Although if it doesn't, if they don't convince you, then you're going to be very stubborn and dig in your heels. Sovereignness is not a positive trait. It never was. It's a defense. Okay? You have an active imagination, and you have the ability to bring your ideas to reality, whether you do it or not. It's something else, but it's there. You have a beginning of imagination. Your imagination is just beginning to open up as far as the aspect, in other words, the philosophical and spiritual areas. Now, let your mother and daddy tell you about that.

He is... He's very broad-minded. For the most part, he has the ability to analyze new ideas, not taking advantage of it. And a little bit unsettled. You feel your emotional experiences very deeply, and you don't forgive your brother if he hurts you very deeply. Okay? Your goals are practical. Now, he is a young man, a very young fellow, and a lot of these things can change as he grows up. But he is a creative thinker, he has manual dexterity, dignity, pride, and a desire to learn. Take advantage of it, and you won't have any trouble. Don't worry about big brother. Let him take care of his own life. You can't live his, he can't live yours. Okay? okay and you have to be jeffrey you cannot be your brother or anybody else we all have to be ourselves and there's we get into so much trouble when we try to be like somebody else like mother father brother sister the next door neighbor see what god intended you to say live in accordance with

what is right for you and you'll never have trouble now mrs lottie gregory is that it concentration is the most outstanding thing about you with this amount and don't forget we're only gone by this amount little writing okay uh lottie has the ability to concentrate for long periods of time and because of this uh you will intentionally many other facets of your life your imagination has enacted and you sometimes will blow it out of proportion because you spend a little too much time thinking about it okay you have a good imagination but you haven't learned to bring your idea to reality at this point in time a lot of

determination you are a creative thinker you like to have all your facts in front of you you do have the ability to analyze new ideas you are creative with your hands or at least you have the ability to be creative you are loyal to what you believe you pay attention to major details you know you don't want to be bothered with a little thing you have a sense of humor you like attention you like to be the center of attraction at least unconsciously you have that need to be recognized okay you have artistic ability you do of it you are essentially a logical type of person you do on rare occasions withdraw into yourself your goals are very high a lot of willpower along with it you are a decisive thinker and a positive thinker as well you know when you make up your mind that's the way it is

uh you're generally a very decisive person uh you have tenacity you are a person i could give a secret to and know that it will not be defaulted you are perseverance and active imagination in the abstract areas a lot of you don't always uh treat life as seriously as you should okay uh hazel okay hazel is a warm responsive individual sometimes a little impulsive you suppress a lot of your emotional experiences you are moderate in most of your feelings although something you hang on to and you will hang on from all of your life you have a tendency to go back in the past for experiences you have the ability to draw on those past experiences for your benefit

you also have a tendency to blame yourself for things that you have no control over you know like somebody falling down the steps or get stepping in front of a car or getting sick or something like that you know you have a sense of humor you like to be noticed good imagination you have the ability to bring your ideas to reality you have good mind value you are a very secretive young lady but you don't always face reality as it is with respect to yourself okay you do suppress repress a lot of your emotional experiences you like to be noticed you are a generous person but your generosity has a pride and offense and the soul former teachers have not played their role in your residence

tag on it that is to say when I say that you have a price tag on your generosity it just means that you want to be thanked for it you want to be noticed doesn't mean that you want to be remunerated for it so forth I cannot rate this one half is it Bruce the fruit Bruce you do not always respond to life situations the same under the same circumstances you feel your emotional experiences very deeply and you will have a great deal of difficulty forgetting your hurts and pleasures you want to be the center of attraction and even though you have no right to it and you have nothing to back it up with you

follow all right you want to be out there and know what you are doing you're just you have to do it and you know it's not okay that's not right that's not what I'm doing and you have to do it and you have to take the risk now right and you have to take the risk now right and you right to be clear you want to be there and you have to be there and you have to notice no matter what although you have the ability to concentrate for long periods of time you do waste a lot of energy you know slow down pick out a goal and stay with it until you have achieved it first and don't go off half

i started out as a left-hander i ended up ambidextrous i went to a catholic school and they knocked it out you know the old ruler bit and so i have to write with i ended up learning to write with my right hand but i remember writing doing two things i crack my hand and i turn my paper so that as you're watching a person write it appears to be backhanded writing but when you put a gauge on it and actually measure it and here you only measure let me use an exaggerated l for example you only measure the upstroke from the point where it leaves the baseline right here to the point where it stops going up in this case here

and you draw a line thusly you see it appears to now some may some may but you have to have all of the facts in front of you and you have to go through and you have to make one hundred a minimum of 100 of these uh flat lines and consecutively you don't jump all over but you make 100 consecutive jump lines i mean flat lines to validate it don't take a person's writing unless you and and start making analysis until you'll validate everything okay um okay anymore yeah okay i want to know if the way you are trained to teach from here i mean to write when you're a tiny child the teacher you have a copy book i did and we had to learn to write the way you were singing

all right i've done the palmer grammar school you will imitate to a degree the mode of writing that you were trained to but your own individual characteristic or trait that make up your personality will show in that writing no matter how beautiful a writing may appear a person can have a very beautiful writing and be the most mixed up person in the world don't let it fool you okay does this hold true in the case of printing where people write a lot they need Doesn't make any difference whether you print it out. Incidentally, I can analyze your writing

regardless whether you write it with your hands, your feet, or your armpits or your teeth. Because paraplegics, if they don't have hands, they have to write out otherwise. It does not make any difference what language that you write in, with the exception of the Orientals where they use the brush. But the printing, yes. You can tell with the printing as well.

Somebody else had a question? Yes, sir. I've been printing 95% of my time in the last 15 years, and it has become something that I normally am writing. Would it still be an inequality or something? Well, it will have some change. But in the past 15 years, you may have changed unconsciously. You know, this is... Your writing...

Your writing is an unconscious behavioral pattern. And you and all of us function whether we want to believe it or not, but we function 90% on an unconscious level. We are not in control of ourselves as much as we like to think we are. All of your learned defenses, fears, and whatever, motivate you. And it's that. You know, it's this trying to be what God intended you to be and what you want to be,

coming in conflict with what your mind tells you you are and what you will attract to yourself. And you come to grips with that, and whammo, you've got problems. Okay? Any more back here? Well, we've got a little more time. I understand you have the drawings and so forth, so I'm going to read a few more of these.

I'll go through a few more of these. Who is people willing for? Well, we take this into consideration, okay? Oh, the only thing I can't tell about an individual... or a graphologist can't tell you about your courses, is what you wrote, whether you wrote with your... mouth, feet, or whatever, your age, and your sex. So we generally always have to ask this.

But in your case, Mabel, you have, incidentally, you have a very good sense of rhythm, a great deal of concentrative ability. You have analytical exploratory type of sectors, also creativity. You have a great deal of creativity in your hands. Very stubborn young lady, too. A little sense of criticism, but it doesn't bother you too much. It's not a major factor in your makeup.

You are irritated at yourself when you wrote this. You are only interested in details of a major proportion. You are somewhat up in a hurry, you know, and you'd rather people take and do the mundane thing. You have a limited imagination in the mundane area, although you have the ability to bring these ideas to reality. You have fluidity of thought that is, you know,

you can carry on conversations, somebody can interrupt, and you will start right back where you started from, okay? Barbara Yates. Barbara is an extremely responsive young lady. Things don't bother you too much. You are very moderate in your, in retention of your emotional feelings. Many things you take a so what attitude towards that tremendous sense of rhythm. You have, your goals are very high, high ideals.

You are sensitive to criticism. You have a great deal of enthusiasm, and you tend to be optimistic. You are between, you know, you have an acquisitive nature, but you're in between the robot and the 65-foot. You'll settle for a 34-foot, okay? Generous person, very broad-minded. Barbara, you don't always face reality as it is with respect to yourself, you know. You have a desire for responsibility, you have initiative, and you don't like to be imposed

upon yourself. You know, you hate being imposed. No, no, no. You don't like being imposed upon yourself. and it goes kind of back into the past somewhere okay and if you have intuitiveness to you appreciate good music good colors good mind value okay Matilda Cooper okay Matilda is a logical person I can't deal on the emotional level with you for a handout can I I gotta have facts and figures to make it stick okay but you temper your logic with sympathy and warmth towards the

other people you are physical minded you are in it you have initiative you are self-conscious about yourself you have analytical ability a sense of humor you like to have all your facts in front of you before you make decisions you have a tremendous creativity ability with your hands with your manual thanks you , right your goals are practical and you will for yourself you know your goals are today today today and you're not too concerned about tomorrow great deal of

dignity and pride in what you do a little sensitive to criticism but it isn't a major factor in your life you don't always face reality as they did and you are a very secretive person we can depend on you to keep any confidences that are given to you also are intuitive so near is it okay and Bob Balzac you know he isn't here oh that's yo hey you said he went out there we're crazy here oh I'm sorry you If a person is not here, I will not read it, of course.

But Philip is a cold, logical person, too. You're that kind of person where people will talk to you and they'll walk away saying, this guy had no feelings. Yet you feel your emotional experiences very deeply. You are loyal to what you believe. You pay attention to details, which indicates the possibility of a good memory. You have a tremendous desire for responsibility.

You have an analytical, exploratory type of mind. You have the ability to take on a project and handle it without supervision or initiative, is what we call it. You don't like to be imposed upon. You have creativity ability with your hands. You don't always treat life as seriously as you should. And you will yield rather than get embroiled

in the process of getting involved. And you will accept new ideas and so forth if they are of value to a good sense of rhythm and a reasonably well-balanced between the abstract and the mundane. You do have the ability to bring your ideas to reality. Okay? I did tell you you were into it.

Okay. And the last one is Bob. Bob. Bob is a very outgoing person, very warm and sometimes rather impulsive. You are moderate in your feelings. You will have some difficulties forgetting some of your hurts and pleasures,

but most of your emotional experiences, you take it. So what attitude towards them? You have a tremendous desire for responsibility. You have a tremendous ability. You have initiative. You have tremendous act of imagination in the abstract areas, the philosophical and spiritual areas.

You have perseverance. You are a secretive person, and you have creativity ability. So many people here tonight, I don't generally get so many creative people with their hands, a little bit too sensitive to creativity, but they're here. criticism Bob it does get in your way somewhat okay good sense of rhythm you have or you are a very self-reliant person you feel that you can stand on your own two feet and you don't need anybody else's help to get where you

want to go okay now I hope that I have given you some insight to yourself and

The following is a speech by Georgia Gecht at the Englewood Unit of Understanding on Saturday, April 18, 1970. Subject, Cosmography, Cosmology, Cosmogony. Exalt and upstep. The religion of our present evolution. With each new age, we need a new and modern concept of the universal father. Although he is changeless, we have to learn more about him and who he is. Do we have to renew our faith and the faith of our younger thinking generation?

Not that the old people don't think, but I mean to say that I think we all agree that the old people don't think. I think we all agree that the old people don't think. I think that the younger people have had it with religions where they say, well, you go here and think this way because I think that way. And they're thinking for themselves now. This book brings upliftment to our cultural decadence and spiritual poverty and moral degradation. We need inspiration that is in keeping with our evolution today.

Jesus. Jesus of Nazareth was our last great teacher and universe sovereign who bestowed himself upon this planet nearly 2,000 years ago. Many of his teachings and discourses were deleted from the Bible. Many were misinterpreted. And some were written long after his death. And they were written from memory even then. Some were rewritten and many of the beautiful psalms,

the psalms of the Old Testament, were written by the Salem missionaries. The Salem missionaries were the disseminators of the Christ teaching. And they had them inscribed on stone. And later they were found by the Hebrew priests and were incorporated in the collection of hymns ascribed to Jewish authorship. Even so, the Bible has been the means of sustaining our faith through these many, many years. Of late, the pure teachings of Christ have come through a great soul who qualified for such an honor.

The teachings and dissertations of Jesus that were spoken through this person were taken from original memory records. This person was chosen as a perfect channel as he indeed remained consciously unconcerned about the entire procedure, which he called the God-soul. He was indwelt by a highly experienced God-fragment. I know that many of you have read and heard and believe that there is a God-spark that resides in each and every one of us.

Well, the URANTIA book titles them Thought Adjusters because they adjust our thoughts back to God. And so, So this is the name that they refer to the God fragment by. Yet his passive reaction to and inactive concern toward the phenomena associated with the presence in his mind of this versatile God fragment is pronounced by the guardian of destiny to be a rare and fortuitous reaction. And all this constitutes a favorable coordination of influences, favorable both to the God fragment in the higher sphere of action and to the human partner from the standpoints of health, efficiency, and tranquility.

They searched for a long time to find a person of this nature who was not overtaken by ego, that they were certain that afterwards he wouldn't... rise up and say, I did it, you know, how people are, and they want the people to worship them. And this man was of that type, and so he was the one that was chosen. And so we are blessed not only with the true public talks of Jesus, but with his numerous intimate talks with the apostles to whom he was striving to convey the true image of the Father, the meaning of love and service. And real brotherhood.

And so we have approximately two-thirds more of the recordings of the intimate life and teachings of Jesus than it was possible to incorporate in the Bible. And furthermore, the people who wrote the Bible deleted a lot of things. They just didn't remember all the things, of course, that Jesus taught, and they didn't have anything recorded. These talks bring to you a strong paternal affection toward God the Father and a magnanimous living faith in our magnificent sovereign, Jesus of Nazareth, to whom we are accountable. You get a new look into his heart and his problems, and love most certainly overtakes you.

For there is a great power carried throughout this book. Jesus progressed from a purely human consciousness of the faith certainty of personal religious experience to the sublime spiritual height of the positive realization of his divine nature and to the consciousness of his close association with the universal Father. Mark, Matthew, and Luke retain something of the picture of the human Jesus, as he engaged in a superb struggle to ascertain the divine will and to do that will. John represents a picture of the triumphant Jesus as he walked on earth in the full consciousness of divinity. The great mistake that has been made by those who have studied the Master's life

is that some have conceived of him as entirely human, while others have thought of him as only divine. Throughout his entire experience, he was truly both human and divine. But the greatest mistake that was made was that while the human Jesus was recognized as having a religion, the divine Jesus, the Christ, almost overnight became a religion. Jesus came here to tell us about the Father and about how to do his will and about the kingdom. And sadly enough, the kingdom was very misunderstood, and probably still is, and I do believe that that's the cause of so many churches,

the thousands of churches that we have today, because of the misunderstandings of what the kingdom truly is. Paul's Christianity made sure of the adoration of the divine Christ, but it almost wholly lost sight of the struggling and valiant human Jesus of Galilee, who, by the valor of his personal religious faith and the heroism of his indwelling God fragment, ascended from the lowly levels of humanity to become one with divinity. . . . He was becoming the new and living way whereby all mortals may ascend from humanity to divinity. Mortals in all ages, in all stages of spirituality,

and on all worlds may find in the personal life of Jesus that which will strengthen and inspire them as they progress from the lowest spirit levels up to the highest divine values from the beginning to the end of all personal religious experience. The paper called The Time of the Tomb tells of communications which passed between Jesus and several very high spirits,

rulers of vast universes, while the Master's body rested in the tomb. And there is much other evidence which suggests that not all of the personality of Jesus was asleep and unconscious during the time of apparent physical death. He made 19 appearances after his resurrection between April the 9th and May the 18th.

That was 30 A.D. He was born 7 B.C. And he was almost 37. Actually, 36 when he was crucified. Now, going on to other parts of the Urantia book, we find our destiny described in full detail. And it is so beautiful and so hopeful and exciting. The knowledge of it is a real pathway to tranquility

with the knowing that all points to a dramatic triumph of the soul and that there are higher plans prescribed for Earth's mortals. In finding the true meaning of soul, as it is explained, one feels his responsibility to that soul and a very gratefulness toward God

as never before. We recently had quite a discussion on soul. Whenever we get a new person in our study class, they come up with all kinds of questions about soul. And it's amazing. The idea that people have, they think mind is the soul or the personality is the soul.

And the Urantia book goes into great detail on soul. And so we have a real clarified concept of what soul truly is. And the paper on personality is in itself a great awakening to something we have bantered about and actually put a price on. certain areas not knowing the seven dimensions that it includes and the priceless and holy and

unifying thing that it is personality is that quality and value in cosmic reality which is exclusively bestowed by god the father upon the living systems of beings the of the associated and coordinated energies of matter mind and spirit personality is the unifier of these systems and it's also it has another very uh a good reason and that is for identity air is described in full detail and you are informed of its destination they tell us that publications of all kinds belong to the realm of the eternal sun and the eternal sun's spiritual organization of which jesus is a member prayers all formal communications everything except adoration and worship of the universal father

are matters that concern a local universe area this does not mean our solar system the local universe is a tremendous universe of 100 constellations of which our solar system is just one tiny little part worship is for its own sake first of all i'd like to mention that in the bible they have um used the word eternal son and creator son interchangeably and the creator sons are well jesus is a member of the world so cooking such he is a creator son he's a member of the core of creator sons there are many many thousands hundreds of thousands of creators son the father has a very large

family at present and in the future probably will have a family that we will be able to okay would you like to come up in front and the eternal son dwells on paradise with the universal father and the infinite spirit simply worship God for what we comprehend him to be worship asks nothing and expects nothing for the worshiper we do not worship the Father because of anything we may derive from such veneration we render such devotion because of his lovable nature and adorable attributes prayer and God is a self or creature interest element that is the great difference

between worship and prayer the moment the element of self-interest intrudes upon worship that instant devotion translates from worship to prayer and more appropriately should be directed to the person of the eternal son or to the creator son who we know as Jesus and will when we look at the charts will locate these two different personalities put them in their respective places when you deal with the practical affairs of your daily life you are in the hands of the spirit personalities and are cooperating with the agencies of the infinite spirit

and so it is you worship God pray and commune with the sun pray to and commune with the sun and work out the details of your earthly sojourn in connection with the intelligences of the infinite spirit operating on your world and throughout your universe this reminds me of a little story of a And the people that were worshiping in this little country church, and well, they didn't seem to get any place with their prayers and so forth. And finally the church began to sort of deteriorate, and they called in some people, some workers, to repair. The plaster was falling off the ceiling. So they had to, of course, take all the plaster off to replace it. And when they got the plaster down, they found all the old prayers hanging around up there in the attic of the church. When asked how the wealthy would stand in the day of judgment, Jesus replied,

I have come to judge neither the rich nor the poor. But the lives men live will simply be the same. And I will sit in judgment on all. Whatever else may concern the wealthy in the judgment, at least three questions must be answered by all who acquire wealth. And these questions are, how much wealth did you accumulate? How did you get this wealth? How did you use your wealth? Jesus blessed the poor because they were usually sincere and pious.

He condemned the rich. He condemned the poor because they were usually wanton and irreligious. He would equally condemn the irreligious pauper and commend the consecrated and worshipful man of wealth. There are actually 186 papers in the Urantia book covering innumerable subjects and imparting great pearls of wisdom, disclosing the divine purpose in the mind of God. Our growing generation is divided. It is demanding unclouded answers, and their capacity for receptivity is increasing. They want a belief in some deity of final value and a good concept of the survival of personality after death,

and what the business of life is thereafter. This book is for the young inquirer as well as for the mature mind. Part of the book is devoted to cosmography. That is, the nature of the universe as an orderly system. It is important to gain an adequate idea of the physical constitution and material organization of the super-universe domain. And then, we are better prepared to grasp the significance of the marvelous organization provided for their spiritual government and for the intellectual advancement of the free-will creature. The free-will creatures who dwell on the myriads of inhabited planets scattered throughout the seven super-universes.

Our ascension, or our progression, through the universes is outlined meticulously. It is a most heartening enterprise and bold adventure. tonight this is the abiding place of the universal father the eternal son the infinite spirit and their divine coordinates and associates it is the most gigantic organized body of cosmic reality in all the master universe what we call master universe is from paradise on out and there are four tremendous outer space levels beyond this grand universe this absolute controlling center is literally material but it's a different consistency a different type of material than what we know we know the finite material on the evolutionary planet spirit things and spirit beings are real the nuclear isle is made up of a much different

type of energy a much finer energy but it is very solid and it is eternal it will never uh fall apart as our earth is constantly sliding and changing the material beauty consists in the magnificence of its physical perfection the grandeur is exhibited in the superb intellectual accomplishments and mind development of its inhabitants the glory of the isle is shown forth in spirit personality the light of life but the depths of beauty and the wonders of this magnificent ensemble are utterly beyond the comprehension of mortal minds the glory and the splendor of the divine abode is indescribable god dwells has dwelt and everlastingly will dwell in this central

and eternal abode he is cosmically vocalized and geographically resident at this center of infinity there are neither records nor traditions respecting the origin of this nuclear isle of light here is god personally literally and actually present and from his infinite being there flow the flood streams of life energy and personality to all unity universes. But this does not mean that he has separated himself from us. We have separated ourselves from him through dogmatic belief. If the mind of man is unable to comprehend

how so great and so majestic a God, as the universal Father, can descend from his eternal abode in infinite perfection to fraternize with the individual creature, then must such an intellectual or an intellect have assurance of divine fellowship in the truth of the fact that an actual fragment of God, of the living God, resides within the intellect of every normal-minded and morally conscious. Urantia mortals, the indwelling thought-adjusters, as they are called throughout the book, are a part of the Paradise Father. Man does not have to go farther than his own inner experience of the soul's contemplation of this reality presence to find God and attempt communion

with him. God has distributed the infinity of his eternal nature throughout reality. But he may, at any time, make direct personal contact with any part or faith or kind of creation through the agency of his fragments. There is an infinite grandeur and an inexpressible generosity connected with the majesty of his love which causes him to yearn for the association of every creative being who can comprehend God. Urantia mortals, the indwelling thought-adjusters, as they are called throughout the book, are a part of the Paradise Father. Man does not have to go farther than his eternal nature to find God.

But he may, at any time, make direct personal contact with any part of his invitation to make him or herself feel so linked to God in the spirit of God. spherical. It is ellipsoid, going, it has a swing, ellipsoidal swing. It is one-sixth longer in the north-south diameter than in the east-west. It is essentially flat and is stationary, being the only universe of all universes that is stationary. These differences in dimensions, taken in connection with its stationary status, and the greater out-pressure of force at the north end of the aisle, it makes it possible to establish

absolute north. And from there, we establish south, east, and west. There are three grand spheres of activity in upper paradise. At the center is the deity presence, over here, Deity presence, the Father, Son, and Spirit reside there. The surrounding area, the most holy sphere, that fifth, second sphere, is reserved for functions of worship. It is not possible to portray the nature and beauteous grandeur of the most holy sphere of paradise. Then the outlying area, the holy area, is divided into seven concentric zones,

often designated as the Father's paradise mansions. Jesus spoke, I believe, in the Bible about the paradise mansions, and he spoke of, my Father has many mansions. And one time he referred to the paradise isles, well, I forgot my little pointer tonight. Which end am I supposed to use? Of course, when we leave this planet, we are transported to what we call the mansion world. But he also has paradise mansion worlds, and Jesus spoke of both of them.

When we are transported, we are going to what place? To the mansion world. The what? Mansion world. Oh, I see. Mansion. I'm sure you've all heard of mansion worlds. They're mentioned so many times in the Bible.

But there are actually many, many mansions, as he mentioned. Outer area is occupied by paradise citizens. Natives are, natives from the central universe, which is this universe. We call this the central universe. I think I'll bend this a little bit. A little bit too long. Also, mortals who have attained paradise are resident in this holy area.

And they stay there, and they're trained for their universe service, eternal service. They join, if they make the grade, it takes a long time, what they call the finaliters core on paradise isles. And then they are trained. And then they are trained. And then they are trained. And then they are assigned to a universe service as a finaliter. Now, there is a periphery.

This is a peripheral paradise, which goes right around between upper and lower. Perhaps we can see it a little better on this picture. This is a periphery. Peripheral, what they call peripheral paradise. The central isle ends abruptly. At the periphery. But its size is so enormous that this terminal is relatively indiscernible. The periphery is occupied in part by the landing and dispatching field

for various groups of spirit personalities. All personality transports destined to paradise land in this area, in the periphery. And there are also many other activities there. The power directors have their headquarters there, the power directors of the universes. And there are a lot of museums there, historical museums also. And then, of course, many, many activities, because it's enormous. Now, lower paradise, nether paradise, which is this underneath. This is just a different view.

It gives you a kind of, it looks like a flying saucer, doesn't it? But this is the original pattern for universes, paradises. Now, this is the zone of infinity, the nether, what they call nether paradise. And concerning nether paradise, we know only that which is revealed. Personalities do not sojourn there. It has nothing to do with spirit intelligences. We are informed that... all physical energy and cosmic force have their origins on nether paradise it is divided into

the inner mid and outer zone and the inescapable pull of gravity effectively grips all the worlds of all the universes of all faith gravity is the all-powerful grasp of the physical presence of paradise gravity is the omnipotent strand on which are strung the gleaming stars the blazing suns and whirling spheres which constitute the universal physical adornment of the eternal god who is all things fills all things and in whom all things consist when i first started teaching the energies forces and energies in this book evolution of forces and energies uh i got a lot of complaints from people who had the book a lot longer than i had because they couldn't understand why we should study uh forces and energies in a

in a religious um or a philosophical group and uh it took quite a little while to get through to some people that this is god that the forces and energies all come directly from god he is the only universe power that we have and his energy starts here at the zone of infinity and through many many orders of groups of beings this energy is transmuted from potential into primordial force and then into puissant energy and gravity energy and atomic energy and the power which we use and this is God and finally this part of the book was so thrilling to me because it answered so many questions that I had in mind

because we were inclined to separate all the material things from God God I thought that God is love well God is not only love he's power so we really have gotten very deeply into that part of the book and found it to be just as thrilling as any other part of the book the center and focal point of absolute material gravity is the Isle of Paradise but it is complemented by the dark gravity bodies encircling the central universe these are the dark gravity bodies there are two concentric circles here of gravity bodies and this one is tremendously tall and this one is

tubular the inner one is tubular and the outer one is like a tremendous wall and so the transports are able to go through those walls but to get you know to the Havana and to paradise but this is a part of the gravity control from here between here and here paradise. And this upholds the whole universe. They have plenty of control. That the fourth organizers are the first group of beings. They are simply the manipulations of energies among the great ones, the physical controllers and power directors and so forth. They often have to make changes, or sometimes have to make changes, and so they're not really accidents.

They can control all those things. And then from paradise, we go on out. This first circuit here is called the circuit of life. This is the father. Between the central isle of paradise and the innermost of the Havona planetary circuit, there are situated in space three circuits of special spheres. These are the circuits of the paradise deities. The material or physical construction of them is of an order unrevealed to us. They are enormous spheres of excellence. They are enormous spheres of excellence. They are enormous spheres of excellence. They are enormous spheres of grandeur. There exists neither record nor tradition of their origin. They always have been, and like

paradise, they are eternal. The innermost of the three circuits are forbidden domains concerned with personality. Each enjoys a special representation of the deities composing the trinity. These worlds are actually the origin of the sevenfold scheme of the universe. These are the super-universes. We have them numbered here. There are seven super-universes, and this is the one that we belong to. This is our super-universe, and this super-universe is under the will of the Father, the Son, and the Spirit. Some of the others are under the different wills that come from these father worlds. All law begins there, universe laws. And some of them are under the will of the Son, some of the will of the Father, and some

of them are under the will of the Father, the will of the Son and Father. We happen to be the fortunate ones. We are under the will of the Father, Son, and Spirit. And that was another concept that we had to sort of get boned up on. When we thought of the trinity, we always just thought of the three persons. But the trinity per se is one. The three paradise beings unite so perfectly that they can work almost mechanically as one. And so the trinity, it seems that it performs many, many very unusual and unexpected and unpredictable things throughout the universe. The innermost, let's see, the seven luminous...

...spheres of the sun. That's these purple ones in between there. Those are the worlds of the eternal sun. That's where the eternal sun, the eternal sun resides here. The creator suns, we sometimes speak of them as the Jesuses, but their names are not Jesus. Their names, their cosmic name is Michael. And there's an order of Michaels, which they belong to. But Jesus was the name that our Michael chose as his planetary name when he came to Urantia. And so the eternal sun worlds are the worlds of the seven phases of pure Spirit existence. These worlds are all mutually interdependent. That is, all of the circuits are. And existence is the as eternal and absolute oneness this never-ending compact is made for the execution of their united

concept throughout all the circle of eternity the worlds of the eternal sun illuminate all paradise and the central universe and they directionize pure spirit luminosity to the seven super universes the infinite spirit worlds are the outside this is the outside circuit are the executive world of the united wills of the father and the son infinite spirit is the mind bestower and the god of action the executive agency for reality performances of the father-son creative creator partnership there are many other very great personages residing on these infinite spirit worlds such as the seven supreme executives seven master spirits supreme center supervisors who are the regulators

of the master energy circuits of the entire master universe in no other place in the universe can one observe such varied activities involving so many orders of living beings having to do with operations on so many diverse levels occupations at once material intellectual and social spiritual ha vona is the next part of the central universe this is seven circuits and um there are 1 billion perfect worlds in hafona and when we arrive on havana the whole universe is just one tremendous university when we arrive on havona we have to go to each one of these worlds to take the eight circuits that we are observing i guess we are just trying to see each one together so let me

please have a look at these sevencı feedbacks i'll give it to our first comment in a moment i agree with each one does not care what their name is or yet which part is Mystery is dash and training on all of them so we spend the rest of our of eternity I guess in educating education as well as spiritual advancement we have to learn everything it doesn't matter of men or women and we have to we start off learning the local universe language and we learn administration universe administration and we take part we go to work after we learn things we put it to work we learn universe administration we learn we study all the sciences we study

mathematics pre-mathematics as they have which we don't have our our scientists are having a little bad time bit of problem with their mathematics and that's the reason they have uh their mechanics don't always work properly because they have to um they have to contend with pre-mathematics which they're not familiar with and so it's uh there are a lot of things that uh the scientists don't know yet but they will be enlightened on and the only way they'll ever find out is through revelation spirit functions he's the great god of action and the dead vaults of space stirred one billion perfect spheres flashed into existence but the very instant that one billion

worlds materialize there is in evidence gravity sufficient and adequate to hold them in the everlasting grasp of paradise now we have the clockwise processional of the three paradise circuits havona the seven central concentric circles of one billion worlds the natives this was all created perfect and of course the gravity bodies came in at the same time the natives were created perfect there so that everyone has a goal to uh to emulate um this is a sort of a training ground

that's created by angels the free gods of the seven celestial worlds the free gods the free gods of the seven celestial worlds now when the when the michaels are created they're created by the father and the eternal sons they have to go out and go through training through these havona worlds before they can go out to the evolutionary world they have to be stepped down because they are so high they're created in paradise and then they go through this sovereigns and the mortals and the lower beings who ascend even super mortal beings ascend and become finaliters on paradise that's also their training ground they have to go through here so it's a two-way training ground really is

what Havona is there is operative throughout these realms a technique of intelligent control for both physical and spiritual forces and the universal gravity presences there function in majestic power and perfect harmony these are the spiritual gravity of the eternal Sun the personality gravity of the universal father the material gravity of the paradise isle and the mind gravity of infinite spirit are engaged in an orderly well-understood and perfectly controlled professional swinging in majestic grandeur around the first great source

and center and his residential universe this whole universe this whole universe is going clockwise everything is revolving and the super universes are going counterclockwise the reason for that is to keep the universe in balance and as it goes on out the first outer space is going clockwise the second going counterclockwise is this is to keep everything balanced in the universe these universes are still growing the periphery of each is still expanding new nebula are constantly being stabilized and organized I think now I will just

give you a little idea of the ascension plan we start on our own evolutionary world and when we pass on and also there are what they call systems that are government systems and we are transported by seraphim transport to the mansion world we have a three-day sleep the reason that uh jesus perform that three-day group was to let us know how the same thing happens and so we are corresponding first management and we go to much training there and then we are then where

are transported to the next match and world we go through the seven mansion world and finally we go to Jerusalem this large sphere and we become residents there for a long long time and this is our we'll make our name growth this year we're for minutes of business the transition world and I don't know whether I should get into the Luciferian rebellion or not I know that some of you know about Lucifer and how he rebelled and he's a fallen angel the Bible speaks of Lucifer he was the son of Michael and he is really the cause of all of our difficulty on this planet at present we're far far behind our our evolution and it's one reason why we have so much killing we can't seem to get out of the war

in the stage if on account of Lucifer now Lucifer has been changed and put in chains and uh all of his cohorts uh oh what are some of the other names um you know Dubon is one um the devil we know as the devil and uh many of them are in prison and uh so uh after our uh sojourn around there of that area then we are transported to uh the headquarters of the constellation this the mansion world are a part of the system that belongs to this constellation our constellation is called and uh we're not we're not sold exactly where we are in here uh but that we do know that we are out on the very fringe of Orphanton

we're going out on the on the outer fringe and this is rather a new it's one of the newest local universes um we go through um 771 worlds here and each world that we go to we have a new form in fact we have a new form on every world because we're advancing all the time and from there we go to the headquarters of the local universe now these groups that you see here up here are constellations each one of these is a constellation like that there are 100 constellations in our local universe and our Michael our Jesus is the father of these 100 uh

constellations and he is located at the center of nevadon in a place called salvington and there are great teachers there the melchizedek order is there and the Trinity teachers and many many others we go through uh 490 worlds there in teaching and study and so forth and at the same time we go we work while we're learning which is a very very wonderful thing then we go through the as we know our Michael Sovereign this little spot down here is our our Nebadon our local universe so you can see we're way out on the fringe there and we do have they do have quite a bit of difficulty with our planet especially

controlling the energies around this planet because it is so far out and there's quite a strong current that goes very close to us and I guess that's why we have so many cyclones and things here early in the materialization of the universal creation the sevenfold scheme of the super universe organization and government was formulated the first post Havona the first post Havona central creation was divided into seven stupendous segments and the headquarters world of these super universes were designed and architecturally constructed

by very great architects the present scheme of administration has existed for near eternity from near eternity and the rulers of these seven super universe has are rightly called agents of days see what else can I tell you about them I might tell you something about the moon I have a little brochure of charts which I did some time ago for the students of the Urantia book and some of the notes in here are concerning the moon And, of course, our planetary system. Two billion years ago, the Earth began decidedly to gain on the moon. First of all, our solar system was created accidentally, you might say,

by a galaxy that was moving very, very swiftly past our sun. It had no solar system as yet. And from both sides, great masses of material was disgorged. And it was drawn away, but this galaxy was moving so fast that it couldn't hang on to them, and they were finally pulled back. And that's the reason that our solar system is swinging in an ellipsoid circle instead of just spherical. Like when they're just thrown off, like solar extrusions.

And so we did gain on something by that, though. Of course, our solar system came into existence, but we stole some of their material. And I think a couple of our outer planets, perhaps Pluto is one of them, really came from this other galaxy. They're not all from our own sun. Gravitational influences act as a brake on the rate of axial revolution. The Earth's gravity slowed the moon down until its axial revolution ceased

and slowly robbed the moon of atmosphere. Now, the destiny of the moon, when the tidal frictions of the moon, of the Earth and the moon, become equalized, equalized. Equalized. Equalized. Equalized. Equalized.

Equalized. Equalized. Equalized. Equalized. And the Earth will turn the same hemisphere to the moon. And when stability is attained, a new physical law enters. Space tidal frictions go into reverse. Then the moon stops.

At present, it's moving very slowly away from the Earth, which I don't believe our scientists have recognized because it's going at a slow rate. And when this tidal friction ceases, then the Earth's gravity is going to start pulling the moon back toward the earth and when it gets within approximately 11,000 miles from the earth the moon will then explode and the fragments the asteroids will probably a lot of them will probably come into the earth which of course makes the planet bigger and the rest of them will probably go into orbit around the earth

such as Saturn has Saturn has a lot of circles around it you know planets asteroids encircling it and so that is the destiny of the moon and so we're carrying on a great deal about this moon but of course that that won't happen for many many years , hundreds of thousands of years probably but that is the destiny of the moon and so of course when the greater the higher ones know these things and they know the results far in advance because this may be old hat as far as

they're concerned in some other universes and so they do not implant people on those planets if they know that the planet is going to explode. it's going to be destroyed why plant why even making plantations there when they know it's going to be destroyed well jesus talked at great length about the kingdom i did want to mention that the kingdom is not only he said the kingdom is within you and he

also said that the kingdom is the brotherhood of man it's the fatherhood of God and a brotherhood of man and at present they tell us that on this planet we are sort of in the chrysalis stage sort of a cocoon stage but eventually there has to come a real true brotherhood on this planet they even say that it's in the larva stage which is certainly way behind what we should be I guess that that probably should serve for a while there are so many things that you can talk about in the Arantia book but sort of feel that our great hope of this planet lies in this new revelation of the of the cosmos

and the teachings of Jesus with a new and enlarged presentation of his saving message that's really one purpose of this book is to save souls to let them understand what a dangerous thing it is there are many many people who are living in this world who are living in this world who are living in this world whose their souls during times such as these many people they're just not resurrected and the only thing that you can read that they resurrect is soul your personality yes and your memories yes but if there is no soul they can't just resurrect morals some people are very moral and they never search for God

and don't care about God don't want to listen to anything about God and so they do not create a soul within themselves it's up to the individual through religion to search for God to create soul and it's the soul that is resurrected together with the other energies and so it's somewhat of a dangerous situation but when they explain the whole thing it's so beautiful and it's so wonderful and such a positive thought that I'm so happy to I think it gives us great hope. The living gospel of the fatherhood of God and the brotherhood of man,

which will spiritually unite all of us in a loving service for our planet and for one another. So I guess we'll take a little break at this time and turn the meeting over to Mr. Goldbeck. We have about five minutes. Thank you, Georgia. That was very, very interesting, and we're looking forward to more of it. And we'll have a break and move around and talk to Georgia, and she's going to read some of these questions that we've asked, and we'll explore some of the possibilities on this book that you're going to ask your book.

Georgia. I have two questions. They are relatively the same. What is the origin of the book, and what is the source of the information? What is the source of your information? To whom and when was it revealed? The Arantia book has many, many authors. It was recorded, however.

I mentioned in the beginning, perhaps whoever wrote this wasn't here when I told about it, but this man was hearing voices, and he happened to go to a certain doctor in Chicago. His name was Dr. Sadler, and Dr. Sadler was a psychiatrist, and his wife also was a surgeon and so forth, and they were great Bible students. And this man... went to Dr. Sadler and told him that he heard these things, and he just wanted to find out if there was something wrong with him. So, on analysis, they decided that these recordings, the things that he was hearing,

were very interesting, that they made sense. Actually, it was Mrs. Sadler, I think, that made that decision. And so they brought in a secretary, and they recorded the things that he said. And so they just came in one paper after another. It started way back around 1930. And they... It took a long time to record this book,

because it's beautifully recorded, beautifully. It's perfect all the way through. We've never been able to find the least kind of a mistake in it. And... So they... recorded for several years. And finally, when they completed it, they had to ask questions.

Sometimes they didn't really understand the meaning. And they'd have to ask questions, and then the next time they'd have a sitting, they'd get the answers. But there were many, many persons who did the speaking, who were like, I don't know what, but I understand a little bit.

And I would say that they helped me with the writing. But then the next time I looked, they said, wait a minute, you don't know what you're saying, when you read the book you don't really understand. How can you know that you're right in front of the book? And I said, well, of course, because the people have written it for so long.

And I said, well, you know, when they came in, they didn't want to read it. But I had to ask them. I said, well, well, like they began worshipping jesus jesus came here to tell us about the father and he wanted us to worship the father and uh... so uh...

they were very careful in selecting the person to speak through well there are so many i notice there's another question here uh... from uh... it says who wrote the urantia book to give you a little example

of the different personages they had to get permission from their higher ones before they could present these papers and it took some doing and before uh... the papers uh... were printed they were instructed uh... not to tell people about us they could have a certain group where doctor sadler read the papers as they came through to this group

they were selected and they were not to print it until they were told well they got the book ready for printing and it cost them uh... forty thousand dollars to get the original plates made and they were just simply put away in vaults and they remained there until they were told

uh... that they could print them and that happened the book was completed in nineteen fifty five it was printed and uh... so uh... there were many many uh... persons

who have uh... written the papers and contributed uh... certain sections of the book and among them are uh... certain beings that they call life carriers there's a great great order of life carriers in each one of the local universes when a new planet is cooled down

and uh... in a condition where it can have implantations and these uh... orders are sent out and they make a decision on what to plant and uh... they have what they call experiential or experimental planets ours is an experimental we have an awful lot of races on this small planet and that's one reason for all of our problems too and uh... another uh...

well uh... yeah i know you're all familiar with the name machaventa melchizedek who uh... uh... appeared on this planet he just appeared he wasn't he didn't come through the mother root he just appeared and he was given a uh... mortal body and uh... he is one of them who has contributed and also uh... he belongs to the order of

melchizedeks and there's another one uh... malavasia melchizedek they contributed quite a bit and several other melchizedeks have contributed and uh... certain orders called the brilliant evening stars and uh... a universal censor a mighty messenger divine counselor uh... chief of archangels um...

barondadex sons uh... lanonadex sons and uh... they're just innumerable and there's this great midwayer commission the midwayers are permanent residents on this planet and i uh... i'm reasonably certain that uh... it's uh... a lot of the uh... uh...

what they call unidentified objects that we uh... have seen and many different things are these midwayers who are around this planet plus others because the book tells us that uh... at a certain time in evolution certain people will be permitted to see these midwayers and they're around us all the time they're helping in everything that they can they help both

in in both uh... spiritual work and material life as uh... sort of guardians of the planet so there were many of those that contributed uh... papers and uh... so uh... the authors are numerous

i don't really know i guess uh... probably a hundred and eighty six thousand because of the number of papers they're all mostly written by different uh... persons so um... finally this uh... a book was printed in nineteen fifty five and we were told that we were not to publish it i mean not to publicize it and uh... that it is a new revelation

and uh... that it is a new revelation and uh... that it is a new revelation it has to the planet has to be updated and uh... they're a little worried that something might happen to it that the dark forces uh... we're in the war now in the middle of armageddon the light forces against the dark and the uh... they were afraid that the book might be destroyed could be lost even at this

late date i guess it's getting an awfully good foothold there are an awfully lot of books being sold and they're now preparing for their third printing and uh... the first printing was ten thousand books and they've sold all of those and now they're they're i just got a letter today from the chicago office and they said uh... up until now they've sold three times as many books as they did last year at this time and uh... last year uh... exceeded the year before by i don't know how many and the person that wrote so that they had

uh... forty five books readied at that moment to take to the post office if the book is ten thousand and forty six thousand they're ready to go phosphorus which will be last year and reading isn't the best way because it's that good a good and uh... yet the post office So the book is selling very fast. Oh, yes, the book has been translated into, they suggested from the other side that we translate the book into as many languages as we possibly can and keep it quiet, let it move quietly by word of mouth, by students, by little groups of study, little study groups, and so forth,

but not any all-out advertising for the book. Now, the book has found its way into a lot of libraries. It's in the college libraries. It has been in at least 25 colleges in California for, oh, the last five years. And it's in a lot of bookstores now. And it's just slowly moving. And so they're going to send us a copy now

of the libraries throughout the United States. The states that have the book in their, and I did a little set of charts for study groups. And this set of charts, together with the Urantia book, is in the Blackburn College now in Carlinsville, Illinois. And so anyway, did you have a question, Barbara? I was just wondering if the Sadlers are still there. Dr. Sadler passed away.

Mrs. Sadler passed away before this book was completed. And Dr. Sadler passed away within this past year. He was very elderly when he passed away, 92 or 93 or something like that, and very going strong up until not long before he passed on, still teaching us. And then they... I remember...

I mentioned about the plates. They were told that they could go ahead and print it. And then, of course, it cost another $20,000 to get the first $10,000 books, I mean the first 10,000 books printed. So it cost quite a little bit of money. And Dr. Sadler was probably chosen also because he had access to the right kind of people

that would know how to handle this book and handle it carefully. And it's owned by a foundation. And Dr. Sadler left his estate, which is in Chicago, to the Arantia Foundation. And they now have this three-story building there where they have their offices. And they're just working like little beavers,

trying to keep up with the mailings. And there are new organizations springing up all over. I wrote a little article for the Understanding Magazine about five years ago. And it sold a lot of books. It got all... It went all over. I got so many letters from all over Canada

and all over the United States. And I understand that. I understand that your book understanding goes to Australia. I'll read it right there. It's an organization, I think, that's been trying to get started in, particularly, well, this one in Canada. Mm-hmm.

So you see, it's kind of quiet. Now, I couldn't write for that book. And following that, I had two requests to write for some very sensational magazines. And I said, no. I flatly refused. And I said, we don't write for magazines like that. Because I realized that was dangerous.

We were warned about those things. And so perhaps when the book gets better grounded, where they can feel safe about it. Is there a concordance out on it yet? Not yet. I don't know how they'll ever complete a concordance, to tell you the truth. Because it seems to me...

There needs to be some cross-references. Yes. You work out your own cross-references, and I have my book so written up, the margins are just full of cross-references. And I give them to the classes, of course. But there is so much to a concordance. And it seems to me like the concordance

would have to be twice the size of the Urantia book. And I don't know when they would ever get finished with it. But they've been working on it for years. And they intend to complete it. And it's been translated in French. And the French... Oh, incidentally, Jacques Huys, the man who interpreted it in French,

came here about two years ago, and he talked to our group. And he has sold the book to all the French countries. And he's just done beautifully with it. And really, they have put us to shame with this book, because they've sold so many more. And then recently, it's been translated into Spanish. It's not printed yet,

but the people were just out here recently, Mr. and Mrs. Burton from Chicago. And they're actually from Michigan. And Mr. Burton has spent quite a bit of time in Mexico getting this book translated. And it's now completed. And the only question was, who to have the printing done with and so forth.

And so I guess they finally got that straightened out. And so it won't be too long, until perhaps within the coming year, we'll have the Arantxa book in Spanish, too. So they're just following their orders, you see, following their suggestions that they got from the other side. And Dr. Sadler has a daughter who's quite up in years now. And she has taken over the management

of the Chicago office. And of course, they have several others that have been working there. They all work free of charge. And they have several others that have been there with Dr. Sadler since this began, because there was an awful lot of correspondence to take care of and an awful lot of work to dissemination,

you know, to disseminating this book, to any book, I guess, disseminating any book. Let's see, what else have we got here? Is Havona what we know of as heaven? Where are the mansion worlds located? No, Havona is not what we know as heaven. However, it is heaven. Any of these things, anything above our status is heaven to us.

But the mansion worlds over there are quite a distance from our planet. We have to travel for quite some distance to arrive at that. That's our first awakening on those mansion worlds. And we go through the seven mansion world training before we go on even to Jerusalem. That's the question I wanted to ask then. Georgia, how does Jerusalem figure in?

Jerusalem. Jerusalem, not Jerusalem. Jerusalem. Jerusalem. I mean, how does that figure? Is that the basic part of it? That's the headquarters world. The headquarters.

That's the headquarters world of the system. The system government is there. And there is what they call one of these Lennon and Dick sons who are sovereigns, system sovereigns they call them. And then they have at the heads of the constellations, they have the constellation fathers.

And then, of course, at the heads of the local universes are the Michaels. But we go there. That's the mansion world that we know of. And that's where we get a new form. We tune in on a new mind circuit. We don't have this old slow thinking finite mind. We have an individual circuit, you see,

that flows through our minds. Our memories go with it. Our memories and our personality. But we get a new form. And thank goodness we get a new mind. And it's wonderful. We can think so much faster and in much greater depth than we can with a mortal mind.

I think there was one other question here. Do you agree with the belief that our planetary bodies are representative of great light beings? I don't quite understand what you mean by representative of great light beings. I don't think so. I don't think so. I don't think so.

I don't think that our bodies are strictly finite. They will go back to the earth. We leave our bodies here. And while we do have an aura, and we have the spirit spark in us, the light spark, and the soul is an entirely different thing. The soul starts growing when the child begins, when he's around five years old.

And he begins to make moral choices. Then the God fragment comes to indwell his mind and urges him constantly to find God and to lead him back to God. But that soul is a new reality that the child has never possessed before. And it begins to grow within him. And it's partly spirit.

It's from the spirit world more than it is of the finite world that we know. And so as that person grows in his search for God and in brotherhood and love for humanity and all the good things, the real is the good, the good is the real, the real, the realities are the good things, the eternal things, the things that will go on forever.

This soul grows from those things. And it's like your own child. And you are responsible for it. And it's possible for a soul to die. A person can become quite religious, and suddenly something may happen in his life that's very, very dangerous. He turns against God, and he turns against people,

and he turns against everything. And his soul becomes very stagnant. It's a thing that needs, it's a living thing. And it needs to be fed constantly. And so it becomes stagnant, and finally it just dies. And then there's nothing to resurrect. Would you turn back to the one sin that's represented in the Bible? The one sin that can be, that's the unforgivable sin?

The unforgivable sin? Probably that could be our energies, if that soul dies, or if that person has not paid any attention to it, and it's just dwindled away. Those energies just go back to the cosmos. The mind circuit, of course, is withdrawn. The God fragment that indwelt that person

is the receiver of the memory records. So he has all that experience too, you see. And then he's able to help others on other planets. He goes to indwell another person then. But one thing I was thinking about one day is this expression, to him who hath, much more will be given. And to him who hath not,

even that which he hath will be taken away. And I suddenly began to realize that they're talking about soul. If you have, if you are a God-searching person and you have a soul and you give attention to it and help it to expand, you will get help from every direction, from everyone, unseen forces that will help you with this.

And you'll be given much, much help and much more. But to the person who does not have even that which he hath, which is his energies and his memory and everything that he possesses, he doesn't really possess anything, these are all borrowed energies that we are living on, that will be taken away. And that person will just become as if he had never been,

with just nothing there, no energies, nothing to resurrect. Two or three. So suddenly, for some unaccountable reason, had breakdowns of various kinds and they just seemed to become like vegetables, with very little, very little response. To anything? Probably no ability to communicate.

If this is a mental condition, if it's an illness that has overtaken him, that caused that, this has nothing to do with his previous life. His previous soul will be preserved. And he, when he dies, that soul will go on

and he will have no recollection whatsoever of all this period when he was out of his mind. God wants to resurrect all of his children if it's possible. But we've got some pretty bad characters on this planet. We're trying our best to... Oh yes, everyone's born without a soul. They're born with the spirit circuit, the spirit... Do you believe that the soul is the home?

The home? I think the spirit is the home of the soul. The soul is a certain type of spirit, but it's a different, it's a new reality. It's different from the spirit that we're born with. The spirit that we're born with is put in us. We're sparked, like the child. When the child starts to breathe,

the life force is in there and he begins, you know, to function. What is your description? I have no description. It's light and it probably contains a great deal of the memory. I think the memory and the soul are very akin somehow. But the spark, you see, the spirit spark that comes into us when we're born comes with a reasoning mind. And...

So the Urantia book tells us in no uncertain terms that this soul begins to grow with the entrance of the thought adjuster, the God fragment. And so that's what he wants to resurrect. Well, the spirit that's in that child, a lot of people will say, well, how does that child know then how to make that moral decision? When he's beginning to think about morals, you see,

even the first little decision that he makes, that's not right. He says, it should be this. Then he's beginning to think in terms of right and wrong. But it's his own mind that is a moral, a mortal mind is just naturally made that way to discriminate. It's a reflective mind as opposed to an animal's mind. An animal's mind is not reflective. But they don't describe the soul then in that book.

Well, they give you a concept of it and you sort of get your own concept. I don't think a soul could be described because it's pure light. And... Are you speaking of the soul or the spirit? The soul and the soul... There's no difference in your mind between the soul and the spirit?

Well, let me start over again. The spirit energies. Spirit is an energy. But do you think spirit is light? Oh yes, definitely. Spirit is energy. And when it comes into your life, this is what makes us function. The moment that light is withdrawn,

that spirit force, that spirit energy is withdrawn, then the body drops dead, doesn't it? Okay. When this soul... begins to grow, it grows from moral decisions and the search for God and all that, but it is made out of a new, a different type of spirit material.

There are many, many, many different levels of spirit material and spirit light and spirit... This is gross on this planet. And when... As we grow into higher levels, the spirit itself becomes higher and higher. And, you know, of a different consistency. Well, you're saying that spirit is only energy.

I think of spirit as the light of everything there is. Energy. Well, you call it energy, but anything. There's physical energy. There's spirit energy. Spirit is everything. Well, this is a metaphysical concept that you have. And so as you go on and study the Urantia books,

you will begin to differentiate between physical forces, which come directly from God, and spiritual forces. Spirit is energy, too. But it's just a different type. I know that when I was in other studies, I went in so many of them, I don't remember all of them,

but we used to say, well, this table is spirit. This table is light, and so forth. This is physical energy, this table. The spirit energy that flows through us is spirit energy. This table cannot recognize God. And this table cannot be resurrected. And it cannot reflect upon moral meaning and spirit values and all that sort of thing.

It's strictly material. But material or not, it's still the energy originally came from God. So we do differentiate. A lot of these concepts are what we call evolutionary religion, evolutionary religious concepts. We need evolutionary religious concepts, or we'd never arrive at the spiritual.

But we grow. Each time we get a new revelation, they pick up sort of from where we are, from certain things that we understand. And then they give us new concepts to work with. They also go back to spirit. They include what we have, what we have had.

But they expatiate upon it and tell us a lot more about what we already know. And that's the only way mortal man can be led toward God. Mortal mind is kind of stupid. I sometimes say, how can I be so stupid? You know, in trying to ascertain certain things.

I think, well, will I ever learn, you know, with experiences, spiritual experiences and so forth. I think that just about covers our questions. Thank you very much. You've been wonderful. And I'm so glad that you're thinking and searching.

Good evening, ladies and gentlemen. I shall endeavor to give you, in the time allotted me this evening, a summary of a group of 18 lessons that were given to a group here in Englewood by Dr. C. and Dr. C. and Dr. C.

and Dr. C. had acquired during his lifetime and for periods of four or five lifetimes that he can recall to continue. There is absolutely nothing new in what I have to give you this evening, but the presentation of it may be a little bit different than you have had in some of your esoteric or metaphysical teachings. I shall begin with a quote from an Arabian alchemist by the name of Abby Philae. This quote is as near as we have a translation of what this Arabian said, and I shall quote.

I admonish thee, whosoever thou art, that desirest to dive into the inmost parts of nature. If thou seekest, thou findest not. Within you thou wilt never find it without thee. If thou knowest not the excellency of thine own house, why dost thou seek after the excellency of other things? O man, know thyself. In thee is hid the treasure of treasures.

This is the knowledge of full wisdom as has been given in secret schools, in fraternal organizations, in the Bible, and in all the holy books. No one alone can judge you as to whether you can or may accept what we have to offer, or how fast you shall make progress. You are the only judge in your being, in your life, as to what you may accomplish. Heretofore each one of us have sat in life, accepting as the will of God everything that everything that happened to us, blaming outside of ourself, other peoples, other places, other conditions for things that occurred to us. Now the beginning takes place with the responsibility

of the individual, and that's you and I. Each one, from here on out, if you decide to travel this way, you must accept responsibility for everything that you have ever done, thought, said, felt, or acted. And everything that comes into your life, you must accept as the result of present or past conscious awareness. Now we find ourselves right here where we are, at the present age, in our physical condition, our financial conditions, the conditions in the world around us. We have to accept responsibility for what we are, where we are, and how we got here. And with the understanding that we, we all receive, we shall reach out into the universe and build a world for ourselves,

knowing that we can receive only that which we create, and we can create only by thinking. From the ancient books, there has been translated in several ways, in several manners, but each meaning the same thing, or all meaning the same thing. In the Upanishads, it says that God, I, God, created the universe as a part of myself, yet I remained a part. He didn't say that he created the universe out of a bit of himself and then ran off someplace and left it to its own ends. He said he remained a part of the universe. So we accept that there is a creative universal intelligence that created this universe and everything within it as a person, as a person, as a perfect expression of himself, or herself, or itself, whichever you may choose to call this

intelligence. But we do not accept it as a being, as ourselves, as we are now, but as a superior intelligence of which, at this particular time, we have no comprehension, because the human intellect is incapable of understanding too much of what goes on outside of his own mind. So we have no comprehension of what goes on inside of his own little world. Included in this universe is consciousness, and thought, and love, and power. We have a definition that we like to use for consciousness, which is slightly different than anything you have ever had, and if you'll bear with me, I'll read it. Now, consciousness is an English word that has been coined to mean to know with. Now, this term is unique.

There is no equivalent term in any other language. Its all-important value and meaning are not, however, appreciated. This will be seen in the use of the word that is made to serve to give some of the common examples of its misuse. It is heard in such expression as my consciousness, and one's consciousness, and in such as animal consciousness, and human consciousness, and physical, psychic, cosmic, and other kinds of consciousness. It is described as normal consciousness, and greater or deeper, and higher and lower, inner and outer consciousness, and full and partial consciousness. Mention is also made of the beginning of consciousness and the change of consciousness. One hears people say that they have experienced conscious

growth or extension, or an expansion of consciousness. A very common misuse of the word is in such phrases as, lose consciousness to hold consciousness to regain to use to develop consciousness and one hears further their various states and planes and degrees of conscious conditions consciousness is too great to be thus qualified limited or prescribed out of regard for this fact these lessons make use of the phrase to be conscious of or as or in to explain whatever is conscious is either conscious of certain things or as of what it is or is conscious in a certain degree of being conscious consciousness is the ultimate the final reality consciousness is that

by the presence of which all things are conscious mystery of all mysteries it is beyond all comprehension without it nothing can be conscious no one could think no being no entity no force no unit could perform any function you yet consciousness itself performs no function it does not act in any way it is a present everywhere
