting longer each time. Our period is supposed to be 7,000 years. The next one will be 10,500. Mirror images of the periods before the half-life. Historians will tell you
that the 5,000 year one was the shortest of all. The next one will be 10,500. Mirror images of the 5,000 year period before ours is a period of absolutely no written history anywhere on this planet. None from Egypt. None from India. None from anywhere. And all of the legends which we are told from Greece and Egypt and India spring from the 7,000 year and 10,500 year period before that time. In this light, to me, it's even more amazing that they've lasted through all of this time. The story of Adam and Eve in the Bible, by the way, is actually the story of the cataclysm of 11,500 years ago, which ended the Laurentian Ice Age. And that was an ice age just as much as we live in the Arctic Ice Age today. It's only by virtue of
where the ice cap was that it was called the Laurentian Ice Age. There was no ice cap that covered the whole northern hemisphere as it stands today at all. The Laurentian Ice Cap was just the same size as the Antarctic Ice Cap is today. Now, if we look at what we have done in our civilization with 6,970 years, what have we done? It's only in the past 100 years that any big difference has happened. Let's look at the United States of America 100 years ago. Covered wagons, steam engines, horses and buggies, flying? Who thought of it? Only nuts thought of it. Let's look at the United States of America 50 years ago. The profession of
obstetrician was the lowest of the low in the medical profession at that time. You'd better believe it. Well, suppose we had 10,500 years before the next cataclysm. Instead of 7,000, which is the period of our civilization, the way the mathematics works out. Let's face it. At the rate we're going, we would be in space as normally as we walk around the block. Let's face it. We would have controlled gravity as a means of propulsion. We're this close to it right now. If I have the money to hire the mathematician that I know can do the applied mathematics, I can have a mathematical revolution. That's the answer.
mathematical model of a UFO in five years. We're that close from a viewpoint of our knowledge of particle physics alone. Civilizations which had ten thousand five hundred years, the last one which had ten thousand five hundred years ago, hand down
[20:40] Main address
legends through Valmiki, the Hindu historian, especially, that indeed they did have this means of propulsion. You've heard of Vaimanas? Right out of Valmiki's works. The Rama and Sita story. It's all there, and he was the first man to even think of writing down these legends of India which were handed down for thousands of years. Now, coming to extrasensory perception, which is really not extrasensory perception,
I think a better name for it is extrasensitive perception, or intrasensory perception, perception within the senses. It is nothing more than a means of communication which uses modulated gravitational waves, or modulated gravitational fields, if you will. Let's remember that there is a law in physics which says, very properly,
every particle or body that has mass has its own gravitational field. Every atom in you and me has its own gravitational field. We all have our own sum of all of these gravitational fields, which makes up our mass. And we feel like we're being pulled to the earth because it's so darn much bigger than we are that it's just the controlling force. Now there's another law in physics that says there is no such thing in nature as a pull. A pull, everything which appears to be a pull, is in reality a push.
I'll give you a kitchen example of this. Suppose we had a bottle and we evacuated it, made it a vacuum inside. And we punch a hole in the cork. Air would be sucked in, right? Not right. Air is pushed in by the pressure outside. It's not pulled in by the vacuum inside. So if we approach everything...
every law, everything in nature that appears to be a pull, and look at it from how it could be a push, now, for the first time, we can start understanding gravity. And let's approach it from a viewpoint of particle physics in layman's terms. About a century ago, there was a man by the name of Boltzmann, who came up with some mathematical equations with respect to particles in gases. And he was so right in what he said that his equations hold true. Today. Oh, we know that they're incomplete. But they do cover special cases.
Let's take a cube of gas in this room. We know that there are particles in it. And they're banging into each other all the time. That's why it's a temperature warmer than absolute zero. The temperature is created by these particles bumping into each other. Now Boltzmann said, in effect, if you take all the motions of particles in this cube, in any one direction, no matter what direction,
he didn't care what direction you chose, any direction, he said there are an equal and opposite number of particles moving in the opposite direction. No matter what the direction. And he showed the mathematics of this, and it's true. It's correct. Now we're saying,
there may be, and all the evidence points to it, that there is another particle which there's no way of measuring in physics. The only way we know how to measure, if, is to measure its effects, not if. And this particle is so small, it would be an infinitesimal.
It approaches zero in diameter. It approaches zero mass. It approaches infinity in speed, across the universe in near zero time. And if this kind of a particle exists, then let's add it into this equation of Boltzmann's, and now we have the sum of the particles large enough to collide, plus the particles too small to collide.
An infinitesimal particle is so small, near zero diameter, it'll go through anything without touching a thing. You know how to understand that? If we took the entire steel output in the world, from every steel mill in the world, and took all of the space out of the steel from inside the atoms, you know how much steel would be left?
The solids in steel? About the size of an egg. Of course it would be tons and tons. It would be the center of the earth, like nothing was there stopping it. But that's how much space there is in a solid. Now, the sum of the colliding particles, plus infinitesimals,
equals the sum of the colliding particles, and it's infinitesimals from the other side, in the opposite direction. Now look at it this way. Suppose there's some mechanism inside the earth, that can take particles big enough to collide, with other particles, and break them up into infinitesimal particles,
and radiate them out of the planet. All the way, straight out. So you have an excess of infinitesimals, non-colliding particles, emanating from a planet. Then, to balance the equation, you'd have to have an excess of colliding particles, pressing in.
And that's what keeps you and me on this planet. Particles pushing us toward it, rather than something pulling us into it. Every atom, has this same mechanism, to where it will radiate, I-particles, infinitesimals, whatever you want to call them.
Russian physicists call them imaginaries. They think they are of imaginary mass. I disagree with that, because we have real effects, from these I-particles. So I think they're infinitesimals, not imaginaries. Now,
we're all radiating these I-particles from every atom in our bodies. The very fact that you can take an electroencephalograph of your brain, which is a graph of the electrical current measurement in your mind, shows that the electrons are changing speed in your brain,
as you think. Now you have antennas in each ear, in your equilibrium system. These equilibrium loops, there are two vertical ones, like that, and one horizontal one.
These, in electrical engineers terminology, that's my degree, I am a degreed electrical engineer, these are nothing more than what we call loop antennas. And a loop antenna senses energy going through the loop. So the vertical loops are sensing
horizontal energy, and the horizontal loop is sensing vertical energy. And from a viewpoint of functional physiology, it's very interesting that you only need one to sense vertical energy, and two to sense horizontal energy. It means that there's a lot more energy
vertically available than there is horizontally. Have you ever noticed when you first get up in the morning, you have to sort of adjust yourself just for a fraction of a second maybe, so you get your balance right? When you get up out of bed,
you've been lying down all night? You've reversed the function of these loops. You've got double the loops working on vertical energy, and half the loop working on horizontal energy all night. And you stand up, and they say, oops, I'm going back to the normal function.
It takes just a bit of time for you to regain your proper balance. Notice that next time you get up in the morning. Now suppose these loops, by the way, are there to sense a vertical reference, to provide your equilibrium nervous system with what it needs to provide your body with the coordination
to walk, to just sit in a chair, to raise your arm and just hold it out. You need that reference. Or to move it somewhere else. You need that reference. It's like a vertical gyro in an automatic pilot. You've got to have a sound, stable, vertical reference. Do you know there's nothing in nature,
absolutely nothing, that passes the requirement for the stability that we have to work with other than gravity? It has to be that reference. Now suppose, just for a hypothesis, that gravitational waves arriving horizontally arrive modulated with intelligent information,
like a radio wave can be modulated as we send and receive radio waves. Suppose a gravitational wave arrived. You would receive it in these loops. But in our society, we're not trained to honor that. That's something we can discard and forget. We don't need it.
All we need is a vertical reference. So we don't pay any attention to it at all. And you know that in extrasensory perception, one of the most difficult things is to recognize a received signal as compared to one of your own thoughts. They're almost identical. How many of you have been in a conversation with somebody else
and both of you start saying the same thing at the same time? How many have had that experience? One of you thought it first. One of you thought of it first. But the speed of transmission is so instantaneous, who could tell which one it was? It's almost impossible. All right.
My point in bringing this up is that now we have a concept. We're thinking. Every thought we think is being transmitted. Everything is being transmitted. We're receiving all the time. Why is it we don't know that we're receiving? There's the question of the day, isn't it?
All right. Every child, when he is born, has what I call a body one, a physical body, a body two, which is more popularly known as your astral body. What is this astral body? It's the body which is another separate body made up of these eye particles
gathered in every atom in your body in intelligent form. There's only one way to make a body two, and that's through the process of fertilization, gestation, and birth. It's a natural byproduct of a physical body, and it's your subconscious. Your subconscious is really an entire body.
Now, every child, when he's born, has a connection between his conscious and subconscious, body one, body two, if you will, that is so firm that he doesn't even know there's a difference between the two. The two are operating as one. He is communicating freely, mind to mind,
with the rest of civilization on a level that you and I aren't even dreaming of today. By the time a child is three to six months old, he has a full adult vocabulary in his subconscious, and is communicating back and forth with adults freely. And for the child who has parents and brothers and sisters who talk to him
in adult vocabulary, it's a wonderful thing. By the time that child is ready for school, he's way ahead of his, brothers and sisters in society, who have parents and brothers and sisters who talk to them in so-called baby talk. It just tears their order of intelligence to pieces.
They don't have an orderly vocabulary by the time they get to school, or what have you. But give me any child, any child, by the time he is first exposed to the rule of social maturity in our society, which is,
that the measure of your social maturity is in your ability to hide what is in your mind. That's when he first learns that not only can he sever these two functions, but he must. And that's when his subconscious gets buried. And that's when he learns to lie, cheat, steal, and deceive,
and get away with it. Up till then, he figures everybody's accessible both ways. He has no idea that he can get away with it. Deceiving, or lying, or cheating,
or stealing, or intending to do harm. After that, we have to teach Johnny not to hit his sister over the head with a shovel and what have you, don't we?
That's our society today. So now, we have the one thing we have not been able to define or determine is what this tie is between conscious and subconscious. We just can't do it.
When we first formed this hypothesis back in 1960, we had two teenage children. And we decided the only way to test this hypothesis was to use the equilibrium system because it was the one receiving it. And it's the one controlling the human body.
So if we had some kind of a chart that we could point to with letters and numbers and what have you on it, and have the arm obey the signals received by the equilibrium system that had to do with communication as well as
vertical reference, we might get an indication. Then we decided to go just a step further and make a chart flat and put it on a table and have some kind of a sliding instrument on it
and have the arm push this sliding instrument. Reducing the problem to two dimensions rather than three would make it much easier. It's funny, I'm almost describing
a Ouija board, am I not? I'd never seen a Ouija board before this time. So we devised, now I'd been in communications theory for years as an electrical engineer.
So we devised this chart and tested it and oh, it worked like space. And for two weeks in Easter vacation in 1966, I think it was, or 65,
I've forgotten the year, we trained our two teenage children using this chart just to communicate with. And the sources that were communicating with us staggered the imagination. People who said
they were in other universes, other galaxies, other civilizations, in spaceships, motherships, scout ships. We had organizations of government
and religion and education described to us that just cannot exist on this planet. We probed into organizations of crime using this tool
and uncovered things which no police force would believe. And it didn't work anywhere. After two weeks of this communication, incidentally, these conversations with people
who were millions of light years away had no time lag whatsoever. And yet, if we entered doubt into this, if we tried
to authenticate what we were doing in any way, it jammed the link. This is the most jammable kind of communications there is. It operates
on so much faith. It's appalling. and it makes the things which Jesus said in the Bible about faith far, far more reasonable when you understand some of the things he said. Faith can move mountains. You bet it can in the body-to-world. At the end of this two weeks, our two teenagers were so thoroughly trained that they threw away the chart.
They could talk and think and receive and send faster than they could work the chart. What we had done was to supply them with an external link to supplant the one which had been severed within themselves so they could see what was going on in their own subconscious. And the more they practiced and the more they did it, the easier it came until finally they could sit and talk with each other, each one saying what was in the other one's mind. So we thought, all right, now we've done all this
and we've relied on unproven sources of information for training. Let's see how it applies to a factual link. So I sat myself. I sat myself on down and sent him just the suits and a pack of cards. I figured that the best thing to do was to use the simplest information possible. So we used card suits. 52 out of 52. Imagine that.
The odds against that on a guessing basis are just infinite. They're so big I can't. I think it's one out of, well, roughly it would be one out of 10 to the 52, which is a number, an astronomical number. Well, we have really verified that this communication, the communications up to this point had been valid or they wouldn't have developed their factual means of communication on these links. The sources that we talked to were utterly fantastic.
We talked to spaceships and spaceship people who described their ships and their civilizations to us. We never talked about it much because, especially at that time, you were a real crackpot if you said you had ever communicated with us. It's kind of a source by any means of communication. And today the label still gets put on people who say they communicated this way. And yet what we had done was to find the means for communicating with them, which they use in manufactured means.
They have manufactured equipment to use gravitational mode of communication. Now, how many here have heard of the ray weapon which these ships carry? How many have read of that? There's a ray weapon on these ships, and I've talked to a woman in Dallas who was fired upon by one of these. Now, most of these ray weapons fire on people here on this planet and just leave them a little pile of ashes. But this ray weapon can function in such a way
that if it's fired with enough intensity and a physical object, it will react. It will react. It will react. It will react. It will reduce that object to eye particles, collisionless particles, infinitesimals, or imaginaries, whichever you may choose to believe, and disintegrate this into nothing by our standards
without a whisper of a sound. This woman happened to be driving along a street in Texas, in Dallas, on the outskirts, so there were no houses obstructing her view, and she looked up, and here was this ship. She said about 500 yards away. Traffic all over the place, but she said, and she stopped her car and pulled off the street
and tried to stop other cars and let them, get them to look at this thing. And as she said, as she looked up at it, this was almost like a point source of light above it, shone straight at her. She said it was like looking at the sun. As fast as it went off, it went off. As it came on, it went off. She didn't think anything about it until she got home,
and her skin started to tingle and burn to the extent that it just, just about drove her crazy. And I think it was for a period of three to six months, I've forgotten the figure. She couldn't stand anything touching her skin. She, the only thing she could put on was a very loose, flowing,
flimsy nightgown. And she said one night, in her home, her teenage daughter sat bolt upright in bed and screamed. Her shriek was like bloody murder. She and her husband ran into her daughter's bedroom and she was sitting there with her eyes wide open.
She asked her, what's the matter? Her daughter couldn't answer. She just couldn't talk. But then her mother got the message in her head, get outdoors. So she went outdoors and looked up and here was one of these ships, right above her, 200 feet above her.
And she said a violet, soft, violet light shone down on her. And for the first time, the tingling stopped. And it's never returned. She's been well since that time. So there are a ray and an anti-ray weapon. Valmiki talks about these in his works from the compiling the legends of prehistoric India.
And that weapon in his writings is called the Brahma weapon. When it is space-based. When it's ground-based, it's called Indra's dart. Fascinating thing. And we're that close to knowing how to make that weapon. We're that close to knowing how to make a modulated gravity communication system. Now, you've heard, I'm sure,
the question asked, well, why doesn't one of these land on the White House lawn? And the people get out and say, take me up to your leader. How many have heard that? It's almost standard. You know why not? Because anyone, anyone,
who gets either the communication system or the propulsion system or the ray weapon automatically has the other two. It's a pretty sure bet the communication system will be built first. He automatically has the propulsion system and the ray weapon
if he gets the communication system. Now, our society is predicated on the rule of social maturity at the measure of the rate of growth. And that's the rule of social maturity. The measure of your social maturity and mine is in our ability to hide what's in our mind. Suppose the reverse were to be true.
Suppose that the measure of our social maturity were in our ability to share our mind with our fellow man. That our task was to retain this tie so that our minds were freely open both ways. Who would dare plan a crime and who would dare plan a war? Who would dare intend to do evil
in any way whatsoever? It would be impossible. It would be unthinkable in a brand new sense of the word. Unthinkable, wouldn't it? So anyone who has this propulsion scheme also has the other two. You have to know he does or they do.
And is our society ready yet to be told how to do it? No. There will be no vehicle landing on the White House lawn because we're not ready. Somebody would use it evilly because he could hide what was in his mind.
And that's how they get away with shooting that ray weapon at us. And you better believe they're just people like we are except they have to have this tie. Retained. But they can get away with doing that to us because we're the garbage of the universe.
We're a low civilization that doesn't have this tie. And they can fool around and shoot us and kill us if they want to just like our hunters do to doe in the mountains and the forests. And if any of you have ever seen that, you haven't seen it, you should.
I've seen it. Doe shot where they just can't even be taken out. Where they shouldn't be shot anyway. Doe or buck. Shot just for fun. I've talked to hunters who've been shot by other hunters to get the deer that they were carrying. That's the civilization we live in.
Now you're all acquainted with the rise in crime that's been going on. I'm going to tell you something else. When is the next cataclysm due? Well, if we go by sheer mathematics, it's due in 30 years, about year 2000. 28 years. I don't like that.
I don't think that's good enough. If we go by the 7,000 year period, that's when it is, about year 2000. If we go by Edgar Cayce in 1999. If we go by Nostradamus, all of his predictions end year 2000. But there's something else. I've learned from the past, oh, several years
that the Earth's magnetic field strength, intensity, has been diminishing. And it has gone down 20% in the past 300 years. Now, what does that mean? What causes a cataclysm, what the trigger is, is when our whole solar system enters a magnetic null zone in the galaxy.
Now, these magnetic null zones exist. They're popularly known as magnetic reversals. When we do, we evidently also run into galactic scale asteroid belts and slam into galactic scale asteroids on an unimaginable scale. This is what causes all of the, this is what causes all of the galactic state pockmarks on the moon, on Mars.
They're here on this planet, too, but they all get washed over by the oceans inundating the continents during the cataclysm. We're heading for another null zone. Now, I called up the United States Geological Survey this morning to talk to them about this, see what they had. And they said, yes, all of these figures are correct. It's about 20% in the past 300 years and most
of it has been most recently. We're heading for a reversal at an accelerating rate. I wish I had a blackboard here. I could draw you the curve. Now, if we have the money, which we don't have to do the mathematical research, we could find out precisely where we are on this curve and how much time we have to go. I think this is necessary.
Someday we may get the money to do it. But as we enter this period of decreasing magnetic field strength in the Earth, the criminality of all mammals increases. The backslide is that the backslide, once you read. The person I am addressing... It's the most like M 2 Falcon
was trying to generate in our consciousness. Why was M 2 Falcon so famous? Look, in the early 1960s, I was working on human physiology in space. What happens to a human being if you put him outside the radiation belts in extremely low density magnetic fields between here and the Moon?
I came up with two things. One, all of the proteins, especially, the aromatic proteins The second thing I came up with is that a human being would probably get cancer head to foot in that magnetic field environment. There were two doctors in the Hahnemann Medical College in Philadelphia, one of them Dr. John Van Dyke, who out of curiosity raised mice in that very magnetic field environment in tubes just to see what would happen to the mice.
And lo and behold, 35% of them got visible cancers, and the rest, all of them, in three months, just all of their proteins came apart. The skin came off, the muscles came apart, everything. And the control group, raised in the normal environment, did fine. Well, I took a trip to talk to him because his work verified my theoretical work. And we had a long two-day visit, and I was the first guy to even explain to him why it had happened. It wouldn't have made any sense.
And he told me something that he hadn't put in his report, which I had read. He said, you know, there's one thing that happened to these mice that I just didn't know. I didn't know how to write about. I said, what was that? He said, the onset of criminality in them was frightening. I said, what do you mean? How can you tell a mouse is a criminal? And he said, well, first of all, he said, first of all, they had plenty of food,
all of the food they wanted. We didn't keep this from them. And yet they all became cannibalistic. And second of all, he said, I don't know how you measure rape in mice, he said, but rape was dawn to dusk and beyond. And this is what happened. And this is what happened. This is one of the phenomena that goes with this lowering magnetic field environment.
Now, you'd better believe that the increasing crime rate that we're experiencing in civilization has to do with this lowering magnetic field intensity that the Earth is going into. And it's not going to stay the same. It's not going to get better. It's going to get worse. And that's why I say the need for ESP is now. The only salvation for civilization. The only salvation is for us to advance for once in the field of sociology.
We've advanced technologically so much in the past 100 years, it staggers the imagination. But sooner or later, we're going to have to reverse that rule of social maturity and retain the tie between conscious and subconscious that we're born with and share minds with each other and make crime and intent to do harm absolutely impossible. and share minds with each other and make crime and intent to do harm absolutely impossible. Because it will be self-exposed. We're coming toward that. Now, I promised you something about watching and seeing UFOs, didn't I?
If you learn to communicate this way, and incidentally, my book, Body 2, is a book that teaches you how to learn. If you really want to learn how to do this, it tells you precisely how to do it. Once you do do it, I promise you, you can communicate. Once you do do it, I promise you, you can communicate. Once you do do it, I promise you, you can communicate. Once you do do it, I promise you, you can communicate. In ways with people you don't even dream exist.
And sooner or later, you'll be in communication with a ship, with somebody who says he is in a spaceship. Because this is the mode of communications they have in their equipment. I know so many people who say, Oh, what do I worry about year 2000? I'm not going to even be here. Your body, too, will be, because that's the one that lives on after your conscious body dies. It's only here for less than a tick of a clock. It's a lifetime.
We have so little time to learn in a lifetime what there is to learn. What about your children and your children's children? There are legends, which we must honor, of each time this happens, happening on our planet, of ships coming down and taking people away from this cataclysm. You better believe that they're going to take the ones that are communicating with them first. Because they are the ones who are thinking beyond the rules of social maturity as they exist today. You know how risky it is to talk like this? Sometimes you expect somebody to walk in with a straitjacket and carry you out.
But if you lived through what we lived through in our family, working with ESP since 1965, the most beautiful things happened to you. When we were first learning, I gave a speech in Omaha. And I took the plane home. And I took the plane home. And I took the plane home. Which landed in Denver. And I was reading an attractive magazine article.
So I determined I was going to sit in a seat and just stay there and wait until the ship took off again. When you're learning this, one of the things you learn to do is if you have an impulse that could be a received signal that tells you to do something, you do it. As long as it's reasonable. Do it. Because if you do it, you're honoring a transmitted and received signal which helps you retie this tie that you're trying to retie. Between conscious and subconscious. As we docked in Denver, I had this impulse to go into the terminal.
I didn't know why. But I said, all right, honor that impulse. Put down the magazine. Walked in. I didn't know why. As I got in the terminal, I walked around the terminal. I went straight to the newsstand. I didn't know why.
But I went straight to the newsstand. Magazines, no. Newspapers, no. Books, no. Newspapers, no. As I walked around, I got to the jewelry stand and walked up to it. And this young girl came up to me just as I got to it and said, can I help you? I said, yes, I want that pair of earrings right there.
I didn't even study it. I said, I want that pair of earrings right there. And she said, do you want to look at them? I said, no, I want that pair of earrings right there. So she got it out, and I said, how much are they? What she said staggered me because they were solid gold. So I wrapped them up and paid for them, put them in my pocket, and arrived home in Los Angeles about 5 o'clock. Eleanor met me at the airport, as she always does.
And she said, I hope it's OK with you. I accepted a dinner engagement this evening because I knew you'd be here. I said, fine, because I like parties. As we were dressing for dinner, I said, oh, hey, I forgot. I brought you something. I hope you like it. I threw it to her. And she caught it and opened it.
And she looked at the earrings. She gasped, literally gasped. She said, you know what? I said, what? She said, this afternoon, I got out this necklace. And she got it out and held it up. She said, and I held it up. And that's one that I had given her.
Years before. And she had never worn. It was a little gold chain with a gold bell and a diamond clapper in the bell. And she said, I never wore it because I never had a pair of matching earrings. And I looked at it. And I wished I had a pair of earrings so I could wear it tonight. A pair of earrings that would match it. And do you know the ones I brought home matched it perfectly?
And I asked her, what time was that? She gave me the time. It was right when I was in Denver. And these things. They'll happen to you. And they're beautiful when they happen. I have a whole house full of experiences like this. You have no idea what prayer means in your life.
Because does it work when you understand why it works and how it works? If you pray for material things, forget it. But if you pray for those things in the body too world, strength, wisdom, endurance, perseverance, understanding. They're given you just like that. Whether or not you receive it is up to you. If you ask and then wonder, I wonder if I got it. You won't. You have to have full faith that it's granted because it is.
And the full faith that you receive because you will. There's so many other things that we've had experiences. When I first learned the power of your mind to transmit. Oh, my goodness. I was stationed in Washington. I was stationed in Washington. As Washington representative for Hughes Aircraft Company. And I was living in the Statler Hilton Hotel.
My family was out here. It was pretty lonesome. But I used to go to dinner down in the ballroom where they had a band and a girl singer every night. And they had a little dance floor there. And she'd come out in the middle of the dance floor and sing. And I learned that I could control the whole audience's reaction with my thought transmission. One day I got a surprise call from a buddy of mine, Jim Pope, who was the pilot for the governor of Nebraska. He was in town with the governor.
And he gave me a surprise call. I said, Jim, you want to have some fun tonight? He said, you bet. What is it? I said, all right. This is not. This is quiet fun. You come on down to the hotel.
And let's go to dinner, just the two of us. And I'll show you something. He said, what are you going to show me? I said, I'll show you how one mind can control a whole audience's reaction. He said, okay. I'll be there. So we sat down at this table, little table for two on the edge of the floor. I said, now, look.
This girl comes on three shows. And she sings seven songs. Each show. The same songs each show. Now, the first show, I'm going to put out signals to this audience. On every even-numbered song, it's going to be a real hit. The audience will go through the roof. On every odd-numbered song, dead as a doornail.
No audience reaction like she isn't even there. But the seventh song, we'll send her away with it a success. The last song. So she won't feel too bad. Now, the second one, we'll have all of the odd-numbered ones' successes. Yes! The even-numbered ones, nothing. Just bombs.
The last one, of course, a real success. Send her away feeling good. But now the third one, the third time she comes on, when she's completely confused, we'll have every one aghast her. Every song. The roof's off. Okay? He sat there laughing.
He said, okay. Sure. And you know that every time, every song, every song came away. After a while, he was just incredulous. He said, this is impossible. And the girl knew something. She said, I don't know. I don't know.
I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. And she looked over our table and blinked.
And she couldn't understand these audiences that were so up and down and up and down. But finally the last, the parting shot was to have every number just raise the roof afterward. The audience was just fantastic, terrific. Well, we had the maitre d' get ahold of her after her last show and bring her over the table and sit her down. And she sat. And I told her what went on.
And she said, we're going to have a party. And I said, what? What? What? What? What? What? What?
What? What? What? What? What? What? What? What?
What? What? What? What? What? What? What? What?
What? What? What? What? What? What? What? What?
What? What? What? What? What? What? What? What?
What? What? What? What? What? What? What? What?
What? What? What? but use it. Utterly, utterly fantastic what we can do with our minds. We're just using a fraction of our minds every day of our lives.
Now, some night when you have a Friday or Saturday night free and the whole next day available to rest up in and sleep, here's what you do. Have you ever looked up
and seen twinkling stars? Who hasn't, right? So you look up and you look for twinkling stars and you see a few, that's the night. Some nights there are more than others. More twinkling stars than none.
Some nights there are not many twinkling stars. But go out to the desert. Go out to Table Mountain or Goat Mountain, Table Rock, Giant Rock Airport near there. Take a friend,
your wife, a girlfriend, a boyfriend, and another couple, two couples, if at all possible. Take your sleeping bags with you and pillows and blankets. Be prepared to lie on your back
because if you're going to sit down there, stand down there and look up, you'll get cricks in your neck which will last a week. Lie down on your pillows and look straight up. You'll see this whole heaven unfold before you
in the clear sky of the desert which is getting smoggier every day but at least it's still clear enough to see this. Look up and you'll see some stars twinkling, some not twinkling. Look up and you'll see some stars twinkling,
some not twinkling. Look up and you'll see some stars twinkling. Now, if you look at the twinkling stars, you'll notice a definite pattern. They twinkle in very specific colors. Green, blue,
white, and red. The red is the shortest duration of any of the twinkles. The white is usually the longest. Green and blue are the longest intermittent ones. The white is a real white-white compared to those stars which don't twinkle.
They're sort of a yellow-white. And they're just a steady yellow-white. But you just keep watching. I'll guarantee you that sooner or later you will see one of these stars which is twinkling go zip
and leave a trail and go to a position of a star that isn't twinkling. Now the star that wasn't twinkling is twinkling and the star that was twinkling isn't twinkling. And the first time you see it,
you won't believe it. That's why you need some others with you. Because you'll say, did you see that? Yeah, I saw that. Did you see it? Yeah, I saw it.
And then you begin to realize you're not off your rocker. You saw it.
[01:03:10] Development of the main themes
And you'll see it. You'll see it. All right. So, yeah, where was it? Right there. Yeah, that's right. Right there. You'll agree.
I guarantee you. You'll agree. You saw it. From one position to another. So you keep on looking. Boy, that wakes you up, too. If any of you are groggy, that wipes that out
right then and there. Then you wake up and you watch for more. And you'll see another one. Zip. Another one. Zip. You'll see shooting stars
go right across the sky, sure. But you'll see these zips from one position to another all night. Now, remember, there is just no body in nature that can do this. There is no law in nature
that says a body up there will do it naturally. These have to be controlled vehicles with people in them. Now, whatever you're thinking, if you're going up there, believe me, if when you do this,
you already know how to communicate by these means, by body two means, by ESP, whatever you want to call it, by the means that we teach you how in the book, Body Two.
What a conversation you can have with them. We've done it. It's fantastic. It's wonderful. And for them to know that there's somebody down there intelligently conversing with them
back and forth, there's something for them. So few of this human race on this garbage dump, our planet, can do that. Well, keep looking. One of the things you'll discover
is that in the distance you'll see pairs of what appear to be stars. Sort of like ends of something in between. And these pairs are all over the place. And if you persist
and keep watching, it's almost a certainty that toward dawn you'll see either one star or a pair of these stars slowly move away. Things you thought were just sitting there
like stars all night, they just slowly move away and go away. One night, I took our two teenagers out there. We sat next to this table rock, this goat mountain, I guess they call it.
And we were so tired, we all went to sleep and I woke up and they woke up at the same time. We didn't know what woke us up. But as we looked up, here was a silhouette of a mothership.
And it was so sharp a silhouette, there was no mistaking what it was. Just blanking out the stars above us. Now, I've had people say, oh, that had to be a cloud, you know.
It was too geometrically true to be a cloud. We talked to them, talked back, and held a long conversation with the commander of the ship. And this silhouette got bigger and bigger
and I said, my God, 50,000 people have to be watching this in Los Angeles, you know. This huge silhouette. And yet,
not one word of it. Not one word back here. Not one word. Another time, at sunset, just after the sunset, and it was an orange sky in the west
and the sky above was still blue, I parked my car in front of our house and started walking to the house and here was a silhouette of a mothership
in the sky. And the only reason you could see this silhouette through the haze was that it had evidently lost its propulsion plant, which meant it was like
any other falling body subject to our gravity. And it was coming at us, sideways, a whole side silhouette. And the reason I could tell it was so far away was that the sparks
flying off of it were like Niagara Falls, just flying off as it came down. It was descending, not ascending. The sparks were being left above it.
And they flowed off of it so slowly, so very slowly, it meant that it had to be so far away and so huge. That's the the
the the the the the the the the
the the the the the the the the
the the the the the the the the
the the the the the the the the
the the the the the the the the
the the the the from all of the computations I made later of where the atmosphere had to be,
where it was entering the atmosphere, and the ankle of dispersion from front to rear, and allowance for all the errors in computation and trigonometry and what have you.
It had to be a minimum of 20 miles long and a maximum of 50 miles long. And that time all the switchboards in Los Angeles
lit up. All the police, everybody, thousands of people saw this one. Nobody had anything to say until the next day
Vandenberg Air Force Base issued a statement that it was a missile they had fired. Why was it coming toward me? Why was it
getting bigger? And it was strangely enough the exact same silhouette as the pictures in George Adamski's book.
I had the pleasure of spending a day with him in his apartment. The only conclusion I could draw was that George was two simple-minded
to have dreamt this up. He was too straightforward and simple-minded. I couldn't see how he could have dreamt that up.
If he dreamt it up it was the biggest conspiracy of the century. Anyway, there's the story. The time has come for us to look at ourselves
as a civilization. To retie the tie that we're born with and use this means of communication that God gave every one of us.
We have it. The only people who have it are those we say have it. Those who have ESP. Those are the people who were raised
in an intellectually free environment with oceans of love in the home and understanding and maturity and didn't go to a school
where they were heavily indoctrinated where their minds were subjected to intellectual pressures because those are the forces
that sever the tie between conscious and subconscious. The only other time I've seen anything else work is where a person survived in spite of this
these pressures. Because of his own inner determination. What a human being they grow into being. Full of ESP. There's so much more about this.
If I told you more about it, I'd be giving the full semester course tonight that I give in UCLA. But incidentally, it's all in my book,
the Body 2 book. It's not out yet. It's in pre-publication stage. If you want to learn it, the course is in it, really. It's all there.
And it's Body 2. It sells pre-publication for $3.30 per month. It's a free book. It's free for $3.30 per month. In a month from now, it's going to be in bookstores for $4.95.
So if you want the bargain, sign up for it. It's sold 1,000 at this pre-publication price now. You can see the galley proofs back there. It's been a real
pleasure talking with you. If you want to understand the cataclysms, the whole history of them is in the Adam and Eve story. They're tied all
together. The whole thing is one picture. I want to ride in a UFO someday, don't you? It would be tremendous.
It's not impossible. It's not impossible. If we're that close to building one, I think we're that close to getting a ride in one. It's been wonderful
sharing minds with you tonight, and let's share minds again soon. Thank you very much. Oh, I understand that some people
took tapes here tonight. Would you please raise your hands? Okay. There's a lady here who wants a copy.
A lady in their patriotic dress. Red, white, and blue. Please, one of you talk to her. She wants a copy.
She's willing to buy it from you. Any other questions? You want a copy, too? All right. Incidentally, while
I'm up here, let's have a question. If you have a question, fire away. Yes. We are the killers. Next year, we
expect to put it back in print. It's a book on cancer prevention. If you're interested in the classes at UCLA, call UCLA.
Ask them for experimental college. They'll connect you with the experimental college and ask them about the course. Fine. We don't
have a question and answer. All right. I said it was a, well, I said that there would be no temperature without the molecules
colliding with each other in the movement in a gas, without the particles of the gas colliding with each other. All right. What we're talking
here is chicken and egg, really. You see, there are arguments for both sides. But you're correct. Yes. You can look at it
that way, surely. I'm told that the I'm told by our fearless leader that we should have a break now and come back for questions afterward, okay?
Let's give them a big hand. Between body one and body two, how long does it take? Well, really, it depends on the effort you want to
put in. If you can take a vacation, like an Easter vacation or a summer vacation, when you've got two weeks that you can devote to nothing
else but doing this and eating and sleeping and isolate yourself from society, that's quite an assignment. You stop and think of it.
Become a hermit for two weeks, but not alone. You've got to be with two or three or four of you all together to do this together. It takes at least
two, preferably three, and more preferably four, to do it together. So a family environment is ideal. A family wanting to
re-tie this tie and spending the time together is ideal. That's what we did. There were four of us. Actually, there were six of us, but the two youngest were so
young that they were still tied. They still could communicate this way and all the things that happened to us with them when we realized what they
were doing and how their minds work and how they were communicating with us. Our youngest, who is ten years old this September 27th, at that time was
conversing so with her mind with us that she hardly ever talked. She figured it was enough to think it. It's amazing. Of course, the
fortunate thing was that we understood her. Our next to the youngest used both her voice and her mind. One day, Eleanor was
coming home from the grocery store and Caroline was sitting next to her. That's our next to youngest. Caroline, I think, was about four or
four at the time. Three or four. Eleanor looked up at the porch and noticed Caroline's bicycle sitting on the porch. And Eleanor thought to herself, there's
Caroline's bike. I'll have to have Chan bring it in when he comes home. Caroline said out loud, I'll ask him. These things happen to us all the time.
And you see, without understanding what's going on, you just don't understand these things out of children. A little child has plenty of time to playmates when he's
playing by himself in his room and he's got playmates. They've got names and he's talking about them. You better believe that they're there. These are body twos of
dead children that are there playing with your child. And his connection is still so firm that he actually sees them. Astral bodies in there and they have their
names. They're playing with them. And the parent who says, stop doing that, that's your imagination, they're not there, stop doing that.
All he's doing is forcing the world of sweet conformity on his child. And severing the tie between conscious and subconscious. So if you want to
re-tie the tie, no matter what your age, if you want to do it part-time, it's going to take longer. If you want to do it, it may take years. If you want to do it
full-time, it's going to take years. With a dedication to do it as fast as you can, two weeks, with all of your time exclusively dedicated to that.
Eating, sleeping, and communicating. Eat, sleep, communicate. And that's what it's all about. Believe me, there's enough that you uncover
the first time you start communicating this way, there's enough there to occupy that much of your time. In fact, if you don't watch out, it can become the biggest time waster
in your life. Because you're, oh my. The people who talk to us and told us about buried treasure, go here and go there, and dig here and dig there. And the first thing you
learn is that this body-two world is full of kidders and spoofers and just plain liars. And they capitalize on your gullibility if you let them. They will kid you and
spoof you just to find out how gullible you are. And if you are gullible, then they're after you. I had a woman write me from Ohio, a small town in Ohio, who for
some unknown reason, all of a sudden had her tie between body one and body two retied full-strengthly. Just like that. Peter Herkos had it happen to him when he
fell out of a window in Holland. Same thing. This woman had it retied, and she had no idea what had happened. All of a sudden, everything, everybody
thought was accessible to her. And one thing that happened was a woman in the neighborhood was exposed to her as a criminal and an adulteress.
She had committed murder, and she was stepping out on her husband all the time. And this was so real to this woman. And she tried to get her to convince other
people, her husband, other people, this was happening. And then one by one, everybody else in the neighborhood became a criminal, and adulterers and adulteresses, and
so on. It was just awful. Finally, her family was ready to put her in the nut house. And she heard of me and wrote me a letter and said, help me.
Help me. I need help. Because I know I'm not insane, but I see these things. What's wrong? So I wrote her a letter and explained to her
about the body two world and how gullibility was a weapon that they used against us if we show it. And about a year later, I got another letter
back from her with a hand-carved gold cross she'd made in it, thanking me because she had understood the whole thing and had gone away. Once you lose your
gullibility and you check on them and find out what they're doing, then you straighten out. But don't, please. We had other people, friends of ours, who
all of a sudden were exposed to the because we started them. And oh my gosh, she got into automatic writing and she could sit and write and write and
write everything that came to her head. And oh, they were being sent after treasure and everything under the sun. And I told them, I said, you're going to dig in that yard for ten years
and find nothing. And it's been done. There was one person who was set to digging in his backyard and he dug and dug and dug. He didn't do anything else.
And finally his house was foreclosed on him. And it's laughable, isn't it? But it's cruel. It's too, isn't it? So don't, if you find sources like that, fine.
Use them for communication, but don't be gullible about it. They're there. As long as we live in a world where hiding your thoughts is a norm of society, hiding them and
getting away with it, there are those in the body-to-world who will take advantage of you. We were told, my gosh, the elaborate preparations we were told to make with a camper and guns
and everything under the sun. And go down to Mexico, outside Mexico City, and dig and find specific treasure which was laid out to us, what we would find there.
Do it now, hurry, before they dig the stadium for the Olympics, the Mexican Olympics. That was what we were told. Now, the amazing thing is that they did find things
when they excavated for that stadium. I read about this in an article only about a month ago, the first time, and they found things there. And whether they were
what we were told to find or not, I'm not sure. But, you know, I'm not sure. I'd have to delve further into what they really did find.
But I couldn't see myself. The camper, the guns, and everything going down, protecting us, and digging and digging. Do you ever remember when Jimmy Hoffa was on
trial? This young fellow, 23 years old, came in and shot him right in the stomach. Do you remember that? Here's this young guy at home, 23 years old,
sitting, reading a newspaper, minding his own business, and he gets a voice from above. Shoot Jimmy Hoffa. Now, all it took was some guy sitting at
home, talking to his family, or at a business conference somewhere, saying, I wish somebody would shoot Jimmy Hoffa. That's all it took, because he transmitted
that thought with intensity. And this poor guy sitting at home, 23 years old, got it. Now, you and I are taught, and he was taught, thou shalt not
kill. So what did he do? He went to a store, and he bought a pellet gun. And he went into the courtroom and walked up to Jimmy Hoffa and
shot him right in the stomach with his harmless pellet gun. So he had obeyed the order. He had also obeyed thou shalt not kill. After he shot Jimmy
Hoffa in the stomach with his pellet gun, he was grabbed and seized and stomped on by the guards and darn near killed. And they put him in jail, and all he could
say was, I had a voice from above. Tell me to do it. Nobody understood. Least of all, a judge and a jury and whoever else. And who's coming to
his aid? Anybody who'd come to his aid would be a nut, too, you know? And yet, these are things we understand in this field. Yes?
Do you remember what I said? Communicate freely. If you get a command to do something, fine. Obey it as long as it's reasonable. Remember I said that?
Oh, reasonable by your present standards. I mean, you're not going to go out and shoot Jimmy Hoffa now, are you? Really? Well, if you need
money, you can tell me to tell you what's reasonable. You need help, you know? I don't think you need that kind of help. Yes.
So far, in our experience, children aren't picked on this way. I've never seen it happen. They reserve it for the adults who have messed
up their world. Evidently. Evidently so. Now, our two young children, who in 1965 and 66, they were when we were first doing this, were so
firmly tied in their minds that some of the things they did and told us, they would, for instance, we'd tell them to go to bed, they'd go to bed just like that. They weren't afraid of
the dark. They'd go to bed and it was fun to go to bed. Why? Because all through night they'd see friends. They'd have all night long dreams with
friends, which were actual body to experiences. They'd tell us about them the next day. And the list of names of people would stagger your imagination.
Jean Lafitte, Joan of Arc, the people they had real living adventures with. Julie Andrews. Ours didn't have any. But wait a minute. Now, hold on.
Well, there, now when our, when our older, when our next to the youngest child, Caroline, first went to kindergarten, a child who has a firm tie between body one and body two, when they first start
talking, if you have treated that child properly and talked to it with an adult vocabulary all its life up to that point, it'll start talking in an adult vocabulary to you when it first learns to
physically talk because that it's in its mind, these, this vocabulary. And a child who's communicating this way, it's just amazing. To see the stars in his eyes.
It's just beautiful. I wonder if you remember several years ago, this young girl, two, three years old, who was on the Danny Kaye show, the Christmas show, who sat on his lap and sang
supercalifragilisticexpialidocious and all the time she was just looking at Danny Kaye. Now, a good entertainer like Danny Kaye doesn't hold his hand. He holds his audience by
what he does. He holds his audience because he's putting out the same thought with his subconscious that he's talking. So he's got his audience subconsciously as well as
consciously. A person who can't hold his audience is one who's not putting out the same. He's thinking, what am I going to say next while he's talking about something else?
You know who does that? Dick Cavett. That's why he loses his audience. He's sitting there saying something and thinking, what comes next? You know why Johnny
Carson keeps his audience? Because he's saying simple things and thinking the very same simple things that he's saying at the same time. It's the difference between them.
Now, Danny Kaye was sitting there thinking to her the words of this song and she was looking right in the eye saying supercalifragilisticexpialidocious singing the song. And stars in her eyes.
And what happened? He got thousands of letters saying, have her back, have her back. And what happened? Her mother, who had a frustrated, frustrated theatrical career, put her
through dancing lessons, acting lessons, speech lessons, the adult world, severing body one and body two. And you know what happened? It was in Life magazine.
She rebelled, this child, rebelled against the whole adult world. She refused to dance, refused it, the whole thing. When he had her back, what was she like?
She sat on his lap, no stars in her eyes. Not even interested in playing with what was in her hands. Completely different from the girl that was there before.
And it was a travesty of the adult world that had been forced on this child in the meantime. On our child now, when she first went to kindergarten, stars in her eyes.
Speaking freely, like to Eleanor saying, I'll ask him, when she thought, I'll have Chan bring his bike in. This was commonplace. We were visiting my parents in Cape Cod in
another cottage. We were in another cottage, all six of us having breakfast. We had two older children who were out of college now. And our oldest
daughter, all of us, we all have always had a kid each other and have a lot of fun in our family. And our oldest daughter said some things that we kidded her about, and I guess it upset her a
little bit. And she just clammed up. Stopped talking. And we just kept on talking and joking amongst us. And pretty soon, she joined back in the
conversation again. And Caroline said, you said you weren't going to talk anymore. And Stephanie said, I did not. And Caroline said, oh, yes, you did.
I heard you. And Stephanie said, oh, I thought it. That's exactly what I thought. And Caroline heard her. And this is exactly what happens when you begin to
learn how to do this. A received message appears to you like you are hearing it in your head. In your head. Caroline came back from kindergarten in two weeks
completely severed. Stars out of her eyes. All gone. What happened? Hated the dark. Couldn't stand it. Had to have the light on in the room.
Didn't want to go to bed. No more nice dreams. Nightmares. Utterly. Fantastic. Don't you think I didn't cry? I'm a big man and I
cry. So we knew that we just have to wait until they're in their teenage years. We retie the tie and bring them back when they know the reason behind it. When you see what is
wrought in our civilization in the name of goodness, sometimes it's frightening. Utterly frightening. Any other questions? I talk too much. Yes.
Where's Goat Mountain? It's out near Giant Rock Airport. If you go right out to Well, you can get a map. You belong to the Triple A?
No. You don't. Well, get a friend or join it. Get a map of the region. Ask them where Giant Rock Airport is. All the dirt roads
are on the map and everything. How to get out there. And you go out there and ask them where It's near You know where 29 Palms is?
It's out right near there. And Yuck. Valley. It's out in Yucca. You don't have to go to Table Mountain. You can go
anyplace else. Incidentally, at this time that we went out to Table Mountain or Goat Mountain I guess they call it Table Rock
or I don't know. My son, our son who was then 15 was so fully connected with his conscious and subconscious.
He was the one who would get all the cards. I said, what's poker? What's bridge? We went out to there for the first time.
First time we'd ever seen it. We parked the car at the base of the Table Mountain and we walked around. And he was getting all the messages from past civilizations
and said this was where a city was here before the cataclysm of 11,500 years ago. And this was a spaceport. And if you want to prove it, go.
He was reading all this out just vocally as he received it. He'd read it out. And I would be the transmitter. I would talk back
and answer and then he'd receive. So we served two separate functions. It's much easier that way when you're beginning especially. So he was told
where to go. And we wouldn't hunt. He'd go straight to wherever we had to go. And there was one place where we went where this great big six was in the rock.
And that's where the planets from Saturn, the ships from Saturn were supposed to go. Six planets. And there was another place where there's, you can see this,
there's a huge wall of stone lying on the slope, in the slope of the mountain. And if you look at it, you see it's a, it's not a nature-made wall.
It's a fabricated wall. I've never heard anybody talk about this wall and that there it sits in the ground. A huge thing. Bigger than this floor in this room.
The area. And well, yes, that was the wall on the edge of the city. And do you want to see where the goldsmith's place was? Yeah, sure, okay.
And so we went straight where Jack went and Jack walked straight up and he'd pick up a brick here. There was a brick. Here was a brick. There was another brick.
All over, scattered. And he didn't hunt. He went straight to each one. And he didn't hunt. Each brick had in it little bits of gold. These were bricks
out of the goldsmith's hearth. I've got those at home. Those bricks. And we took them home. And just to us, of course, we understood. We weren't amazed at all. We expected this kind of action.
Once you get into this kind of work, you realize that you expect that sort of thing. Gold there. It's a lot of fun for people who know what they're looking for.
There's supposed to be a hidden gold mine in that table somewhere. Also, we were told that. But we, of course, maybe we were being tested to see how gullible we were
to see if we could spend the next ten years looking for it, you know. We didn't look. Yes? It's ESP in the meantime. And also, they said that they might
be able to find you to give an ESP demonstration and have ready. Well, let's not talk about the demonstration for the time being, okay? I have a reason for that.
First of all, you have to understand communications theory. Communications theory are sound, let's say, really it's not theory at all, it's sound basic rules
for communication. When you communicate with somebody, if you want to call somebody on the phone, you don't just pick up the phone and expect them to be there, do you?
You dial a number, right? And the phone rings, they answer. And you say, is John there? They say, yeah, he's there. So you get John on the phone, and then you say,
John, this is, this is Bill. You identify yourself. Now, what have I done? I've addressed by dialing the number. I've identified who I want to talk to.
I've identified myself, right? Now, if the person you want to talk to doesn't know you, and he doesn't know that you are really who you say you are, he wants some authentication, right?
So you say, well, we got a mutual friend who does so and so and so and so, and he's significant, and he suggested I give you a call about such and such. Well, now the tie-in
between the such and such and the mutual friend gives him some authentication of who you are. Then he'll talk to you, okay? So you have address, identification, authentication involved
in any good communications. Now, you've got jamming involved, too. Anti-jamming. How do you prevent jamming? Self-jamming. All these things which are known techniques of communication.
This is the most
[01:34:10] Questions and closing discussion
jammable means of communication there is. How do you avoid it in this kind of communications? There is only one way. That's to have a good vocabulary. What kind of a vocabulary level do you have?
All right, my first piece of advice to all of you, if you want to, is go down to the store, get the book 30 Days to a More Powerful Vocabulary. In the front of it, there's a vocabulary test,
a very simple one. Take it. Evaluate yourself. Find out where you sit. If you're an A-norm vocabulary, you're fine. You've got no problems. If you're B,
well, not many problems. If you're C or lower, you've got problems. Not only in ESP, but in your everyday life. So the first task you've got is to upgrade your vocabulary. It's very easy.
That's a good book for doing it. It didn't cost you 95 cents for the book. So spend 30 days, 60 days on that, whatever you want to spend. Get another book, Words of Power.
Wilfred Funk wrote these. He's a good man. Increase your vocabulary level. That's the first rule. These are things you can do right now to prepare yourself for good ESP. How does it prevent you from being jammed? When you're transmitting,
you have to have a ready vocabulary of conversation creation in your mind. Everybody has two vocabularies. You can read a book and understand what you're reading. But can you think creatively those words that you understand? Not everybody can.
Usually, that vocabulary is a lower level. Measure yourself. Find out what you've got. If you're not an A student in school, you can bet your teeth you don't have an A-norm vocabulary. They go hand in hand,
whether it's mathematics or whatever subject. So increase your vocabulary level if it needs increasing. Immediate task. If you try to transmit a conversation back and forth with ESP and you're trying to think of words
and you go, uh, and what have you, somebody's going to come in and jam you and bust up your conversation. Guaranteed. Guaranteed. Guaranteed.
So, make sure you have an A-norm vocabulary. And the side benefits are fantastic. You'll find promotions in your job coming faster. It's amazing. Yes. In the body-to-world, let's call it that,
you can learn a full language in a day. If in our civilization we could, the rule were to, name this tie so that each one of us fully conversed mind-to-mind as well as voice-to-ear. We could learn a whole language in less than a week.
Each one of us. Which means that if you converse with another person of a past era who's dead, the chances of his being able to talk in your language are very high. Follow me? I said,
if you talk to somebody who is long, since passed away, you're talking to his body too. And the chances of his being able to talk in your language, no matter what his was when he was alive, are very high.
Because he can learn a whole language in a day. Follow me? You'll find that if you talk to people of past civilizations like Atlantis, or Lemuria, or Mu, or whatever you want to call it, of 12,000 to 25,000 years ago, most all of them liked to talk in prehistoric Mayan, which uses Greek alphabets, both upper and lower case alphabets.
And I can include a chapter on how to learn that language in my book. And to converse with them in that language is very interesting. So I first got onto it by reading Churchward's books. I found out that he summed it up. But what I learned about the language differed a little bit from what he had.
And it's a little bit more refined, but he was sure on the right track. And you can learn that if you want to, but you have to go back to the pre-modern Greek. Alpha is alpa-aha, beta, kama, telta, epsilonum, fethahaha, iota, kapa'a, lambeta, mu. And it reads like a poem if you read it, if you recite it all the way through.
And it tells a story, actually. If you translate from prehistoric Mayan to English, these are a summation of prehistoric Mayan words which tell the story of the cataclysm of 11,500 years ago, of Adam and Eve's time. Oh, that's also in my Adam and Eve story, yeah, that language. So don't worry about language. Just talk in English.
And other civilizations, millions of miles away, can talk in English, too, because they have an instant readout system. Oh, in my class this summer, I had some Japanese students who were here visiting and could hardly speak English. So they talked in Japanese to all these body twos and got Japanese conversation back. Yeah.
Yeah. Yeah. With English characters. Now, I don't understand how they did that, but they did it with English characters. And some of them came to me in just glee because they had done this afterward. Incidentally, some people asked me how much is the tuition
for my course at UCLA. It's a free course. There's no registration. You just walk in. Unless I paid you to come. Wednesday evenings, 7 o'clock. What's that start now? It's the week of October 9th.
You have to call them and ask them about it. How long? Oh, we go as long as we want. It's not, in other words, when we see that we've had enough, we say, well, this is the end. Six weeks, eight weeks, 10 weeks. It all depends on how the class goes. Yes.
What room would you say it was in? We don't know. I don't know yet. It's going to be in some auditorium on UCLA campus. I'll tell you something. You've been asking me about a demonstration, some of you. I used to give a lot of demonstrations on a very simple basis.
I did this on Johnny Carson's show when I was on his show, with Abby Lane and with Ava Gabor. I'm sure most people remember them on those shows more than they remember me. I was on for 50 minutes with Ava Gabor. And what I did was to, by a prearrangement, sent Johnny a very simple instruction to do. A very simple thing to do, like an order, a command.
And I've done this where I've given lectures. I send out an instruction to somebody I pick out in the audience to do. And it's a very simple thing. And 99 times out of 100, they refuse to do it, even though it's a very simple thing, because it seems so absurd to them to do. Of course, Johnny Carson, he's in the business
of doing absurd things, so he did it right away. He got the message and did it. And I've been sending here the same, the same signal to two ladies in this room to see if either one of them would do it. Neither one of them has. And I won't tell you which ladies they are. I'll tell you afterward.
But I'm going to ask a question, because somebody else might have gotten my signal. Has anybody in the last five minutes had the urge just to stand up? Not a soul. Yes? You have. No reason to it, was there?
Absolutely no reason. He got the signal. Now, you see, I shot it. It was that lady in red. Yeah. I usually pick a lady in red. You were in line, I guess, so you got it. Well, what happened to me in Kansas City once,
I was talking to an auditorium full of people. And I picked a lady in red in front and sent her the signal. She just sat there, didn't get up, just like you. But a lady behind her raised her hand. And I said, yes. And she said, Dr. Thomas, I know you've been sending a signal. You've got a signal to this lady in red in front of me to stand up. And I'm sitting here wondering, why doesn't she do it?
That was the most fun I'd ever had out of that one. The room just fell apart, because this was a fantastic verification. Now, I didn't set this up beforehand. I just figured I'd try it tonight. I really didn't send intense signals, as I should have. It was probably my fault. But that shows that you've got a darn good tie to start with.
You've got to have a good tie between body one and body two. You know that? No, not you. Him. Do you know, there's something else here, which is sad. Do you realize that every business conference, every contract negotiation, every sales pitch, every sales resistance attitude, even church relationships,
all depend on the ability of all the participants to hide what is in their mind? Think that over. The success of every contract negotiation is based on the ability of everyone in it to hide what's in his mind. Each one is trying to get what he wants, and he's not going to let them know what he wants or how much he'll give in from that point. He's going to work toward an end without giving away on the way. The forces in society, in business, in business, in business, in business, in business, in business,
in society, in business alone, business management, everyday business, are so much against this re-tying of the tie. It's almost impossible for those of our generation to do it and maintain our present standards of business and church and family relationships. It calls for brand new content. How many wives and husbands are willing to let everything that's in their mind be open book to their partner? How many?
That's an awfully small percentage. It's, in our family, it's just wonderful. We just do it all the time. That's the way it should be. You know, we've been married almost 25 years now. We've never had a fight. Never had a fight. That's the way it should be, really, isn't it?
And that doesn't mean we're not, what's that? Well, you know, as long as you're... As long as you're two adults and can think, and both of us rate A-norm vocabularies, we can express ourselves well. We can communicate with each other well. You're going to have differences of opinion. It's how you resolve them that counts.
You see? Isn't it? And if you start fighting over it, you've already lost. Well, that's what I'm... I'm saying that... Really, what I'm trying to say is that this younger generation today, which is rebelling against us and what we stand for, they're rebelling against the civilization that has brought them more war,
more crime, more narcotics than ever before. Than ever before. More hatred than ever before. And nobody's telling them constructively how to rebel or how to rebel constructively. So they go to drugs. They go to freakouts. They go to Lord knows what.
And this is the constructive way to do it. This is one of the reasons I started giving the course at UCLA. And it's going to go over in spades. Because I'm telling them, revolt, rebel. You bet your life. But do it in a constructive way. Retie your tie between body one and body two and show the older generation.
It can be done. Civilization can survive and will progress. All of our technological progress of the past century means nothing compared to this advancement. Well, here I am sermonizing. I shouldn't do that. Any more questions? One more.
This is the way. This is really the way. And you know, it's interesting. If you go back to the Bible and read everything that Jesus said, it makes sense from this point of view. This is really what he was preaching. And we don't understand it until we try to do it ourselves. And this business about there being only one Son of God is a bunch of hogwash.
You read what John said. Everyone can be a Son of God. Read it. It's in the Bible. And he didn't mean men only either. Well, thanks again for sharing your minds. One question here. Yes.
Well, you first learn this in the Bible. You first learn this ESP. If you want to go to work right away, get a Ouija board. It's really an inadequate thing. But it's the best way. The means I give in Body 2 is the way with a proper communications chart, which you can get with the book. And it's better than a Ouija board.
But if you want to go right now, get a Ouija board, work with it. But remember what I said about addressing. Address like you're talking to. If you say out loud what you think, then what you think is as well organized as what you say. So if you want to talk to Joe Doakes somewhere in mid-Atlantic, address. I want to talk to Joe Doakes in mid-Atlantic. Okay. You've addressed your message.
Then he'll answer you if he's there. Then you carry on your communication with him. Say out loud what you want to transmit by your thought. That organizes what you think, providing you think what you're talking. If you try to think, what am I going to say next while you're saying something? No. You jam yourself.
Think precisely what you say as you say it. Then you can start developing this. You'll find that the sliding thing on the chart will go faster and faster. What's happening? Your tie is getting firmer and firmer the faster this thing goes. Get two of you on it at once, three of you, so that you add strengths. All of you are receiving the same signal. You want to do this?
Don't let your friends know what you're doing. They'll tell you you're crazy. But if you want to do it, make it a personal thing with you and two others in your family, preferably, where you live in a family environment and all of you want to do it together. That's the best way. Yes? Well, you're just about to the stage where you can throw the board away
and just rely on your mind, if that's the case. I've had experience. What's that? Well, I use it. I'll tell you why I use my communications chart. I won't use a Ouija board. You know why? It's got two rows of alphabet letters.
If you want to get to the back row, you've got to cross one row to get to the other. And that jams you. The best one is an ellipse where you don't cross any letters to get to another one. You just travel in between them. See? Now, I use the chart because it actually helps me authenticate what I'm receiving in my mind. And I don't like to use it alone. I like to have Eleanor use it with me because she helps me authenticate.
If we both receive the same thing and don't fight each other on the chart, then we know that we're receiving actually what we are receiving. Well, you're at the stage where you're pretty well reconnected and should trust what you receive. But if you ever want to authenticate it, use the board just to authenticate yourself. You see? I think so. It's supposed to have been yes. Yes.
I know that when I write, many, many times when I write, the best time that I have is between 1 a.m. and 5 a.m. when all the negative minds are asleep. And I'm writing, and boy, I'm receiving. I'm receiving all kinds of things to write. I'm not that creative. No. I just write and write and write, and I know what's coming to my head.
I hear. I really hear a lot of the things that I write. And I can see that this could have been done that way. Oh, we've uncovered crimes and all kinds of it. Remember these two girls in Texas several years ago who were coeds, who were kidnapped and killed and buried in the desert? This is when we first tried to uncover crime. And when they were missing, we talked to them, these two girls.
Yeah, they'd been killed. Yeah, they were buried in the desert. And they described the whole thing to us. We knew the whole description of everything. And where they were dug up and everything answered exactly what we got long before they were found. What a tool for criminology this would be if they had faith enough to use it. Question?
There was a question. Hand up over here. All right. Can't hear you. Oh, gosh. You can talk to them about their ships, their civilization, what's in their ship and how they exist. And then motherships which never land.
It's a self-supporting civilization up there. I really don't know. I really don't know. And I'll tell you why. You better believe there are evil ones up there, too. They come down here and kidnap people and dump them in space just for laughs. It's happened in South America. Do you know that there are 3,000 people a year disappear from this earth
with no explanation? And these are Air Force figures. So I wouldn't just step into any ship that came down. I'd have to be very careful. Yes? How about the lady that was kidnapped, supposedly kidnapped on Sunset Boulevard or on the freeway there downtown? Just disappeared.
Yeah. Don't know what happened to her. Well, we tried to track her down in my class at UCLA this summer. And we got some very, very interesting follow-throughs on that. I don't know how true it was. We haven't been able to authenticate the story. But she was kidnapped by somebody else in another car, a young man, and killed and buried near the foothills of the mountains.
You had a question? This will have to be the last one. Then we go home. Yes? Could be. I don't know enough about it to say authentically. You can read about this in Ufology, I'm sure. Well, we're tired of going home, really.
And it's been wonderful sharing minds with you. About what? Oh, the Russians really aren't as far as we are in just plain communication. The Russians are farther ahead in medicine, in ESP, than we are. I know. Night, all. Thanks, many. .
