[00:00] Opening remarks and introduction

Good evening, ladies and gentlemen. Do you read me out there? Can you hear me okay? Very good. No, leave the recorder off for the moment. Real nice to be out here again, as we say in the saddle, I haven't spoken for a number of years. I withdrew from the UFO field about 1960, maybe a little later, about 61 or 62. I did a couple of TV shows and I did a couple of guest interview shots with people that practically begged me to do it. I felt at the time that I withdrew, back in the 60s, that after about 17 or 18 years in this field at that time, that I had done my job. I had done what I started out to do. I had brought to the attention of people over this country, Canada and Mexico, and many sections of Europe, I had brought the

information as I had found it. I had brought the information as I had found it. I had brought the information as I had found it, and many of my associates. It wasn't all my information. I just want to correct that fallacy there. It was a combination of information for many people throughout the world. Now, in bringing this interest to the public at that time, I had a ball. I had a lot of fun, but at the same time, I had a lot of pressures. Now, these pressures were never brought in the open. Nobody ever told me to stop. Nobody ever walked in and said, this you can't do but I did have pressures. If it was known that I was going to be, for instance, on a TV show or in town to promote a lecture, often I couldn't find a lecture hall, just not available to me. And in

the first few years, I'd say about six or seven years of this field, in this field, I found that I thought this was just happenstance on my part. And then a little later, I found that this just wasn't happenstance. If I came in town, I wouldn't be able to do anything. I wouldn't be able to do anything unannounced. I could get all the lecture halls I wanted. I could get all of the radio and TV time that I wanted to plug my lecture, if no one knew in advance that I was coming. Then I began to say, hmm, the boys that are talking about the three men in black and the pressures against people in this field are very real. So I tried a tricky little thing. I used to tell people, I'm going to be in Seattle on the 15th of so-and-so month, and I'd tell

everybody, and I knew my phone would ring, and I'd tell everybody, and I'd tell everybody, and I'd tell everybody. But my phone was bugged, so I purposely told people over the telephone this. And then I wind up in San Francisco. And it was beautiful. And then when I told everybody in Los Angeles, I'm sorry, I have an engineer's meeting in St. Louis, which I did. And they could check on it, and they found who could get to St. Louis fast enough and still put on a lecture in Los Angeles. Sorry, I can only visit with you in Los Angeles. And then I ducked down to L.A. and said, put on the lecture. And boy, do we have standing room only. Always, when we out-tricked them. Well, after about the third attempt at this,

the Air Force got a little upset. And suddenly in the newspapers, big, broad headlines. There ain't no such thing as flying saucers. Well, it's a little promiscuous for me to say, I did it. But I'm so damn sure that they didn't know where I was going to be next, and they had to shut this off. And they did it that way. It didn't stop me for a long time, because I ducked over to Boston, and I went up to Cape Cod, and I went into Montreal, and they didn't know where I was half the time. My own family didn't know where I was either. They still don't. Anyhow, flying saucers, to me, in 20 years of research, has been a lot of fun, and also a lot of pressure. A great deal of pressure. And the pressures weren't always

from so-called officials. They came from the people and audiences, such as yourself. These pressures weren't always from so-called officials. They came from the people and audiences, and the pressures from people were tremendous. You must put on this lecture. You can't leave us down like this. And the pressures were real strong. If I didn't have a lecture every two weeks in Chicago, in which I had 700, 900, or 1,000 people turn out, if I didn't have that lecture every two weeks or so, I'd start the telephone would just buzz off the wall. I had to dig up some new information for these people. And I have never been one to go out and tell old hat information over and over and over again. Some people in the UFO field,

there's nothing wrong about it. But I personally never like to dish out old hat. I don't like to hear it myself, and I don't like to give it to other people. So tonight, when I talk of some of the experiences in 20 years of research, I'd like to show you some or tell you some things that you may never have heard before from any of the other UFOlogists. Okay? All right. Now, thank you back there. We've heard from the wings. That was a friend. Now, as you know, the title to this lecture is 20 Years of Research in the UFO Field, and What Does the Future Portend? So I'll try to break this down, and if I'm overwhelming you, I will withdraw some of the information that I've got that I intend to give you. But what I

want to do is give you just some of the highlights of what 20 years of research and some of the things that took place. And then we'll go into, chronologically, if we can, we'll go into what I feel, as a personal opinion now, what the future portends in the UFO field, for those of us that are in it and those of us that don't know a thing about it yet. Okay? Now, starting in around 1948, as most of us know that have read anything on the UFO subject, the term flying saucers was coined, not by any one individual, but by the press. It seemed to have started about the time Kenneth Arnold's experience of seeing nine disks over Mount

Chehalis in Washington. I heard I had a telephone call tonight from a friend who stated, this is totally untrue. If you're going to tell the public that again, I'm going to be pretty angry. I was living up in Fresno back in 1945, and the press was calling objects like this flying saucers. So touche. Maybe they were called flying saucers in the biblical era. We don't know. But as far as the general public is concerned, I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know, but I think I'm going to matlink it. Flying saucers really started, the term was coined around 1948. And from that time on, it has gone up and up and up. Now, they're still called that the name has stuck, even though many people call them UFO. Some people call them spaceships, some of them

call them. I mean, everybody's got a different name for them, but flying saucers is not celestial crockery. And this spaceship seems to, after all of these 20 years of research, seems to be a scout-type craft rather than an interplanetary vehicle. Now, I say it seems to be, because some of them also appear to be able to travel interplanetarily. Now, back around 1948, and then up into 50, 51, 52, most of the sightings of UFOs were blobs of bright white light,

very rapidly moving lights. I have a series of photographs which show seven of them going from horizon to horizon. And you can see them zip, zip, zip, going across from horizon to horizon. Now, these were answered off as almost anything. Shooting stars, we call them meteors, or they could have been just optical illusions on the part of people. And then these bright lights were seen getting a little closer to the Earth a few years later. But what many people...

don't know is that the true flying saucer was seen all the way back in the Biblical period and probably before then. Many of the researchers found this out. But this was an attention-getting device on the part, apparently, of an extraterrestrial being to catch the attention of the people on this planet. It caught mine. It caught many of your attentions, no doubt, those of you that have observed something unusual. A few years of this, sight of bright lights, bright lights, we still get them. We're going to have many more of them.

These bright lights today can be mistaken much more easily than they were back 20 years ago. These bright lights can be almost anything. They can be high-altitude cosmic ray research balloons. They can be satellites picking up the rays of the sun. They can be high-flying aircraft that we've got today that they're trying to utilize in the spaceshoots for landing purposes. They can be almost anything. Almost anything. But for those of you that have had a UFO experience,

most of you will know when you do see a UFO, even if it's still a bright light. And there's a rather strange thing that I'll tell you later when we get into communications. I'll tell you a little bit about some of these bright lights and some of their activities when I get into the communications angle of this particular lecture. Now, as the information started to be hassled about by different people all over the planet, they started to argue. They started to argue about what this was. And as late as 1954, and much later than that, but I'm speaking now of my own personal experiences,

but as late as 1954, there were people that were saying, what do you think this is? They didn't dare use the term spaceship, interplanetary vehicle, or possibly people on board. They didn't dare say this. They said, what do you think this is? And if a bold young individual came up and said, well, interplanetary visitor, just casually, they'd just about flip their cotton-picking marbles. They really would.

They'd stand up there and say, hey, this nut believes that stuff. And yet they hadn't stated anything about it. Nobody had made the statement. You go back into the 1897 reports and you find the same thing. Not a word is mentioned about the possibility of this being interplanetary in nature. The life on this earth has been so narrowly brought down to the individualism, they couldn't even conceive anything living anywhere else in the universe, but right here on this little mud and rock habitation we call earth.

These people today still feel the same way. Some of them have gone a little bit further and have stated, well, I do believe there's life somewhere else in the universe. Oh, but it's for people meeting them. It's almost the same as back in the days when we have characters were riding horses and somebody came up with an automobile. And a little later somebody came up with an airplane. Very few people, well, they'd all look up when they saw an airplane go over.

I think I see many people in this audience that remember the day radio was born on this planet. I know I grew up with radio just coming in. TV was talked about by some of us as a possibility in the future. And people over the side say, hey, this guy's got rocks in his head. This was only a few years ago. And yet I was around when radio was born. When TV was born. And at the turn of the century when the airplane came into vogue and the automobile came into vogue.

And my own particular family are related to the development of the automobile. It was often called, and still is in some parts of the world, the auto cycle engine. The four cycle engine that you drive around on today was a development of my own personal family. Now, this brings up another subject in itself. I have found that many of the people in the UFO field have some rather prominent, prominent backgrounds and families like that. One of the most outstanding things I found out in my 20 years of research was this.

That landings and meetings with people from other planets was not new. As recent as 1880, up on the Gatsby Peninsula, the only English-speaking woman in this little town of Port Daniel, she was taken for a ride aboard a large cigar-shaped craft, she and her girlfriend. Now, through the years, this woman died at about 90, I think, some five, six years ago. I just missed meeting her, but I met her grandson. And he was pretty well shook up when he saw the photographs that I was presenting and slides. And the lecture that I presented up in New Brunswick in Canada.

And he came running over to me and told me the entire story that this old gal had told him. That in 1880, a large cigar-shaped craft had landed while they were out picking daisies or something. She, being the only English-speaking woman on the whole entire Gatsby Peninsula at that time, was approached by these people, spoken English to, and she was invited aboard. And when she told her story later, she said, I don't know where they came from. And one of them said, well, did they come from Boston? Which is quite a ways away, see, at that time. Oh, no, much further than Boston.

Did they come from England or Europe? Oh, no, no, much further away than that. But she didn't even know how to tell them where they came from. And then she said, they told me they'd see me again. They told her a lot about life on this planet that she was living in. And she told very little of this to her family because people were laughing at her. And this young man who was a ranger up there was telling me that he said for years he's been trying to find out who made a helicopter before the turn of the century.

Because this thing went right straight up in the air, he said, like that. And he says he thought it must have been a helicopter that somebody was experimenting with at that time. He had no other concept until he heard the lecture that I presented. And then he said, that answers this, this, this, this. All these little things that she had told him, they went into focus when he saw that and heard that lecture. But until that time, the woman had no support. Now, a rather interesting thing, this woman's name was Miss Bebe. B-double-B-E.

Bebe, the great deep sea researcher. And she was related to that family. Now, there's a significance here. It is quite possible, from our research now of 20 years, it is quite possible that many of the people on this planet are more closely related to the visitors that are coming in than even our metaphysicians know or suspect. Do you understand the impact of that?

There's a blood relationship, apparently, between some of these people that are coming here and meeting with other people on the planet. Often it has been asked, well, what's the relationship between these people and the visitors that are coming here? Why did they pick this dope out? We call it, George Adamski's dead. Now we can call him a dope. Is that all right?

All right. Now, why did they pick this dope out? And that could be me, too. But why did they pick him out? No, most of us didn't have an answer. But after 20 years of research, some of us have a pretty good opinion right now, based upon some of the evidences at hand. And that is, they may have been not singled out, per se.

They may have already set this into motion. A few lifetimes back. They might have arranged it, prearranged it. Themselves, the individual. But on an unknowing level, as a child that is born on this planet today, he doesn't know what he did before. He's completely ignorant of it. He may have already said, yeah, what I want to do is get down on that earth that's starting to really develop.

I want to get down there and help these, you know, people up. This may have taken place. It's an opinion. That's all. My own personal opinion. And I'm not alone in that opinion, incidentally. Now, through these 20 years of research, let me tell you some of the things that we found out. Some of those little things that you may not have read about.

Back around 1951, one of the most outstanding cases of a spaceship contact on this planet took place. It was shut up rather rapidly by the press at that time because it was astounding. The steamship Landovery Castle was sailing down the east coast of Africa and off the coast of Madagascar about this point on the planet. Suddenly, a bright speck in space bloomed up into a tremendous white light and it zoomed right down over the ship. It was a large cigar-shaped craft that the reporters claim was four times the size of a spaceship. It was a large cigar-shaped craft that the reporters claim was four times the size of a spaceship. It was a large cigar-shaped craft that the reporters claim was four times the length of the steamship and at least as high as their ship. At least as high, but four times as long.

This large cigar-shaped craft hovered directly over this large steamship of about 10,000 tons and raised it right up out of the water. Not too far, not enough to really scare the people to death, but shook them up pretty well. It lifted it right out of the water. And then let it drop back in again. Hovered there for a few moments and then shot right off into space. Now, the report of the Landovery Castle event has been very rarely told by people. But because right around the same time, there was another sighting over one of the large peaks in Alaska. And an airline pilot had photographed it in color.

And this got a little bit more attention. Then this striking event of a spaceship lifting one of our steamships literally out of the water. Okay, around the same time, in case you don't know it, just about the same time, it was probably a little earlier, there was a fellow in New Jersey who was an aviation editor. And this aviation editor was flying about 5,000 feet over the Morristown Airport, which is 16 miles from New York City, Morristown, New Jersey. And two little pencils of light struck his ship. And his airplane was literally stuck. Set motionless in space.

His engine died. He didn't know what was up. He couldn't fly. He couldn't drop. He couldn't do anything. And when he looked out of the cockpit of his airplane and he noticed these two lights, they were emanating from two saucers. Two distinct flying saucers were up there. And at the moment he realized that these were the cause, these craft were the cause of his predicament.

It was only then that he was released from these two beams of light. And his engine burst back into life again. And he was pretty well shook up. He said in the interim of being stalled up there in space, this man said, I felt like something or somebody was looking at my innermost thoughts. Superimposed literally upon his whole being. He said he also felt at the same time that they were examining every little rivet in that airplane of his. And every little...

Function of the craft he was flying. And then when he got back on the ground, he was pretty well shook up. As he got off out of his ship and he walked over toward the hangar, ran over toward it because he was heading right for the newspaper of which he worked. And in running over there, one of the fellows said, hey, Jansen, you look kind of peaked. You seen one of them there flying saucers? He had no answer to me. Just white faced as all get out. And he ran over to his car.

Went over to the Morristown Daily Record and told his editor at the time, he says. Told his story. The editor sat there and listened intently and he turned to him. He said, look, John. He said, I know you don't drink. He said, I know you're not nuts. But he says, you can't tell the people this. They're not ready for it yet.

He did anyhow. And this fellow lost his standing in his community. Rotten eggs were thrown at he and his children. Windows were broken in his house. People. People from all over this country went on and banged on his door and they figured they could bang on it at any hour of the day or the night to ask him about his experience. And the very first thing these people did when they got out and the door was open was

you're a damn liar. I don't believe you. There ain't no such thing as flying saucers. Now, what did you what happened to you? The fellow says, close the door and says, take a walk. As Joe Pine would say, take a walk. He didn't want to talk with them. He had a run to get away from the people.

And he was warned this would happen by his friends and associates. He says, forget. John, don't tell the public that they just aren't ready for it yet. And then he made a statement. He said, this will change the way of life of everybody on this planet in the future. He didn't know when, but he said this he felt and that there would be complete liaison with people of other planets in the future. The exact date he didn't know.

But in the meantime, he threw away all of his photographs. He threw away everything. He had a little collection he was making on the thing. He took a lot of photographs of these people. He threw that all away. He wanted nothing more to do with it. Strangely enough, John Jansen is the great grandson, I believe, of the Dutch inventor of the telescope. Rather interesting, isn't it?

There may be a tie between these families, a genetic tie between these people who carry some of these names around on the planet today. Okay. So much for those little experiences. There were many, many, many more. But we're just going to jump up through into the period of about 1954. About this time, I was still pinching my arm and say, hey, Otto, you around here yet? You know, some of the things were happening were just bewildering. Some of them were striking, but you couldn't call them flying saucers, per se.

It's very difficult to call every little thing in your life, you know, because you're interested in it, a flying saucer. And I used to caution my people who used to come to my lectures. And when I'd write something on the subject, I'd caution the people to use discretion. Everything that flutters and every leaf that drops is not a flying saucer, necessarily. It may be, too. But use a little discretion. Everybody should do this. Use a little just ordinary common sense and don't plunge into things.

[22:49] Main address

Take it a little slower. And it might be better on you when you do find out the truth of what's going on. Anyhow, about 1954. I was pretty well assured that we had an interplanetary visitor. And I thought it would be very interesting to set up, if we could, a means of communicating with them. Now, I was, in my own mind, I was positive. This is my reality, nobody else's. I was positive that they existed as a people.

How I was positive, I knew nobody else could be told. Nobody. Nobody could be told how positive I really was on this at this time. After all these years, I've been working in the field. But I did decide to put it to the acid test. And I started, and I worked with a light beam transceiver unit. How many of you here have read about the light beam transceiver unit that I designed? Is there anybody here that read about it?

Somebody in the back knows a little bit about it. Very interesting, because in the early days, I used to mention that to lectures, and about 98% of the hands went up. Because they had read about it in Flying Saucer magazines. But it has never, never really made the press. And I used to show on my lectures, I used to show slides of some of the events. I'm going to tell you something about them, and on the artifact counter here, you will see some of the data pertaining to these tests.

But anyhow, I had decided that it would be best to have some means of mechanical communication. Not ESP, as some would call it. Not telepathic. Not telepathic in nature. It had to be something, I felt, that was mechanical, so that I didn't have to go ferreting out the wheat from the chaff. It was bad enough as it was, even with mechanical communication. You have to do almost to go through the same procedure you do with an occult message.

You have to do the same thing. You have to separate the wheat from the chaff, if it's an unknown message. And anyhow, I decided that rather than have some ham operator catch my CQ signal out into space, off of an ordinary ham set, which was illegal. Anyhow, I would design a piece of equipment that only the visitors and I would know about. And only they would communicate back to me on that. It was a real private wire. The private wire was communication on a light beam.

Now, as many people will say, well, it's kind of, you know, this is not new. Otto didn't do anything new there. And I didn't, really. But I didn't know it at the time I developed it and designed this for extraterrestrial communications. At the time I did it, it was new to me. And with the help of a lot of engineers around Chicago, I turned out a beautiful little piece of work that worked.

Did a terrific job. My first communications with visitors was made over the light beam transceiver unit. I transmitted and I received answers. After many, many months of testing of it, of course. But anyhow, people have said, well, what the devil did you use that method for? And as I've already told you, it's illegal to broadcast to an unlicensed and an unknown audience. You can seek you and let anybody come in, but you must have a license to do that. Now, it's just as illegal for an unlicensed operator on our stupid planet,

if I may say this, for them to communicate with us. Illegal. Yes, silly. Stupid more than silly. You know, it isn't even ignorance. It's plain stupidity. Because how do people get along and meet new things

if they're stopped from it by laws beforehand? So, I outfoxed them all again. I probably was a fox at one lifetime, too, because I outfoxed them. I started using a light beam transceiver. Nobody could stop me. And everybody laughed when I did it,

because I did, ha, ha, ha. Some 70,000 or 80,000 angstrom units, way above the frequency of radio. How can anybody communicate on that? And then I found out something interesting. The Germans and the Japs were using lights to communicate on, and their espionage systems had us beaten, so badly, throughout the war,

from the communication lines were being, they're using black light. And nobody knew it, until the close of the war. I found this out myself, after I had designed my own particular light beam transceiver. If you were to look at the German and the Jap designs that they captured, and you look at mine that I got from other means, you'd almost see the same device.

And I knew nothing about their device at all. And do you know very few electronics engineers on the planet, knew? Then suddenly, popular science, I believe it was, come out with a little article about a light beam transceiver with a flashlight. And several other people did. People asked me why I didn't put this into production and sell it. I said, I didn't do it for this.

I didn't set this up to sell. I didn't set it up to make money. I set this thing up to communicate with, and for a specific purpose, that's all. Now go ahead, sell them, build them, make them. Somebody else can patent them. I don't give a damn, because there isn't anything patentable in it as far as I can see.

And I had a lot of fun. I had my first audio responses. I'm not going to play those on tape for you, incidentally. Those audio responses, I will play you something else that was more publicly known. When I tell you about these audio responses that were done strictly by me, and I was out alone either on a mountaintop or on an apartment roof someplace in the country. And sometimes I had some friends around. But we did receive some tremendous answers.

From the visitors at that time. And I use the term now, from now on in, visitors. For people that have come in from other planets and are visiting our planet today. So if you hear me use the term visitors from now on in in the lecture, it means that. Okay. Having these first successes, and it took many, many months, and I can tell you I've sat some very cold nights on some mountaintops in the west here.

I used to come from Chicago and go out here into the mountainous country and sit up there and freeze to death, while listening and transmitting to get an answer from... I was sure they were there. But whether they were picking me up or not, I didn't know. And when I received my first communication from them, I just about flipped. Just about flipped.

Alright. Now, I decided then that it would be real nice if I could get a hold of some real good public radio equipment. And let the public in on this thing. So I couldn't... I would never tell an audience, like I've told you tonight, of my audio responses over my light beam transceiver unit.

It's strictly private data. It wouldn't serve any purpose to sit here and just hassle them out and let you listen through all the crackle and crackle and pip before a word comes through from a visitor. It's tedious. I would be putting you through many of the years I went through. So I decided it would be real nice if we could use a public media for this. Rather unique.

I was doing a guest interview shot with Johnny Desmond. I was running at the time. Saturday, Flying Saucer Review with him on the air. I didn't even have my own TV show at the time. I was just on a guest interview shot. All for free. People thought I was making money hand over fist. It was all for free.

I went on for about a half hour segment with Johnny Desmond in Chicago. I had a call from Jim Mills of WGN in Chicago. And Jim says, Look, I believe there's somebody up there. I says, fine. What do you want to do about it? I was just kidding him. He said, well, I'd like to get him to land.

I said, well, I won't go along on a landing deal. I said, the people aren't ready for that. But I said, I'll tell you what I will do. You set up a communication to them. And let's get an acknowledgement from these people first. Fine, what do I say? You say it. And then call me back and I'll proofread it for you.

And this is exactly what we did. It was all arranged over the telephone. So many people speak of my first communications to visitors. Over a 50,000 watt radio station. They call this Otto's attempt. And Otto's answer in Jingle Bells. That's what it is called. It wasn't my attempt.

And it wasn't my test. Even though I wanted to be there in the studio. I wasn't even in the studio when it took place. But I'm the guy that got the answer. It was rather interesting. We set up in our lab in La Grange, Illinois. Some of our most elaborate equipment. And many of our recorders were hooked up not only to our light beam receiver units.

Which are large parabolic units to pick up anything coming in in light. And transduce it down into audio. We also had the car radios tuned in. And do you know there in that lab we didn't even get a squeak. Now one little peep came out of any of those pieces of elaborate equipment. We had Westinghouse, Halicrafters, Motorola engineers. That were associated with me. All pinned to that particular test that day.

And they thought sure we're going to get something. And not a peep came out. Well we had a big fat zero. And for any of you that have experienced a big fat zero on a real top notch test. You'll know what I mean. When I walked out of that lab and I said well we got a big fat zero. Period. And on the way home I couldn't help but think that I was going to get an answer yet from that test.

Because I had something to do with the communication itself. And this is exactly what happened. When I arrived home. And played my own recording. That had been run. Run off the end. But it was still recording. And it was a long time later.

When I got home and I played that recording. I had a big fat zero on that too. But the telephone was ringing like crazy. I went over to the phone and picked it up. Real snarling. Yeah what do you want. And the party says. You can't fool people like this.

With your jingle bells on the air. And so forth and so on. I said you heard something. And then I found out who was calling. An individual whom I had called after the show had started. I had a hunch. Only a hunch. Call it what you want.

The metaphysicians might say I had a spiritual message. Maybe I did. But I had a hunch as the show went on the air. To call whomever I could that had a recorder. And tell them to record that show for me. That's all. They wanted to know what it was about. And I said look the show's on.

I haven't got time to tell you. Just tune it in. Hook up your recorder. And I want a recording of it afterwards. And these were the only people I could reach. Everybody else being a Sunday. November 28th 1954. Everybody was away to church.

Or out for the weekend. Or gone someplace. Except this one group of people at home. And these are the people bawling me out of what they'd heard. I immediately hooked up my recorder. And recorded what you'll hear tonight. I'll record. I'll play you the recording of what we captured.

On that one particular interception. I no sooner hung up the phone after making this recording. Made arrangements to go down and make a real good recording off of it. And I unfortunately told them what I had. Showed them. Because they thought it was just jingle bells. The noise. But when I played it back at half speed to them.

They heard the code on it. And man they just about flipped. About five minutes after that call. I got another call. From about 400 miles north. Up into Wisconsin. And they reported. They too had heard it.

And they played the recording to me over the telephone. It was identical. It's the one I'd heard. And I then hung up the phone. And I'm thinking. Gee. Something is coming in. But why would it come all scattered around like that?

Why didn't we get it at the lab? And then what happened? Another telephone call. The ground observer court chief. Of Rockford, Illinois. 90 miles to the west. Had heard it too. But unfortunately.

He didn't hear it. And then what happened? Another telephone call. The ground observer court chief. Of Rockford, Illinois. 90 miles to the west. Had heard it too. But unfortunately.

He didn't hear it. And then what happened? Another telephone call. The ground observer court chief. Of Rockford, Illinois. Had heard it too. But unfortunately. He did not have his recorder.

I played it for him over the phone. He says. I can't be sure. But it sounds very, very much like the same thing he had heard over the precise 15 second listening period we had. And then I get another call from down in Ohio. Way down in Ohio. About another 400 or 500 miles away.

So it indicated that these visitors could answer. But to make it really tricky. They spotted it in a 400 mile radius. It couldn't possibly have been rigged by me. This is why they did it that way. Had we brought this out of our own lab down there in La Grange. We would have been accused of having made it or dubbed it in. We were accused of this anyhow.

But when the other data came out as to the different people that heard in different parts of the country. It was known. Definitely. We had. There was no tampering with this. In fact. The FCC got into the picture and said.

Ordered us to cease and desist playing this over the air. Which we did. I played it over Johnny Desmond's TV. Show. And we played it over radio. And then the strangest thing happened the next week. We were getting a radio signal coming in at about 5 to 50 million watts. And 1 million watt transmitter is the largest transmitter that has developed at this.

At that time on this planet. They call it the Jim Crick Valley Station for ship to shore. It has a million watts of power for transmission. We were getting 5 to 50 million watt transmission of my own coded data. Coming back into us and flooding the entire Midwest and East. It blocked all radio and TV. The indication was that these people upstairs saw the reaction to this. And heard all of the arguments and the pros and cons that this is what they want.

They call it 10.8 mega cycle. Let's give them 10.8 mega cycle. And man did they pour that back to us. They blocked all the radio throughout the Midwest and into the East. And I don't know how far West. This went on for a week. And we were measuring the signal strength coming in. And of our own code being piped back to the signal strength showed 5 to 50 million watts.

And we only had a million watt transmitter on the planet. Now if this doesn't indicate to some degree that we had something authentic. Well many people said that eat it. But I have never tried to eat tape. So I don't want to start now. So this was one of the first tests. Then the next thing that happened was. We put it through the 10.

Because it was being accused of being 10.8 mega cycle. We put it through 10.8. 10.8 frequency readings as they do in transducing this material on teletype. We got random reading noise random noise. It was not 10.8. So we tried every other frequency in the band that it could possibly have been. Couldn't get any reading off it. Then we took the dead dad debts and we tried to break them down.

They're not uniform enough to break down. What we didn't know was that our national security agency moved in on the picture as soon as it happened. And they went to the people as soon as they found out who had made a copy of this. They didn't know it. But their only copy that they had was one I made for them. I had the originals. I still hold the originals.

And I've never allowed this to be known to other people that they only had a copy. And so when then our national intelligence picked up this particular copy all they had was a copy. And they went to work on it. Incidentally for the name of the man he was launched the milk Walker. And he's supposed to be counterintelligence. Of what? The.

Department who the hell knows. And who cares. You know. Because they're not going to tell us what they found out or what they didn't find out. In fact they deny ever having had it or ever having heard of it or ever having seen it. This is what they do regularly. You ask them anything. That can be validly stated by me or by anybody else.

And if it deals with flying saucers look never heard of the guy he's a fraud. That's all. Never heard. Incidentally while talking of this it was rather interesting I was sponsoring Dan Fry in Chicago and Dan came in he says John you're going to need this and he had me a whole sheaf of papers photos that's documents so far as I don't need that crap I know you Dan I take your word and the public will have to take it for what it's worth let them form their own conclusion.

He's all but you're going to need this. So I shoved it in the file and forgot about it. It was just before lecture time and I had a very irate telephone caller from Milwaukee call me. How dare you to a sponsor a nut like that on the air and I says not he's not not he never even worked at White Sands so I have contacted them I've been on the telephone to those people out there he never even worked there as when you come down to the lecture let me show you some documents I pulled out these papers that Dan showed me the photocopies

of his work slips and sheets of when he was there and his employment status but they state never heard of the man. That's easy you know it's very easy if you want to shut off somebody in our communication system in our country. Never heard of him and if he's the higher the official that says never heard of him the more people believe it the smaller the official says never heard of him the less you believe it but the higher he is the more people believe it is stupid but that's what people do and I maintain folks it's time that all of you performed your own evaluations

from your own reality level and don't look for some highly touted character including me. I'm not here to prove a thing to you you can take it or leave it doesn't make any difference to me and when we get the question answer period I want you to remember that I didn't come here to prove a thing to you okay. Proofs are nebulous anyhow we can fake all the proofs you want it's those that are really true that are real. I'm not here to prove a thing to you or what count okay.

On the after after that first test we had a tremendous a lot of fun with it and it was pretty shocking some of my friends who used to be within Fort Monmouth said Otto you really got something there we couldn't believe it at first we thought somebody was pulling your leg but man you've got something there we've tried everything in the book and we cannot crack this any way at all. And then we started to look at the preciseness of the message. And in a few moments I'm going to play that for you the preciseness of the message was this and keep this in mind now because when you hear it all of this is on the tape and

it can be timed by your own watches if you want Jim Mills had read the message over the air that in the interests of all mankind everywhere we would like an acknowledging communication from visitors who may be abounding our earth aboard flying saucers I'm just giving you the title. I'm just giving you the top of the message this is the gist of the whole message now at precisely and the time is stated we will have a listening period in which the transmitter is shut off the carrier is left on. But the transmitter is shut off I'm talking here over microphone when the transmitter

is off it's just like that it is off so no noise at all can come from the studio that's what was done. But the carrier was still on our amplifiers still on in here even though I'm talking to you plainly in the room without any audio now you hear me over the PA system so at this precise listening period there is going to be a half let me see there was supposed to be a half a minute 30 seconds was the original agreement on the part of Jim Mills 30 a half a minute 30 seconds is an interminable period to keep a carrier silent. 30 seconds is an interminable period to keep a carrier silent.

over radio or TV it seems short to us what's a half a minute but a half a minute on the air just dead with nothing just cone sound nothing coming out at all is an interminable period and Jim got a little shook up on this so he cut it to 15 seconds which is rather unique and cutting that to 15 seconds any message that comes through what in the world could anybody say. 15 seconds. seconds how many words can you get out and what could you say is a sensible and intelligent answer to our very as we think uh important request so we got back a multiplex five channels of code

all jammed together pouring in almost like what we call radio facsimile when radio pictures are transmitted you get a like that on shortwave we got a very high speed code compacted into five channels we have a tremendous message there that has never been translated to date known to me at least and one of these days somebody's going to come along and crack that very simply but the time is not right yet so i'm going to play you what was intercepted and received now in the checking of the code we got a very high speed code compacted into five channels we got a very high speed code it was a precise 15 seconds precise right to the split second as we'd requested it as it was done over the tv or over the radio station it was precise and here's how precise it was when jim

mills had had said come in outer space which you'll hear there was a four second com lag com lag means communication lag four seconds of complete silence with no response coming in and in that four seconds suddenly the visitors come in with the code and for 15 seconds now visualize if you will the four second com lag and then there's 15 seconds of code now jim mills doesn't know this is going on so at the 15 second period he doesn't know there's a four second com lag but jim mills after his 15 second period is upset and that is all we have tried to communicate with visitors from outer space etc etc etc if you heard anything about the four second com lag anything drop me a card or a postcard or what have you to this station jim mills wgn chicago now

in doing this there's what comes in on the tape there's the four second lag there's a 15 precise seconds of code and they had beautifully cut out all audio that jim mills had come in on which would have been in that four seconds four seconds that code is just as clear right up to the end but they had his audio coming out over the air completely chopped in each one of those instances that we've checked the tapes against so unique that you and i can't even do it none of our finest lab technicians in the world can do something like this cut another man's audio so precisely you'll get the two get together and a very heavy uh shall we say output station can overwhelm us a weaker station a two

million watt station can wipe out the one million watt and you'll hear the two of them going together but the stronger one will be hurted you don't hear anything on here in that four second period near the end which you should have heard some of jim mills words we didn't find this for months later just another little hook to hang it on that you couldn't disprove it is something just couldn't be done and then it was rather unique too we started then to look into the details of whether this in the message there are three distinct ships involved in a three different all the same message but three different sources come in you'll hear them change and the whole message is that there are three different

spaceships and the whole thing changes a whole octave in tone it goes up and then it drops back there is apparently three different spaceships involved in the answering of this message and there was a four second lag because we feel we all got together on this thing and we felt that before any extraterrestrial has the right to communicate with no matter who is asking for it on this planet earth as they're moving around here they got to get an okay from their headquarters and okay that message was first relayed from the moon base that's how long it takes two seconds up and two seconds back that was the four second lag they relayed this through a spaceship up there and

it came back through the spaceships and was pushed out to us and it hit these respective places in the on the on the planet rather than blanketing the entire am broadcast band that we were working and this again is for a purpose not all ears are ready for this data cast your girls before swine you know careful lest they turn around you remember that in the bible this is gone on in the ufo field this again is what we also found in twenty years of research you don't go ahead and tell these little gems of information to people who aren't ready for it if you do you must be prepared to take the consequences for having done it keep that in mind all of you i received a

direct communication from these people direct communication and i was to use a term sorry to swear i was bitching like hell i was mad i was downright mad because every time i go out i needed more tangible data and i was on the air i was over w r in new york my friends were sitting down there and they said hey he's talking to them

i was i said look i don't care whether these chips flying if they hit you boys is too bad you caused it you know blame it on them blame it on them we want some tangible solid date and if we haven't got it we've got a city and make up the stories kind of stupid isn't it dunnobread literally knocked out the sound proof radio studio

w-o-r fifty thousand what's again i had it a beam shut down any and the words hit into me it probably hurt harry talking about how that the auditories have been wooden spoken to nobody on board that shift okay i was sitting in this radio studio you emptying to them that mntr

mntr mntr Suddenly, pow. And you know what the words were? How many would you like to hear the words that I got? What is it you wish we are here to serve? Not angry. Not nasty.

Not mad. Not as mad as I was. You get it? What is it you wish we are here to serve? Simple. I go, duh. You know, what do I do now? I got my answer.

You know, no code. Nothing. I'll just plain write out there in English, in the English language. Well, I then started to set my program as to what I wanted. I decided this is what these people are willing to do. They're willing to communicate. Fine. I knew this already.

But I was beefing, as we all can do when we're in a task or doing something. Well, anyhow, I then set up another test. First of all, jumping ahead a little myself, the second test was almost a year later. Over a 50,000-watt radio station. It was over KFI here in Los Angeles. And I put on this test over Ben Hunter's show. The visitors and answers shook up the entire western seaboard here,

as far east as Kansas, north up into Alaska, and south into Panama and Mexico. Calls were coming into that station of what they had intercepted during the message relay time. I have never even had a copy of the coded responses that poured into the station that night. Nobody has seen fit to send me one, so to hell with it. It is merely a test that did happen,

but I don't have any documentation of it other than it did take place. Then come the third test, though, a year after that. Approximately one year after that. Now, mind you, these are a year apart, these big public tests. I have many little tests in between. Some of them are quite striking. But the big public ones where everybody could hear about them, on 50,000-watt outlet stations.

I was on WOR in New York on January 10, 1990, in 1957. I was called to New York to expose a fraud in the UFO field. I didn't like this job. I figured if there's frauds around, let them function. That's not my job. You know, let them go ahead and spill their beans. The truth will be out, and the fraud will be out.

I don't have to do anything about it. But the clubs in New York begged me to come to New York and sort of expose this alleged fraud. So I flew at their expense to New York. And when I'm on my way in, I pick up a magazine article on the United Airlines, and I say, friends, I picked up a magazine article in there that said, preconceived opinions and how they hurt mankind.

So I read this, and I says, wow, this is for me. I'm going in here to New York to expose an alleged fraud, and I'm going in full esteem and fire to expose somebody. Maybe he isn't as wrong as people think he is. And maybe I'll only be hurting myself. So I took a completely different track when I was called in on WOR, and they said, well, what do you think of so-and-so man?

I said, you fellows have me at a disadvantage. You know this man for years, and I just come in town. I haven't even met him, and you ask me my opinion? I said, is this the way we conduct a research? And they just about flipped. They thought, sure, I'm going to go on their bandwagon and knock him. And then I found out.

I put on another test because I was requested to. And guess who got the answer on that message? The man I came to expose. He got the really authentic message in answer that I got from these people, another coded message. There were others who had it, too. But this man had the actual message right there for me. Hand it to me.

Just like that. This is for you. And this is the man I came to expose. So be careful when you're out to expose somebody whom you have been told or you think is phony. He may not be. It may be the very real thing, the thing that you've been looking for all your life might be right there.

So don't move too fast in that direction of exposing another one's reality. Because his reality may be very, very, very keen. Yours isn't there yet. Fine. Hang it on a hook. It'll unravel eventually.

OK? All right. Now, so much on the communications. And would you like to hear that tape right now? The hands of people like to hear that. OK? I'll put that on right away then. And while it's warming up, I'll tell you something more.

I would like to say, folks, that while this is warming up, it takes a little while to warm. I don't have a switch on the set. And I have to plug it in that way. And. There's an artifact table up here. In the 20 years of research, we've also collected a lot of space junk, if you will.

We've also collected some rather unique and interesting things. Like I said, if I'm not overwhelming you too much with this data, I will then like you to see. And I'll tell you something about it before you do. See some of the things I've put on the table out here before you. And you can look at it. But don't handle it, please, when you do look at that.

Do not handle them, because they're very rare and they're getting scarcer all the time. Used to have a lot of them. Used to have a lot of them at one time. And now they're getting very scarce. But I'll tell you about that after we run this communication tape through, OK? Words preceding that.

On all the blank tapes, it didn't have any number of words preceding it. But they cut his words out completely right until they finished their 15-second answer. I'll play the song a little further and show you what that goes into half speed. I might have to replay it. I'm not sure.

I'll play that through again now for you in half speed. And you can get a more distinct playing. The next one that you hear there is actually 160 at this speed, and it's rather unique. When people contacted me and told me that that turned out to be one-eighth beat oriental music, something that's very rare and unusual on the planet. They don't even know where it originated.

One-eighth beat oriental music is what it turns out to be when played. Attention, space and heavens. Open your doors when you're aware of what you're watching. That slide and skid that you hear is a heterodyning, but it changes a whole octave. Normally in communications, when you do get a heterodyning, something like that, you don't get a whole octave,

beautiful change, up and back. This indicates the different shifts that were involved and the transfer. The same message, but coming from different shifts. I'll play the other one for you. There's a number of different coded bits of data on here. Some of it actual words of the visitors, but it takes a little too long.

I didn't edit it down so that you could hear it. But sometime in the future, in fact, I'll make an announcement right here tonight. And that is, for those people that are interested in copies of this tape, I've never thought of moving it out. But seeing it has never really gotten the publicity that it deserves, and people haven't had a chance

to listen to it and submit their opinions on it, I would like to say that at this time, I would be interested in preparing some five-inch reels with some rather compact series of these messages that I received. And I may even put some of the audio on these tapes. And for those of you that are interested in them, just leave your name

and address on a piece of paper. Leave it for me, or leave it with a club here, and they'll see that it gets to me, and state whether you're interested in a copy of this. If the interest is high enough, I intend then to make some tapes for the people that are interested, and they will be sold to the people that are interested in them, sold at the cost of what

it cost me to produce them. And they won't be cheap, primarily because I haven't the facilities for real high-speed, production, or to make or cut a disc or a record on them. If there is enough response, and I can't ask for it here in this small audience, but if there's enough response, we might even make some 33 and 1 3rd discs or something on them so they can be played on records.

OK? So you folks, leave your name and address. Those that are interested in copies of these communication tests, there will be a running dialogue by me describing each test and what happens. OK? So leave your name and address if you are interested. Now, so much for communications.

I will say this, though, that the arguments have ranged far and wide about these tests. Many people have said, well, Otto had his friends pipe this stuff in for him someplace. Had a little transmitter on a truck someplace in the neighborhood, and they just piped it through. Well, it's quite true. It could have happened.

Could very well have happened. But it did not happen. This isn't what happened. What happened is as I told it to you. And we didn't even know what we got when we got it. It was rather a shock when we first received it. And then each day, as we got to know that we had something pretty solid there,

it got better and better and better. And pretty soon, I say, hey, boy, this is really something. If somebody told me three, four years ago that I'd be successful in something like this, I'd say they had rocks in their head and I wouldn't even touch it anyhow. It takes too long. But working every day toward this goal, as a goal, it happened.

Now, to say more. Just briefly on communications. In this 20 years of research, again, in the 20 years of research, we have found I am not the only one that has tried to communicate with people of other planets. I'm going to draw to your attention what I found in the research and what many other people must have found, too, had they been really and truly interested.

And that is this, that the people back around 19th century, 1800 and the turn of the century, many people, prominent people on our planet, were interested in communicating with what they thought to be extraterrestrial inhabitants on other planets. Marconi was one of the most outstanding. Marconi in 19, I believe it was 1909,

while in the Mediterranean, and experimenting with his, with telegraphy as such, and radio, they were called Hertzian waves. At that time, Hertz had picked up some data from the great and noble man that made all of our electricity possible to us on this planet today. He's often been called a spaceman, Nikolai Tesla.

Tesla had found Hertzian waves. Now, they were called Hertzian waves because Hertz was handed by Tesla this data, and Hertz then worked with it. And it became radio as we know it today. Now, playing with the same thing, Marconi was playing around out in the Mediterranean. There were no transmitters on the planet at the time.

And he was playing around, and I think it was on 29 meter, on the 29 meter band. He picked up some strange signals, very similar to the signals I'm getting and have been getting. He picked these up. He, in his own reality, was quite sure that he was receiving messages of some sort from an extraterrestrial intelligence.

Now, what his realities were, other than what I've just told you, I don't know because I never knew. Marconi had a chance to meet him, and I turned it down many years ago. Turned it down. Who the hell wants to meet Marconi? I was busy meeting other people and girls and having fun, you know. And I was sailing around the world and having a ball. Who the devil wants to meet Marconi?

I had a chance to meet Tesla, and I turned that down, too. Believe it or not, a buddy says in New York, hey, do you want to meet that guy that was feeding peanuts to the pigeons on Fifth Avenue in New York? And I said, huh? Pigeon food? I can feed pigeons anytime. And he said, that's Tesla.

I said, who's Tesla? I didn't know who he was. I was just like you. I didn't know who he was. And probably worse, I had other interests. But I would give him my right arm to have met Tesla and communicated with him because I know I could have found out things that you haven't even

read today about Tesla. I could have found them out because I can communicate with people. I can hear what they have to say, and I can also speak and tell it to you. It's too bad. I missed it out of my own stupidity. Nobody else's.

I turned it down. Anyhow, around 1923, after receiving probably many, many signals of this kind, Marconi had enlisted the help of a man, a doctor. Can't recall his name at the moment. But he was professor of astronomy at one of our Eastern universities. And this was a professor.

This professor had lobbied in Washington and throughout the world to acquire radio listening silence throughout the world. There were a few transmitters functioning around the world in 1923. And they asked for radio listening silence on, I believe it was 12 o'clock, for five minutes, from 12 to 12.05, every day for about, I think it was three weeks.

They had radio listening silence, which all transmitters the world over went silent for five minutes. Now, mind you, the effort that went on in that period, 1923, every, there were very few to work with then. You didn't have to get out and cajole people to do it. They all said, okay, it's part of the game they went along with. What's five minutes to them?

They probably were off a half hour at a time at different times in the day with broken down transmitters. So they didn't mind five minutes out. They didn't have the hustle and bustle to make a buck that they have today. Five minutes to lose maybe a half a million dollars in sales, they might think, on the commercial. So then they didn't have that problem.

Anyhow, they were able to get out of the world. Now, the radio transmitters of the world all agreed that they would hold radio listening silence. And for that period of five minutes, this went on for a period of weeks. And then all of a sudden, WOR of all radio stations, the one I went on, WOR, which was then a New Jersey station, not rated at New York, the WOR station

and the newspaper clipping is right there for you to read. It's not too easy. It's a photocopy of it. They picked up some radio signals. And these radio signals, rather uniquely enough, were photographed. And the photographing of these radio signals was something brand new.

Somebody in Washington had developed a means of photographing radio telegraphy as such. And radio signals coming in photographed them. And there were a series of faces. Like, we would take a typewriter and pick out a face of a man. You might have seen this done with a typewriter. Make a face of the person. There were a series of faces facing that way and another

series of faces. And the faces facing that way on this film. This is the that came in. And you know, it's very simple. If you or I were to be on a lonely little desert island and we were signaling you to see if there's anybody on the island or above it, around it on the ship, and somebody transmitted a picture like this,

we'd say, hey, there's men there. Simple as that. Men. Mankind is there, too. And this was their answer. And it was ridiculed and popped off. And people said, ha. She couldn't be.

And this was then sent to the Department of, I think, the Department of Standards in Washington, DC. Now, all through the years of UFO research, we have never been able to get copies of this. This has been hidden. Now, maybe in the near future, near future or distant future, we will have some of this brought to our attention. We might see it exposed to us and find out

what they transduced from that. OK, so much for communications. One more thing, and that is this. Is the meeting getting a little, am I dragging that too long? It has been an hour? All right, I'll bring this, shorten it up just a little for you, OK? Now, it's rather unique in that through the years

we found in the bright flying lights some rather interesting things. And that is, often these lights will move. And for an interesting reason. If you're a person who is truly interested in a UFO and trying to find out or get some information, these people upstairs aboard craft will indicate with sort of a symbolic type of message,

they'll indicate what they want you to know. And it's rather interesting that one night in Chicago, not too long ago, I was telling this young fellow, electronics engineer's son, he wasn't interested a few years back, but he is now, extremely interested. And he's becoming an electronics engineer. And he said, Dad's been telling me about some of the things you've been doing.

He says, I wonder if we could go out and do it now. It's 2.30 in the morning. And so I step out in the yard with him. I said, certainly, let's go. Pull out the light beam, did upstairs. About five seconds later, what appeared to be a shooting star, as many of you would call it, or a meteor seemed to come in.

It wasn't, though, because it stopped right overhead, right over the yard. And he says, hey, it really works, doesn't it? Five seconds after you get out there with that light and these guys come in, are you satisfied? And he says, well, yeah. I said, well, don't be. I said, they're merely acknowledging.

Now you're going to see the real activity. There's more? I said, certainly. And in come a saucer. This one's hovering there. Another one came in and paused. Then this is only a tension getter now. And then in came another one from another direction.

Now, over here to the northwest, let me see, northeast, that was, is the W configuration in the heavens, called Cassiopeia's chair to the astronomer. And this one saucer looped around right over to Cassiopeia's chair. And then it appeared to disappear at the weak and faint star of the W way on the end. Now, this didn't appear to be much,

other than we knew something was coming up. And then suddenly, that very same craft moved away, very slowly drifted away over through space, away from the W configuration. And it appeared to be that weak little,

[01:09:44] Development of the main themes

faint star had been moving away. It wasn't really. It was the saucer who created the brightness of effect. Now, visualize their control. They can see through our eyes and our minds what they're performing for us. We can't even do this. And yet, there they are performing this whole thing

as a picture for us. And the kid is standing out there, just uglied. And he says, this has happened to you before. He says, you don't get excited about this at all. I said, no, shut up and watch. They're trying to show us something. And I says, after it's all done, then we can yak about it. And it's kind of chilly out there in the yard.

And finally, he says, it looks like that star disappeared. But that can't be. I says, no, it can't be. It just appeared to be that way. I says, OK, what does your dad know? He says, they're telling you something. I says, yeah, but I says, you and your dad are going to be able to help me find out

what they were telling me, because I am not an astronomer. And he says, that's interesting. Dad's got all the books and so on. Let's go in and shake him up. We did. And he refused to tell us what he thought. And so he pulls out the books and showed us the books. And then he admitted the following morning

he would tell us something. He said, if that happened to me and I saw that happen, he would say, I'd say something was happening in our universe in which all of our navigational knowledge is going to go to pot. He said, because that star in the constellation has been used for a zero reference in navigation and in zero reference of time from time immemorial in the effect

that star does move out of that position, mister, we're going to be lost. We won't even know where we are on the planet, let alone in space. This was the message. This is something that may take place in the future. OK? Look, I'm going to cut it real short now by giving you the latter part of what I said I was going to say.

What does the future portend? All right. It'll be very brief, but it is this. The future portends this. As the jokester who told me, I said, many good jokes out the platform gets a large response from his audience, so the UFO will operate. Those little interesting things that have happened from his activities

in the past that drew a lot of attention and drew a lot of attention to the subject will be repeated time and time again. So you will hear of many, many saucer sightings and bright lights and landings. You'll hear of a lot of this. But we're also going to get something else. In the very near future, from my opinion now and my opinion only,

you're going to see, instead of a three-man spaceship landing and meeting a visitor per se, you're going to find two visitors and one Earth man. This is done for liaison purposes. Too many people have been frightened of meeting this, strictly a visitor from another planet, even though he may be mankind. They're scared of him.

But another man who can show a birth certificate of having been born here is going to be in liaison with these men and be able to handle the basic communication line. This is going to take place in the very near future. Some of it has already taken place. Some of this is in the making now, but it takes time for it to build up and to be used. You're going to see many, many landings,

and you're going to hear about them. But I don't believe you're going to hear about them publicly. Again, my opinion and the future and what it portends. You're not going to hear the great big public exposures of Joe Blow, who went on board a spaceship to the planet moon, et cetera, or to the planet Mars. Or to the satellite moon. You're not going to hear this publicly, per se.

I do believe that you're going to hear of it in private little circles, maybe meetings like this. You're going to hear it that way. But you're not going to hear it publicly, spread all over. And it is foolhardy to expect any official pronouncement by any official agency on this subject. Foolhardy. This, from my opinion, will not happen.

Nobody. Nobody in the history of our planet can indicate to me that when the Earth was found to be round instead of flat, that any official agency announced to the world that we were wrong. Gentlemen, it is now round, not flat. Nobody's ever said that. It just became public knowledge.

And then we got into the textbooks as to what it really was. This is what's going to happen in the UFO field, from my viewpoint, again. So don't look to this government of yours to tell you anything. They're not. This is what they want you to know.

It's up to each and every individual to find out for himself and use his own methods of evaluation. Don't rely on the other guy to evaluate it for you. Now, in the future, there is a possibility. Because as I see it, the possibility is going to be this, that there are going to be many people on this planet today that are going to spend their time indoctrinating other people.

This they will be doing. They'll be in complete liaison with visitors. And they're going to have to be new textbooks written. And they're going to have to be a lot of data expressed to people. And the younger people that are on this planet today are going to be living with it. You, the older folks, let the younger people really dig it

out, because they're the people going to be living with it. Now, I'll say something else. Some of the older people on this planet are going to be living with it, too. Because there is some indication that the ability to carry this lifespan and this body on and on in a more perfect condition than it has ever run before is quite conceivable and possible for all of us.

That's about it, I think. And now I want to say, let's have a very short question answer period, if time permits. OK? Your question, son. That was totally incorrect. I was going to make a pun out of it, because I was being ridden there pretty hard.

And I was going to say, yeah, in a dime store. Go on down and touch some of the models. OK. It's OK. I met Lee a number of years ago in this field. And I want to tell you, Lee, and your whole club, it's a pleasure being here tonight. It's kind of nice to be back in the saddle again,

talking for you folks. OK? All right, your questions, please. I'll just pick them out as I see them. Your question, sir, in the front. Are you an engineer, John? Yes, I'm a patent development engineer. Anything more to that question?

It's a highfalutin term. I was asked to explain that. It's a highfalutin term for an inventor. OK? Your question, sir. Normal communication with. Yes, I'll answer that, and I'll try to be brief on it. It's not a brief question, really.

But I would say, when I went out to communicate with these people, I was positive that they were there. Now, where, precisely, I didn't know. Other than if I saw a UFO, I knew there could be a darn good source. But I knew they were out there. And I also accredited them, from some of the experiences I'd had, with being able.

To know a little bit more about us than we know about ourselves. And doing a little bit of research on the human mind and the brain, as I did in communications, I found that we're transmitting signals. And they can pick this signal up very easily if they were looking for it. And I felt if they were interested, all I had to do was to communicate to them.

Just like hollering, CQ on a radio. CQ. This is the request. CQ, come on in. All right, a young fellow asked me from the platform here earlier. He said, well, how do I do this? And I felt, that's fine. I felt that the, I'd rather have it off.

I blew it out. OK? Watch it, I can blow that one, too. And it's rather interesting. The young fellow asked me how he could do this. And he wanted to know how to do it, how to do it. And this is part of the same answer. And I don't like to bring religion into this thing.

I think it's completely separate as a research. But I said, have you ever prayed? Well, yes, he said, yes. I said, to whom? He said, to God. Well, who else? I said, all right, the same method that you use in praying to an unseen, superior intelligence,

a being, as you might consider God to be, or a force that God is, use the same method to communicate to these people. And watch how quick you get an answer. It's rather unique, but it works. But you must be darn sure that you're communicating to someone, and not just some thing. And then after you do get a communication,

I advise all of you, check it out. You don't have to sit there and cross-examine these people. They won't stand to be cross-examined, and they won't listen to any cross-talk about, hey, is Joe right? Has he met with people from another planet, or is he just talking? They won't answer these questions.

You'll have a complete shut-off if you're this kind of a researcher. But if you're seriously interested in communicating with them, they are ready and willing to communicate. Now, some people may not get the communication line across. Some people don't know how to communicate on our planet, one to another. It's quite conceivable that these people

will have a little more difficulty in communicating to them. They're not transmitting as clearly. It's the same thing. But when I say it is similar to prayer, I mean it's similar in this respect. You're asking something or somebody for a communication. This is what you're asking from them.

When you make that communication line, and you've gotten that gap closed, from there on, you're on your own. Then you better be prepared precisely what you want to ask and what you want to know. Then they can answer you. If you're not very precise, they're going to give you just as imprecise communications, too.

OK? Does that answer your question? OK. Just one moment. This fellow over here. That's a good question, son. Sonic booms, they can create these, too, if they want to. But when you take an object that's

traveling through space, where every atom is being activated with whatever propulsion force they're using, and I'm not going to go into detail on that, but when you're activating every molecule on a thing, you're not parting the air, per se. You become a part of that. You're not part of the air. And so that you're not spreading it,

moving it, and creating sonic booms, per se. You don't create a sonic boom when you move your arm very rapidly that way, do you? OK. Every molecule of your body is activated into the motion exactly as a saucer is. It's as simple as it is. Next question.

I don't like to comment on any other group and what they do or their endeavors in any area. I don't like to make a comment of that type. But I did state earlier that I would say something about NICAP, as related to testing of equipment or analyzing. A question was asked on some of these artifacts, had I ever submitted anything or any of these to NICAP? No, none of these have been submitted to NICAP.

And my only reach in this department would be, and it isn't in a derogatory sense, it is merely to say that NICAP, time and again, has had marvelous data in their hands, and they have not known what to do with it. In fact, I had, as an example, and this is not an artifact now, but I had an occasion to acquire a communication

in Mount Clemens, Michigan. I had intended telling you some of the many other tests that I put on, but this one in Mount Clemens, Michigan, was a rather striking communication response. And it was foisted upon me. It was to go on tape on a show of contact tests the following week. And I refused to become a party to it

because I wanted to be right there if a test went out into space at all. Well, apparently, the visitors saw that this could be valuable and wanted to carry it through, because when the man tricked me into the communication line, which was being made on tape, now, mind you, this is not going out over the air. It was being made on tape.

Another show was then being transmitted and broadcast over the air in another soundproof room. So the transmitter was tied up. The visitors didn't use the transmitter. They knew what was going on in that room so beautifully, like they were like a science fiction tale. They were zeroed in, knew what was going on, and when the fellow says,

this must be a superintelligence that you're dealing with that could communicate like that. And I says, yes, it could be called that. And he says, well, if that be the case, and here is the trap, he says, if that be the case, then they could communicate with us right now. And right at that precise moment, they started to cut in with their code

and filled the whole room with the code, and it was on the tape. I immediately took this because there were Air Force men there. There were people from the radio station. It was totally unprepared and unplanned. Nobody planned it at all. It just came out in the comm line.

And I submitted it immediately to Kehoe because Kehoe wanted some definite proof of this taking place. I says, well, here it is. He didn't even come down to listen to it. He heard it over the telephone. He says, yeah, it really is something. And he heard the documented line

of the people involved in the thing, but he wasn't a bit interested. He didn't even have a recorder to play it off. So this is the example. If you take anything to NICAP, it doesn't mean that they're going to be able to actually do anything with it. No, I wouldn't say they had an unprofessional.

They had a very professional attitude. Not necessarily, because if you take a look at most of the professors today, they're totally disinterested. They have a very professional attitude. OK, next question, sir. From what I hear over there, sir, nothing. OK, next question, please. Questions?

Your question, ma'am. The piece of metal nearest to me, that is the one right here in this corner, that came from one of my friends in Winslow, Arizona. And that is not a true UFO artifact as such. This is a meteorite, a piece of the very large Winslow meteorite, the one that left that very large crater in Winslow.

And Nininger gave me that particular piece, a very, very good sample, of an iron-nickel meteorite. And I show that to you and put it out there as just a typical earthly piece of material that has fallen. Meteors, as such, when landed on Earth, become meteorites. Meteorites are sort of stone-like. This is the iron-nickel variety, with several constituents

in it that are not found in normal compositions or metallurgical compositions on Earth. I will say something about some of the other things there. There's some survival food there. For those of you that didn't get a chance to see it or read it, there's some survival food there. And I typed up a little bit of the data from the test lab on it.

That piece that you see, the one and a half pieces, is a potato. It's grown on another body in space other than this planet. That particular potato is in a dehydrated state. And you see one half of a potato and a whole one. Now, the potato itself, in every respect, is like any other Earth potato, standard Earth-sized potato, about so.

When cut, it can be soaked for about four or five hours in water, and it will expand to the full size of the potato. The cells are living. A cut potato, cut in half like that, preserved as it is, can be seeded after a million years of storage. Millions of years, plural, if you will. And it can seed itself, because the cells are not dead. They're held in a state of retarded suspension.

This happens to be a remaining sample of a great many samples of food that I had from space that have been grown on other planets. And I am told that the moon also is a place where things are grown. Whether they're grown in the soil on the moon, I don't know, or grown in hothouses on the moon, I don't know. But I am told, and this is in communications now,

I am told that there are foods grown on the moon. Now, in the meat and the potatoes that are compacted together like a hash, they're shrunken to the same small area and yet expand to the full food like this. And that is of great value. And for those people that think all of these visitors are highly spiritual and don't eat meat,

I have news for you. Some of them do eat meat. And meat and potatoes is compacted as a survival food. I am told also in that bit of information there, in this particular department, that survival foods of this type are on every planet. There's no cost involved in them. But when people traveling between the planets,

and they've used this earth as a way station for many, many centuries, in the ends of time, they've been able to get a lot of these foods all over. And these foods can be picked up by them. They know precisely where they are. And if they need food supplies, they can pick them up anytime they need them. And they replenish the supply when they have them,

just like we used to back in our old ranger days. Now, in this particular potato, just to bring out the points of this potato, which make it different than any other potato, it's dehydrated, true, but the cells are still living. Now. On test. The university tested most of these things

way back around 57, 58. And when Rutgers tested this, they got pretty well shook up with what they found. That has a 15% protein content. Does anybody in this room know the protein content of an earth-grown potato? Does anybody? All right, now, I'm not going to prove it to you.

I'll just tell it to you. The average protein content of an earth-grown potato is 2% to 3% protein. Now, it may go to 7% when grown in a compost bed. Real superior soil. Fine. This potato, looking like any other potato, has 15% protein content, as checked out

by Rutgers University. And I typed up, the photograph is there, of the testing lab in Philadelphia that put the tests on it. Now, this also goes for the milk, the nuts, and the fruits, and the vegetables that were brought to people. And on this planet, we have been submitted this material.

And so here, duplicate it. You're going to need it. They don't tell us why. They say, you're going to need it. That's all. Duplicate it. And they don't give us things on a silver platter. Nothing has been handed to man on a silver platter ever.

And when it is, look out. You get race riots. They'll rend you if you cast your platter. You get pearls before swine. This you can't do. Man has to earn it. Man has to reach out and do things himself. He can't say, Joe, you've got to give it to me.

And this, being your brother's keeper, is a lot of malarkey. We've got a complete other side of this coin that has never been mentioned in this day and age. It has to come out yet. And we'll probably hear of it, probably after some catastrophe somewhere down the line. Then we'll begin to find out.

But just to, if I may, just, if I during this question and answer period, tell you a little bit more about these artifacts. These foods were survival food. They have also given us, and I say they now, visitor, have given to various groups. And I happen to be in on some of this data, as you can see, or I wouldn't have it here to show to you.

They have given us some metals, metallurgical samples that are rather unique. They defy all means of melting and making them run under normal temperature runs that we know. They defy many different things. They're very strong, very tough, very unusual. And I did withdraw one of the samples because it's so tiny, I had to say, why even show it?

So I pulled that slip of paper and shoved it underneath there. And the main reason for that is engineering labs over this entire country have had samples of this metal. And each and every one of them have kept their traps so shut, I haven't even heard what happened to the sample. So I've gotten disgusted and tired of handing out samples. I have these very few, and that's why I don't even want people to touch them anymore, because they

like to pick a piece off. They want a sample of this thing. And when they do, pretty soon I have none, not even to show you. One of those samples on the table there happens to be a very large object that was dropped off of a spaceship, a big, large, molten hunk of metal, as you can see there. And the Earth that was fused to it is on a piece of that.

The Air Force came in some months later and bulldozed even the Earth away to take it away from there. It took several months to cool off. The UFO just came down, hovered over the field, and dropped it off, and then took off. We don't know why. We don't even have the answers to that. But I think it was done for us to play with again.

And hey, look this over. It's rather unique. Now, one more thing in there that I'd like to tell you about. And that is, that bottle and the bottle of crystals next to it is real, real unique and a story in itself. And for those of you that have time for the story, I'll tell you about that after the question and answer period. OK?

All right, no more questions. You've had one. Let me get the man in the back. OK? That's you. I don't have any information at this time on that. But I am told and was told some time back, and this is some time back now, many

of the planets in our solar system are inhabited that have been formerly thought to have been uninhabited. That's all I know about that. Now, which ones, it's anybody's conjecture at this time. I have some more accurate data than that. But I am not at liberty to discuss it at this time, such as naming planets.

I don't feel I want to. By putting names in our solar system, we have a tendency to remember the newspaper reports of just recent newspaper reports of the Russian probe. And I will quote a cartoon that I think answers this somewhat. Here is a cartoon in the newspaper the other day. And the cartoon shows some creatures

sitting around an open barbecue pit on Venus. And up in the tree next to them comes this Russian space chute on this parachute. And it hangs in the tree. And it's right over this open barbecue pit. And all the heat's coming off of the fire. And I said, gee, I hope they really believe it. We can have another 1,000 years of peace if they believe that.

And you know, this may be more truth than the fiction involved. I'll tell you why. There's an indication that some of these visitors have really kept their planet or not properly. There may be another way of doing this. I was also told in one of our communications that when we know more about, and they didn't give us the answer now,

but we were told in one of these communications that when we know more about magnetics, we'll have far greater control over temperatures on our planet. It's simple, isn't it? But here is the clue. And many engineers have heard this. And many engineers are working in that direction now,

looking in a completely different side of the coin to find the answer to handling temperature control. We won't need these heavy compressors to make cold air in your automobile or airplane in the future. I think we're going to have a little capsule and we'll be able to change it and get our temperature. Questions, please?

Yours. All right, go ahead. That's one question. Yes, they could. Oh, you're a cutie, you are. I love you anyhow. Go ahead. Very good point.

This has not been done to my knowledge, yet I know it has been done. But I don't have the results of that. They never have given it to me per se. But I know many people. Many people have been evil, have subjected people to hypnosis to try to get this off there. And a rather unique thing has happened.

Almost like the story we heard, and you heard it with me out at Giant Rock the other night. And this being come out of this rock and he says, the time is not yet, or the time is not right. He's trying to write it. It was blocked. Yes, and yes, to carry this out further, the gentleman had asked that I was probably a little rude

and I apologize, OK, to him. But this is quite true. That it is put there for us to reach for rather than just on a silver platter. Visualize all of you, if you will. Supposing, I still wouldn't even believe it today. I personally would not believe this had they come through and said, hello, John Otto, this is Space Visitor X234567

calling from a spaceship. And we answer you. We acknowledge you. I would have said, what a lot of garbage. And I would have thrown the thing out and never even listened to it or looked at it. I couldn't have believed it. But being code.

It drew our attention. It also drew communication engineers' attention. And it drew a lot of attention that I couldn't possibly have drawn to the subject had it been a straight audio message coming through. And so supposing they had said something like, be prepared, man of Earth. We are going to land sometime in the future.

And watch out, the planet's going to upheave and this and that and the other. And you've got a lot of stupid people down there. As I'm telling you, why, you would say, what, a lot of gas. Throw it out. They could tell us the truth and we wouldn't believe it. We could stumble over the truth and we wouldn't believe it. We do this all the time, don't we?

Just examine it. So being unique in itself makes it just enough different that people have looked and reached. And if for nothing else, just hearing a strange reception of this kind spurs them on to say, hey, I'm going to get words or I'm going to get some information. If that's true, then I'll reach in my direction. Now that will be somebody else's reality.

So as again, I say, please forgive me. For being rude to you earlier. All right. All right. Next question, please. Your question, ma'am. Well, that's a good question. Have you heard or read anything about UFOs of late?

Have you heard about the so-called kidnappings of people of Earth? Well, I wonder whom they were kidnapping. I'll tell you a little story around that. All right. There was a commander, I believe, of UFO intercept squadron over. In a New York base.

I won't give all of the exact details because they're kind of thin in my memory at this time. This commander was seen to be absorbed by a large UFO that come right on over as they were out scrambling to go out and take photographs of it and intercept as the Air Force ordered them to do. And this UFO come down and went right over the top of it and took the UFO away, kidnapped the ship and all.

This has happened many, many times. Whole squadrons have disappeared at different times. OK, there's a lot of fright talk about this, ooh, kidnappers from space. Yackety, yackety, yack. You know, gee whiz, don't go out at night because you're liable to get kidnapped attitude was why they promulgated these stories.

But at a later date, over Indiana, over an air base, not an air base, it wasn't an air base, it was over a city in Indiana, UFOs come down and locked in over near the power lines. And one of them dropped right down in Gary and dropped a series of notes. And one of the notes was from that commander. It says, tell my family I am OK.

That's all. He's never been heard from some time. He disappeared with that UFO. So it's quite conceivable some of these people that were allegedly kidnapped, they were picking up their own kind. And these may be the people that we'll be seeing as liaison men.

That would make a good Air Force liaison officer, at least, wouldn't you say? OK, the farmer that was picked up might make a good farmer liaison man. Next question, please. Yours. Yes. Wait a moment, I answered that too quickly.

Then the planets. That last part of your question, repeat your question so everybody hears it. To answer that, I would say I don't have any evidence of any UFOs, maybe some earthly UFOs, that have been created by men with some knowledge. Some of the artifacts have already brought this into focus in recent years.

But if you are referring to the hollow earth theories and things like that, I personally have no reality on that, none whatsoever. I don't have any reality. It doesn't mean to say that it is totally untrue or incorrect or anything else. I just have no reality on that. My research has been directed in one prime direction,

and that is extraterrestrial intelligence, rather than earthly intelligence, per se. No, I have no reality on that whatsoever. I'm aware of what's been written on it, but I have no reality. Your question, madam. Yes. Yes. Would you have a question to go with that?

I don't have any real data on it. Other than the evidences indicate that there are many people are being indoctrinated, thoroughly indoctrinated. And the indoctrination appears that it could mean trips to the other planets and could be a complete educational system and a complete knowledge of whom the individual is.

And I maintain that if you don't know who you were, you don't know who you are. And if you don't know who you are, you don't know where the devil you're going. OK, next question. Right over here, sir. I use the term kidnap, and I use it loosely. My personal opinion of

anything that happens to anybody on this planet, anybody, is made and created by the individual himself. Nothing but nothing is done by exterior cause or blames. You can't place a responsibility for anything that happens to you on anybody or anything else. And I'd like to insert a bit of data to go with that. For those of you that would like to blame Jack, Jim, or Joe, and when you run out of whodunnits, you blame God.

For those of you who would blame other people or other things or other days or other incidents, for what is wrong in your particular life, for every one of those things that you placed the responsibility out there, even to the chair that was put in your way that you stumbled over, for those of you that allow this to happen, you're taking a slice of your own being and your own havingness,

and you're tossing it down a drain. This is how our nuthouses get, very filled with people, people who lack responsibility. Your question, sir. Yes, this, I wouldn't say full. It's pretty rough order to say full knowledge. But I would say that many of these people are definitely being thoroughly indoctrinated for that day.

And I can't paint a picture of that day. I don't know. And I can't tell you when, but I do feel that this was to be a natural state of development of any people, is to utilize these people as liaison men, who might have to be our instructors in the future. Might even have to come down and run our own government, because we've sure got some stupid people sitting in there.

They love to whip up these awful wars that they like. And war can be just a game, too. It can be just a game. But they're playing this game so cockeyed. They're cutting the throat with one hand, and they're healing it up with the other. And they're cutting it out and healing it up. They're playing games.

And more questions. Yes, your question, sir. I do believe, from the data that I have, that these can be quite authentic. But I wouldn't say how accurate that they may be. Because each and every individual has his way of, you know, it's his reality as he hears it.

[01:43:58] Questions and closing discussion

It's like the medium hearing a message. And I'm not saying the visitor spoke to them in a mediumistic manner. I'm just saying that, like the medium who picks up a message, the medium can be highly sensitive and be a marvelous clairvoyant. But if, for any reason, that medium mixes up and intermixes and heterodynes the data,

it can be just like a jumbled message coming through. And so it's very difficult to pinpoint it and say this is entirely accurate. But I do think they're authentic. Some of the data that I have witnessed, for instance, what they call this survival food. And you will need it. This is an artifact.

But they say, and you will need it. They don't say when. They don't give you any. Now, other people might hear that and put a great big story about the catastrophes of the world that are coming up to that. I can't. I can only give that to you and you can mock up any you want.

Man, you can mock this whole planet going into smoke. I don't care. That's the individual again. So I give you the little bit of data to go with it. But let me tell you something on that line. And I'm going to cut this in on the answering, you know, question and answer period, because I want the hands of the people that know or have

heard of Reinhold Schmidt. That's a good handful of people, isn't it? All right, would, and just a brief, you know, interjection in here, would you like to know something about Reinhold Schmidt? You would? OK. I know Reinhold very well.

I'm going to give you some data on the Reinhold Schmidt story that you may have heard or bumped into, but you just don't know the depth of it, as I do. Reinhold Schmidt, the grain buyer, for those who don't know him, the grain buyer, that purchased grains for a company out, all through the Midwest, happened one time back in the time the Russians launched Sputnik number one

and two, and it was on the date of the second launching, the fifth, actually it was the fourth, was the Russian launching of Sputnik two. And on the fifth of that same month, Reinhold Schmidt, out buying grain, had his car stalled on a lonely Nebraska highway. Not a highway, a little country lane. And he thinking, you know, driving over this rough lane

that he'd broken some wires loose, he was just about ready to open the hood, when he noticed what appeared to be a half-inflated balloon, because it was overlaid, laying down in the dry riverbed of the North Platte River, just south of Kearney, Nebraska. And being curious like anybody else, he wandered off down there to see it.

And he was about 30 feet away, and a pencil of light shot out of the nose of this object, cigar-shaped somewhat. And he was completely immobilized and paralyzed. Well, two men stepped out, and the one addressed him, he says, are you armed? He said, no. The light went off, he was free to move. They invited him aboard.

Well, he subsequently, to cut the tale short, he ran into town, into Kearney that afternoon, on the fifth of November, 1957, and he reported it. In a patriotic duty, he reported it, and in fact, I'm in the process of rewriting his whole experience right now, but I'm gonna hit it very light, and I'm gonna cover it briefly.

In the report that he so patriotically performed, he didn't know where they came from, he wasn't told, he knew nothing about it. And when he wanted to go home and get some sleep, and it was real late in the evening, and he'd been out to the location several times with the chief of police and a couple of county attorneys and a number of different people

from the local officials of the town, they all were well-assured something had been standing and resting there on the ground. And they deduced it to be a couple hundred feet in length, 14 feet high, 30 feet wide, et cetera. And they turned around and locked him up in the pokey. They put him in the nuthouse. Yeah, the Hastings-Nebraska Mental Institution,

they shut him off. But the evidence is quite obvious. If you were to examine them and see the Air Force teams and the intelligence teams that rushed into Kearney at the time, and once they got the town officials, then his story had to be changed. And then after the change of the story, or alleged change of the story, he says,

you can change your story if you want, but my story's stays the same. That's what he told them. Well, anyhow, he got out of there after about 14 or 15 days. I saw him shortly after that, when I first met him. And I went back to Kearney on March 5th of 58. And I was there investigating and talking

with the people in the town, cross-examining all of the people involved. We had a real good case against the state of Nebraska, against the town officials, and against our own federal government for the way they handled his case. But we couldn't get an attorney to handle it. Not an attorney would touch it, not with a 10-foot pole. Nowhere in this country would anybody handle that case.

OK, so Smitty went about his business. And he subsequently met again, and again, and again. All right, Reinhold Schmidt had some information that deals with survival. He was, Reinhold Schmidt, was taken up to the Arctic on one of his many trips with these visitors. And he said, what are you taking me for, you know, after a number of these different visits?

And they said, let's just call it an educational trip. And they took him up to the Arctic. And they showed him cities frozen in the ice. We haven't even, our textbooks aren't showing us this yet. I'm sure they've spotted some of them, but they haven't told us yet. And they were shown prehistoric creatures that he's never seen in textbooks frozen in the ice.

And they also told him, this planet's undergone many changes. It's going to undergo some more. And up here in the Arctic, you will see traces of this. You'll see tropical creatures and tropical plants. Some of them have been in a state of crisis. Some of them have been in a state of suspended animation, like that food.

And they can be activated back into life again. So we're going to hear some rather interesting things yet from Reinhold Schmidt in the future. I would say something, one more thing, about Reinhold Schmidt's experiences. He was aboard a mothership in one instance in which they showed him the past, present, and future of this planet.

They zeroed right in on the thing. Very few people know this. It's been mentioned and stated. But very few people heard it. They didn't have the ears to hear this. But this large globe that was moved before him showed him the past and the birth, literally, of this planet.

And zeroed in on particular areas showing the peoples and the fights and the races of people they're fighting as their recording of this history of this planet. And we're going to be able to, in the near future, have people who know this, have films of this, traveling around the schools and showing them how the planet really was born and what really happened. And what really happened when King George did this,

or Queen Mary did that. We'll know this because they have the exact record of it. We won't have to hear what our textbooks told us happened. The truth will be there for us to really examine and read. It'll be there for us. And this isn't too far off. I think that in the near future, we'll see films of that. Now, it might have to be portrayed

as a science fiction story. It might not be able to be brought out as a factual story. Keep that in mind. OK? All right. Thank you very much for Reinhold Schmidt. You might have a question on that. But let's not throw the lecture into Reinhold Schmidt questions.

But if there's any specific question on Smitty, ask it now. OK? Yes? I'm very much interested in that. Any one of the major studios in Hollywood today would take on? I don't know. I don't know. But it may be immediate task to find one that will,

if this film comes out. OK? They have not been approved. No. And if any of you know of one, refer them to me. And if they don't, get them off. We'll have it. That's right.

Your question way in the back. Yes. I'm not at liberty to divulge. What? Are you at liberty to divulge? No, not particularly. I haven't asked him, you know, whether I should give his location out or not. He's around the LA area.

I'll just say that. OK? In fact, we expected to have him here tonight for a few months. You'll have that opportunity possibly in the future. Your question in the back. Thank you. Well, before you do speak, this young lady that's going to ask a question is rather interesting. I was at a meeting the other night.

And she says, you know, Mr. Otto, I first heard you in Detroit many years ago. And she says, you know, you sold me. And she says, I've been in the field ever since. And, you know, it's a pleasure meeting with you. And she has a question now. Would you ask it? I don't know. I'd ask the chairman here.

Is the list circulating, the people that are interested in acquiring a copy of my recordings? This is a list here. There are two names here. If there are any others that would like to have their name on it, after close the meeting, come up. If you have not, you may have put your name on a slip of paper and given it to someone in the outer room. But we have a slip of paper here if you would like to have your name on the list and be notified about this tape or this record that will be made of these communications. Thank you.

Yes. And if you don't get a hold of the list or it's too small, write it on a little, scribble it on a piece of paper, but put it with the list. It's all right if it's on a scrap of paper. It's still all right. Just put tape in the rest. You still have another part of your question? Yes.

That's a good one. There are a lot of different types of communication, folks. And many of you that have researched into metaphysics know that there's possibility of communicating with, shall we say, entities or spirits. And often, if you're going to make a communication attempt, and if they can cut in on this, I'm speaking of entities now, they might. And they might come in and start giving you a whole lot of gas about their paducah from the planet so-and-so or planet with a number or something. This may be valid, but it also may be somebody playing games with you.

And if this does happen, I advise all of you to use your own discretion. And I can't tell you how you are going to check it out, but you can personally check it out for yourself. Run your own tests on it. Don't run mine or anybody else. Run your own tests on it. But remember that if this is the type of communication you want, you'll get that, too. I'd like to say something about that, too, in communications, if I may. Many people have asked and wondered why.

Many of the people in the UFO field seem to be metaphysicians that were acquiring messages. And some of them are quite valid. All right. Visualize, if you will, that you are a visitor and you're aboard a spaceship. And your task is to... to upgrade the people that you're going to be meeting with. They need it. They're becoming of age.

They're going to get into space anyhow, and they might as well be indoctrinated now. And so through the years, it has to be slow and it has to be easy. It can't be suddenly. It might be a sudden meeting now and then, but it has to be very slow and very gradual so you don't overwhelm the people, because there's an awful lot to be taken into account here. Visualize, if you will, the communicants that are working in seances, or the sensitive, the medium. These are natural telephone systems to reach the people of the planet.

And that's why many of the people acquiring the earlier messages in the UFO field were metaphysicians of some sort. Not all of these messages were valid. And those, some of them that were valid, were misinterpreted and distorted. But what message isn't? This message that I've got can be distorted, too. It has been by a lot of people. Oh, I know.

I come from the devil. I know. I get that all the time, says a guy. Fine, that's distortion. Complete distortion, but that's his reality. And so I would say, though, that this is one of the reasons that metaphysicians were one of the first that they were reached. Many people have often asked the question in these audiences. I haven't heard it tonight, but I caught it over the air the other day when I was on that air very briefly.

It wasn't an interview, incidentally. It was worse than the Joe Pine chop that I got, but the point is I wasn't out there to give any message to the people on the planet at all. All I was going to do is publicize this lecture. That's all. I wasn't out there to, as I used to in the past, used to be out to disseminate information. I wouldn't sit still for that. But I did this time because it was apropos.

The thing is this, that the question asked by the young person, it was a young child that called and said, how come they meet with people like this? How come they don't meet with our leaders? Now, many people might even be thinking of that today. Or they'll go to the other end of the extreme and say, hey, why don't they meet with me? Do you get one extreme to the other? And that is this. The guy says, why don't they meet with me?

He says, look, I've got connections all over the planet. Man, boy, could I be a promoter for this stuff? Yeah, this has happened. Many people get very angry and bitter because that man had a contact and he's a dummy. But boy, I've got connections, you see. Now, what's he doing? He's going to put everything in the drawer that he doesn't want anybody to hear, and he's going to shovel out what he wants you to hear.

He's got his connections. He's going to use them. Then we have the other end, and it borders on the same bit of data. The so-called official. And this is not to downgrade or belittle the official. He's honestly doing his job. If I was in Washington doing a job like they're doing, I would probably be protecting that job and my family, too, and I would say nothing.

And if it came across my desk, I would pass it off and slough it off, too, just to leave the sleeping dogs lie, if that was my job. To protect that job. Officials don't like to be upended or upgraded or downgraded. They don't like this. Now, would any official on a communication with a visitor, direct communication, meet, go aboard the spaceship, take a trip to the other planet, do you think that guy would be fit to hold an office of president today in the United States?

Why, every one of his attackers would get up there and call him a crackpot and a nut if he even opened up one little bit of information about this. Even the possibility of it happening. They'd say, this guy's ready for the bin. Get the net. And they'd make sure it's stuck. If they could take a little grain buyer, like Smitty, and throw him in the pokey there,

look what they would do to a president. Look at the one guy, he got bullets in his head. Maybe he found out something he was going to talk about. So what would happen with this? Now, I had a direct communication from these people, which stated very clearly, and it's shortly after my beef, and they said, it has to be very slow. And very gradual.

There's too much information that even you can't handle. You handle what you handle well, but there's so much more that you can't handle. And it would be dangerous for everybody in the whole UFO movement, were they to know all the things that these people could tell us. And that's why in the meetings and in the communications, when you hear a great big long lengthy tape coming about, people from other planets yakking for five hours, or yakking like I am to you,

you can say with great disbelief that this is not entirely correct. Primarily because these people don't speak that way. They're very terse, they're very short, and they leave the rest up to you. They give you one little artifact, and they say, here, work on it. They make you work with it. They don't come out and give you gab after gab after gab, and using all of our semantic expressions. They're very short, sweet, and to the point.

Very concise. They don't have to be as redundant as we do. Okay, I'll have a couple more questions, and then I want to tell you something about what's on this table again. Not in this lifetime. Okay, next question. Next question, please, any over here? Okay, folks, let me say this.

There's another artifact on the table here, and I'm going to give you a brief little story about it, and I think we'll call this the last story of the evening. Is that all right with you? Okay. This particular fuel that you see here, it's a fuel, that liquid in the bottle, it is made from those crystals in the bottle next to it.

Now, for those of you that like to walk off those crystals in that bottle, it wouldn't mean anything to you. They're dead now. There's a bench life on them, and then they die very quickly. But this is a derivative of coal with several other chemicals. The basic information was passed on to the people, to some people on this planet, in central Germany around 1909 and then up into about 1916,

just before the close of the First World War. The engineers involved, we'll call them a Dr. Kraft, this isn't his name, it's a pseudonym, nom de plume, if you will. Dr. Kraft decided to come to the New World with many of the technical bits of data that he had acquired from visitors he'd met from other planets. And I say planets in plurality.

This man, for whatever reason, had a number of meetings with him, and he had a lot of technical data. He didn't have the complete knowledge or package, but he was given data. And he was quite a brilliant chemical engineer, and he devised many things with this knowledge that he had. And he came to the New World. Because he was researching in the field of derivatives of coal,

he settled in the coal area of southern Illinois. Where there's a lot of coal deposits. He acquired around him a group of people, young people, miners, and people around, and he had a team of about 200 people working with him. And he came up with this concoction, called EW, explosive water. This explosive water is a water fuel.

You add the crystals to a water, and you have a fuel of an extremely high octane rating that doesn't give you any smog, complete burning, complete combustion, and as clean as a whistle. It's beautiful stuff. Used for spotting fluid, too, for cleaning your clothes. But of an extremely high octane rating. He has another form of this same stuff

that is a tremendous rocket liftoff fuel. It's called coal pressure fuel. It has no flame to it at all. He also has, and this man is holding some of this data today, he also has a fire extinguishing fluid. Dr. Kraft didn't stop with making the explosive water, but he also found a way to stop it. He knew both ways of the operation.

And a display to Ford, where he was demonstrating this, and Ford was offering something like $50 million for the package at the time. And on this display, he also pulled out his little capsule and he put the roaring inferno of a fire out, just like that, instantaneously. And everybody gets shook up and said, well, hell, that's even more important than the fuel

as a fire extinguishing fluid. But then there were many other goodies in this thing. There were five spaceships built in 1924. By this group of people. And visitors from other planets were involved in the operation down there. This man has been called the world's greatest phony or the world's greatest genius.

They keep tagging the reporters in the Midwest. You don't hear about him much in this part of the country or in the East. It's concentrated around the Midwest. And this fellow's name, incidentally, for those who want it, is Guido Franch. And Guido Franch and I got together many years ago. General Motors Electromotive Division called me

and said, look, you know how to deal with these saucer nuts? He says, this guy's got something. We want to buy it. F-R-A-N-C-H. Guido. Guido. The Italiano. Guido. Franch. Guido. Guido. G-U-I-D-O. Anyhow, Guido Franch came into the picture that way. Electromotive Division says, you know these saucer nuts?

We'd like to buy this thing from him. And we can't get it. We don't know why we can't get it. I said, okay, I'll give it a whirl. Well, anyhow, through the years I've known the guy and I was in on the Ford deal. And last year I spun my wheels for almost six months trying to move that fuel.

There's a sample of it right there. One time he was on trial and waiting for fraud. And he took the judge's drink of water and he poured it out there and he poured some of his crystals in. And he burned it right in the courtroom. And the judge says, case dismissed. The man does what he says he can do.

That's all. Boom. That's all. But it's rather unique and interesting. It's full of jokes and full of fun and full of pressures. This guy, everybody in the book has tried to steal it from him. They tried to beg it from him. They tried to borrow it from him.

And nobody's even got to first base. The buyers want to buy it and he can't sell it. Well, it's quite conceivable that the time when it wasn't right, they didn't know how to handle it. And now that the time could be right, they've held it so long and their hands are so tight over the darn thing that they can't even let it go.

They can't even sell it now. And the people that would like to buy it can't even own it. So there it sits. But I tell you, it's there. We have spaceships the same way, incidentally, folks. The people can't have them and the people that know about them can't let them go. And there they sit.

That's why the visitor can't give you a package and say, here, here's a spaceship. Go ahead. Sell it. Use it. Make it. No. You have to create it yourself. You have to do it. Okay? But remember this. As I told you before, the direct communication, it must be slow and it must be easy.

So don't be concerned about the thing going too slowly. I thought, you know, what I'm telling you today, I thought this would be old hat. I thought 20 years ago. Within a year or two after I got into it. And I have seen the same reaction today that I saw 20 years ago.

Some people aren't any further ahead on this thing they were then. Okay? I think that will be about all now. And I thank you. You've been a lovely audience. And as they say, thank you. Thank you very much. John Otto, I think you've given all of us a lot of food for thought.

You have provoked thought here. And I think all of us are richer for coming this evening. We'll see you next month.
