After a few minutes, when Ed made his knees, he would begin to work again. He would go rushing back to his fellows with a totally incredible story of his experience. And it would go something like this. Oh, friends, the most terrible and most wonderful thing happened to me today. I was out there in the pampas chasing this antelope, and suddenly I heard a roaring sound, and I turned my head, and there was a tremendous bird coming toward me. And, boys, that was the biggest bird that anybody ever saw.

Why, he must have had a wingspread that must have been 100 feet from tip to tip. The whole body gleamed silver. It was all silver color, and it gleamed in the sun. The sunlight reflecting from it hurt my eyes almost as I looked at it. And it held its wings rigidly outstretched at all times. It never flapped a wing, and all the time I looked at it, there was a tremendous roaring noise that seemed to shake the ground as it went overhead. And long,

a stream of black smoke was coming from its tail. At about this point, his friends would begin to shake their heads sadly, and his best friend would say softly to him, Look, Joe, why don't you go back to your hut and sleep it off? We like you. You're our friend. But you're insulting our intelligence. You're smart, but we're smarter than that.

Every single thing you have said is contrary to the things that we know to be true. You're defiant. You are cruel. And you've caused our life to be a hell of a mess. We should all love our mother and our children, and we should all love them to the bone and the bone and the bone and the bone. We should all love them to the bone and the bone and the bone. We should all love them to the bone and the bone.

But we have to be wise, that all the time we're scared of our own little and all of our other things. We want to be wise, and we want to be wise, wing tips, but every bird has to move his wings from time to time for balance and for guidance. We know that birds make squeaking sounds and squawking sounds and various types of noises, but no bird ever made a continuous roar that seemed to shake the ground. Even the lion can't

do that. Every single thing you have said is contrary to the facts that we know to be true. It's contrary to all the science we have. So please go back to your hut and sleep it off and try to regain some semblance of sanity, and when you do, come back and we'll talk about something else. But let's not have any more discussion about this nonsense about big birds. The result would be that no attention whatever, no serious attention would be paid to the report which this native made. But perhaps a few days later another native might come handling into the camp looking a little bit frightened and a little bit sheepish, and that he might have been a person who was fairly highly respected before.

This time, and he might say something like, well, gee, fellas, I don't know, it looks like I've joined the crackpot crew because I think I just saw one of these big birds too. It's about the stage that we have reached today. If this went on long enough, eventually the remaining natives would begin to question themselves. They'd say, well, gee, maybe there really is something there. How could all of these people go crazy so suddenly? They all seem to be perfectly sane the day before. Maybe there really is something there. And they'd say, well, gee, we don't understand. I wonder what it could be. And this is about the stage that our present civilization has reached. At this point, perhaps some native might attempt to

explain that instead of being a big bird, it might be a machine. That would be a tremendous amount of difficulty in expressing such a concept. They have no word for machine in their language because they have no machines. They haven't even built a bow and arrow. But somehow he might get over to his friends the idea that somewhere on this planet there might be a race of human beings like themselves, but a race that had progressed so inconceivably beyond their point of development that they might actually be able to build things in which they could fly. And this concept, very difficult for them to get and even more difficult to express. But even if he got this idea over to his fellows, they would scratch their head and say, gee, I don't know, Joe, it sounds real far out. That's metaphysical if I ever heard one. It's real far out. You're talking about people building things in which they can fly, and we haven't been able to build a bow and arrow yet. But even if this were true, even if we could grasp this tremendous concept that you're trying to create of beings that could build things in which they could fly, it still is not a logical answer to the things that we see. Because obviously, if this thing were a machine of some sort, it wouldn't be able to build things in which they could fly.

But if there were intelligent beings like ourselves in it, and it was flying overhead, the pilots would look down and they would see us here. Of course, they would immediately land their ship in the middle of our village. They would leap out saying, take me to your witch doctor, take me to your chief. We want to enter into commerce and trade. We want to get some of those lovely bones that you people wear in your noses. We want to get some of that copper wire that you hang around your necks. And we want to get some of that copper wire that you hang around your necks. And we want to get some of that copper wire that you hang around your necks. And we want to get some of those lovely grub worms that your people have for lunch. But nobody lands in the middle of our village, so you're right. There can't be any intelligent beings in those crap.

At this point, another native might say, well now wait a minute, why should they trade with us? If they have progressed so inconceivably beyond our technology that they can build things in which they can fly, obviously they must also have weapons that are far more potent. And our stone axes and spears, they'd simply land, conquer us, make us slaves, and then they could take whatever they wanted. They wouldn't have to give anything back at all. And some people think our foreign aid program has gone far enough already. So that native village is not in the least danger of being conquered by us,

nor is it likely to become a center of commerce and trade. There is only one event which might persuade one of our pilots to land in the midst of such a village. What is it? The Shangri-La type of village, that is a village built in the bottom of a canyon with very steep walls. That is a race living in the fertile bottom of a valley with steep walls. It was totally unfamiliar with the rest of the world. Forty or fifty miles up this canyon, you might see that at the head of this canyon there was a large lake impounded by a natural earthen dam, and that an earthquake had ruptured that dam,

and that the waters of that lake were pouring out in an ever-increasing flood into the mountains. And that was followed by a landslide in the treasures of a hill, which is in the south of that canyon. That pilot would instantly become a prophet with respect to the future of that tribe. He wouldn't need a Regie board, he wouldn't need fortune telling cards, he wouldn't need any psychic ability, but he would become a prophet as to the future of that tribe,

simply because he is high enough above them so he has access to data that they do not have. You know there is a lake up the canyon that has never been that far up, but he would become a prophet. He would know just about what was going to happen to that village, and just about where it is. So it is not something we should have to do. It is a wonderful thing to do, and I would love to do it. about when it was going to happen, depending on how fast the water was coming. And if he

were a fairly normal human being, even at our own rather low state of development, he at that point began to feel some impulse to land and warn that tribe of what was going to happen. He might or he might not actually do it. That would depend on many things, what he thought his chances of success were, how strong the feeling was, how easy it was to make a landing. He might or might not do it, but he would certainly feel an impulse to do it. We, even at our own low state of development, we do have such impulses. We do send missionaries to these primitive tribes. Most of them wind up in the stewpots fairly soon, but we do send them if missionaries willingly go. If he decided to make a landing,

he would know if he were at all intelligent, that there was no hope of success by making a landing in the midst of that tribe. He would certainly feel that they were being intelligent. There was a case like this not too many years ago. I don't know how many of you remember. Three missionaries sent from here tried to make contact with one of the tribes in central Brazil. They did make contact with them, and two of the missionaries were killed almost on sight. The third was wounded but managed to get away, got back to one of the outposts of civilization. They got together a sort of military posse, a little army, and they

went in and they collared a few of those natives and they asked them, why in the world do you think you're here? They had killed these men who had just finished coming 6,000 miles for the sole purpose of helping them, the sole purpose of serving them. Why had they killed them? And they had no very good answer. They said, well, in a jungle, every strange thing is an enemy. Every strange person is an enemy. We didn't know these people were coming. They looked different from us. They appeared suddenly and obviously were enemies, and we just sort of killed them before we thought much about it. It would almost certainly happen here if a youth had made a landing here.

Anyway, the army didn't wipe out the natives. They didn't execute them on the spot. They didn't do anything to that tribe. All they said was, look, men that look like this, that are dressed like this, if you see any more of them again, these men are coming here for the sole purpose of helping you. Next time you see one, please try to restrain yourself from killing them long enough until you find out what they're here for. If this pilot of the plane were intelligent, he would know that if he made a landing suddenly in the midst of that tribe, they would certainly feel they were being attacked. They would either all flee in all directions, leaving no one with whom he could talk, or

if they were a little more warlike, they would counterattack and even with primitive weapons could probably succeed in killing him before he could make himself understood. In any event, he would have to fight, and it's virtually impossible to communicate with someone with whom you are fighting. We're having a little difficulty in that respect ourselves as a nation today. If he were intelligent, realize that the only real hope of success would be to kill him. To make a landing at some little distance from that tribe, and as casually as possible contact one or more individuals of that tribe and pass on to them the information that he

had. If he succeeded in doing this, he would immediately go upon his way. He had passed the buck, he'd given all the information, all the help he had, he'd immediately go upon his way. But he would leave this poor native in a terrible spot. Because when this poor native came back to his fellow man and said, oh, friends, the most amazing, the most wonderful thing happened to me today, I was out there hunting in a pampa, and one of these big birds we've been seeing so long landed nearby, and I started to run like the dickens, but I turned around and looked over my shoulder, and the door on that big bird opened, and a man came out, and he looked a lot like us. He had very fancy clothes and leather things

on him and shining buttons. But he waved at me in a friendly fashion, and I didn't see any stone axe or spear in his hand. So I stopped and waved back, and little by little we got together. You know, it's the strangest thing, he even knew a few words of our language. I can't imagine how he could, but he really did. And with these words and with gestures that he made and some signs he drew in the sand, he told me that the head of this canyon we live in, there's a large lake, and the dam holding it back is ruptured. He'd never get that far. He would never make it.

He'd never get that far at all. The instant he said, I was out there, up to me, every eyebrow in the tribe would go up. But I'll shout, you, who are you? You're not the witch doctor. You're not the chief. Why should any superior being waste his time talking to you? To see the witch doctor, and they'd tell him their story. And that this pilot didn't really believe that the witch doctor knew any more about that lake up there than anybody else. He may not have believed that he was basically any more intelligent.

He may not have. He had time to come into the village, pass around Stanford-Bennett intelligence tests, have all the natives fill them out, then grade the tests to find out who was the most intelligent, the most learned person in the tribe, and therefore the one who was the fit person to receive his message. No, he wouldn't have time for anything of that sort at all. If he found one individual who was capable of understanding what he had to say, he would have his say and would go upon his way. He would see this individual in a bad spot because the rest of the tribe would place every obstacle conceivable in the way of that individual.

When a person says, It wouldn't have been you. It would have been the witch doctor or the chief, he is thinking in his heart, It would have been me. Please, if any superior being is going to come around and give out bits of wisdom, he's going to contact me and if he doesn't, then the whole thing is nonsense. This is what goes on in the innermost ego of each individual. tells him that is nonsense and so instead of saying it would have been me he says it would have been the witch doctor it would have been the chief but if this individual that had received such information had great patience if he had great energy if he had great endurance the endurance to

endure the ridicule necessary to heap upon such individuals and if he had the energy to continue information that he had he probably would eventually save at least some portion of the members of that tribe more intelligent ones because in a little while the more intelligent ones would stop laughing long enough to ask themselves well what's the gimmick what do they want from us they're giving us advice what do they want in return of course the answer is nothing whatever there's nothing we have that they would be interested in they're offering us a little advice for whatever it's worth and it really isn't anything to them whether we take it or not it's strictly up to us but all

they're suggesting is that we get a little bit higher up on these canyon walls where we can see a little farther and understand a little better and incidentally be out of the way of this flood when it comes and this is something that we can do without any particular loss without any great energy we don't have to give up anything because if no flood comes we can come back and we'll have everything we had before since it might be interesting to you to do this and it might save our lives I just want to go along with the gag and do what the gentleman suggested so he probably would succeed in saving at least a few of the more intelligent members of

that race if he had time enough if the water was far enough away he might be able to save them all but in any event he would have to do what he could because he is carrying the ball and he is the only one who can make a score gave this analogy I had just come back from a talk in the east I was coming to Texas I was had to call a radio on, was listening to an interview with a nationally known football player at the conclusion of a game, and the interviewer hadn't seen the game but was asking him questions about it, and he asked him if he had made any long runs during the game, and the player

said, oh yes, I made one run of 110 yards, and the interviewer said, my, that was a wonderful run, 10 yards behind the goal line, that was a marvelous run, he said, gee, I wish I'd been there to see it, that would have been a real thrilling touchdown, and the player said, oh, I didn't make a touchdown, and the interviewer said, look, how in the world could you possibly have run 110 yards and not made a touchdown, the player said, well, you see, I wasn't carrying the ball, it brought home to me the fact that the only person who can score is the one that's carrying the ball, and so the one that's carrying the ball has to do his best to make a score, doing my best for the past 16 years from this platform,

a letter that I received from a gentleman named Richard Nixon in the White House before he was ever sworn in, a letter requesting me to forward to him suggestions for members of his cabinet, this was as surprising and unexpected to me as anything could possibly be, some letters from California, who happens to be the governor here, Hagan, politicians in high office, so some of it is doing some good water. Words wear the hardest stone, they say, but my only attempt is to offer to the people a little bit of logic, a little bit of something that their own understanding can grasp, I would be the last person in the world to say something is true because I say so, to accept

any statement that anyone else made under the same circumstances, I'm going to accept a statement, I want to understand it myself from well-known and accepted facts. So I'm going to leave you at this point, I have been requested to, as you know I have for some years been the international president of an organization known as Understanding Arama here, on the 9th of November, American Legion Hall in Yucca Valley, enough by all means attend that, you'll achieve quite a bit in the way of understanding there, no one will try to force anything upon you. Thank you.

I'm sure that you will find it well worth the time to attend that Understanding Arama, American Legion Hall on the 9th of November of this year, 9.15 a.m. is registration, it will actually open at 10 a.m., November 9th, 1969, also was asked by our good friend the governor of the state, he spoke a little bit, he is running for nomination for governor of the state. I have received very interesting letters from Ronnie Reagan, I think that Harry May would make an equally good governor of the state. So just to remind you that at the booth down there, a gentleman named Harry Mays who would

like to talk to you all about his program for the state of California, if he receives the nomination for governor of the state. Thank you. Thank you, Dan Frye, I think he's inside somewhere, he's next up here, 53, convention in Hollywood, convention, where I met John Otto in 1953, a number of lectures in Chicago for me since then, to California since then, so now I see him more frequently. Now I think John in the early days did some fantastic research because he went out to try to find out methods.

Undeniable recordings and so forth, and I think he did an awful good job then and he's followed through with this thing ever since. So I want to give you one of the old timers in this business, John. Thank you, Van, thank you. It's great to come here to the Rock, as I've said other times when I've been here, and this year I thought I'd change the name of it, we'd call it the Big Stone, didn't catch on because we weren't circulating enough around to tell everybody our idea, but I want to say before starting.

You're saying anything about UFOs, I want to say that, again, as I say, have said in other years, Van Tassel, the George Van Tassel, is to be commended for his stoical approach

to this thing of 17 years he's brought us kooks together, every one of us. And there's a lot of new kooks that have come in, called flying saucer kooks, that we've met each other. And just today, sitting here in the restaurant, I walk out of the door, and a man hollered my name, and he said, John Otto. I turned, I don't recognize him, I haven't seen him for years, and he says, remember me? And I said, no.

He said, Detroit, I'm John, and I remember you. And I looked at him, and I looked at him, Mr. Hoffman, yes, I remember you, the Georgia Damsky Lectures in Detroit, and he said, I've been living only around the corner from you in Hollywood for the last seven years, yet we meet here in the Rock, coming out of the restaurant, on this convention. So, when we say we commend George for bringing us all together, we also have a lot of old friends here, old researchers, just old enthusiasts that have come in the UFO field, and it's really great to come out here and play around with them.

And I think that's a great thing. We can play around in the sand, ride our motorcycles, and just say hello to old friends. And so, to all of you, old and new, I say hello again. For those of you that have never been to these flying saucer lectures, or don't know too much about my particular activities in the field, I have been known for a mechanical sets of tests of communicating with extraterrestrials, not necessarily communicating to other planets, but communicating to the extraterrestrials that we thought were observing us on our planet, aboard what is commonly called flying saucers or space ships.

And some of my many tests that I made in the past have been known to you. You've heard them at some of my lectures. Others don't know a thing about it, because we never got any true publicity. And not being publicity seekers, many of us in this field, some of these things that we have, as little collectibles, have been known to you. But the things that we have, as little collectors' items, aren't generally known by the public. And my very first test, presented for the people, so all people at that time, I thought, could hear it, was over WGN in 1954.

And on this test, we presented a communication to any extraterrestrials that might be listening in or be able to monitor the broadcast. And on a silent period, in which the people were listening in, we presented a communication to any extraterrestrials that might be listening in, or be able to monitor the broadcast. That was the first public test, so that the public could hear that. We were a little bit shocked, because the public on a whole did not hear it. It didn't come through the transmitter as such, but it came through in some isolated quarters. And we had recordings of these. Shortly after these recordings were made, stated, police officers thought that the telegram, not sound, was totally rhymes, however, that is, transcribed the technology. from Washington, and demanded the originals of these messages that we received.

And fortunately, again, we had the originals, and we gave them our own copies, some of which there were deletions in. Now, this is not unusual, because the things that are coming today from the moon, pictures and communications, much of this is deleted for you. So when we gave them a deleted copy of a coded response from a visitor, we were only playing their game. The second such test that we performed of this type was a rather spontaneous thing, and it took place here on the West Coast.

And I was asked by Ben Hunter to go on his show. And while on the show, I'm describing and telling him about our Chicago experiences, one year later, Ben says, why don't you do it here? And I said, why don't you do it here? And over at KFI in Los Angeles, at around 3 in the morning, we put on another test of the same type, in which we requested, in the interest of all mankind everywhere, we requested that the visitors answer us on this communication request.

We never did get any copies from that test, because somebody moved in and confiscated every tape and every bit of the data that was relayed back to us again. So then comes the third test, and by this time, they were about a year apart, the big ones. I was called into New York, and over WROR in New York,

we put on a test on January 10th in 1957, in which the visitors were again requested to communicate and give us an answer. And the most astounding things happened in New Jersey and in New York over that period. We have a set of recordings, which are very similar to the ones we did in New York, and they're the ones that we made in Chicago originally. We had a lot of exciting experiences, and some very interesting people in the UFO field were involved in it.

It was an appearance that now these people that we were communicating with, because we assumed they were people at that time, and we have no reason to doubt it even to this date, we assumed now was the time that we could have a landing and a meeting with these people. So we set up a subsequent test, and it went like this. On return to Chicago, the press over the entire East and Midwest called on us

to put on another test similar to the one that we'd put on in New York some weeks before. We couldn't understand where all this great publicity was coming from, because in the UFO field, it was very difficult to get even a little byline over in the obituary column about a speaker coming into town to talk on flying saucers. So, when the press was requesting that we do this again for them, we decided we'd make a real big splash-up event. I went back to New York, went on WOR, and used Long John's program again,

and over WOR, I told them before going on the show, there will only be one thing done on this show as far as I was concerned that particular night, and that was that I was going to broadcast a message to the extraterrestrial visitors, and request something of them, of which I wouldn't tell them at the time, and that's all I would have to say about it. There would be no arguments, discussions about flying saucers or anything. That's all I was going to use the station for. It was agreed.

And some very good friends of mine in the New York area happened to be talking saucers that night, so it fitted in beautifully. This happened to be Easter direction for those of you that are biblical students. It was Easter morning. It was Easter morning. In 1957, about 3 o'clock in the morning, I put on this communication. And in the communication, this is what I had set up. The use of two boats on Lake Michigan, the Mason and the Margarita W,

and these two boats were to be used as contact boats. We were using a space on Lake Michigan that was a security space, and all they had to do was put on, military officials put on an alert over this area, and for approximately 30 miles in length and about another 30 miles deep, the entire area on Lake Michigan would be closed to all traffic, on the surface and in the air, except these two boats that we were using.

And in my broadcast, I notified everybody everywhere that wanted to join and be there to appear in the air. They could appear in Waukegan at the meeting place, and they could go aboard these boats. As long as the room sufficed, they could come aboard. I also respectfully requested that our military officials or anybody monitoring it in Washington was welcome also. And the night came off on the 31st.

On the night of this particular test, four miles out on Lake Michigan, we had two boats in operation, and people came here from California that had been in the UFO field that George Van Tassel knows very well. They arrived as observers of this particular test. We also had observers from New York, from the South,

and from Canada, and from Europe. The boats were crowded. They were packed. And with these two boats moving out on the lake, I requested the complete shutdown of all engines and all lights except one light, which was my light beam transceiver, a development I had created for communication in space,

which today is often known as laser beam communication. It was known prior to that by the Germans during the war, and they used it for intelligence types communication, which you could talk on black light. No one knew anybody was talking on this light because they couldn't see it. And I had used this only as a means of communicating. Now, on the night of this particular test,

we have no acknowledgment from Washington. They will never acknowledge anything. They didn't acknowledge, but the evidences indicate all the way through. The airline flight patterns were changed. There was no surface transportation whatsoever but our own two boats out there, and we were literally alone on the lake. The lake was like glass.

And just before leaving the dock, an orange object comes scooting overhead, I would say in the area of a lake, about three or four thousand feet. It scooted over our area at the dock and out into the lake, and everybody became excited. And I, at the time, wanted to be cautious that every light in the sky is not a UFO,

which it wasn't. This may have been, however, a UFO. Because it was before we left the dock, we had another object of this same type going in the same direction we went. And everybody on board exclaimed again that there's another bit of response. But this was totally nothing to what we were looking for.

We moved out onto the lake, and when all the lights and the engines were shut off, and the light beam transceiver went into effect, we no sooner stopped those boats than lit our first three flares. And as the flares burned out to the south of us, from an extreme altitude, and for those of you that know that area on Lake Michigan,

just off of Highland Park in Illinois, is where we would assume this to have been taking place, a giant flare dropped from out of space, and it tumbled. Just tumbled down to, I would say, within a half a mile of the lake surface, and then it seemed to extinguish. And this was an apparent answer to our first

lighting of the flares, a requesting of attention that here we are. Just later, as we played with our communication device, and communicated to visitors, and requested their answering, or at least acknowledging our test out there, we had another craft.

Nothing landed, and there was no actual shape of any ship to be seen any place. It looked like a big flat flop, a flat flop. We didn't have anything spectacular enough, even for those of us that were in the UFO field, that felt that we had been acknowledged. And then,

as we were closing out, the time was about 10 o'clock at night, just closing the test. The diesels had started up on the two boats, and there was one man on board that had the only recorder functioning, and that was Hugh Hill of CBS in Chicago. Hugh Hill turned to me and he said,

Well, John, what do you think we have gained from this? And I said, I feel we've had some significant acknowledgements, but it hasn't been satisfactory. And, suddenly the entire eastern horizon lit up in fingers of light,

like Aurora Borealis, across the lake, and an orange object scooted from overhead, from offshore like, right over us, increasing its speed with the distance, rather than slowing down with the distance, it was increasing its speed with the distance.

And casting a huge orange glow as it shot across the lake toward these lights. And this particular area of the lake just lit up like somebody had searchlights beaming out of the lake, duplicating our light. And then, he said,

My God, look what's happening. He says, the whole lake is lighting up. And then, these giant fingers of light, scanning the whole horizon there, narrowed down to two gigantic beams.

And then when he said, to me, at the precise moment, he said to me, John, where are they from? Answer anything, because these two gigantic beams

angled into a massive V, from the lake, right out. In case anybody thinks this was Aurora Borealis, or that this was some phenomena that is normal in the, say, the northern skies, this,

these two beams, went into a gigantic V. And I turn to you, and it's on a tape recording here, and I said, well, I guess there you have your answer. I didn't have to say anything.

And I leave it up to you to decide where they may have been from, that we're acknowledging our tests. Now, we never did get the landing. We never did get the meeting, the meeting with people of our planet. And I had established in that meeting,

I had said, members of science, members of theology and the arts, and members of the early days, members of their religions, I wanted to meet and get together and have a talk, so that we could find out more

what was going on on our own planet, and we could have a liaison with these people. It never worked at that date. Now, that was the last big test that I put on of that type. But the results of that test are still going on. People are attempting the same things all the time, and some are being extremely successful.

This is not to say that that day isn't coming soon, where even at this rock, a request of that same type may be made, and you will see spaceships landing right here, where you can literally communicate with those people. I firmly believe this will happen. When, I don't know,

because I'm no prophet. So these are some of the little things we've done in the UFO field, and mine was communications. George Van Tassels has been the sponsoring of all of us kooks together. And then others have done other things in the field.

And I feel there's apparently people here that are dealing in the metaphysical realm, that are establishing communications of sorts. I'm not endorsing any of those, and I'm also not going to reject any of those communications. Because we feel that in the field of communication,

there are many, many ways, as are our roads to Rome. There are many ways to communicate. I prefer the mechanical type today, primarily because we don't have to work on the human behavior patterns of mistaken communications. We can analyze it,

and other people can observe it also. There's something seems to have been not spoken of too highly here at the moment. I was told of this in Chicago, and I read the bulletins on it just before I left here, just a couple of days ago. And an airline executive

drew my attention to the bulletin. And he says, John, there's been some things coming through from the moon communications on the landing on the moon that have been stripped from the public's ears and eyes.

I said, naturally we can assume this, but do we have any proof of it? And he said, there's been a bulletin published, and I don't know its validity. I don't know how true it is. But here is the bulletin.

Read it, and if you feel it's valuable, tell your friends about it. And I'm going to tell you what I read in that bulletin. But just before I do that, I will say that Van also received, I believe,

the same bulletin here just a day or so ago. It is too controversial to say that it did happen or that it didn't happen. But here is the story. Communications in these official circles today

are being screened from us. Communication delay in all of the transmissions. We're not getting it precisely as it's coming through. And several of those black dots are blanked out spaces in the communications

by Armstrong and Aldrin. These particular communications were screened. And it seems like at one time here, when they had been digging on the moon, they made a statement such as,

it is just beneath the surface. Now just these words, remember. It is just beneath the surface. And then there was a long pause and a gap. And then Houston was requesting that they repeat, repeat.

There was something going on that they didn't get the entire message and they wanted a repeat. And the answer was, by the look of the installations, they've been here a long time. Blank, blank, blank, blank, blank.

And then suddenly, in this bulletin, I'm only quoting from a bulletin, somebody could have just read it into it. And it could have been for real. In the bulletin it states that, there are UFOs up here.

There is a whole fleet of them. They're watching us. Blank, blank, blank, blank, blank. Our side, the rim of the crater. And then blank, blank, blank. Then it is stated that, you planted the mirror. Have you planted the mirror?

This is NASA requesting that information. Yes, we have planted the mirror. We're desperately planting the mirror. We want to get the hell out of here. They're observing us. Blank, blank, blank, blank, blank. We feel that we'll rip it out by the roots after we have left.

I can tell you about that communication. I don't want to tell you to take it as gospel, because we don't know whether it's for real or not. But these words came through that were stripped from us. We don't know this. But it is quite conceivable to us, particularly in the UFO field,

that if ufologists or UFOs were on the planet at the time, when man landed for the first time in our written history on that planet, that there would be some sort of a welcoming committee there. This, we all thought, would possibly take place.

And it may well have done, taken place in that manner, as I've told you. They sat there and observed them as they landed. All for true, for sure, whether this has happened or not. No speculation.

Many of us in the field that have been in it for years have a number of speculations. And one of them, which I like to speculate on, is, as such, a thing that happened east of the Earth,

mostly like Phobos and Deimos, the two satellites around Mars, as they are assumed to be. Is this moon of ours a man-made something? Satellite, if you will. Especially for we have on the planet

electricity. Many of us in the field have this speculation that that moon may be acting very similar to a brush, a magnetator in an electric motor. And if this be the case, that moon is far more important to us

than the very planet we got our feet on with our present knowledge today. Because if anything was to happen to that moon by this stupid nuclear blast that we have on this planet, if they were to be put off on the moon,

we're liable to really upset our entire weather patterns, not just a few of them. This is only a speculation, because we, as ignorant little people on the planet, don't know. This is speculation.

I want all of you to remember and think of this. And if you do hear of any report, any report, of nuclear installations being put on the moon for blasting purposes as they're planning on their own planet and doing on their own planet,

I advise all of you to start taking some real action. Real action. Start moving, and moving very fast. I don't have to remind you of the effect the moon has on our planet, which may be happenstance.

I don't believe in happenstance, but we'll say it for the benefit of you that don't believe this little speculation. Oh, how our tides are affected by the moon. We know the planting of potatoes is even very critically controlled by whether you plant them in the light of the moon

or the dark of the moon. This is a very important thing. Horticulturists will tell you tides can be swept and the weather can be changed by some deviation in the moon of any sort. What could happen

if man gets up there and starts fooling around foolishly, without knowledge? He can create a havoc on the planet. I have to say, and not much more that I can say

about the moon because I'm not in on the NASA group, I don't know any of the inside stories, as some of the other people do, and I don't even know what the future is, other than there are going to be, our own bases are going to be built

on this moon of ours. And they may find out some things that will give us some of the energies that you hear about spoken here on this planet, about free energy. We might find that

and find its use and usefulness right after we have established these bases. I don't see any of the speakers standing by here and they've sort of left me stuck with a platform. And, oh, here's Van here now.

And they've got something out of it that inspired them to keep going. John wants to make another little announcement here. I'd like to say, folks, that from those tape communications that I told you that we had tests on,

because I'm living in Hollywood. And if you want a copy of a little composite of some of these tests we made, including Hugh Hill's CBS broadcast, which was done over the Illinois Institute of Technology sponsorship, incidentally,

about this test on Lake Michigan, it's all on this little tape. It's short and it's sweet. And you play it on one side and then on the other very briefly, and you can hear this and you can have a record of it yourself. And there is one other thing

that I ran into and it deals with the moon. And I have a very interesting shot of moonrise gotten from the Pasadena Lab and it's been enlarged into this. And if you want to frame one of these for your wall,

can you all see it there okay? Earthrise it's called. If any of you are interested in this, you can also acquire these from me. It's a very good picture, I think, that would go in nicely in everyone's home that's interested in that expansion of thinking and looking.

This may be the last Giant Rock Convention that I will personally have the privilege of attending. I would like to take this opportunity to publicly express my appreciation to three outstanding men and great pioneers of the flying saucer movement.

The late George Adamski, who through his lectures in many countries and through his books, Flying Saucers Have Landed and Inside the Spaceships that have been translated into many languages,

and who has perhaps reached more people than any other person with information about the space people. To Dr. Daniel W. Fry, who on July 4, 1950, became the first Earthman to ride in a flying saucer since the modern-day era

of the flying saucer began over 22 years ago. His persistent dedication and selfless service has given thousands of talks to laymen and scientists alike, and helped to bring

greater understanding of the saucer subject to millions of people through his profound insight. To George W. Van Tassel, the man who has made it possible for us to enjoy 16 years of information.

Informative spacecraft conventions at Giant Rock brought greater insight on the saucer subject to audiences throughout the country through his lectures, radio and television appearances, and the publication

of his books and magazines. I would like to say thank you very much, gentlemen, for the contributions that you have made on behalf of mankind. And I'm sure that many of you,

as I do, in their efforts to carry on this great work that will mean so much to future generations and the humanity of this planet. Here this afternoon, the experiences of contact eBus,

Bob Renaud, through reading his amazing experiences in Flying Saucers International, which is published by the Amalgamated Flying Saucer Clubs of America, of which I am president.

At the time of his first contact in 1961, at the age of 18, Bob Renaud, an electronic technician living in Massachusetts, was listening to a BBC broadcast on a shortwave radio.

At that time, he heard what amounted to an electronic interference. Out of curiosity, he tuned in this interference to see if he could ascertain what it was. As he did so,

to him, called him by his first name and said, Bob, we would like to speak to you for a while. Picked himself up off the floor, emotionally speaking.

They continued to speak with him in a one-way conversation and told him that they were a group of space scientists in a spaceship hovering a short distance away from his home in Massachusetts and that they had come

from another star system called Corandor in the planet, in the Sun system of Carina, located about 411 light years away from the planet Earth. Told him during that communication how to augment his radio set

so that he could engage in two-way conversation with him. Made these adjustments, conversations with him over a period of several years. Eventually, was given instructions how to augment his television set

so that he could receive the broadcast of their video signal from their spaceships on his video set. And in that manner, he got to see what these people had been communicating with him

for so long looked like. As he is a young man, over the period of years that he was talking with him, he had developed quite a crush on this female voice with whom he had been communicating. Her name was Lynn Airy.

He was disappointed when he had the opportunity to see her on his video screen, make contact with these people, in person, was given rides in their spaceships, pilot some of their smaller craft, permitted to visit

some of their underground and undersea installations that they have located in Massachusetts, off the coast of California, and in numerous other areas. He made visits to many of their spaceships,

bringing back with him drawings of these, the plans of these spaceships, some of which you can see. At the other end of the bookstands here this afternoon, Bob was taken into a laboratory ship about 650 feet in diameter,

a spherical-type mothership, which is very unusual. Most of the motherships that we normally hear about are oblong-shaped cigar ships that hold several hundred small Adamski-type or Venusian-type 50-foot diameter scout ships.

But this was a spherical ship that had a tube down the, a hundred-foot diameter tube, three-foot diameter, saucer-shaped, could go the full length of the craft, and 13 of these

hundred-foot diameter craft could be parked on several of the large flight decks in the center of the craft. The ship amazed to see that they had picture theaters, they had a complete bowling alley

for the entertainment of the crew. It goes on some of these craft theaters through which they monitor and see many of the activities that are taking place on our planet as well as elsewhere in the universe. One of the most amazing concepts I think that I've come across

in my research in the flying saucer movement has been the one craft where he was taken into a electronic gadgetry around and asked to stand on a platform. Naturally, what the purpose was,

and he was told that they were taking his atomic imprint, that they would record the complete atomic structure of his body on a cube of very dense matter, and it would be similar to making a tape record

of what that person was. Anything accidentally happened would be possible to this atomic structure pattern become whole again, deceased. Same fantastic technology which is actually

the technology that is necessary to know about and to have if you're to accomplish the teleportation that these advanced races of people have to as a body duplicator

so that if you have any existing matter such as a ham sandwich or a glass of milk, it's merely a simple process to record this on the tape, so to speak,

sandwich or a glass of milk, just run the tape through the machine by pushing a button and there you have it. Tape through the machine for your soul to occupy. If you want to go

teleport yourself or be teleported from one place to another, it is necessary to record the complete atomic structure of what you started with in order to transport it

and reassemble it someplace else. Find out something different than what you started with. So this is this body duplicator or matter duplicator as part of that process

of the teleportation device. When you start to think of how simple you can make life and provide all the material wants that anybody could want for, you see how simple life can be for people

who have evolved to the point that they have come to live by universal laws and principles and have worked together to build a better way of life for their people.

A quick story of the Bob Renaud story is published in the last 12 issues of our magazine Flying Saucers International. We received a document that was given

to Bob Renaud by his contacts, the Corendians, which listed 75 stars in this Milky Way galaxy of ours and there are 417 planets. This document listed our astronomers' name

for this particular star, the planet's name for the star and its planets, the planet's registration number, the distance in light years from the planet Earth, the diameter of these planets in miles,

the length of year of these planets. It was affiliated with the Corendians, our affiliate. The Universal Confederation and our solar system are said to be affiliated.

It was a neutral planet that has no affiliation or whether it was an Omegon or under the jurisdiction of this bad guys. This data also included the population of these planets

in billions of people. Each one of these planets was inhabited or uninhabited. It had native population or was colonized. and other contactees. Client software close up

and it is to be published by Gray Barker. Coming into contact with numerous accomplished telepaths such as George Van Tassel is, also Dick Miller, Rick Williamson, and a number of others.

To communicate and to ask thousands of questions of the space people through some of these telepathic contactees. One of these, Haiti King, on numerous occasions

made contact with a space lady who went by the name of Aura Raines and said that she was from the planet Clarion. We heard Truman Bathrum tell of his experiences from this platform

with the planet Clarion. Know that he told her that she was from a planet that was beyond our moon. Mission period with Aura Raines that I had and said that

yes our planet is indeed beyond your moon in distance but it is also beyond any planet is beyond your moon in distance. But our planet is a sister planet to the planet earth

180 degrees opposite the earth. Most of the time behind the sun in the same orbit about 2000 it is said to have large oceans and the oceans

are not as salty as our hour. It is interesting that in this list of planets that the Corinthians had mentioned that there was another star system in which there was

a sister planet such as we have here in this solar system which seems to be most unusual but they said it was quite similar to the planets

that you have in your solar system of earth and clarion and this was the first verification of this information that I had had from other sources.

Another channel in Los Angeles Ellery J. Wilsey who had the privilege of going to such planets as Mars and being teleported to Alpha Centauri

which is about four and a half light years from here. I had the opportunity to communicate with a number of over a period of time some of whom I

eventually got to meet in person and talk with them directly about the great divine plan of the space people of our planet. There was a man

called Ru Dalton who also said that he was from the planet Clarion information in person that I had previously received through telepathic means through channel Haiti King.

Another person was a man that was only about four feet tall called Ren Ton who said that he was from the Alpha Centauri system.

I communicated with him through Ellery Wilsey for a number of years discussing associated with the flying saucer movement and eventually got to meet him

in person on several occasions. Mr. Wilsey and I were discussing some of the problems of the saucer movement and said it would be nice

if Ren Ton were here and we could get some information from him. He said well just a minute I'll see if

I can get him on the phone meaning call him up telepathically and see if he can come and visit us. And he did so and said

Renny as we called him because he was so small in stature said that he was tied up he was occupied in an important meeting

and couldn't come right away. On a previous occasion I had taken him to get to his planet and back.

At least I saw him in the afternoon and he said he had to go home to his planet and then he'd see me later

and I saw him a couple hours later and he said he'd been home and back already. I said that was a pretty fast trip.

Ren Ton said that he couldn't come but about ten or fifteen minutes later there was a knock on the door and I said

gee Renny I thought you were tied up in a meeting couldn't make it and we didn't expect to see you here. What happened?

I said you must have not come by spaceship because I thought it took an hour to get here

by spaceship. He said well it really doesn't take quite that long but since I was in a hurry I just

teleported. And I said gee that's pretty good. I told some of my contactee friends that instrumentation can be used

to pick people up right off the street through a highly directional beam and teleport them any place you want them to do.

And he says yes that's that's true. We do use that in the case of people that don't have the ability

such as I do where they need instrumentation. But he says when a person is advanced to a certain degree

there is a chance that they can do this through a strictly mental process.

And I says gee that's that's pretty good. Do you suppose I'll ever be able to do that myself? And he says

yes this is a capability that all of you people on earth have

since that you're just as intelligent as we. And by the time you had a couple of thousand years

of uninterrupted accumulation of knowledge in one body such as I have you'll be able to do this too. And I says

gee that's pretty good. I guess I'll have to work on it for a while. A type of telepathy bestowed upon

me so that I was able to communicate with a source of extraterrestrial intelligence without having to have

a go between of somebody else serve so that at this time I am in 24 hour telepathic

report with an intelligence who says that his name is Urio and that he lives on the planet Venus.

For sure his name or not or whether he actually lives on the planet Venus. I'm willing

to accept this until I can prove differently. The information that I have received from this source

may not be organized into various federations such as the Universal Alliance of Planets to which our local solar

system of planets now belongs. And saying yes this is actually true. I said well gee if you

have all the answers to these things let's explore this a little further and let's see what I can learn

from this. He told me that I asked a number of questions and actually in this galaxy I know that

there are several hundred planets associated with this Universal Alliance of Planets at least that's what they tell

us. And this type are there in this whole Milky Way galaxy of ours.

And he said that there are about 85 of these planetary confederations in this

particular our particular galaxy. And they vary in size from 150 planets to

7,500 planets in each organization. Now I asked what is the total number

of planets in our galaxy that are members of these 85 confederations of planets.

And he said that there were 5 million planets that were members of these 85

confederations in our galaxy. The actual distance that the actual size of our galaxy

which some astronomers had said was about 30,000 light years across and he says that's

just about right according to our figures. He said that the total number of stars in

our galaxy so that shows that 5 million as compared to 75 million planets in

our own galaxy are either uninhabited or non members of these confederations.

So our work has cut out for us. I mean there's no problem of population

that is if you have the transportation facility to get from here to some other

idealistic place. Now we can solve the problem of being able to feed the

people that we bring into existence on this planet we better pay attention to control unless

we contribute to murder by over population through not being able to take care of

the people that we bring into existence here. There are 22 million people in

the world and we have to do everything we can to make

the world a better place for us to live and

to be happy and to be happy and

to be happy and to be happy and to be

you can sleep in a And he said that there were a total of three trillion planets in the universe in existence now, and that there is a constant process of new planets being created in each of the galaxies. He said the closest galaxy to our own, from the edge of our galaxy to the next galaxy,

was about 31 million light years away, with the average distance between galaxies being about 25 billion light years, since most galaxies are smaller than ours. The total diameter, according to this person, was 11.5 billion light years. The other day that astronomers claimed that they can see through our powerful telescopes about half of this distance. I mention this information because, certainly, I have no way of knowing what the distance is. I have no way of proving whether it's valid or invalid. None of us can expect to have that opportunity within this lifetime or perhaps in the future.

You can conceive of the existence of advanced extraterrestrial life, and we can believe, constantly telling hundreds of contact states throughout the world, are still on the planet Earth, are still in the very embryonic stage of our evolution, as compared to peoples who are advanced eons of time over our own. From the time that they developed electromagnetic drive, so that they could travel between the planets of their own solar system, and the time that they developed interstellar, where they could, planets many light years distance, was 1,500 years,

before their technology made the breakthrough into interstellar drive, in contact with planets in their solar system and throughout the galaxy. Imagine the tremendous potential for accumulation of knowledge and through exchange of the sum total culture of each one of these planets, and computerizing all of that statistical information that had been arrived at by the efforts of man through eons of time, and having that immediately available to any member of that of those planets in that federation,

a commu, communication device that each individual carries with him on his person. I mention this information, saying, if I can stimulate within you the tremendous scope and possibility of what we have facing our world, we decide to... take advantage of the offers of our extraterrestrial brothers and start living by universal laws and principles and join with them in their travel amongst the stars with each other that we create on the surface of our planet here then they say that the sum total of their knowledge

will be available to us to be used for the benefit of our people of a new decade perhaps it is time to evaluate the past 22 years of sasa research is in store for the world in the future just what is this great plan of the space people on facing mankind and get off this razor's edge to thermonuclear oblivion that we are presently straddling and transcend this critical phase of our evolution that we are going through assuming that flying saucers are a reality are in reality manned spacecraft from other planets and star systems piloted by these advanced crews of people and assuming that there is the degree of organization in the

universe that the space people lead us to believe and there actually is someone in charge of this whole operation concerned with a little bit of of the salvation of the Earth's peoples. Stop to think what strategy you would use if you were in charge of a big operation like this. It does present a problem. The space people didn't reveal themselves and get out and explain to me that this would not only have been usurped this tremendous event and stolen the limelight from these astronauts and the people who have made this tremendous

achievement of first placing man on their own technology, but that it was not time for them to prove their reality to the peoples of the world by doing so. Stop and think about what has occurred during the last 22-year period of the flying saucer movement. We will see that the space people and their strategy go to great lengths to keep from proving the reality of their existence to people who are not ready, sufficiently prepared psychologically and mentally for the proof of their existence. People that hold so many false concepts that forcing such reality onto them would these concepts creating a vacuum in their mind

without being able to prove their reality. So the job remains for the flying saucer movement since the government has been telling us that flying saucers don't exist and trying to confiscate evidence for years and years and keep the people ignorant on the subject for so long. It remains for the civilian population, the flying saucer movement to be able to replace that vacuum with enough stapled items to keep those people rational and from harming the people, i a

very complicated situation. Thus another important and severe

problem for us politicians. From the wagon wide has a direction that will lead to action. indefinite period of time without having the support of the majority of the people now of

course if the majority of people are ignorant it means that many of your leaders are bound to engage in rather ignorant actions if they're carrying out the will of the people needs to be done in order to make some progress and for starting to resolve these many tremendous problems facing our world the extraterrestrials claim that they have long ago rid of their planets of poverty disease and all the destructive type of situations which we are constantly complaining about in the headlines of our newspapers they say that having transcended the same type problems that you are now experiencing it is a simple matter for us to describe the solutions to your present problem

you thousands and thousands of communications through contactees most of the problems facing mankind are now solvable through the information they have have given us one thing and it is another thing to apply that wisdom in the lives of the people on any particular planet one thing looking is another thing for people to be aware of that knowledge and to feel that such information is valuable enough to be useful in their lives. But since these answers of communicating them to the masses, these answers to the masses of our people, now through trying to reach the masses,

information from these advanced races of people, we are stymied because we do not have sufficient access to the various means of communication to reach the people of the world. These information facilities are pretty much in control of the special interest money groups of the world. We have these problems, but we don't know how to resolve them. We cannot pick ourselves up by our bootstraps and resolve these problems without some special factor coming into our life

to give us that extra boost towards resolving these problems, and that is the intervention in buying us to apply these solutions to the population here. To advance further and go into a new phase in the next decade, something new has to come about from what has occurred to date. The skeptical mass mind needs better forms of evidence. Many people have wondered why the space people haven't landed on the White House long. They've come down in the hearts of our cities, found themselves and said, take me to your leader.

Well, if somebody comes to you and says that this individual represents the sum total, I'm going to take you through the secrets and the secrets of the story, and I'll send you the story. Do you know a person saying, do I have to talk to you and say, There's been a lot ofcenturies. in the history of this nation? And I don't know in what way they could have gotten the name of this person. And that was the idea.

A lot of them had people they didn't know. It's been about ten years. They had people they didn't know. They had people they didn't know. There would be people who would have been on the same side a few years ago, and even the names of people would come out. But now they're the same people. You can connect with them.

And you can start a relationship. Thank you for your time. call a United Nations or a world government, and eventually you have someone that can speak for some total population of the planet, as has occurred on all other advanced planets. Extraterrestrials, as full-fledged members of their confederations, eventually evolved to the point of where we form a world government and have a single spokesman for this planet. Naturally, we cannot hope to communicate to the masses of our people the solutions to the problems of the world coming from people that they think don't exist.

So before we can break this communication barrier, we have to, the government, to acknowledge the existence of extraterrestrials. To permit, for example, to save face... after lying to our people for over 20 years... expeditions to our moon. To permit the government, our government, to say, we never did say that extraterrestrial life didn't exist, we never did say that flying saucers don't exist,

we did say that we don't have any evidence of flying saucers, so that we can prove to the masses of our people that they exist. We don't happen to have one in our backyard. According to reports, they do. But they're not... But before the government is going to have to develop an understanding of our people to the point of where it is practical for the politicians to say, okay, now it's true what all you people are believing.

It will probably be necessary over the next couple of years for people to be taken inside the spaceships like George Adamski was, like many others have been taken, only this time be allowed to take their cameras, to get photographic evidence of what the insides of these spaceships look like, actually go to some of these other planets, taking along congressmen, some of our esteemed scientists, and some people from the motion picture world

to attract crowds of people to the meetings that will be held. The interest of the masses of our people is developed so that they will be interested in knowing further, answers about these space people, what life is like on their planets, and what are they doing here. Any possibility is that such as these people are knots down into the underground bases on the moon,

allowing them to photograph the facilities or to televise the underground facilities directly back to us, that the government could say, yes, it's actually true, extraterrestrial life does exist, and man on this planet is not unique in the universe. The significance of this announcement would mean that the nation and attention of millions of our people. I've been told that in 1975,

it will be necessary in order to expand the awareness of our people so that they can see the tremendous potential for our cooperating with the extraterrestrials, that a mass landing will occur. Hundreds of, the extraterrestrial craft will be loaned to the governments of the United States and Russia until such a time as our own governments

develop spaceships capable of flight to the moon and back. That these spaceships will be manned by extraterrestrial crews and used on the airlines of our people, United States Airlines, and in Russia called the USSR Airlines. Each one of these craft, will be about 200 feet in diameter, 200 standing passengers,

because the flight trips will be between 10 and 15 minutes only. This location throughout our country, such as Disneyland, a small portion of these ships will be used for educational rides on half-hour flight trips around our moon and back, to give people the insight as to the potential of what living by universal laws, can bring to the people of our planet if we cooperate with the space people. In order to survive and end the pollution,

which is contributing to the demise of our planet, it is necessary to change from a money system of economics to a non-money system of economics with the extraterrestrials called universal economics, and is used on almost all advanced planets throughout the cosmos. They claim that if this planet of theirs, is carried out that we will be able to apply a non-money universal economic system,

in 1980, and this will make possible the establishment called the United World in 1983. They said that there will be a, probably be a series of earthquakes, in that if the continent of Pacifica does eventually rise, start to rise near the end of this century, some of the land areas around the periphery of the Pacific Ocean,

will sink into the ocean. People have been concerned about the possibility, that California, or at least portions of it, west of the St. Andrews Fault, would slide into the ocean. What I mean is that we are in no immediate danger, but this is a definite possibility. Pacifica, the continent of Pacifica,

My personal observation of this,

before I became involved in the flying saucer picture, that life was rather dull. I wasn't moving ahead at a very rapid pace in new experiences, and I dare say, that since that time, there have been a lot of things happened in my life, and in the lives of many others, because of the flying saucers in the picture.

Now I'm going to try tonight, bring a different slant on this picture, for a basic purpose, to attempt to bring closer to each individual here, their closeness to this picture itself, and how it might affect them. In knocking around field, such as broad as flying saucers,

and what this encompasses, you cannot help but run into many situations and many people, and you eventually have to evaluate certain things in a certain way. So, I'll start out by first evaluating a certain basic principle of man. I'll start out by analyzing, for instance, an automated device,

and say, primarily, that this automated device is basically a copy of a working principle of man. When you teach an automated device to accept into its memory cells a certain function, you teach it very similar to teaching a baby to walk. You take a step,

you take another step, and so on. And when they know how to walk, barring all accidents, they know how to walk from then on. So, this is the first scientific thing of any size that science made by copying a working principle of us.

So then, the next one, which is perhaps more important, was what we call a programmed device. An analytical computer. Now, this, again, is a machine, but it, again, was a copy of you and I in that certain factor of how to quickly arrive at a certain conclusion

from what other things we have. We might analyze it very briefly in this manner, that, for instance, learning to drive an automobile, which all of us do, we first learn to mechanically drive this automobile. And after we mechanically drive this automobile, we know how to do this.

But we are not an experienced driver until we have added the programming of what we would call an analytical computer type of a condition into this mechanism of our own, which is our own memory cells and memory. So, when we say we start to drive down the road, if we have only the automation principle, if a situation comes up in front of us,

we do not know much about it. But after driving carefully for a long period of time, we become programmed to the extent that we can counteract for situations coming up before us. This may not seem important in some ways, but when we look at this deeply enough, we realize why, in some ways, the flying saucer picture has not been accepted,

for instance, by our science. Because we are programmed from childhood on. We are perhaps those teaching us, parents and elsewhere, that perhaps this planet is the only planet that sustains life in this form. We are perhaps told in religion and so on from a basis that was set on the basis of knowing at that time that this planet

was perhaps the center of the universe. And many of the scriptures' writings were written with this in mind. And this is still taught in such a narrow form. From childhood on, we become programmed to rather narrow thinking. And this is more true in the field of science than anything else,

because science deals in the physical realms. So when we look at the failings of science to recognize this, we can brush this off somehow and make it much a disturbance to us by saying, well, this is how they were programmed. But we have something working in our favor.

We talk, especially nowadays, you hear it so often, that we can eliminate ourselves in a short period of time from the surface of this planet. I have something that I have analyzed very, very carefully for a long period of time. I hesitated to talk about it very much

because perhaps too much to something you cannot prove. As we go farther and farther into the situation, the proof seems to be coming up more and more that we are in a rapidly changing time. Now, this rapidly changing time is actually a way that this disturbing factor

of a division of people and a separation in our science and the method or the direction that we are going can actually be easier to solve as we go farther in this manner. Because of the planet's motion in space to another condition of space itself,

we analyze these motions and realize that we travel perhaps a hundred million miles per day into another area of space. We look into the background of the planet through archaeology and recognize the fact that many changes have come to this planet

before. The big plants disappeared. The big animals suddenly disappeared. They could no longer reproduce. And even the horse that we know today has gone through many changes. And it was always a sudden change that this form of life could no longer reproduce

and another form took over. So we have the evidence that these changes, not necessarily a result of a long time cooling of a planet and so on, because the universe is a rather stable thing.

But it can perhaps better be said that the planet in traveling through space encounters different conditions. And if this condition is affected as drastically by a high frequency as a lower frequency, so if the progress of this planet through a period of time

is toward a higher frequency and analyzing our situation today and taking it in a period of even 50 years, we might even say that 300 years ago with Galileo and the advent of the telescope,

from then on, we have been increasing in our understanding at a very rapid rate. And the farther we go into this, we are changing faster and faster and faster. In talking with many of the scientists,

you recognize this very easily if you talk to them this year and then again the following year, the new ideas are coming to them very, very rapidly. You might say then that the area of space that we are passing through

is influencing us a great deal because perhaps we might inject in here the idea that we live in a universe of mind which has a physical motion also which is a physical material world. But this motion of mind carries more or less

a condition that we must conform to as we pass through it. When we look at our situation today and say, well, are we going to eliminate ourselves as a civilization? We have by this analysis a very good thing in our favor

that those of us who are willing to take a changing mental attitude along with this changing condition and thus stay in tune and stay in harmony accept the fact that this change is here.

We're not denying the change because all we have to do and look for instance at the first opening riot in Los Angeles just a matter of three years ago and then look at the riots and the riots that we have had since then and say that perhaps there is

another situation that is causing this disturbance, this unrest other than just merely feelings of people. And if we want to test this we merely start at this point and observe to see if disturbances

keep going on and on regardless of what we attempt to do about this. So then we are aware at what would be optimistic observation of this and state that those people

who are willing to look at this as a cosmic drama rather than merely people just stumbling along in a way and we as the actors become involved in a situation of where each individual

is placed in a position or disharmony within this. If a man would say I liked it like it was in the good old days I wish it was the same way now and attempts to live by this he is setting a standard

a trap for himself of disharmony by being out of tune with the change that he is moving into. Whereas on the other hand if this individual would say well I live within the cosmos

I am a part of a cosmic drama that is present at my time of a rapidly changing time and I am willing to change my attitude to accept this change and accept all the disturbance as merely a side effect

of this rapid change. Then when we observe this we can see why or how rather the things that we talk about of ideal situations can actually come about. They can come about

the logical factor of those who attempting to maintain the status quo of the present time who wish to keep everything just as it was are also

getting farther and farther out of tune themselves. They are not moving into a changing situation they are attempting to keep it as it was. And this is what is ruling this planet at this present time.

We take our youngsters and we program them to kill and so on. We program our scientists not to look beyond a certain thing. We program ourselves to accept a certain thing

but this is breaking down because of the situation arising in this manner that those people who are attempting to maintain the status quo are becoming less powerful through their own efforts

of attempting to keep it as it was. This is why more and more scientists by the year are starting to look deeper and deeper and attempt to bring science

and religion closer together. Many of the fine scientists of today can tell you a very fine story of creation and so on and accept it right along with their scientific studies

and practices. At this point of it we would say that each year or each day or each week that goes by we are actually

in a better position of helping to bring in the new by accepting this change accepting the new ideas and going along with it and accepting the fact that the power that has kept us back

is losing strength or gaining new ideas. That it will be easier to help bring about this new. I don't care to call this a drastic thing of an end of civilization or so but I do feel that

what we know now will go through more and more changes until it finally reaches the condition that will be perhaps what is referred to as a millennium

because we will have reached this point of no more change. This could very well even be described as a parallel as a story of the New Testament

of a story of a new world a story of tortures of the Garden of Gethsemane where we perhaps could be said to be living in now crucifixion of the old and a resurrection of the new.

It could be put into that term and it could be talked of very scientifically. And I heard a great deal during the last two days about such things as the financial structure and so on.

I think really myself that if a new structure is needed to bring in the new that it will be possible to bring it in with new understanding that keeps permeating

our understanding to the point that we will take and bring help bring these changes about. In the science end of it I myself have experienced what is

or a portion of the breakthrough of tomorrow. I have seen energy and which can be said energy

that the flying saucers fly with. And we ordinarily think of this so far away from us in some mysterious form that we think perhaps that maybe it is hopeless

to tap this. But I can assure you that this has been demonstrated many, many times already on this planet but it has not been understood for what it was. The device

that I constructed myself and there is another gentleman in the crowd he is a fine electronic engineer Ed Skilling constructed the same type of a device just a little ahead

of when I did. We worked with another man by the name of Hendershot and we demonstrated electricity in usable form slightly different from what we generate by our generators

of conventional alternating current and there was absolutely no loss to any part of our machine. We had no fuel. It became a living device in space. It became as much of a living device

as your physical body is a living device. And I would like to in a short description of this try to bring this thought that if a man I'll try to bring this picture so that you can see

what I have been forced to see through the experiments that if a man could go beyond the farthest star that there is in our universe that's a long, long ways away but if we could go

beyond this point and still be able to see and then look back at this universe within which we live we would have to say this that in relation to this

absolutely empty space where I am looking from now that this universe ahead of us or that I left is a ball in space because in relation to absolutely empty space

it would be something in its total form. It would not be just a few planets running through space and so on. It would actually be something

a complete unit. Then we would in this mental experiment come back to this planet or this universe and take a closer look at it and as we entered it

we would say well now it is a ball in relation to absolutely nothing. It is tangible. It is substance in its whole

but within it are other small units. In relation to the whole the units within it would be small. We would see that super, super, super, super galaxy or whatever amount this would be

of a motion of a whole. We would then observe perhaps a great number of galaxies moving as we do around the sun and then on down to our single galaxy eventually and down to a planet

with its moons to individuals like you and I as units within this and right on down to atomic structure the atom. And we would associate this then with a factor of

energy motion within the whole of this as being the cause of all of this. We would also say that it had a mind also that it was an intelligent unit

that we lived within because by what stretch of imagination could man say that I have intelligence if he did not live within an intelligent universe?

Exactly where would he have got this intelligence if it was an individual thing only? And especially when we observe the intelligence of the atomic world itself and how absolutely

uniform it is we have to say that even atomic structure portrays intelligence. We look out into space and we see solar systems or suns

and so on made of atoms we have to say that there is intelligence out there also. And perhaps other individual I am's like you and I

have built bodies of this intelligent substance up there also. So coming back with this analogy now we come back to our own present situation here. When I talk of this

generator that generated electricity I was talking about
