It's certainly a pleasure to see all these smiling faces here this evening. And I'd like to set the stage for our sentiment tonight. First thing, every time I talk with people, I can't visualize myself talking to people. I like to regard these sessions as mind-sharing sessions, no matter what I talk about. And tonight, let's do just that. Let's regard this as a mind-sharing session. And first, I'll share my mind with you. And of course, if you wish, you can share your minds with me at that time. Afterward, I ask that you share your minds with me audibly, because we're going to have a question-and-answer session. And I invite you to ask any question you feel like. If you feel your question is foolish, throw away that feeling, because sometimes the greatest strides forward are met through answering something that you feel is foolish. Some of the most foolish questions. Tonight, we're going to talk about extrasensory perception,

but really, it isn't extrasensory at all. It's intrasensory. It's perception inside the senses. If you regard your senses as sight, hearing, feel, taste, smell, and so on,

there is one more that you are born with, and it is communication. The ability to communicate mind to mind. Did you know that you have two bodies? That's right, I said two bodies. Of course, you're acquainted with the one which you feed, you clothe, and you house, and you put it to work, and you put it to sleep. But there's another one, which you know perhaps only in your dreams, which you knew much better in your childhood. Today, we call it our subconscious mind, and actually we are at the stage now where we can explain this second body. I like to call it body two. We can explain this second body even in the field of nuclear physics, of particle physics. We are at the point now where we can just about explain how it can travel, how it can communicate, and I can't go into the technical details of this tonight because it's a lot of work. But I can tell you that it's a lot of work. And I can tell you that it's a lot of work.

And I can tell you that it's a lot of work. And I can tell you that it's a lot of work. It's just too deep. But believe me, we are at that stage. About two years ago, last April, we were sort of exposed to this for the first time when we realized that our own child could communicate directly mind-to-mind just as well as she could verbally. One day, Eleanor was driving home from the store, and young Caroline was sitting by her side in the car, and as they arrived at the house, Eleanor noticed Caroline's bike up on the front porch. And she thought to herself, why, there's Caroline's bike on the porch. I'll have to ask Chan to bring it in when he comes home. Caroline said out loud, I'll ask him. I'll think that over. But this got to be quite a commonplace occurrence. When we realized that she was just communicating with us in thought communication as easily as we were communicating with her verbally, we proceeded to investigate this a little bit more.

And at the time, we were both suffering from whiplash injuries from having been struck by a drunk driver right out here on La Tijera on the off-ramp from the freeway. And since the doctors couldn't tell us what was wrong with us, we had undertaken a study of neurology. And we found out that the neurological structure of the equilibrium system was the only possible explanation for the communication problem. And that's why we're going to talk about the communication aspect involved. Now, in your equilibrium system, you have little loops inside your ears. I'm sure you must have heard of these. There are two vertical loops and one horizontal loop. And these vertical loops sense energy going by in a horizontal direction. And the horizontal loop senses energy going by in a vertical direction. It is strange that the there are two vertical loops and one horizontal loop. This means that nature has accommodated us to the fact that horizontal energy

is far less than vertical energy. We don't need so much of a sensitive system in the vertical direction as we do in the horizontal direction. Well, I call these systems a glide path and localizer because they give us directional reference with which we establish our equilibrium. If you couldn't sense straight up and horizontal direction, you couldn't even be sitting in the chairs where you are right now. To get up and walk out of this room, you must have some vertical and horizontal reference or you couldn't direct your muscles to do what they must do to take you out of the room to make you walk in an orderly fashion. Let's take something very simple. Take your hand and you put it here and you instruct with your mind for your hand to move. To move from there to there. And the muscles carry out that response and carry out those instructions. Now, in order to do that, your hand must have a reference of where it is, where it must go,

and where it has been. It can only do this if the equilibrium loops are supplying the equilibrium system with that proper reference. In an automatic pilot system in an airplane, it's very simple. There is a vertical gyroscope on the left side of the airplane. There is a vertical gyroscope on the right side of the airplane. And a horizontal gyroscope doing the same thing for the automatic pilot. Well, now we are so used to utilizing this directional information as it arrives in these loops that's all we honor. That's all we observe. Because really that's all that's necessary for us to observe. So if any other information arrives through those loops, we sort of ignore it. Or at least we don't know it's there. But believe you me, your subconscious mind, which we find is really your body too, knows that it is there. We decided to set up an experiment whereby we could sense the information content of this energy flow through these loops

and utilize the directional information to pick it out. Now, it's a fact that in primates, in monkeys and apes and gorillas, if you dissect this animal, you'll find that his equilibrium system goes down his spinal cord and out every nerve and goes to every muscle in his body. If you follow those same nerves in a duck or a goose, you'll find that the nerves are very, very highly developed. And this is why geese and ducks can navigate so well. And how they have such a highly sensitive directional system. In the human, however, these nerves are so fine, that as they leave the spinal column and go out the spinal, in between the vertebra, you can't trace them. They're that fine. But believe me, they have to go to every muscle in your body or you couldn't do the things you do. But however, we do understand why a human can't go swinging from a tree and vine to vine as easily as a monkey or gorilla does, because he just does not have

the same equilibrium nervous system. However, it's there. So what we decided to do was to build some kind of a communications indicator so that we could have an indication that we could point to in some fashion. Using the equilibrium system to both receive the information in the loops and direct the arm to point to where we should point. Then we decided also we should reduce the trouble a little bit more by reducing the dimensions to two. Instead of making it a three-dimensional problem, make something that we could slide over this communications board. And what we used really was a little jigger glass. So then we had it reduced to two dimensions. We could slide this jigger glass over the board. And by all concepts of communications theory, we built the best possible board we could build. Incidentally, this brings up a point. In this particular field of extrasensory perception, there is very little that I have found in the way of applying

communications theory to the problems involved in solving this mystery. Now, communications theory is an exact science. I spent years in it, in aircraft. The military must have a highly developed communications system for several reasons. It's one thing to communicate with another person like you lift up a telephone and talk to somebody. But you cannot talk to somebody over the telephone unless you first address them. You dial a number. Second, after they answer, you have to identify them. Is this so-and-so? They must identify themselves. Yes, this is so-and-so. So you have address, identification. Then how do you authenticate that the person you're talking to is who they say they are? This is authentication. Aren't you the one I saw at the dance two weeks ago over at the so-and-so club? Yes, I am. There's authentication. So then, of course, in military communications, there is the aspect of jamming and anti-jamming and anti-anti-jamming.

So we have these aspects also. Address, identification, authentication, jamming, and anti-jamming. We found, by the way, that this kind of communication mind-to-mind communication is the most jammable kind of communication there is. Well, we built this board, and believe it or not, it turned out to be nothing more than a Ouija board. I'd never seen one before. It's hard to believe, but I'd never seen a Ouija board. But this is quite different from any I'd ever seen. I brought one along tonight. And this is what we first used. There it is, a plain alphabet. And you notice it's elliptical. And there are, there are numbers, and there are certain sayings here, which are usual sayings of conversation. We have another one with a Greek alphabet on it, which does wonders for us in ancient Mayan, and there's the language. But this one does wonders too. Now, there's nothing mysterious about a Ouija board or a communications board like this.

For the sliding thing, we just use a plain old jigger glass. I got this from a bar down in, oh, one of the desert cities. I'd forgotten which one it was. That's how simple it is. There is nothing mysterious about that board. All it does for you is to provide you with an instrument for your body to use. Now, why it works is very interesting. And what it's doing is very interesting. When, as a child, you spake as a child, believe me, you spake with more truth than an adult. Because when you're born, you are born with your body one and your body two. That means your subconscious and conscious minds acting as one mind, you can communicate, you could communicate, mind to mind, and at the same time talk out loud what you were thinking mind to mind. And really, a child doesn't know the difference between the two. But on a child's first exposure to society, of the group concept, for instance, kindergarten, or Sunday school, or what have you,

or playground, it's here that he learns the first rule of social maturity. The measure of your social maturity in our society is your ability to hide what's in your mind. And that's true. And it is at this time a child, a child learns not only that he can hide what's in his subconscious mind, but that he must to attain the social maturity that we force on that child in the name of conformity. Since we found this out, believe me, we've seen, we've watched little children, and we've seen this happen. It takes about two weeks in kindergarten. How many of you remember the Danny Kaye show, I think it was two years ago, this Christmas, when he had this little girl, Victoria, sitting on his lap, singing a super-califragilisticexpialidocious, looking at him with starry eyes. Now, Danny Kaye is a very successful entertainer. And believe me, successful entertainers are successful because they put out with their conscious mind the same signal

that they're putting out with their conscious and subconscious. This means that a good entertainer is not only commanding the attention of his audience's conscious minds, but also their subconscious minds. And here this child was sitting on his lap, thinking to herself, my God, at last here's a human, an adult, who's putting out the same thought with his conscious mind that he is with his subconscious. Only, of course, she didn't know conscious and subconscious. And she was just reflecting back to him the words he was thinking to her in singing this song. And her starry eyes just shone like, well, like blue-white stars. After this, her mother took her out, gave her dancing lessons and acting lessons and elocution lessons and this lesson and that lesson and pressure and pressure and pressure of society. And when she came back on the show, her conscious and subconscious had been severed. You remember she rebelled against her lessons.

And she was of no use. She had lost that spark. How many of you saw that sequence on his shows? That's what happened to poor little Victoria. It can happen. It does happen. It's the demand of our society. Well, now once this severance is made between conscious and subconscious, we as adults who say, well, I want to find my ESP and we've got it. Believe me, every one of you have it. Every one of you has it. We must supply some external link to replace the internal one that has been severed. And that's what this board does. It provides a visual means of substituting for that link that is severed in your conscious and subconscious in your own mind and body. I can guarantee you that if you put this to work and do this every night, all for an hour or two every night, and just take what happens on faith, and don't question it, don't doubt it, don't try to authenticate it until you know how to use it, within two weeks you can throw it away

because your own conscious and subconscious have been reconnected and you won't need the board. I taught a man in North Hollywood one night. My wife was there. And within one day he threw away the board. It's just amazing. And it takes a person with a free mind to do that. You have to be ready, willing, and eager to share your mind with the rest of the world. If you have anything to hide, believe me, it's not being hidden except from others' conscious minds. We are all already communicating with each other on this basis. Now it's a curious thing that once you get into this, and I guarantee you this is going to happen if you get into it, how many of you think you're going to try this at home? If you try it, I can guarantee you one thing, you're going to get into a world that you're not even dreaming of right now. So we might as well drag it out and lay it on the table and talk about it. You'll find that you'll be talking

to people who say they're dead, people who are alive, and believe me, if there is any proof at all that there is an eternity, here it is. If there is any proof that body too exists as a complete separate entity, here it is. Now we had our own unique method of testing this to find out whether it were really true that this does reconnect conscious and subconscious minds. We have two teenage children, and on an Easter vacation two years ago, when we first discovered this, we just tested it, we tested it in our family, put it to work, and by the end of Easter vacation, I decided it was time to put it to the real acid test. So I took our teenage son and sent him a whole pack of cards, which I could look at. And this is just a summary of the test. It wasn't exactly like this, but in essence what I sent him was the suit of every card, not the number, but just the suit. So each card was a choice of one out of four in the suits until you get to the end

where there's no longer that choice. He got the whole pack of cards. Now what's bridge? What's poker? But he showed that this mind-to-mind communication is also a means of transfer of factual information. But you first must have faith that it works. Isn't that funny? If you doubt it, it won't work. If you have faith, it will, and then you can put it to the test, as we did. Have any of you ever read R. DeWitt Miller's book, You Do Take It With You? If you haven't read that book, write the name down now, please, because this is one of the best books I know written on this subject. You Do Take It With You by R. DeWitt Miller. In it, he describes many experiences and many tests where this body, too, has been nailed down pretty well as to what it is and what it does. We've pretty well nailed it down from a viewpoint of particle physics. But believe me, some of the most dramatic experiences are those in communicating with people who say they are dead.

Now, we have tried this, and we have communicated with someone, for instance, who says he is Winston Churchill. And you don't have to wait and see. You can address. Remember, if you mail a letter, you must write an address on the front. If you communicate by this means, you ask for whoever you want to talk to. Believe me, you get him or her. So this answer came back from Winston Churchill, and we talked to him about South Africa. And believe you me, the most Churchillian prose imaginable came through about how South Africa should have her freedom. There are also many experiences related in DeWitt's book, on Miller's book, about what happens at death to body, too. How many of us had dreams when we were younger of flying? I mean, just flying, just ourselves, taking off. Believe me again when I say that this is really your body, too, taking off when you're asleep and actually flying on its own. It goes. And the only reason it goes

in our dreams, seemingly limited by the things that our body, one, is limited by, is because we think it's that way. It's really not limited that way. I know an optometrist in Nebraska who was a young child up to age 10, was locked in his room by his mother and father almost daily for punishment for the slightest thing, he was locked in his room. And it's, to me, the most amazing philosophy of a young child when he was, say, five or six years old. He determined not to let resentment defeat him. Imagine that. So he would lie on his bed in his room, on his back, and close his eyes and take imaginary trips all over the world. Consciously, now. He wasn't asleep. He was awake. And he said he visited every place he could in the world in his imagination. And he never really was able to go check up on what he saw. But today, this man, who was in his forties, can drive along a highway toward a town he's never been in and send his body to a head

and describe every store in that town to you. Every automobile parked on the side of the street. He can describe every car coming toward him on the highway out of sight. Make, color, everything. And he never knew how he could do that till he and I had a chat about this. Then he understood. Really, the only way he developed this was to free himself first of resentment against his parents for what they were doing. We find that those who retain ESP, quotation marks ESP, as they grow older, are those who grew up in an environment in their homes of intellectual and spiritual freedom. We have uncovered what appears to us to be some kind of a tragedy of our civilization, because in communicating, as we do sometimes, we find that there are those who just can't, who don't have this ability, whose subconscious minds can't even communicate this way. They're shut off completely from the spiritual world. And we find invariably that these are those

who have been raised or children who are being raised in an environment of heavy parental pressure, heavy indoctrination from school, or severe indoctrination from church. It will drive this away. It's the most amazing thing in the world and tragic too. Now we found out something else. We found out that there is a central control. You can call it whatever you want to. You can call it God, which is the name the Hebrews gave him. To me, as far as we've been able to find out, there is really nothing of male or female about this central control. It's just a source of knowledge that seems unending. One day, not so long ago, maybe two or three months ago, we were in our house and a neighbor came in who wanted to know something which was rather inconsequential about his work and his job and his boss and everything else. But he wanted to find out this way. And he asked if we could help him. So he sat down and we said, sure. So we addressed central control

and before anything else could happen, the answer came back after we gave this man's name. The answer came back, technically dead. We said, what? Why? Born dead. What do you mean? This person was born dead because his mother had excessive x-rays in her uterus while pregnant. And had pernicious anemia. Born dead, later revived. Well, we sat there and he just dropped his jaw because none of us were thinking of this. His wife had never heard this story. And he said, that's true. That's exactly true. That happened to me. If you want to check on it, call up my mother who lives down in Long Beach. We didn't check on it. That so surprised us that day. I think that, if there were any doubts in my wife's mind at that point, they were wiped out right then and there. I started to talk about sudden death. Can you imagine what happens when a person dies and finds out that he's not really dead? It's only this temporary castle that's gone.

This permanent house survives. This body too. And how many shocks there are to those who die suddenly to find out they're not dead, but they don't really know they're not dead. If you're ever in a position where you meet death suddenly, the first thing you want to do afterward is to continue doing what you were doing beforehand. Because your body is so real, this body too, that you don't realize that it's not the same thing that got killed. The first thing that might bring you to a halt in your actions is the realization that you have no clothes on. How many of you had some dreams as a child that you had no clothes on? Most everybody does this. It's really your body too, and all it takes is a thought like that and it's got clothes on. Just like that. I can tell you exactly what happened in the Grand Canyon crash of that United Airlines DC-6 and the TWA Constellation. Remember that? All these people wound up in the canyon.

Strangers. And yet, sharing an adventure for the first time, finding out that they weren't really dead at all. They just found eternity rather precipitously, all together. Well now, if you find yourself in this position, there are several tests, believe me, that you can make. You can walk up to somebody who's alive and you yell in their ear, take a pretty girl and say, you're a skunk. She'll act like you didn't, you weren't even there. Or you take your finger and pass it through a fence post. It'll go right through. The first thing you might do is to start regretting something that you didn't finish. If you throw that away immediately, then you've begun. Because there's no room for regret. There's only room for adventure. And starting this permanent adventure, it's there. Believe me, it's there. Well now,

we get back to this world we're sitting here. We've all got our body ones. Believe me, we're all communicating with each other, though. We are, whether we realize it or not. We're sharing minds tonight. I mean our twos. Do you realize that if our society were to take that next big step, where there was no more crime, where there were no more war, do you realize what it would have to be? We would have to reverse this prime requirement for social maturity and say that your measure of social maturity is really within your ability to share what's in your mind. Who would dare have an evil thought? Who would dare plan a crime? Who would dare plan a war? Wouldn't it be interesting if one of the rules of psychiatry were that if you were hiding what's in your mind, that would be time for treatment? These are not what I would call

words of conformity. And yet we live in a non-conformist age. Today, there are fewer high school and college people allied with the church than ever before in this country. These young people are looking for answers that we're not giving them, we in the older generation. They're not ready, willing and eager to take the indoctrination that we took as children. They want reason. And it's up to us to face up to the reality and the necessity of giving them that. We won't give them the world they want or that we want either unless we face up to the next big step, that society must take. We've got to live together. We might as well learn. We've got to share our minds too. Thank you very much.

Now, if you'd like to take a stretch, go ahead. We're going right ahead with a question and answer period right now. If you have questions, fire away. Yes.

Can I take your questions one at a time? All right. The first question is, will the Ouija board work like this board? The answer is, yes, it will. Now, one of the things wrong with most Ouija boards you buy is that it's got designs in the corners which don't mean anything. These actually distract from the communications. So if you buy a Ouija board, cover up those designs in the corners. And it will serve you just about as well. We expect to have one like this on the market within a few months. So if you buy a Ouija board, use it. Fine, it'll serve you just as well. This business of touching knees is not necessary. If two or three people use a communications or a Ouija board together, it works much better than just one. Why? Because you're adding strengths of the signals you receive. And if it works properly, if it's working properly for you, it'll appear to each one of you as if the others are doing all the pushing on this thing.

Each one feels he's not doing anything. He's just along for the ride. Then it's working properly. And the more you work, the faster it'll go. Then you can take one off. Then two of you work together. And then take one of those off. Finally, you'll find one of you can do it all alone. Some of you might try it alone at first and find that it works beautifully alone. Each one has its own different sensitivity. Your other question?

Did you all hear that question? If a person dies suddenly, and the person is concerned over something they have not finished, would they or could they remain in that area? Yes, they could remain in that area.

[35:00] The second body and quasi-scientific explanation

But they would find, and this explains many of the ghost stories, however, they would soon find out that there's not much they can do about that unfinished project. And the best thing they could do would be to just forget it and go on to this new life. There are so many, I must say, most extremely beautiful descriptions of this life that it's hard to repeat them. And it's far better to take the adventurous step than to stay here. There were a host of questions back here. Yes? Well, from the communication that we have done and others have done, I can do this. However, in June 1958, I had a complete heart stoppage myself where I died and came back. And believe you me, it was a wonderful experience. I'm in no hurry to do it again. But I've been there, you might say. You had a question. Yes?

Well, the answer to that I'll give you in the form of a question. Can you explain to me why this works? Well, it's the same thing. And could I go into that in detail to you, I would be breaking security. All right? Yes. But it's in the field of particle physics. The smallest particle today that we know of is what? The neutrino? The photon? It's in particles smaller than that. There's your clue.

When will your son get a job? He's been unemployed for a long time. I really can't tell you when. But you know what comes to me? When he wants to. I'm sorry, I can't explain it. I could be wrong, but that's...

The question was a person entering a room with his sensitive electrical equipment. Well, I can think of one field, yes, and that's the electrical stations which record currents in the earth, electrical currents. And sometimes the readings are so fine that my own presence around my own instrumentation disrupted it. I had to take special measures to isolate the... But it was explainable. There was nothing mysterious about it. Other than that,

I don't know anything about it.

The question's over here. Yes. No, I don't think that's so. I think that insanity sometimes is an escape from reality. And believe me, we can be just as realists without having a connection between conscious and subconscious as not. Now, we've had other cases where all the indications in the world show us that some body twos can invade a person and actually take up residence in a person's body one, a living person's body one. Remember the three faces of Eve? This would be the explanation of that. Where this dead person's body two can invade and take up. We had a case of a young boy whom if we believe what we found, we'd have to say that Nazi soldiers, SS soldiers, had taken up residence in his body. Believe it or not. And this boy was a real mixture of personalities. He was having all kinds of problems. What's that? Yes?

The question was first about Ouija board. I didn't quite understand it. Could you repeat it?

Well, first of all, let's talk about transmitting and receiving The art of transmitting and the art of receiving are two separate things. Each is a different frame of mind. In order to be a good transmitter you must be able to put out a single, clear, uncluttered, unjammed thought. You must be able to concentrate on one thing to the exclusion of everything else. That means that your conscious and subconscious mind are putting that out as one thought. If you sit at a Ouija board and you want to... Do you know that Ouija means yes, yes French and German for yes, yes? That's all it is. It's a yes, yes board. There's nothing mysterious about it. Believe me. It's just a communications instrument in front of you. Don't ask the board anything. It'll never answer you. But you address somebody. I want to talk to my mother in Klamath Falls. But identifier Susan Mabel Jones, who was the daughter of so-and-so and who lives at so-and-so.

My gosh, you've identified her, haven't you? You must identify whom you're talking to. I want to talk... I want everybody off this link. I want to talk to just Susan Mabel Jones, husband of so-and-so Jones, daughter of so-and-so. And boy, the answer will come through hello or yes, one or the other. Then you talk, but it's not the voice that's going out. You talk only because you're putting out with your subconscious what you're saying with your conscious. Choose one member of the team who can speak extemporaneously well, who can organize thoughts well and not leave dead time in transmitting because dead time invites jammers. Now, to be a good receiver is something else. The best receivers are those who have found their inner peace. I'll get to you next, I promise. The best receivers are those who have found their inner peace. If you try to think, try to receive, you won't. I was on the Johnny Carson show about a year ago with Ava Gabor.

I was on before that with Abby Lane. And there was one time the time with Abby Lane to me was only the last eight minutes I was on with these Japanese girl caddies. And he arrived and was supposed to spend a half hour with me but he had the girl caddies on so I was left off for the last eight minutes of the show. And I was to come on and teach Johnny what this was all about. Send him a command to do something and he would do it. Maybe. He had no idea what the command was to be, so as I indulged in conversation with him, I told him he'd get an urge to do something. This is something about a received signal. It hardly ever comes to you as if it were some signal you received. It comes to you as if it were your own thought. Now, I asked him, do you feel like doing anything? I said, have you got an urge to do anything? Yes, I do. He said, well, do it. So he stood up and that was the signal I had sent him. And then he went around and kissed Abby Lane,

which wasn't part of the signal I sent him. But then he said, gee, can I do this? I said, sure you can. I said, have you found your inner peace? I said, can you put out an uncluttered thought? And he looked at me and said, sure I can. So he said, Skitch, I'm going to send one to you. And that was his first mistake because that put Skitch Henderson on his guard and he stood there, you know, ready to receive, which was all wrong. So he stood there and Johnny stood there and nothing happened. So then I said, well, maybe I jammed the link to something. I didn't try to explain it. They went off the air for a commercial. Skitch Henderson turned around and went to the piano and sat down and played Moonlight in Vermont. Ed McMahon, sitting to my right, stood up and said, hey, I sent you that signal. And Johnny Carson and I were talking and Johnny stood up and said, what's going on here? What's going on here? He said, what happened? What happened?

And Ed said, he's playing Moonlight in Vermont. And Johnny said, I know he is. But I sent him the signal, Ed McMahon said. Johnny said, so help me God, I sent that. Now you see, what had happened was Ed McMahon wasn't even involved in this thing. He was sitting there relaxed. Johnny Carson sent the signal, Ed caught it. While he was sending it, Skitch was tense, couldn't catch anything. After he gave up, he turned around and he caught Ed's signal. Because Ed sent it. So it went the double route. So if you want to try it this way, believe me, it's more fun than a barrel of monkeys. Because I suppose there are husbands and wives here tonight. A husband-wife team is unbeatable. Husband's away at work, he comes home from the office, and of course you leave all your troubles behind, don't you? And you're driving home, relaxed. Best time to receive. And wife, you're at home, and you're thinking, John, stop by at Ralph's and bring home a pound

of butter. Or oleo. We like oleo better than butter ourselves. Bring home a pound of oleo. And John, you're driving home, and all of a sudden you get this impulse to stop in at Ralph's. You don't know why. The first thing to do when you're learning this is obey that impulse. As long as it's reasonable. Obey it. So you drive in. You drive into Ralph's. You drive into Ralph's, and you don't know why, but you go in, and you walk around. Well, maybe you'll come home with a dozen eggs, you know. But the point is that nine times out of ten, you'll come home with that pound of oleo. Now the first time this worked for us was really amazing. Because I was in Omaha delivering a speech. On flying home, we landed in Denver, and from there the airplane was to take off again, come right down here to Los Angeles. And as we sat on the ground, and we were taxiing in, I was reading an interesting article in the magazine, and I decided I wasn't

going to get up and leave the airplane. I was going to stay right where I was and take off with it afterward. But as we docked, I had this impulse to go into the airport. Well, that was reasonable. So I went in. I didn't know why or where, but I went in. I went to the newspaper stand. I walked around the newspaper stand. Magazine? No. Newspapers? No. I knew I had to buy something, though. And as I walked around, I came to the jewelry counter, and as I looked down in the jewelry counter, just as I looked, a girl came up from behind the counter and said, can I help you, sir? I said, yes, I want these earrings right here. Turned out they're expensive. They're gold earrings. But I bought them. And when I arrived in Los Angeles at 5 o'clock, Eleanor met me at the airport and told me that she had accepted a dinner engagement for that evening because she knew I'd be home by 5. So as we were dressing for this formal affair,

she was putting on her evening gown and I was dressing. I thought to myself, oh, I remember the package. So I got it out and I threw it to her. Gold earrings. Maybe she could wear them. She opened it up and looked at them and said, my God. I said, what is it? She said, well, today I got out this necklace you gave me years ago that I had never worn. It was a solid gold with a little gold bell with a diamond clapper in it. She said, I looked at it and wished you'd bring home a pair of matching earrings so I could wear this tonight. You know, those earrings matched it. And I asked her, what time was that? And she told me, and it was right when I was in Denver. Now, if you want to call this coincidence, go ahead. I mean, it's your privilege. But wait till it happens to you. You try it, it will happen to you. Now, I promised the lady in the back the next question. Yes. You.

I really don't know. I can't answer that. I'll tell you something, because this gets us into the future, just like you asked about your son and the job, right? Might as well share this with you, too. You'll find it when you get on the board yourself. We have found that evidently when you're born, it happens when you're born, that this central control assigns a watcher to you. Now, you've heard of the guardian angel concept, I'm sure. Well, these guardian angels call themselves watchers. And if you want to know who your watcher is, get on the board, ask central control who your watcher is, but identify yourself. Your name, your father's name, your mother's maiden name, when they were married, when and where you were born. And within 30 seconds, the answer will come back, your watcher's name. It'll be somebody who's been dead anywhere up to 20 million years ago. And so then you talk to your watcher. And you want truths? You get them.

They'll come. Now, one more warning. If you start indulging in this kind of communications, you're going to have more fun than you've ever had before. But be prepared to meet sadness as well as happiness. Be prepared to meet tragedy as well as rejoicing. Be prepared to meet spoofers who masquerade as the person you're talking to. Be prepared to, how do you find out? How do you weed out the spoofers? Well, the first thing you do is realize that there is something they're saying that doesn't ring true. And the minute that happens, you challenge them. Are you going to be able to find out what they're saying? And they will say, yes or no. Now, we had somebody the other night who came here from Missouri, was in our home, and he wanted, he came to our house especially to have a session on this because he'd read about me, a full page article on me in the Kansas City Star. And he wanted to see this communication, so we communicated with

somebody he named. I guess it was his aunt. His aunt. And he asked, no it was his mother, that was it. He asked his mother how much his aunt weighed. And his mother said, you're not my son or you'd know that. That's the answer that came back. So it came back to him that he was a spoofer. So these things you must, you'll develop a sense for jammers. One of the tragic things you run into also is if you wait to see who's communicating with you. Many, many children try to communicate who evidently died when they were children and can't spell and are left with very, very poor language. And yet many of these children go ahead and learn even in the hereafter and learn a fine language. Yes, it'll spell out the words letter by letter. And believe me, if you do it, if you do this, sooner or later you'll get into automatic writing. Read Ruth Montgomery's book, Search for Truth. It's wonderful. She warns against the spoofers too.

And the evil. What about reincarnation?

Well, now let's look at the word first. Reincarnation means recreation of meat. And just by the science of statistical probability, it's just about impossible for your body to be recreated exactly as it is now. So as far as the word is concerned, it's wrong. However, if you take the possibility of somebody's body too, taking over somebody else's conscious body, and that conscious body assuming the character of the other person's body too, it is possible. Have you read Frank Edwards' book I think it's Strange People? The Strange Case of Laurence Venom? Oh, a beautiful example of this very thing. The only way for a

body too to be born again with a body worn, you mean, is for that body too of that dead person to take over a body one that is being born. You might say that it's evil, and it is evil. It is evil, except that there might be cases where a body one is being born without a body two. You see? Now I'm not sure whether that happens or not, but it is a possibility. But there are plenty of cases like the Three Faces of Eve, which is certainly very firm in the records of psychiatry, that these other bodies took her over. And if you read the book in it, it also says that there is a strong possibility that there are many other bodies that they hadn't even, other personalities that they hadn't even uncovered in this girl. They only uncovered three. Yes?

Alright. You really want to find out what a body two is, right? I'll define it to you in more concrete terms. Every person has a nervous system. Can you find any place on your skin where you don't feel? No. You have a nervous structure of equilibrium, of feel, of smell, of taste, of all these things, right? Of sight, hearing. Now, evidently there are very, very small particles, which are smaller than we even imagine in the classical world of physics, right now. But they're there. And these particles gather in what we call eigenstates, or resonant groupings, along your nervous system, in every nerve fiber of your nervous system. And when your body one dies, this body two doesn't. It retains the structure of your entire nervous system so that your body two also has the ability to sense everything that you sense when you're alive. That's why a body two can see and hear and even have the sensations that it has of a living person. Oh, a body two can go anywhere.

Believe me, there's only one place a body two can't go and survive. In the center of a galaxy. In there it would collapse as a star collapses. But apparently the travel a body two can make by itself is unlimited. But most people don't know this who are alive, so when they die they don't know they can do it. Very few seem to be able to do it. Oh, this is more physics. I'll just take my word for it. Because the evidence of molecular collapse being in that

A body one a body two cannot exist except as a byproduct of a body one. A body one can reproduce itself but a body two cannot. No, well it is but it's more of a what I told the young lady here Oh no, it's a real body. No. It is physically a real body. Because a person there are many, many case histories where people who have a tie between conscious and subconscious can see this body. And I guarantee you were you to regain that tie you could see too. Well, the body too is the soul. It's not a reflection it is the personality of the person. If you take a person in the medical profession has yet to find any part of the brain that has to do with a function of memory Yes.

I contend, well my definition if I may say so humbly my definition of evil is intent to do harm. It comes from our ability to hide what's in our mind. If you didn't have that no one would intend to do evil. Yes.

Three loops No, there are three

loops. There are loops and there are bulbs and the bulbs I'm willing to bet are the follow up system to the servo system and the loops are the sensing devices. That's right. Those are the antennas of the system

and the bulbs with the liquid in them that you talk about are the follow ups to the servo system.

Yes. You're presuming zero viscosity or you're presuming liquidity of water in this. It's not, it's very viscous fluid so when you change position alright, so it doesn't change as you change

it only changes if you remain changed for a long time. That's right. But I can change and come back and it won't change and it's got to be a follow up system. It's damped.

Of course. The body is extremely capable of providing substitutes for missing functions so this is what it's doing. There's so many people with questions It had to be under four minutes or I wouldn't be here. You know that. That's right. So it had to be under four minutes. That's all I can tell you. And this is all I can tell you. Under four minutes. Question back here. No.

It was quite a void as a matter of fact. I really don't like to touch on this or dwell on it. All I know is that I can tell you this. It's a sense of peace that you just can't match with words. All sense of responsibility of worry, of pain, of gravity, of time this kind of time is just gone. I have four friends two of whom drowned and were brought back after they were declared dead and walked away from by doctors two of whom were electrocuted on electric power lines. Same thing. Doctors declared them dead and walked away. They just happened to have buddies in the crews they worked with who didn't believe the doctor and brought them back. And their stories are identical with mine. They just can't really describe in detail the sense of worry and tranquility.

The question was when I speak of central control am I speaking of the universal mind? Well, I really can't define the universal mind but I can't visualize the universal mind as anything else other than central control. If you want to visualize a single source of any information you want a single source of power a single source of faith a single source of strength of knowledge it's there. And believe me let me talk about prayer for a minute may I? Good.

Well anyway if you are worried if you want strength if you want help in reaching a decision all you have to do is ask. It's amazing what strength what power, what faith can come to you. Now if you have a partner or if you are in a family it seems to be that the strength comes in bundles if you join hands in a circle and just ask with the full faith that all you ask for will be given. Because forget it. If you want strength to make a decision if you want strength to see your way through a trying time all does it come. If you want we prayed for someone a young girl who was in a mental institution and declared completely incurable she had suicidal tendencies and we prayed for this girl and she was discharged and this was some eight, ten years ago. She hasn't been back since. I can't say our prayers did it but it couldn't have been the doctors decree of incurable that did it. I don't know. But try that sometime and all you do is ask. If you ask somebody else to ask for you

it won't work. You've got to go straight to the source. Yes.

The medium is a very interesting thing to me because it represents a person who's able to take his own body too and park it away from his body one and allow somebody else's body too to take over his body one and use his body one to consciously be the person whose body too has taken him over. Now this is a very dangerous thing because there are case histories where this body too has taken over the medium's body and won't get out, won't leave three faces of Eden. They didn't leave till they discovered them and this is one of the interesting things we've found that once you discover them they get out. I have an interesting corollary from a man who's a friend of mine, a minister who spent years in a missionary in China and he said that they used to bring in these Chinese children who were what you would call a complete problem child just insolvable unsolvable behavior problems and what they would do he said would be to hold what they would call

prayer wars they would pray in shifts over this child for 48 hours straight or more if required and he said nobody would believe what they did but after a day or two days they said they could actually see these luminosities leave this child laughing one after the other he said this one case he did he was there and he counted 15 leaving the child and the strangest thing was in every case without exception that child came out of it as normal as could be or somebody who hasn't asked yet. You say that the soul was no way material whatsoever when you say material thing

you mean the material things you understand well now when you say matter you consider matter to be anything from a particle as large as what down to a particle as small as what well that's quite a conclusion which you've drawn how many years of study have you put into that as I said if you know it then you can explain why gravity pulls can't you that's right well I'm you've already drawn that conclusion and I'm sure that you must know then why gravity pulls I did

And then the theory goes that person loses his memory of his previous life. Now, I can't say whether that's true or not. R.D. Whitmiller takes this up in his book very well. Yes. Oh, the question was, after death, are there other worlds to which one makes progression?

I imagine it can be so. We, a year ago, sat down and just for fun of it, communicated with a friend of mine that I was a child with in Vietnam.

And he and I were in Boy Scouts together, and he's now a general in Vietnam. And I asked him how things were going. He said, pretty good. And I said, what happened? Wow, what's happening down there? And, well, he told me he'd just been killed in a helicopter fight. And he described the entire skirmish to me, how his helicopter was shot down, everything, and told me what he was doing at this point. He was getting quite a view of the world. I think it was a week later we saw a picture in the newspaper of this colonel in Vietnam who was being buried. And the circumstances of everything was exactly, as we had received, the entire shooting down of the helicopter, the incident, everything was described under the picture.

But my friend, my colonel friend, was not that one. It was a colonel, some other colonel, who answered and gave us this picture. Because my friend is a general still alive over there, I found out after that. So you see, it was somebody else coming in and masquerading. It can happen. But he told us how he was traveling and doing all kinds of things. Oh, you asked me about suicides. All right. I really can't tell you about suicides other than everything I have uncovered in this field, which is not much.

Plus, what I've read is that suicide seems to lead to misery after death, without exception.

Murder? Murder, the victim of murder, seems to think nothing of it after death.

The perpetrator of murder thinks something of it. But the person who commits suicide seems to think the worst, be the worst off of any. There's a lady, a young lady in white there.

Well, here again, as I say, you have to take so much on faith. There's so much. But you have to take it as is, and believe it or don't believe it. But then when you put, after you've learned how to do it, and you put it to the test, you find that, yes, you can transmit factual and receive factual information over this kind of a link.

So there has to be some of the other information that's true. But the answer to this is, from what we've gained, if we just believe all of it. If we just believe all of it. But the answer is that these body twos that take over live body ones when they shouldn't are from other dead. People like the little one we found 50 dead Nazi soldiers in. Yes. Well, no, we've not found any evil in central control. Believe me. Oh, there is plenty of evil. What is it? All the evil exists within both living and dead people, evidently, from what we see. Wait a minute. There's one question there.

Well, by come back, I don't know what you mean, but if you're going to want to talk to anybody who's dead, you can communicate with them this way.

But you've got to have some means of verifying whom you're talking to. Now, we had an experience in this in that when I was 14, my grandmother, my mother's father died. And I went in when he was in a semi coma and he tried to talk to me and couldn't. And for years after that, I had a dream just in one of these vivid, alive dreams. Or he was telling me something. And it was about a certain thing in the apartment where they lived. And I'd wake up in the middle of it before he'd finished telling me. Well, two years ago, when we were my two teenagers were receiving my son, who didn't know anything about this, said, your grandfather wants to is here, wants to talk to you.

I said, go ahead. Go ahead. And at this point, my wife and I couldn't receive a thing because we just we weren't able to do. We just weren't. Able to do this. So I was a good transmitter. My two teenagers received. So he read out this same dream that I've been having as what my grandfather was talking to me through him. And he finished the dream, told the rest of it, which I had never known. But he'd never known the first part either. My son never had. So this is the this is some means of authentication. That was no, no, no, no.

You can take over somebody else's body. But not yourself. Your body, too, can come back. Yes. All right. You had a question.

Oh, that's the question is in a person where, like the three faces of Eve, when one of the body tools is running her running her body one, what happens to the others?

Well, they might just be along for the ride or they might be parked somewhere waiting to get back in like a medium puts his own body to a way. Well, somebody else's body, too, comes in, takes over his body.

You know, I said I was going to demonstrate, didn't I? All right. Well, we'll just bear that in mind. All right. What does he say?

There's water in this cup. I've been rationing it very wisely. All right. You haven't. I've been drinking it. I have. Yes. All right.

That's a good question. You know, I've been waiting all evening for somebody to ask that. You know, if I if I demonstrated ESP to you tonight. How would you believe that I had sent a signal to somebody and they had received it? If somebody said I received something and I said, yes, that's what I sent. He'd say, how do I? You see, or somebody would say. There's I don't believe it. Understand what I was wanting somebody to ask about hell tonight.

And when she asked me about demonstration, I said, somebody's got to ask about hell.

Now, you can believe it or not. That's your business. Yes. Oh, the answer. Well, first of all, my belief. My belief is that there are many kinds of hell. Now, the particular hell. Let's describe in the Bible. And how many remembered John Kennedy's funeral? Where the gentleman, I've forgotten his title. Was he an archbishop who was in canting to the hero, the to God to keep the gates of hell away from John?

You remember that? I sat frozen in my chair. When he said. He said that because the words that he used come straight from pre-Christian Rome. Up to six thousand years ago, because the hell that is described in the Bible.

Is the hell that happens in a cataclysm such as Noah's flood when this molten layer 60 miles down, which extends over the whole earth.

It's a sphere of molten stuff breaks through. And just covers the earth in many places. So just a sea of this molten lava. The Indians have a legend in Southwest United States of the tribe of Indians that clambered up, clambered up what is now Pikes Peak from their description.

It has to be. And just a dozen of them made it to the top. And they stood there among these screeching winds watching these this what they call earth fire break through the valleys below the quaking valleys below.

And then the ocean came in and rose almost to their feet. And this is the hell that's described and that the hell of that's why hell is always regarded as a hot place because those who survive are usually those without letters and without knowledge and those that didn't survive went to hell because they were sinners.

Well, it's taught in many religions. There is no exclusivity on in this. Believe me, but the point that. I'm here. The point. The point is that kind of a hell we can dismiss at this point because hell to me is a state of mind that one consigns himself to now, whether he consigns himself to it in this life or takes it with him into the next.

No, please, I can tell you a particular kind of hell that we experienced.

I don't know. As a lark, I indulged with my family in attempting to uncover, and it was successful, the structure of worldwide crime by this means.

And you have no idea what the atmosphere is that you bring into your home when you do this. It is the atmosphere. Of hell, I brought hell into our home, and we uncovered the entire structure of that organization.

I'm just waiting for the day that it comes out, and we've got it all written down.

And I don't dare say what it is.

There would be no evil, no crime, no war. If the first rule of social maturity the world over were the requirement that you share your mind rather than hide what's in it for social.

We'll take one more question. I haven't asked you yet. Get two or three friends and sit down together, and all three of you use it together.

You'll find it'll work. Well, in our case, we suffered severe nerve damage at the base of our skulls, my wife and I.

But for the teenagers in our family, it started to work just like that. Yes. I've taken... I didn't hear that, but it must have been a good thing. I didn't hear that, but it must have been a good thing. I didn't hear that, but it must have been a good thing. I didn't hear that, but it must have been a good thing. I didn't hear that, but it must have been a good thing. Yes.
