a number of years in Inglewood, and we are a part of the understanding organization of the national organization with our headquarters in Merlin, Oregon, and it's headed by a scientist and engineer, Dr. Daniel Fry, who is our president. We are just one of many understanding organizations, and we welcome all of you who have never been here before, and I would like to introduce at this time our membership chairman, Bea Riley, so that you'll know who she is. Would you stand, Bea, Mrs. Riley? Good evening, everybody, but I don't see her here.

So to begin my talk, I want you to... I want you to know that I speak truth. I'm a full-blooded Ottawa Indian, born in a teepee on the banks of Lake Erie, 18 miles due east of Toledo, Ohio, in 1892. I had two attacks of typhoid fever when I was 20 years old, and I turned white, all but a spot on my right leg. I still have my original color. I used to be dark.

When I was young, my grandmother, White Fawn, told me of a thing that she saw in the sky round, or partly round, I don't know which, but for the want of a better name, she called it a flying canoe, and I often wondered about the flying canoe. And about the people that were in it singing. And so time flies by. I made my own living ever since I've been eight years old. My father was stabbed to death when I was six. My grandfather was laid in the grave on my eighth birthday, which is the 8th of May.

And from then on, I had my sister, Shining Star, my mother, Wild Rose. And my grandmother, White Fawn, to make a living for by hunting, fishing, and trapping. Now, my life has not been easy. I didn't go to any grade school. I learned how to read and write and talk through Sears Roebuck Catalog, the Bible, a dictionary, and a spelling book. And I tried to master the English language, but lately, I'm studying Spanish. I'm a pretty young fellow to begin studying Spanish, past 76 years old.

And one thing that I learned in this book called Spanish Self-Taught, I've learned things about the English language that I never knew before, such as verbs and adverbs and conjunctions and conjugations and deft throngs and the like of that. You couldn't ask me what they meant, and I wouldn't be able to tell you. But now I'm beginning to learn how. So it's a good school for me. Well, time went on. I left my trapping and hunting at the age of 24, or nearly 24, just three months before

my birthday. I had learned to talk English. And then my first job was fishing. Fifty cents a week, and I had a board myself. The people, the white man, took advantage of me in every way, shape, and form because on account of my illiteracy and also on account of not knowing arithmetic, and I'm pretty poor at that now when it comes to arithmetic. And so I've been cheated.

But anyway, I kept on. And I said, well, if the white man cheats me, it's not the fault of the Great Spirit. And if the white man cheats me, it's not the fault of the son of the Great Spirit, which we later on call Jesus. In my early religion, I worshipped the morning star four times a year. They told me I was nothing but a heathen. And so? After I learned how to read and write, I turned to the book of the Revelation, or the

Apocalypse, if you want to call it that, to the very last chapter in the Bible, and there I read that Jesus is the root and the offspring of David, the bright and the morning star. So what are you going to do with it? At times, they accused me of being a sun worshipper when I would look directly at the sun and dance. But no, it wasn't worshipping the sun. It was worshipping the Great Spirit beyond the sun. Do you understand now what I mean?

God. It is God. God is a spirit, and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. And I speak truth. And in Revelation 21.8, it says that the fearful, the unbelieving, the abominable, the murderers, and the whoremongers, the sorcerers, the idolaters, shall have their part in the lake which burns, with fire and brimstone, which is the second death. And I don't want to go there.

So I'm speaking truth to you tonight. So time goes on until in 1947, in the month of May, I saw my first flying saucer. White Wing was raking leaves and grass that we had cut, and I was coming up the lane at the Oak Oklahoma Indian Christian Camp and Mission, which is near Sepulpah, Oklahoma. And there was a wonderful flying saucer going right over our houses. And before this yet, I saw one, and I was placing my horse in a corral, and then I was seated at, on the picnic bench that we had there, studying the Bible. And I was at the twelfth chapter of Hebrews, and the scripture was,

I beseech you, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. So I was studying there in that chapter because the following, Sunday, I was to teach a Sunday school class. And I looked up in the air, and I saw something round. And first I thought it was an illuminated airplane. And then I looked down at my scripture again, and I looked up at that thing, and I said, well, that's no airplane, that's, what in the world is that thing?

And it landed on my place, on a place that I call a little island there. And the flying saucer was about as big around as, oh, around in here, from wall to wall, just in here. And it landed. A man got out of the thing. He ran around the place, the thing, and as though he was examining something. And all of a sudden, as I got up and walked toward it, I was frozen in my tracks. I couldn't get no further. And finally.

Finally, it rose and turned, and before you could say, sket, it was out of sight. That was my first flying saucer. Then, I have seen altogether 13 flying saucers and four spaceships. And I'm always looking into the sky. And so, time goes on. And then in 1959, on July the 12th, on a Sunday, you can look in your calendars, I'd worked hard all day long because I was going to have a spacecraft convention at my place. And I'm the first man that ever held a spacecraft convention in the state of Oklahoma.

So, I'd worked hard all that day up until 8 o'clock. And I was so interested in my work, I went without breakfast, I went without dinner, I went without supper up until 8 o'clock. I came into the home, and I looked at my clock, and it stopped at 7.30. And so, I wondered why it had stopped, because I was always very accurate in winding up my clock. And I took a book, being tired, dirty, sweaty, from my bookcase, and sat down on my cot and began to read. I thought I would read. And I read until 10 o'clock.

I would take a bath, get me a snack to eat, and go to bed. That's what I thought. However, while I was reading, on page 168 in a book called The Bell Ringers by Father Schwartzfeger, an Episcopalian priest in Dallas, Texas, my radio that I had on, listening for the news, went off like a 12-gauge shotgun, and my lights went out. I was startled at this, and so I got up,

and I went out of the door over to the left of the house where there's a light pole there and a switch box. I pulled the switch, counted ten, put it on, and the lights went on. So while I was there standing there, I felt the presence of somebody around me, and I turned around, and there was three men behind me dressed up something like bus drivers, but I noticed that they had one-piece suits on them.

And at that time, I was deputized as a deputy sheriff, and I spoke pretty roughly to these men. I said, What are you doing here? What are you doing here at this time of night? Who are you anyway? For that morning, somebody had taken a train, and wrapped it around my mailbox and pulled it out of its place, and I found it a quarter mile from my place.

And I wasn't feeling too good about it. So I spoke pretty roughly to these men. One of them, he laughed, and he called me by my name, and he said, Have you ever seen any flying saucers such as you call them? Yes, I have. What about it? Well, what do you think about them? I don't know. I haven't any idea what they're... for.

Well, would you like to go up in one? I said, No, sir. I want to keep one foot on terra firma. I said, I don't like airplanes no how. I said, Now, listen, men. I'm not fooling here. What are you doing here at night? And he kept on laughing, and he said,

Well, we are spacemen, and we came here after you. You came after me. Mister, I'm not going anywhere. I said, What did you say you're spacemen? Well, let's go in the house and talk this over. So I ushered each of them to a chair, one by the door, another by my bookcase, and another one on my cot.

And I went into the kitchen and got me a chair, sat down, and I said, Now, listen, fellas, I don't want any foolishness going around here at all. I want you to take me to the kitchen, tell me the truth, and what are you here for? And I had taken my revolver and put it in where it belongs. And I said, Now, you just up and tell me what you're here for. So one man said, Well, I better introduce myself.

He said, My name is Una Magin. I said, What did you say? And he repeated it. And I said, Well, that sounds like French. Can I be correct? He said, That's correct. He said, That's correct. So we had us a little French conversation.

And in that room, I began to study easy Spanish.

[15:02] Main address

And so he says, Now, I'll introduce the man that's on the cot here, which was this way. And he says, That is Carlos La Jara. Oh, I says, That's Spanish. And so what little Spanish I knew, I talked with him. And then in Spanish, he turned and he said, The man that sits there on your overstuffed furniture or your stuffed chair there, he says, is Otra del Venus.

Otra of Venus. He says, Hermana, aqui esta Otra del Venus. Oh, I says, I can't talk his language. And to my amazement, he says, Well, English will do. And so I found that he could speak very fluently in English, a man from Venus. And so he said, Do you know what you forgot today? I said, I don't have the least idea. You forgot to feed your dogs and your cats and your chickens today.

Me? Oh, yes. He said, You forgot. I'll let you know in a minute. So I got up and went to the kitchen. And sure enough, there was a dog food where I had cooked it for them. And then the night before, I said, Oh, I forgot. And he said, Oh, I forgot.

And he said, Oh, I forgot. And he said, Oh, I forgot. And he said, Oh, I forgot. And he said, Oh, I forgot. And he said, Oh, I forgot. And he said, Oh, I forgot. And the night before, the pans were laying there by the west door and hadn't been touched. And I said, Well, fella, you're right.

I forgot. And that's how I forgot, too, to wind my clock. However, he said, Those bolts and washers you got in your pocket there, he said, I'd put them away for future use. And that cash that you took in, I said, I'd put them away for future use. And he said, Oh, boy. I began wondering, How did he know I had any money in my pockets? He says, I'd put that, he says, where you keep your money.

And he said, You're liable to be gone four or five days. Gone four or five days, I should say not. I says, I'm not going anywhere. And so I said, I couldn't go nowhere, no how, if I wanted to. I'm dirty. I'm tired. I'm hungry. And I said, And I need a lot of rest.

I said, I'm going to go to the hospital. And he said, I'm going to go to the hospital. And I said, I'm going to go to the hospital. And he said, I'm going to go to the hospital. And he said, I'm going to go to the hospital. And I said, I've been up this morning since four o'clock and working hard. And he says, Well, that's all right. He said, I'll tell you what you better do.

You better go and throw some feed to your chickens. Of course, they're on the roost right now, but they'll find it in the morning. And you better feed your dogs. They're pretty hungry, and your cats, too. I had 11 cats at that time. So, all right. And as I was throwing feed to the chickens, the strongest, the strongest urge came upon me to go along with these men.

So, I went into the house, and I opened up, as I walked from the kitchen over to my right there, I had a washing machine. On top of the washing machine, I had a Mexican hat. And I put that on my head, and why I did that, I'll never know. But anyway, I said, Men, if I was to go anywhere, I would have to put on different clothes than I've got now. They said, No, you just come just as you are, because your other clothes has got metallic buttons on.

We don't want anything to magnetize. And Othra handed me a belt about so wide, with little doodads all around it. And he said, See if you can adjust this, he says, to your body. And I did, and I looked at it, wondered what it was. And I don't know to this day yet what the thing was. But anyway, I put it on my head. I put it around me.

And I said, All right, if you want me to go somewhere, I'll go with you. And all right, they said, We'll hide our faces, turn our backs, you lock the key, and we'll guarantee that nobody will ever touch your camp or do any vandalism while you're gone. And so I hid the key on top of the door. And I went along out to the end of the sidewalk, I turned to my left this way down the lane, and on the south side of the fence row, I crossed the creek. Some people call it Creek, but we northerners, we call it Crick.

I'm a Buckeye. I'm born in Ohio. And so I crossed that, and there was a big flying saucer. I took it to be around 290 feet. And I took it to be around 290 feet. And I took it to be around 290 feet. And I took it to be around 290 feet. And I took it to be around 290 feet.

I took it to be around 290 feet. And I took it to be around 290 feet. It was 150 feet in diameter and about 28 feet high. And here is the picture of it. As near as White Wing could draw it, this is the picture as we can nearly guess what it is. It stood about so far. And then it came down slowly to the ground.

And we went up a ramp into the saucer. into the saucer, and I was ushered to go into the second door to my right, which was about six by eight. And I noticed that on there there was a couple of chairs and a bench intact with a floor, and the only thing that I noticed in this room was a box affair about like so and about like so with some doodads around it. And they told me that they would have to strap me down to a chair for this reason, that this vehicle, but it didn't always do this, but in case that it all happened,

what was underneath the surface of the ground, that it might break in contact and give a terrible jerk and knock me down. And they didn't want me to get hurt because I wasn't used to this, and so they strapped me down there, and I was in their hands, there was nothing I could do, and I didn't know what else was going to happen, but I never feared, however, because I don't fear nobody, but not even the devil. No man do I fear. And so, all right, I sat down there, and I began to pray to the Great Spirit for assistance and help and so forth,

and I was very calm about it. However, they told me to excuse them. They were going to their work, whatever their work was, I never did find out. However, they said, you won't be here very long, and you'll have some company. So I think about two minutes went by, and now I came in from a door on this side, and there was a door here, and so from this door came a very beautiful lady, very pitch black, raven-hued hair. With faraway look, blue eyes, and she certainly was blessed with beauty.

And so she came in, she says, good evening, brother standing horse. I said, good evening. I wish to make myself acquainted with you. I says, very well, I'd like to make myself acquainted with you. My name is Mandra Olika, and I am the captain of this sheep, and I am... I am from Orion, not Orion. No, get that out of your mind.

Not the constellation of Orion, but O-R-E-A-N, out of our constellation. And she said, I think maybe I better unfasten you from this chair, because in the meantime, I had a sensation of going up very quickly. And it did give... It did give me somewhat of a jerk as it left the surface of the ground. And so she said, do you mind if I should ask you a few questions? I said, no, ma'am, I don't mind. And so she sat down, and she asked me many things about my young Indian life,

as to where I was born and so forth. And I told her, on the banks of Lake Erie, two miles from a place called Bono, Ohio, which is a name now. At that time, it was called Shepherdsville. And so she kept on asking me questions. Some I could answer, some I could not. And finally, she said, would you like to hear from Earth? I said, yes, ma'am, I'd be very glad to.

So she pushed a button, and this is what I heard. K-R-I-O-N. K-R-I-O-N. K-R-I-M-G, the good sound on your radio, 50,000 watt from the capital city of the world, oil capital city of the world, Tulsa, Oklahoma. And the next on our program will be my happiness, bye, bye, bye, bye. I learned later on that the name was Connie Francis.

And so, oh, you talk about something wonderful and plain, and you never heard such singing in all your life as you would up in the air. However, that through, and then she said, would you like to hear something else? I said, I wouldn't mind. So she pushed another button. We got K-G-H-I, Little Rock, Arkansas. And the man that was playing the violin must have been a very genius fellow because it was most beautiful, and he was playing The Herd Girl's Dream.

Well, that done, and my bowels began to press to move. Now, I'm telling you, folks, I really was in a strait because I didn't know how to ask her. I didn't know if there was such a thing as a toilet on the thing or what. And so she said, would you like to visit our control room? And I said, yes, ma'am, I would be delighted to. Well, you follow me. And so we went through this door on this side,

into the circular hall, and she says, right in there. Now, I never told her that I was depressed about my bowels. And she said, right in there, and when you get through, you push a little blue button, and she said, and you will find some wipers on the wall. And so that I did. And it filled the toilet with a sort of a blue, blue vapor-like, which took all the scent of fecal waste away.

And then she was waiting there at the door, and finally we continued then to go around to the control room. An elderly gentleman sat there, and she introduced me to him as Dr. Madakana from Clarion. Now, I don't know where Clarion is. I don't know anything about astrology. I don't know anything about, or what you call it, or astronomy.

And so he was from Clarion. Some tells me it's beyond the sun. Some say it's beyond the moon. And I don't care where it is. Anyhow, I got there. And he told me to sit down, which I did. He said, if I was to hire anybody, you'd be the very fellow I'd want you to work for me.

I said, well, I don't know. He says, why? Well, we've been watching you all day long. You've been watching me all day long. It was a funny thing that I didn't notice any flying saucer up in the air. But anyway, that's what he told me. And then he said, do you mind if I ask you any questions?

And I said, no, sir. So he asked me things about the Bible. He asked me things about education. He asked me things about Indian lore, and so forth. And I answered him what I could, some I couldn't. And then finally he said, would you like to hear from Earth? I don't mind, sir.

And then he pushed a little lever, and this is what I heard. Washington Avenue, North First Street, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th. And I heard another street called Hennepin Avenue. And then I heard, I heard, I heard,

I heard, I heard, I heard, up to 20th Street. And so I later found that we had contacted Minneapolis, Minnesota. And who knows but what they're contacting us right here tonight. That's right. And so he said, we got enough of this.

And then he pushed another, and we got a voice saying, I would like to have a plane dealer, please. Well, I didn't know what that meant, whether it was a man selling airplanes or what. But later on I found out that we had contacted Cleveland, Ohio and that in Cleveland the newspaper there is the Plain Dealer. And so he said, well, all right. He pushed another button and then we got some man somewhere, I don't know where, preaching the gospel.

And according to my knowledge of the Bible, he's preaching right down my alley. However, he said something to Mondra Ola, and she smiled to him very sweetly and she says, very well. And he bid me good night. And we went down along the wall, the corridor or the hall, around this way to the right to a place where there was a full equipped kitchen.

And she says, right in there, she says, go in there. She says, I shall treat you to a little, a little repast. And so she gave me a container about like so and about like that around with a yellow substance in it, which took all the pangs of hunger away from me. And I felt really hungry because I hadn't had a thing from, from the night before.

However, I noticed that the stove was different than anything I'd ever seen. Instead of the burners being round, they were, uh, oblong like. And, uh, I asked her, I said, well, how do you operate this stove?

Oh, she says, we get our heat from the sun and from the air. And, uh, so I didn't press her anymore about this kitchen, but I seen that everything was spick and span and most magnificently built. However, she said, I want you to, you to follow me. And I followed her and she says right in there.

And she opened the door and there was a bathroom with a little bit of a bath tub with hot and cold water and everything equipped very nicely. And there was a toilet in there too. And, uh, she said, now I want you to take a bath or a bath. She said, and, and so I took a bath. And she took my clothes And while I was washing

She had them cleaned Spick and span And brought them to me And handed them to me through the door And finally she said Now follow me And I followed her to another place And she pushed a button

A door opened And there was a bed Fully equipped Accepting that in this way There were a pillow Two pillows Intact with a mattress Now whatever that material was made of

I really don't know But it was soft like foam rubber And I looked at her Because there was no sheets There was no blankets There was no quilts or anything And I looked at her And I looked at the bed

And she says Oh, everything she says Is controlled by the control room You're the control room You will be You will have a good rest You're tired Now she said

Before you go to bed Would you promise me That you will not be mad at me If I should reprimand you For something that you do That is not very nice And I lifted up both hands And said

Well, God have mercy What is it that I do That is not very nice You have a bad habit Of using slang And you have to use it And I said Well, what do I say

She says You say goldang And that is not nice And another thing you say Is by gali And that is not nice I wonder what else How people outside of my life

Are doing by their vocabulary And so She says Now, fetal steaks And by the great horn spoon I shall not comment on that But that is your body By words

But don't use By gali And goldang And I said No, I won't do that Then I shall try to remember that And so I've broken myself Of using those two words

However She says Now, would you kiss me goodnight And so I puckered up my lips To kiss her goodnight She says Oh, no, no, no Not that way

We do not On Orian We do not kiss from lit To leap like you do Here on the earth As how then And she tapped me three times On the cheek

She says And this will suffice for now Is that the way you kiss on Orian? She says Yes I said Well, goodness knows I said

There's no fun in that Well, she said So That will suffice for now And so I went to bed And I'm telling you I had no more than Struck that bed

Until I was fast asleep And she said She told me That she would be Waking me up Very shortly And so I rap at the door

And she says Get up now, brother Standing horse Get up And I said Oh, I said I'm so sleepy That's all right

She says You get up And so I got up And I put on my clothes And met her at the door Good morning She said And it was just being

Looked like The break of day And I said And we landed on Mars At Mars There was a A ditch About from here to the wall

What we call in the Indian language A coulee I washed in there My face and my hands And then I was ushered into a A building That was of a

Octagon shape That stood upon On Oh, what's the name of it? Oh, what's the name of it? What's the matter with me That I can't think? I have to think in Indian

And immediately translate that Into English On columns And so we went up To the Dining room And there there was Biscuits

About like so And about like so Just Cooked magnificently Nice And I Noticed around the table That there was milk

And cereal And different things And fruits And juices But I didn't See any coffee And I liked to drink coffee And she

I said How about some coffee? Oh, no, no, no We don't drink coffee At all And All right So I drank

Milk And I drank juices And ate Fruit And It was different than Corn flakes But it was something

To that effect Anyway I ate my fill And I thanked everybody Very much for their Hospitality And then To make

This remark I had lost Tract of time And I believe that we were there About 45 minutes And then back again On the Via Omis That's the name

Of the flying saucer So I went to the I went back to bed And then I was Awakened And we went to The control room

Talked with Dr. Matican a while Then he asked me If I would like to look At our earth Where I lived So The thing tilted

And Through a porthole I saw Our earth About this big around And it looked like The moon shining With a

Sort of a Greasy air And it was Like a Greenish cast Well I As I say

I went to bed And had a good Rest And then We Went over The moon And I was

Awakened And on The moon I saw People I saw Bridges I saw

Craters I saw Animals I saw Buildings I saw Mountains I seen both

The moon So We didn't stop On the moon Like Buck Nelson Did We went Right on

To Venus At Venus I saw Corn There about Twelve feet Tall I saw

Wonderful Flowering Trees I saw Wonderful flowers That I had Never seen Nor expect

To see Again Until I make Another trip Up there So I Again

Went there And had a meal Now we ate Something that looked Like meat Gravy Biscuits I didn't see any

Loaves of bread But all biscuits And On the Table There were Three bottles About this

Long About that wide At the bottom And it taped Like a cone Of olive oil And I was asked To drink some

Olive oil In a little Bit of a cup And I said Oh I don't like Olive oil I don't

Like that Well they said You take A drink Of olive oil What for For an Inward

Anointing And then If you Will do This You shall Never have Constipation

So I remembered That Then There was A lady Who was A black

As a Colored Person And I Noticed That her Hair was Straight

It wasn't Kinky It was Not of A Negroid Type At all

Neither Was her Face Of a Negroid Type And she Says

Brother Standing Here Is For You To Discern

Good From Evil And I Said Thank You Lady

I Shall Try To Remember That Why She

Says You Find That In Your Bible That You

Can Read However I Found It In The

Bible And Then I Was Introduced To A

Dark Complected Man About Six Feet Four Inches

Tall And He Hardly Made A Walk And

We Took A Walk Toward A Mountain And

Then On This Side I Saw A City

In The Far Distance And It Was Very

Beautiful All The Rocks Were Very Beautiful And

Very Wicked And Very Beautiful And We Didn't

Have Any Hairpins Nor Rings Nor Earrings Nor

Bracelets Nor Necklaces Or Anything To Weigh The

made. I felt as if I was in heaven there. I heard incessant singing. I heard music. And where in the world it ever came from, that I don't know. But it was very beautiful. And then I saw a man that had two dogs, one little one, another big one. And they performed for me. And he pretended that he had died. And they went around and got on top of him and began to do like that there as though they was trying to make him come back alive again. And finally, the dogs went off and they went together, put their nose together, and then came back and took a piece of material and covered him up and then began to dig to bury him. So then I seen most wonderful birds. Birds that I had never seen before in my life there. And then other things which I could tell you

which would take me weeks to tell you. However, I believe that I was about an hour and 45 minutes on Venus. And finally, this guide, I call him, told me, he said, let's go back sheep. He meant back to the ship. And out of the nowhere, it seemed like, there came a little vehicle shape without wheels. And the door opened here and there sat a red-headed fella, just as fiery redhead as I ever saw in my life. And he says, well, well, well, an American Indian, how is everything in Nebraska? What? In Nebraska? Well, my dear good man, I said, I've never been in Nebraska. Well, he said, I'm from North Platte, Nebraska. And so he said, wherever you're going, I'll assure you that you

are going to enjoy your trip. He gave me his name, but right offhand, I can't repeat it right now. It is difficult to pronounce. However, he told me that his time was almost up there on Venus and that he would soon be back again to North Platte, Nebraska. And I finally got hold of his address there in Nebraska. And so in no time at all, we were back to the Via Omas, the flying saucer. Now, this time I went into the recreation room. And in the recreation room, they had a box as big as this pulpit here, this desk here. And the book was placed in there and the cover put over. And I was being fl chaîne with the records. And I looked going through the covertard and a book, which was my

working book. The book was www.v píi.pl. And that was the case, the visiting room. And as they were rushed past I was absolutely in awe by them, because they had turned around and I heard their singing and then the thing began to read just like it would read a book to you. And then I was taken to the record room. I was taken to the place where they keep their hot and cold water. I noticed that they had three bedrooms on this Via Omas. And then back again to the recreation room, and they told all kind of stories that it was laughable. One fella said he had gone on amel radical, as it in aught has been and he has never had while he was in Boone Gap, Arkansas, and that he'd gone out deer hunting and he walked over cobblestones until his feet were so sore that he couldn't go any further and around about 6 o'clock he thought he'd make it for home when a deer got up

and he said, I took a potluck shot, he says, at this deer and the thing veered off and he said, and I went like that there and he said, the first thing I know,

[45:56] Development of the main themes

the barrel went clinging around that there tree. And I had the awfulest time trying to get my gun off from around that tree and he said, what do you think? That there deer came right by, he says, and that there bullet, he says, was just about so fur trying its best to catch up with that deer and four or five drops of sweat, he says, was dropping from that there bullet trying its best to catch up with that deer. Another fellow said that he had a great, great, great grandfather that took an adze and hewed.

He had logs about 18 inches and built him a house. And in one corner was a grandfather's clock and according to the sunshine and so forth, the pendulum would shine on the wall and go back and forth that way. And he said, the next one got a hold of the house and the next one got a hold of the house, his father got a hold of that house and he was living in that house. And he said, you know what, all of these long years, that pendulum going back and forth

and on that wall wore a hole clean through the thing. So I imagine that he got the liar's contest. However, then they had a pea game of having a spoon full of peas and they'd marked a place there and the ones that could get over that mark without spilling any peas went out. So games like that were played and nothing unclean, nothing dirty. And I felt just like as though I was in heaven, really. And so finally, we landed on Clarion, wherever Clarion is.

And according to my judgment of time, we were there about 20 minutes. Some boys came up coming to me while others were exchanging documents and exchanging packages of things and so forth. And these boys took my big... Mexican hat off of me and they looked at it and they just laughed. I couldn't understand them, excepting one boy I took to be about 18, 19 years old. He said, Earthman, Earthman. I said, yes, I'm an Earthman.

And they'd try that there Mexican hat on their heads and they'd just laugh like everything. They just really had a good time. So back again on the Via Omis. I went back to bed for a little rest. And then we landed. On the planet Orion, O-R-E-A-N, not O-R-I-O-N, but O-R-E-A-N, out of our galaxy, at Mondo Olika's home.

And there, there was a great big patio and I noticed that her home was made of rock. And I asked her, I looked around and I couldn't see any rock nearby. And so I asked her, where did you get this rock? She said, from our moon. Right, that we have here, our moon. And as I noticed that when we went over the moon, I saw great craters and holes and so forth

as though that they had quarried rock out of there. And in this patio, there were round tables with all kinds of fruits and drinks of all kinds of fruit juices and so on. And then we went to the moon. And then when we came to eat, I saw them take half-bloomed roses and dip them in water several times like that there and then shake them good and then put them into a batter and put them into deep fat or grease of some kind.

And I noticed that they would just open up just like that there, just as beautiful as could be. And so I ate fried roses. I wonder, I wonder if it wouldn't be good for you to try that. Right. All right. And then we had other things to eat. And then I looked up.

I seen for the stars of an evening. And I said, how far are we up in the heavens? She said, you haven't even reached the first heaven yet. My goodness, I said, well, I read in the Bible about St. Paul going up into the third heaven. And I said, we haven't reached the first heaven yet. She said, no. I said, what kind of people are these?

And I met some that were thousands of years old. Manda Olika was 417 years old in 1959. And she looked just as young as she could be. And she told me that she was a grandmother and a she was a mother and a grandmother and a great grandmother. That's the way she talked. And I couldn't hardly believe it when she asked me how. Oh, that she thought that or that I thought she was. And I said, well, lady, I'm not a very good judge at age, but somewhere back here in my little mind.

I don't want to offend you. But anyway, at the most, I don't believe that you're over 28 years old. And she threw her head back and laughed. She says, I'm 417 years old. Think of that. Then when I sing that song that we will go where we never. Oh, what a wonderful thing that is. All right.

So I asked if they had a church there. Oh, yes, we have a church with a priesthood of only one faith, one Lord and one baptism. And I said, who is your Lord? They said, Jesus Christ is our Lord. And we don't have no denominations like you folks do. We don't quarrel about this. And that about the Holy Scripture. She said, we have 12 laws that we go by.

Twelve laws and which are similar to that of the Ten Commandments. And so I was taken by Mondo Olika's grandson to the church. And it is magnificently built. It was magnificent on the inside. Oh, words cannot be put into my mouth to tell you of the beauty that I saw. And that church and according to my little way of doing, I'm trying to make my chapel at 27401 Highway 74, 27401 Highway 74. I'm trying to make my little chapel to look as near as that church that I saw on Orion. Now, then.

I had been gone four days and four nights and two half nights. And the greatest ordeal of my life was that when I was told to come back to earth again, I did not want to come back and I don't want to be back now. Folks, if you could have gone through the experiences that I did, you would never want to come back. I saw water. I saw figs growing. I saw figs growing as big as what you call icebox watermelons. I saw strawberries.

Three of them would fill up one of our quart cans. I saw a berry bush with berries on it that three of them would fill up one of our quart cans. And the limbs are about from six to eight inches. And. And then from this berry bush, they have things like this year growing. Now, in 1960, I took down with typhoid fever. Ah, pardon me. I meant devil pneumonia.

I meant devil pneumonia. And so, Monroe Olika came there and gave me some medicine from Orion. Or she said. If I would not take this medicine, that I would be ushered into the spirit world. And then when I came back here to earth again, we landed on our little island. Then I went to my mailbox. I unlocked the mailbox that the mailman had. As I say, I would have been bothered with vandalism.

And according to the papers, I had been gone four days and four nights. Two nights and two half-nights. Now then, it was before, the day before Thanksgiving of 1957. I looked up into the sky. And this is what I saw. I watched this thing for better than an hour and a half. Until I got a cramp in the back of my neck. And this is a cigar-shaped affair or possibly a mothership.

It was so high that I. Hardly could discern it because there was a fog too that day. But however, through the sky, I saw something shiny coming through the air. And here it is. It's a disc. It weighs lighter than a half of a dime. On a regular scale, it doesn't weigh anything. And Buck Nelson said it was a weightless affair.

And the thickness of it. It's like my two thumbnails. And it never loses its brilliancy. It's always the same. And I have yet to find the man that's strong enough to bend this. And it's very, very light. On this side here is little grooves like on a phonograph record. It has a little spindle here with a key intact.

Now what the world of this thing is, I don't know. I've taken it to a dentist. I've taken it. I've taken it to a jewelryman. I've taken it to people that buys junk and so forth. And they cannot tell me what this particular metal is. It's from out of this world. And I imagine that that's what they make their saucers out of.

However, when I got back, this time, Mondra Uliga really did kiss me. And put her arms around me and give me a good hug. Like they do. Like they do here on the earth. However, as I stood there and they bid me goodbye, I looked and I saw it slowly going up and then out of sight. I felt like crying. And I hated the very ground that I stood on.

And finally, my two dogs, Skipper and Shorty, came up to greet me. And after I'd gotten my newspapers, I went into my house, unlocked it. And I throwed myself on the cot. And I slept for possibly a half an hour. When I was wakened by voices outdoors, White Wing was talking to her brother. And I opened the door and went out and said, Where in the world have you been?

In the world? No. I haven't been in the world. I've been out of the world. And so I told them about my trip and so on. Oh, you've been gone for about four days. And we looked all over for you. We couldn't find you.

And I said, well, here I am. And we're safe and sound. And I've got something to tell you. And I said, when I feel better and more relaxed. And so that is the first trip that I took into outer space. My next trip. My next trip was on. July the 22nd.

I should have said December the 22nd. And my wife and I, we were going to Hollywood over on Tracy Street in Hollywood. And we stopped at the bus depot. And a big bulldog-faced man came up to me and he said, Are you a standing horse? I said, yes. Now, this is not a mothership. This is an arrow ship made like an Indian arrow, somewhat like it.

And this time I was going to Jupiter. And this man took me, Helder Skelter, out into the desert way. And I entered into this Entronia ship, the arrow ship. And I seated myself. And then a band began to play. Wonderful music, as ever you heard in your life. And I said, where am I going? They said, to Jupiter.

And in no time at all, we was up on Jupiter. We entered into a city. I never learned the name of the city. However, I was taken into a place like a theater. And there were seats and the people were just full there. There. And while I was there, I seen what represented the tribes of five Indians throwing spears at one another.

And my heart was up in my mouth. I didn't know how in the world that they ever dodged those spears, but they did. And such dancing and singing as I ever heard in my life was on Jupiter. And then it was an entertainment to the master. And the thing that got me when I was introduced to the master that I had never seen before in my life, that fellow had a real black eye and one real deep blue eye. I never heard of or seen any such thing.

And when he grabbed a hold of my hand, I felt a shock going up into my arm. And so on Jupiter, I was taken into the place where they have the, you know, the, you know, the, you know, the, you know, the, you know, the, you know, the, you know, the, you know, the, you know, the, you know, the, you know, the, you know, the, you know, the, you know, the, you know, the, you know, the, you know, the, you know, the speeches and so forth. And I heard the master there. And I have quite a number of things written down according to my memory,

which would take too long for me to tell you. And however, they played a disc. And this disc, on this disc, it was about me, mind you. And be careful, folks. Because your life is being recorded. Every one of you. And some of the things that I heard, I rejoiced about. And some of the things that I had done in my lifetime, I didn't want to hear about.

And the master told me that the things that I was, that they had recorded, that I would have to meet that in the future. And that would decide my destination for my future life. Now then, I also went to the park. I ate there, what they call, what we call refractory. And I took a swim on Jupiter. And then in this marble building, which was magnificently made, I went up the steps after this wonderful entertainment,

which was to the master of Jupiter. Jupiter and St. George. Who in the world is St. George? Anybody know? What is St. George? I ask people about St. George, and all the answer I get that he killed a dragon. Well, all right, if he killed a dragon, what on earth ever made a saint out of him? That's what I want to know.

And who is this man? Who is he? I don't know. I yet got that to find out. However, we went. Then, to the intronia, and this was on the December, in the month of December. And then when we came back to earth, one man came up to me and he said, Say, I've got a telepathic message from your wife.

Would you like to talk to her? I said, What? How could I talk to my wife? Well, he says, Just follow me. And we went back to the fourth compartment there at a desk, and on the wall, there was a little bit of an outfit about this big with a mouthpiece to it, and then a tube that I put into my ear. And how in the world that man got through on the telephone,

the telephone service got the number of my wife's niece at Hollywood, I shall never be able to find out. But according to the conversation that I had heard, that we would be on the earth about 8 p.m. And so I told that to my wife. And she was very glad that I could talk to her. And in the meantime, she told her niece, she said, If the chief could, I wish that he would talk to me from that Antronia ship, which he did.

However, when we landed, we landed out there on the desert, and then we took the Engar car, that little car there, as I showed you before, without wheels, which is manned by electromagnetic energy. And we landed in front of it. And imagine the astonishment of the people there at that bus going in and out from it. And then across the street, there were two police that was arresting a couple of men. And I'd seen them take a long revolver out of a holster this way from one of these men, empty the, take the shells out of it, and then throw it into the police car.

One police saw me, and he beckoned for me to come to him. And I said, No, I can't. Because I was told not to stop and talk to anyone until I got to my destination. And so I went to the depot. I went into the toilet first, and then came out, and I went into the phone booth, and I called up again for them to come after me. And I got there in time for Christmas supper. My goodness, what a wonderful dinner they must have had.

Because I ate some of the leftovers anyway. And what rejoicing there was when I come in and my wife saw me. And so this is the ending of my second trip. And I don't know. My clock here says 20 minutes to 10. Do we have time for questions? How much? Fifteen minutes?

Now, anyone of you that wants to ask me questions, I'll be glad to answer you if I can. All right. The chief here says stand up for about 10 minutes and take a break and then come back. Thank you, Chief Standing Horse. Ladies and gentlemen, we have enjoyed this talk by Chief Standing Horse. There will be a 10-minute intermission. After the 10-minute intermission, we'll come back, have a drawing for a door prize,

and then we'll have written questions and answers. Thank you. The first Sunday in each month is a Holy Communion celebrated there. And then the first Saturday in each month, we have a seance at the place. I'm going to answer these questions the best I can. One says, please describe the spaceship shaped like an arrow. How long, wide, and high was this spacecraft? Thank you.

The airship, the Antronia, was two and a half miles long. And I was told that if they had to, that they could go from one planet to another in five minutes of our time. That certainly is... Huh? Five minutes. Five minutes of our time. That's what it said, wasn't it?

That's really at some speed.

[01:08:29] Questions and closing discussion

All right. The next is, please describe how a flying saucer works. It's manned by electromagnetic energy. They get their power out of the air. Were these strips in the physical body or etheric body? I'm a human being, just the same as you. I have a body the same as you. I have a body the same as you.

I have a body the same as you. I have a body the same as you. I have a body the same as you. I have a body the same as you. I have the same kind of blood flowing through my veins as you do. And I was taken up in the physical body. Here's some little bitty writing. Were you ever picked up for these...

Where were you ever picked up for these trips? The first trip was at the Oklahoma Indian Christian Camp, two and a half miles north and east of Sepulpa, Oklahoma, S-A-U, S-A-P-U-L-P-A, Sepulpa, Oklahoma. That's 11 miles east side of Tulsa. And what year was it? It was in July the 12th, 1959. I was gone four days and four nights and two half nights.

Where? When? When you visited Jupiter, that was in December the 22nd of 1962. And I came back on Christmas Day. From Jupiter, I went into this room where there was a screen about 12 foot by 18 feet, just like a screen on your radio. I was taken to Australia. Pardon?

Television. Like a television. I was taken to Australia on that screen. And in Australia, I saw Christmas doings there to Jesus Christ. I was taken to London, England, and there at the St. Paul's Church and also at the Westminster Abbey. And when... Churchill was taken into the church, I told my wife what would come first.

And everything that I told her was just exactly alike. So I was really there. You may have said, but I didn't get it only, December the 22nd. December 22nd to December the 25th. How did they... How did they... Estimate their ages on Orion in relation to our Earth time? I want you to know that when you read the Bible,

the oldest man living was Methuselah. If he had lived one full thousand years, he would have had but one day's experience with God. Adam didn't live that long. Had he lived one thousand years, he'd have had one day's experience with God. And you read in the Bible that one day with God is as a thousand years. As a thousand years of our years is one day with God. And so, had he lived just that full filled thousand years,

he would have only had one day with God. And we read in the scriptures that in the day that thou eatest thereof, thou shalt surely die. And there's a lot of controversy about that. About his children and so forth, that he didn't die in the day that he had eaten of the forbidden fruit. And there's controversy as to what kind of fruit that was. Well, it was a fruit like unto the calamine tree.

The original... You didn't really answer that question, honey. The original fruit, I mean the manuscripts of the Bible, is entirely lost to mankind. So you ask for how they would estimate the time. And time on Orion is 18 hours day. 18 hours day. I should have said 18 hours day and 18 hours night.

36 hours. Then different than our time. Is that answering it? Would you please tell me more about your dog? Yes. On September the 5th, my dog was at my door lying on a mat. And he ran toward my chapel and I says, Come here, little puppy.

I want to shake. I want to get acquainted with you. And he came right back to me and he held up his paw to shake hands. He's pure white. Just as white as any paper you ever saw. And he's intelligent. He's loving. Kind.

And also, he likes to get after gophers, believe me. And my dog was sent to me as a present from Mandra Olika of Orion. And he was delivered to me by a spaceman whose name was uh... Litika. And in December, I saw Litika. He landed in my place right behind my garage with his flying saucer. And in the flying saucer, there were two women in there with him.

And so I had a little conversation with them. And then finally, they bid me goodbye and told me that my trip to outer space was postponed. And also, that of Frank Stranges, that his trip was postponed. Now, if he's gone to outer space since that time, I don't know a thing about it. Maybe you do. Will the space people help us to keep from blowing ourselves to bits with the atom bomb? Yes, they will. But the Earth...

As prophesied in the book of Revelation, will be burned by fire. According to the space people, back there in 1959, it was out of balance eight degrees. And if it goes 14 degrees, it'll catch fire. And then Jesus said that he would shorten the days for the elect's sake, lest no flesh would be saved.

And believe you me, the Bible is true. And let's see here. Were there trips made in a dream, state or spiritual body? In other words, were these not psychic experiences? Capital N-O. I went up in body. I've had two astral trips, and I know the difference.

The first one was before I could talk. And the second one was before I could talk. I was in English in Toledo, Ohio. And I went into a house, and there was a sickly lady there in that house. They had just moved in there. And she was laying on a soldier's cot, and I rubbed her head all night long

until five minutes to four in the morning. And then, just like that, I was at the steps of my place. I went up the steps, went through the wooden doors, two of them, and then into the front room, and then into the dining room.

And I tried to take things from the dining room table. I felt hungry, but my fingers would go right down through the stuff, it seemed like, and I couldn't understand that. And I went into my bedroom, and there I looked at my body laying there, dormant,

and I went up to it, and I said, from head to foot, what is this? Am I dead? Where am I? What is this? And I looked,

and Eddie Thompson, here at my right in another bed, and when I had left, his face was to the wall, and by this time, it was turned this way. His body had turned this way. And I went to my bed,

and like something picked me up and dropped me back into my body, and you talk about cold ice, it was that. And then, finally, I got up, I walked a couple of times in my bedroom, I lit a match, looked at the clock,

and it was exactly four o'clock. And so, that was my first astral trip. My second astral trip was at my home in Oklahoma, near Sepulveda, where I was taken up, and I went flying through the air,

and I saw bridges, I saw rivers, I saw streetcars, I saw trains, I saw automobiles, I saw mountains, and so on. And where do you suppose I landed at?

On the King's Highway, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. And there, I met a young lady, about 22 years old at that time, and she gave me the name of Donna Heathcote. Maybe you've heard of her. She was quite a flying saucer fan and had a station there

in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. And we went all over that town. And she, at the same time, had an astral projection, and she said, and when I left her, I left her on the Queen's Highway, and back again to my place.

My wife knows just exactly where my bed was and where my desk was and where my dresser was and where the door was that I went right from through. And as soon as I got home, I got up and I wrote

319 Union Street, Toronto, Ontario, Canada. And I wrote to her, and in a week's time, I got a letter from her. And so we corresponded quite a long time, just for fun. And finally, she met some young man

that made her heart palpitate towards him more than usual. And she married him, and of course, I just quit corresponding. Well, so my trips, my dear people, were not... not from a psychic standpoint, but from a physical standpoint.

Please describe the spaceship like an arrow. It's two and a half miles long, and on the inside, I took it to be about 20 feet in diameter. That is across, you know. And it's about as high

as this here ceiling. And I want to tell you something else that possibly I've forgotten, that when you go back, beyond the blue, it's inky black. And I saw all kinds of flying things coming towards us,

and they'd veer off. Now, the electromagnetic energy pole ran alongside of the ship. And Dharma Leach, that's a funny name, isn't it, was the captain of that ship. She was 510 years old in 1962. Please.

Please. Please. Please. Please. Please. Please. Please. Please.

Please. Please. Please. Please. Please. Please. Please. Please.

Please. Please. Please. Please. Please. Please. Please. Please.

Please. Please. Please. Thank you very much, Chief Standing Horse and Mrs. Napoli Standing Horse. Now I'll turn the meeting back to our president, Mr. Galbeck.

I know that you must have all enjoyed this talk from Chief Standing Horse. If you did as much as I did, I know that you were We really appreciate him, and let's give him a real good applause and a big hand. Thank you, and now remember that next month we will not have a meeting, but are there any questions that you would like answered here? There will be cards on the desk as you go out there,

but if you're going to his chapel, his wife and I made a trip out there to visit them and made arrangements for this meeting tonight, and it's a wonderful experience. I know that you'll really enjoy it, and particularly they have a...
