[00:00] Opening remarks and introduction

Written, too, by the President of the United States and also by the presidential aide, Harry S. Fleming, thanking him for his thoughtful recommendations and appointments to the administration. It's good that we know that people in this movement of caliber and backbone and courage and educational and professional background, such as Dan Fry, are in contact with our government officials because, believe you me, they know what is going on down here. And don't you think they don't? We also have a number of other interesting articles about Scotland and what in the world is going on throughout the world involving UFOs.

We have about 30 of these left, if you'd like to avail yourself of them. Now, as you heard yesterday, we have here also from the East Coast Jim Mosley and Gray Barker. They are the ones that are putting out this magazine, The Flying Saucer News. We have a supply of these left. They are collector's items now, and they come in sets of four. So if you want to go for a dollar, help yourself to those. Jim Mosley spent many years in the UFO field compiling what's called the Book of Saucer News, which you can get in your local bookstore for $5.

If you want one here today, you can take it for a dollar. Now, UFOs, which is commonly referred to as unidentified flying objects, have been with us for many thousands of years. Those of you who have done research and investigation into the subject, you know full well that this is no recent phenomena. Here we are in 1970, and we know today, almost as much as we did 4,000 years ago, just but for a few exceptions. In Bible times, there was an old gentleman by the name of Elijah.

He is known in conjunction with a strange aerial phenomena called the Fiery Chariot. Many ministers will get up. They'll preach about this Fiery Chariot, and they'll make one vast mistake, and that is, Elijah never did go up in that Fiery Chariot. The Bible doesn't say that. However, it does say he was caught up in a whirlwind. The prophet Zechariah, also of the Old Testament, he said, I looked and I beheld a strange phenomena, and he called it a flying roll or the flying scroll.

But perhaps the most famous. Besides the words of Isaiah, who said, Who are these that fly from cloud to cloud as birds to their nests? Perhaps the most unusual and most complete incident in holy writ is that found in the entire first chapter of the book of Ezekiel. Now, we have a new book coming out, God willing, next year, that's called by an interesting title, and the title is Confusion in Action. Nothing to do with the CIA.

But nothing to do with the CIA. But nothing to do with the CIA. But nothing to do with the CIA. But nothing to do with the CIA. But nevertheless, we do have some reference to that organization in the book, too, because we must give credit to whom credit is due. Not for the confusion, but for the things that they do, too. Now, the prophet of the Old Testament, the book of Ezekiel,

he is quite conclusive. And we break down, verse by verse, in the original Hebrew tongue, exactly what this man is trying to tell us by simply utilizing the language of the Bible. The language and the technology of his particular year and generation. He said, I beheld a vehicle. It looked like a wheel, and it was spinning. On the outside, there was another wheel.

And he called it the wheel within the wheel. And he said, I looked, and I beheld windows that were high and terrible. Well, now, how do we interpret that? We examine the Hebrew word for windows in the book of Ezekiel, and we look at the same word for, in the book of Ecclesiastes, used for the word eyes, and we find they're exactly the same words. He said, I saw these eyes that scared the liver out of me when he actually meant the windows.

Now, many UFOs that have been sighted throughout the world, they have been seen both elongated, cigar-shaped, saucer-shaped, spherical-shaped, and most of them... seem as though they have windows on the side of these particular vehicles. Ezekiel calls it the wheel within the wheel. He says it came and went as a flash of lightning. One recent report by a scientist stated that the United States government has absolute evidence

that UFOs have been tracked at speeds above 20,000 miles per hour in our atmosphere without disintegrating. We put out a small record. It's called Flying Saucers Unlimited. It contains all the information I'm giving you today. And in this record, we show how the aerodynamics experts are dumbfounded. They're confused today because these vehicles are going at such tremendous speeds, executing impossible maneuvers, right-angle turns, without disintegrating.

The serious professor of science, the top-notch scientist, goes on record. Not only in scientific journals, but also in public meetings. And they say, it's impossible. These things cannot be. It's utterly impossible. And these are the same scientists that go on record as stating it's impossible for the bumblebee to fly, too.

Because according to the laws of aerodynamics, his body is too heavy and the wings are too short, so he cannot fly. But thank God the bumblebee can't read. So he just gets up and flies anyhow. Many things the experts have told us cannot be. They are. They're facing us 24 hours a day. Now, as we examine the entire UFO picture,

many serious-minded people are wondering, where do I stand in the scheme of this entire picture? What do UFOs have to do with me? What has it got to do with my religion? What has it got to do as far as, giving me a greater impression or a deeper appreciation of the things of God? You know, we've been walking around on this planet for quite a few thousand years. Chan Thomas will talk to you about that later.

But we've been here, natives of this planet, for quite some time. And look what we have accomplished in the span of about 61 years. In the early days, there were two brothers who dared to step out of line and be counted. We call them the Wright brothers. They made the brave announcement to the world that tomorrow morning at Kitty Hawk, cousins were going to fly. And the clergymen got up and they said, well, if God wanted you to fly, he would have given you wings.

They passed judgment. They preached sermons against these fellas. Scientists wrote articles against these two boys. But what did they do? They plugged up their ears with Johnson & Johnson cotton and they went out early in the morning and they said, back up, fellas, we're going to fly. And the clergymen, according to the front pages of the local newspapers,

walked up and down the area at Kitty Hawk that early morning and they had their hands raised to the heavens. And they said, oh, God, you just show them that they're not allowed to fly. And the fellows said, come on, preacher, you better get your tail out of the way. We're going to fly in a few minutes. And the Wright brothers, they were scorned, they were scoffed, they were lied against, they were falsely accused. They got back.

Crazy-looking contraption called an aerial plane going down the side of that hill. Suddenly it began to catch the wind underneath its wings and it lifted from the ground. And the preachers were screaming, it won't fly, it won't work. They started looking into the sky. They saw the Wright brothers' conventional, unconventional plane flying. And they said, well, it won't stay up. But it stayed up all of these years.

Through the development of aviation alone, we now have these fantastic planes similar to the 747 jet, these intercontinental jets. We've been able to put man in a cooped-up capsule and spun him around this planet Earth. We've spun him out into the further galaxy. We've put man around the moon. And finally man has landed on the moon,

all in the short span of about, about 61 years. Now put your thinking cap on for a moment. How far in advance to us can you imagine that people who are flying these impossible maneuvers, people who perhaps have come from other galaxies and other planets visiting us, how far ahead of us do you think they could possibly be?

Back here now, let's call it back at the ranch, using the first few chapters of my book, Saucerama, which is now in the fourth edition and has been accepted in many colleges in the nation. First of all, UFOs, are they figments of the imagination or are they reality? Those of you who raised your hands before, you said you saw a UFO.

How many of you really meant it? Now let me see your, did you really actually see something? Did you really see something or did you think you saw something? Are you positive? You are. All right. That means some of the people have seen something unexplainable.

We don't know where they're from at this point, the things that you saw. We don't know even what they look like, but you do. What have you done to let your testimony become a part of the public record? I would be willing to tell you to take a paper and pencil. If you don't have any, go over to my book table when I'm through, get yourself one of my business cards

and write in your own handwriting, exactly what you saw and I will do my darndest to see that your story becomes public record in our newsletter because I'm interested in letting the entire world know exactly what's going on. Now, are these things from the Soviet government? Some people say they must be from Russia. Well, cousin, listen.

If Russia had something that could travel through the atmosphere at speeds defying the laws of aerodynamics, they would have done more than just bang their shoe with the UN some years ago. Believe me. Because these things go back to 4,000 B.C. It's nothing current. Third chapter, well, some of these could be an invention

of the United States government. I say yes, it is possible because America has been conducting unusual experiments in the field of space and science that they don't want you to know about until you're ready, but not in 4,000 B.C. Next chapter, the outer space question. Could they be coming from outer space? Wernher von Braun's teacher,

Professor Hermann Oberth, told our convention in Germany several years ago that they possibly are coming from the outer galaxy, which raises the question, what could these people want from us? What if a saucer would come overhead right now and see the people that are here today and what we're doing? And God help us if they saw what went on here last night. Do we have anything that they could possibly want?

Maybe they want our great intelligence, individual achievement. Oh, we have great achievement. Why, bless your dear heart, years ago we learned how to kill man with a bow and arrow. Today all we have to do is press a button and not kill one person, but many hundreds, maybe thousands, with atomic weapons. You call this scientific advancement? I suggest, this is just a suggestion, that people from other worlds could have you and

me, under surveillance for many thousands of years. They are interested in seeing how far we're going to go. And I will say this for the sake of everybody here who's never heard me before. I do not believe for one solitary moment that Almighty God is going to allow or permit some dense half-wit, some place half around the world, to plunge our nation into the abyss of the abyss of the abyss of the abyss of the abyss of the abyss of the abyss of the abyss.

To plunge our nations into an atomic catastrophe that will wind up entirely annihilating the people from the face of God's earth. I do not believe that one single man has that much power. I do believe that there is a strong possibility that some UFOs could even be carrying on an investigation of their own, watching how far men and women on this planet are going. I do know this. People on this planet are suffering today such as never before, physically as well as mentally.

I do know that help is on the way. I further know that you're going to have to look within yourself, because that's where you'll find the spark of the infinite, divine spark of power and the power of God within you that can be influencing you. I do know this. I do know this. I do know this. I do know this.

Man and women around you, how many of you believe that? Say aye. Now, I mentioned something yesterday that ruffled somebody's feathers. This is good. Oh, I just love to ruffle feathers. One fellow said that I made a statement that just rubbed him the wrong way. Well, this is fine. This is fine because he will now stop and investigate whether his way is the right way

or not. I did not tend to stir anybody to that extent, but I'm glad it happened. I simply said, do not expect the Almighty to send some great planetarian from another world, from another solar system, to land here in California and tell Governor Reagan how to run California. It's not going to happen that way. No one's going to land and tell the U.N. how to run the world. No one's going to land and tell Mr. Nixon how to run the United States of America.

That is not the way they're going to do it. That is not part of their master plan. Part of the plan is this. That's been outlined in this unusual book being made into a full-length motion picture, Stranger at the Pentagon. This is the man that I met in Washington, D.C., who claimed to have come from another planet. Some people believe it. Some people don't.

I personally am not too concerned whether the unbelievers disbelieve. I am concerned over the points that he set forth when he spoke to the United Nations in closed session, which very few people at the United Nations, admitted, even Abdul Ghani, the head of the Outer Space Affairs Committee. He said, our particular responsibility is to mingle with and become as Earth people. Question, what do people from other planets look like? Listen, friend, the last I heard, there's only one God, there's only one creator of us all. Why should he create a monstrosity of a personification of something that the cat dragged in?

To come and walk here in giant rock with four legs, two eyes, one bloodshot in the center, if you please, and one antenna sticking up so. I firmly believe, as I have met this person who looks and acts like a human being, who looks like a man, that one creator of the universe is not going to make you and I look the way we do and people on other worlds look like a monstrosity. I further believe that when the good book refers to angelic beings, it speaks about the human being. It speaks of angels in every single case.

I repeat, every single case. In the Old as well as the New Testaments, angels look like what? Tell me. They look like men. In every case where the good book talks about angels, they look like men. They ate and drank like men. They walked like men. I don't know what Sunday school teacher you've been listening to

that tell you that angels are cute little creatures. They have big teeth like you, Dad, with great big wings. Forget it. Second, Val Thor told me one of his missions was to labor and work as earth in earth enterprises. Those who encounter possible threat or danger while striving for world peace. Fourth, to give them advice and guidance. Some people wouldn't take advice from Jesus Christ himself or he'd come down to tap them on the shoulder

because people are so set in their ways, they'll say, Look, I'll do it on my own. And he's going to let you do it on your own. until you need help next to trust and trust with superior knowledge those who have proven themselves and last to divulge the essence of our mission to the collective national leaders of earth only when the time is right i ask you listen carefully i ask you if a spaceship were to leave this planet earth and president nixon has gotten together enough monies from the various departments to construct to construct such a great ship for you to visit the other planets what do you think

would happen if everybody here who's at this convention today should set foot on another planet what would we do first what would you do first what would be your heart's desire what would be your enterprise your endeavor i'm of a mind that i do not believe now this is unkind for me to say and i'm going to get repercussions but i'm ready for it i do not believe that today sunday october 1970 that any of us are ready to visit another planet but i think if you search out your own heart you'll have to agree but i believe the time is coming in the very near future as people draw closer and closer to the creator and as the creator he himself draws closer and closer to you that they will develop that supreme harmony

and spark of divinity within you that will cause you to be qualified when the time is right for you individually to visit another planet question how many of you would say that you would definitely love to meet someone from another world let's see your hands if this were possible i say it is possible when i met this man at the pentagon several years later we wrote the book then appeared on the art link letter show and then we were visited by bobby kennedy bobby kennedy came to our home sat in the living room requested the name and address of this man called valiant thor from another planet he said that you were talking about on the art link letter show i said mr kennedy may i please ask you why you'd

like to meet with him he said first of all i'd like to know who the blankety blank really killed my brother that was his first and foremost question his second question he said i want to determine by getting advice from him whether or not i will succeed if i run for the presidency of the united states within thirty days ladies and gentlemen

with my meeting with val thirty days after mr kennedy left with his two young men from van nuys valiant said to me that mr kennedy did question him carefully upon his about his possibilities of winning the presidency valiant thor told bobby kennedy and everybody knows that it was associated in that particular circle to keep as far away from the presidential race as humanly possible he said keep out of los angeles it seems strange now here is a man who claims to be from another world

who's telling a potential presidential candidate to keep away from the race and the candidate ignores everything this gentleman says goes into l.a. only to meet the bullet of an assassin it seems unusual that from time to time even you have requested information and advice from a spiritual leader

or even from your own mother and dad and when they gave you the advice how many of us as young children at one time said to our parents ah you don't know what you're talking about i know better than you do i went to school you see i know it all

but we're finding today that our society is malignant with a cancer that can only be removed by spiritual power spiritual force and spiritual understanding and after we get through the spiritual fog we're going to have to come down to the level of the human being and attack these problems on our own level i'm personally convinced

that we are gradually entering into this area called the new age and you will awaken one of these mornings perhaps this week perhaps this month perhaps before perhaps before this year is out and you will find that within your grasp there will be something such as you have never recognized before

it is possible for you to have a meeting with a person from another world carl anderson who you'll hear this afternoon met people from another world bought a spaceship not too far from here, if he chooses to tell you these things. Other people here have met individuals from other worlds. What do they look like? They don't all look alike. I can just tell you what this man looked like. His name is Valiant Thor. He's been recognized time and time again, not just here in California, but even in foreign countries. He has helped

individuals. And when the time comes for you to have such a meeting, believe me, you will never forget it, nor will you regret it as long as you live. In conclusion today, I'd like to say that we've thoroughly enjoyed these two days with you, that we trust that more and more of you will become attuned to what's going on. Everybody here is not going to be attuned. Let's not kid ourselves. But some of you have come from a long way. You've driven many miles. You've come many miles by plane to attend this convention. And I do not believe, for a moment, that people who are sincere, honest with themselves and with God are going to leave this place suffering a hunger in their own being, because I believe you will get something out of

this convention, something that you'll never forget. Thank you for listening to me, and God

You know, if he talked to you for two weeks, 24 hours a day, he couldn't possibly tell you all of the messages he voted out to this fiction to finding out what's going on. Nickel groups, people in Missouri to, uh, and methods of speech there, and it was being called a brilliant mind and the person of people weren't here yet. Okay, I'll try to mix in scientific community, because surely no scientist is talking about flying saucers. This happened in Las Vegas a couple of weeks ago. A couple of people, at least the officers, have been solved. I said it was in their one journal. The basis of the should be support. You see, it's my contention. Now, it's no surprise if NICAP or

APRO, the two big groups, it's no surprise at all if they didn't do the job. But it is surprising when response, the attention of the science, is in a paper that equipment in the time we lifted the left occurred. I'd like to throw in a that you wouldn't know and Condon had 540th Ohio report, which was rather noisy in the award of the contract. Everybody knew it was awarded. The group at Mattel studied 2,200 sightings, and the Condon report discusses a little bit over a hundred. Information of all sorts was not classified to be unknown. They couldn't identify. The unknowns were real, but no intelligence in the next about it. Something in the sky is a little bit hard to pin down. You can't tell how far away it is, how big it

is, how fast. You can't get an absolute measure. And something on the ground, the same thing goes for sightings by far, would be those of people don't know that there are saw these things. And frankly, after you entirely fault them for some of these things, it's impossible. There's a very long list. Neglect called together a committee, the future of the gas turbine, and the opinion of this committee because it was too heavy. So they built success when it comes to evaluating the future technology today. All the equipment to do that was vacuum tube operated to launch our Apollo. On this case, this is a few billion bucks. Tremendous for as long as they weren't applied. I discussed this with regard to a state mashed potatoes and gravy. Bread under 12

years of age is a dollar. There's a few people picked up anybody that says Johnny come lately, that might be getting a message from making an effort that he can talk. In many aspects, I'm no Dan frying. You know, he has such a wide, aren't impossible, probable. Does it begin at that point to be paid to these things and just a tour to look at what's going on here and then go on their way. There's the second group might come in and spend study might then go. We might refer to as the missionary class on it has reached the critical point in their development, that development completely and throw it back perhaps 20,000. Do you think it is time that in the destruction?

alien, you would never believe it. He would be perfect to continue in existence so that it will have a chance to solve its critical problems on this planet. And I don't say they are because I don't know. I assume it is probable. I know of only one. And I know that individual well. Well, all many, if any of them know that his origin is alien to this planet, but he gets around. He, uses the background of an import-export buyer. He actually does do buying for several large import companies. And this gets him access to any country because whether a country is friendly or not, they all have something they want to buy or sell.

And we'll welcome anyone who is in a position to do the arranging. He happens to be in Cairo, Egypt at the moment, weeks ago, when our enemies, eight and tens of thousands only came out alive, but there wasn't one chance in the world. And he was born in the United States. He was born in the United States in the early 40s, in the early 50s. So, you know, what happened is such a thing as that, that in a million, that such a thing could happen. And if you think it happened, and the world of the existence of those who we might refer to as the missionary group, who have taken it upon themselves, not to lead us, not to show us the way, but simply to enable us to continue in existence long enough until we can find the way,

and perhaps offer a few suggestions. Long story, This individual, before he left, was on a United Airlines plane flying from Medford, Oregon, to Sacramento, California. He was on his way to talk to the governor of this state at the time. He had an appointment. I talked to Ronald Reagan. I don't know whether Reagan knows that he's alien or not. I doubt it a little bit, but many other people in government positions have talked to him, with some of them. Anything else that I might be able to do? I've done whatever I can up to the present time. You get around quite a bit. Perhaps you could get to solving your social planet.

There's an emotion that is not subject to come to you tomorrow and say, I love your neighbor, Joe Jones, two doors down the street. A million dollars, you'd say, well, gosh, for a million dollars, of course I will. Of course I will. Well, I'll love that miserable, no-good, stupid so-and-so if it kills me. We must love our neighbors. We have to have some additional information on how to go about it. Psychological. Psychologists or psychiatrists can give us some advice on this subject.

You have to find some way to associate yourself with that person. Your pleasure or whatnot, you have to find a way to associate yourself with that person and exist. And so we say go about it. We can love our neighbors. We have to find some way that we can do it. You have to find similarities to begin with, and you have to find some ways in which you are the same. Some things in which you are the same. I mentioned yesterday.

I just got back here. I just got back from 10 weeks in Europe. My principal purpose of those 10 weeks in Europe was to teach, which I did. This nuclear physicist teaches at the university in Spain. He published a language edition of his new book and endorsed it to me. He signed it and gave it to me and said, when you read this, you'll find how close our ideas are alike. As far as the discussion, he said, Dr. Fry, he said, I have to say one thing. Agreed with every single thing you have said.

And he said, there are not very many people that I can say that of. I'm sure he couldn't possibly have agreed with everything I had said in two hours if I was talking for myself.

I had to sit at his home for five minutes and you listen carefully and tell me how it should be. And she said, I listened very carefully and very critically. She said, I wouldn't change a word. It's exactly as I wish I had written. These things to point out that this has been tested. It's been tested. It's been tested by the top minds in science. It's been tested by some of the top minds in politics.

It's been tested by some of the top economists to do it in other countries to see if their thinking was the same as ours. One thing, it is going to read it to you this afternoon. It's going to be pushed on the widest possible scale in the coming few months. And you'll probably hear quite a bit about it because it will be on radio, television and the newspapers. You'll begin to hear about it in the United States. It's a very simple thing. In fact, it's almost childishly simple. And that is the great merit.

It's too complex. If you think this sounds good and you'd like to get a copy, we do have some copies over at our booth. The White Sands Incident that I talked about yesterday, how this all came about. We have, I think, about six copies of the White Sands Incident left. To get there, you can have ten cents apiece to print the five pages and staple them. If you want to get a copy and you want to leave a dime. That is, if you think this civilization is worth a dime or if you think your children's lives are worth a dime, leave a dime there. If you think civilization and your children's lives are worth a quarter, we'll accept that too and just print more papers with it.

Not a penny of anything that comes in from this will be used for any presentation. It's going to be together when I rode on the United Airlines plane from Medford, Oregon to Sacramento, California. It may be made more successful, more productive and more enduring. Colleges and universities and governments expend billions of dollars and man-hours of efforts upon this science. The fact remains that no nation has ever been established. It should be and which it must become if it is to furnish practices which have arisen and which will continue to arise concerning the proper attitude and actions of man toward his fellow man. In some cases, the followers may be few.

While in other cases, entire nations are enticed. In other cases, entire races may become eager and devout followers. Yet those who follow each leader do so primarily because of the aesthetics or the emotional appeal of the doctrine, rather than because of any tested and proven merit. A continuing series of randoms is instituted and conducted by those whose position of authority enables them to influence, and in some cases to exercise actual control, over the thoughts and actions of their fellow men. Some of these experiments may be partly or prove to be total failures,

and some of them may bring terrible tragedy and destruction upon whole races of people. You can all think of a few examples. Nazism, of course, is the first one that comes to mind. This is the social format that was accepted by millions of people in one country. It didn't work out the way it was hoped. And it did bring terrible tragedy and destruction to a whole race of people. Yet none of these social experiments, be they successful or otherwise, can add substantially to the sum total of documented knowledge in the realm of human relationship.

Because none of these experiments have been designed from, or built upon, or even had reference to any foundation of universally accepted facts or even belief. In the branch of human knowledge and inquiry, which is usually known as the physical science, the area of mutual agreement has long since been investigated, determined, and documented. The principal body of scientific postulates, which has been accepted by scientists throughout the world, is subject to periodic review by men of science,

held in various countries for that specific purpose. It is now possible to obtain textbooks on the subject of physics in virtually every country on earth. These books are compiled by men of many nationalities, many races, and differing ethnic groups. Yet in each of these textbooks will be found the same fundamental laws, the same rules and methods of procedure, which have been accepted by every physicist in the world,

regardless of his race or of his social or political ideology. Thus, the textbooks document the area of mutual agreement, which is the foundation of the science. Upon this foundation, it is possible to test existing concepts and to build new theories or postulates from the observation of new phenomena. When new concepts are being created, differences of opinion are, of course, almost certain to occur.

Even though two or more physicists may have observed the same phenomena, they may create totally different opinions. There is no need for them to go to war over their differences of opinion, however. To devise specific tests which will indicate the relative merits of the two or more theories. Since the scientists had all accepted the postulates upon which the tests were based, they will all be equally bound by the results of those tests.

as the foundation document of the social science. It is indicated that the probable minimum number of delegates required for an acceptable congress will be of the order of one thousand. A larger number would be even better. The time required for the completion

of the primary document would be about one year. One should, however, conduct additional studies for the purpose of formulating more specific figures as to numbers, time, and distribution of the local location for the convention, the logistics of travel

and maintenance of the delegates, the linguistic problems, and so forth. The document should be publicized throughout the world to the agency of television, radio, newspapers, and so forth. It should be discussed in the United Nations Forum and by other international bodies. There should be constant emphasis

upon the simple fact that this is not an attempt to change the thinking of anyone in any way, and that all thinking is already the same. Nothing like it has ever been done in the world,

these things are, then we will for the first time have a basis upon which a social science can actually be built. Someone coming to us from another race, from another planet, to outline a concept as simple as that. Especially when we have already

proved the merits of the system in the physical science. Science decades ago. And it now progresses five times as fast as the social or spiritual sciences to which we haven't applied it. I didn't find a person in any of the six countries in Europe
