[00:00] Opening remarks and introduction

Flying saucers are the new consciousness. That's what the advent of these visitors from outer space means. Some people take it well, others don't take it well at all. Such a controversial subject, and so all-embracing in its many implications, that no one in our government is in a position to, or is willing to, make any authoritative statements about them, except to gloss over the fact that they're here, and try to give the impression to the general public that they don't exist. That is why you have organizations like Understanding Units and other research groups all over the world. And among ourselves, we're exchanging loads of information on flying saucers. And those of us who have dug into the subject seriously for years, as I have, have a tremendous fund of knowledge. And it's a constant source of amazement to us that people, by and large, are so utterly uninformed, so ignorant, of this most tremendous thing we've seen.

It shows how dependent we are on the public sources of information. It also shows how tight the control of this information can be when our government so chooses. And unless and until an authoritative statement is made by someone in our government, this silence policy will continue. And the newspapers, by and large, won't treat it very seriously. It's a very startling thing. It has been to those few fortunate or unfortunate people who have witnessed a flying saucer. I'd like to go back to start off with a sighting which occurred on October 1st, 1951, near Philadelphia. A squad car with four policemen in it was patrolling in a suburban area, early evening, about like this, perhaps a little later. They saw a glowing object coming down out of the sky and settling slowly toward the ground into a vacant lot. Along the street they were patrolling. So they informed headquarters over the radio and stopped the car, got out.

This thing by this time was on the ground there, probably 50 yards away from them. They walked over to it very cautiously. It was perhaps six feet in diameter, four feet high, glowing, giving off its own light, sitting on the ground there. Patrolman Collins was brave enough to step close to it and touch it. And it touched like jelly. His finger went right into it. And lo and behold, as they watched this flying saucer sitting there, it got smaller and smaller. And in about 15 or 20 minutes, after they had first seen it land, it had disappeared completely before their sight. It was like a cake of ice out here on the desert mid-summer. It just dwindled away to nothing. From a solid to a liquid to a gas to... matter in its fourth state, it disappeared. We don't have that kind of control of matter, at least not of our spaceships or our rockets, but somebody does. But examples like that give you an idea of how puzzling this whole flying saucer thing can be.

How are you going to cope with someone who brings a spaceship here if that's what it was? Of course, that's my opinion, you see. And the thing, when it gets into trouble, they just let it settle to the ground and just cause it to vanish. Collapse the electrogravity field which holds the structure together, you see. That's what happens to our bodies when we decide we don't want to live in them any longer and we so-called die. Our bodies disintegrate slowly, too.

Mr. Yates said that June 24, 1947, I believe, was that it? As being the beginning of the flying saucer era. But I always think of it as starting on October 9, 1946, a few months earlier. That was the night when the Earth passed through the tail of the Giacobini-Zinner comet, as it does periodically. And amateur astronomers here in Southern California were out to see how many meteorites they could count. And while the amateur astronomers here in Southern Cal were watching the skies that moonlit night in 1946, they were amazed to see a black torpedo-shaped object. Cruising leisurely in the skies here between Los Angeles and San Diego, hundreds of people called newspapers, radio stations, and police stations, asking who or what was this strange visitor. Among those who watched it that night was amateur astronomer George Adamski, down at Palomar. And also, at that time, Lee Blaine, the head and director of Borderland Sciences Research Associates,

had begun having seances. There was Mark Colbert in San Diego, and asking questions of the inner circle, the controls, and talked through Mark Colbert. The day after this visitor was in the skies there, over San Diego, and when it disappeared, by the way, it tilted upward, it spurted away, so to speak, out of sight, it left an orange-colored exhaust there in the sky and exploded for several moments. And actually, the people who saw that thing thought it was perhaps a Navy dirigible. Flying saucers, you know, weren't in the news in 1946. The name hadn't even been cooked up by newspaper reporters. But anyhow, Lee Blaine asked the inner control, the inner circle, through Mark Colbert, what was this strange object which had been seen the night before there over San Diego. And he was told that it was a visitor from outer space, that the planet was under observation and had been for a long time. By beings who are, shall we say, impartially interested in our progress here.

That was the incident which started George Adamski off on his quest, which finally resulted in the desert landing in 1952. Borderland Sciences Research Associates has gathered much material through members who have had contacts on their own. And I'll present some of that material later and give you a better picture of how these beings are here and what the program is, if any. Also, about that time, Robert Webster and Ray Palmer and others got Faith Magazine started in Chicago. And that was the first magazine of national circulation which took an objective point of view toward flying saucer sightings from the very beginning. Perhaps all part of a program for conditioning our understanding and getting around the censorship of the public press.

June 24th, 1947. Well, I think that there is a more startling flying saucer incident than the one which occurred on June 24th when Ken Arnold saw these nine spaceships cruising along in front of Mount Rainier in Washington. Three days earlier, Harold Dahl and two men working for him, his son and a dog, were in Puget Sound in a patrol boat looking for logs. About three miles off Tacoma, close to Moray Island. And on this afternoon of June 21st, they were amazed to see a group of six circular objects above them in the sky, about 2,000 feet. Dahl compared them to donuts because they seemed to have holes in the middle of them. He estimated they were 100 feet in diameter. It occurred that one of these spaceships was in trouble. Or a balloon, or whatever it was. And five were circling around one which was in the middle of the group. And the whole group was settling slowly toward the sound. Dahl had a camera there on the boat and he got a couple of pictures of this formation of ships.

And they were so curious to see what was going on, to get a better view, he beached the patrol boat on Moray Island and they all jumped ashore, to stand on the shore and watch. Well, the group of spaceships stopped this one who was in trouble from settling at about 500 feet above the sound. There was no noise. And one of these spaceships attached itself to the one which appeared to be in trouble. And as they stood there and watched this, it looked as though someone had thrown hundreds of newspapers out of one of them. Because this white stuff came fluttering down through the sky, landing in the water and on the beach around them. They picked up a piece of it and it turned out to be a foil-like metal. It wasn't paper at all. And as they were puzzling over this incident, all of a sudden it began to be pelted with huge chunks of slag, black slag. It was so hot as it came down that it hissed when it struck the water.

And they had to flee for their lives to avoid being killed by it. So much of it fell. It went under an overhanging cliff there on the island. Dahl's boy was struck in the arm and his arm was injured by a piece of this stuff. The dog was killed by a piece of it. After this shower of fragments was over, apparently the recovery operation was successful. A whole group of spaceships rose back up into the sky and slowly out toward the Pacific Ocean and disappeared in great height. Dahl tried to, got back on the boat and tried to contact his office there in Tacoma. They had an ambulance there waiting to pick up his son and take him to the hospital. There was so much static in the air, the radio, he couldn't get through. So they got in the boat and hurried ashore as quickly as they could. When he got to the patrol, log patrol office there, his boss, Chrisman, refused to believe his story.

It was too fantastic. And Dahl said, well look at the boat. The boat was badly damaged. Chrisman told Ken Arnold a month later that he looked as though the men had gotten drunk and tried to sink the boat from the top down with a sledgehammer. It was so badly battered. But he did get his son to the hospital. His arm was fixed. Dahl gave Chrisman the camera and said, if you don't believe it, have this film developed. There are pictures of those objects, balloons or whatever they were. Chrisman went out to Maury Island himself the next morning in a patrol boat and he did find the white metal and the slag on the beach just as Dahl had told him.

And while he was there looking over the site, one single spaceship of the same type described by Dahl the previous day came in, circled once around the island and went out again.

So Chrisman knew then that the story was true. One of the most amazing parts about this whole incident was that the next morning, before Dahl was up for breakfast, there was a stranger at the door of his house.

The stranger wanted to talk to him and suggested that they drive downtown together and have breakfast downtown. When they did, the stranger described the preceding day's incident more clearly to Harold Dahl and he remembered it himself. Dahl couldn't figure out how he knew so much about it. And the stranger said to Dahl, if you talk about this and spread the word around as to what you'll see, nothing but bad luck will come of it.

You'll be better off if you keep your mouth shut. Dahl was a big lumberjack type, a man who wasn't used to having strangers tell him what to do, and he went on and talked about it.

And just as the stranger had predicted, bad luck dogged his footsteps from that day forward. His wife got so sick she almost lost her life. His son was ill. He almost lost his job with this log salvaging company. He had a boom of logs which he had accumulated himself. He estimated it was worth $3,500. The boom broke one night, some mysteriously, and the logs all drifted away. By the time Ken Arnold came down to Tacoma a month later to pry into his story to see whether or not it was true, Dahl was a very discouraged and heartbroken man. And before the four days that Ken Arnold spent there were gone, Dahl and his family disappeared completely.

There were other tragic incidents which went along with this. When Arnold was there in Tacoma digging into the story, he called two Air Force intelligence officers that he knew. They had contacted him on his own experience. They flew up to Tacoma, looked into the story of the fragments, told Arnold that it was all hoax. They didn't believe it. But they very carefully packed a box of fragments to take back to their air base with them. And then when they did take off, they were killed.

Quite a chain of incidents connected with that really first spectacular flying saucer sighting. June 21, 1947. There's much more that could be told about it, but I believe that's enough to illustrate to you that there are forces here on this planet, both good and evil. And back in 1947, neither side was willing to show its hand so directly. I believe that conflict is still going on. Fortunately, there are beings concerned with that conflict on whom we can depend to come out on top.

So, make sure I don't miss anything. I'd like to tell you something about the role of what we call the Air Force. This is information released by Moreland Sciences Research Associates about five years ago. One of our members, who uses the name Robert Kalano, claims to have had a contact with space beings. And perhaps for our benefit, he sat down one night and wrote out a lot of information which came to him telepathically,

which describes in some detail the program which these Guardians have for this planet. It has three phases or aspects. The first phase of their program is to accelerate the spiritual awakening of mankind. The second aspect of the program is to closely watch our scientific progress, to encourage that research which is along the lines which will ultimately result in benefit to us, to discourage that research which is leading into more destructive weapons, similar things, to even block it if necessary, to avoid, to prevent our scientists from getting hold of a formula for releasing energy from matter which is worse than that which we already have. And the third is to watch the evil influences which are brought to bear on us telepathically by our so-called demonic playmates. Naturally, if we're ever going to grow up, they will allow these influences to have their way with us enough so that we'll suffer the consequences of our misbehavior and our behavior.

These aspects are being handled by three different groups, we are told. The ethical and moral phases are handled by the masters of mental science. These are beings out of our own level and in civilizations. Those men who are now from the inside,

they dwell on what we call the etheric counterparts of the earth. The scientific phases of the program is handled by the etheric norms, or big norms, if you wish to call them. Most of the flying saucers we see are operated by them. At the present time, they have, or at least in 1951, when this information was given to us, they had only one carrier operating here in the earth, a Vofu-class carrier, 2,000 feet long, 500 feet in diameter, with a crew of about 2,500 technicians and pilots aboard, and it's very heavily armed. The third phase of the program, that of coping with the evil influences, is handled by a mixed group. When the scientific apparatus is needed, the NORs come in. Where purely mental means are used, the Lemurians, especially, who are experts in such manipulations, are the ones who are doing the work. The smaller flyers which are seen in our skies, and we have several pictures of them to show you,

use several types of propulsion. They use jet drive, they use electromagnetic drive, and they use primary or true space drive. I'd like to give you an example of the jet drive seen by Air Force pilots. Frank Edwards got this information when he was up in Alaska in 1948, trying to get both of us to film with flying saucers. By accident, he had to sit next to a couple of flyers from Elmendorf Air Force Base, who were nearby. They were pretty disgusted with the way they had been treated over a sighting they had made. They were on patrol at about 30,000 feet from the Air Force Base. It was daytime. There was a thin layer of cirrus clouds above them, at about 33,000 feet. One of the pilots was, they were flying a jet, a Lockheed T-33 trainer type now. They were surprised to see a shadow on the clouds above them, a torpedo-shaped shadow going in the same direction they were. So, back chatting between the two of them in the two planes,

they decided they'd go up through the overcast and see what it was. It couldn't be an airplane because there were no wings. When they came through the overcast here, they were about a mile object, flying along at their speed. It was gleaming. They estimated it was about the size of a B-29 fuselage. And there was a jet trail coming out the back of it, about a 50-foot jet, an orange plane. Then they, talking back and forth between them, they decided they should speed up and try to catch up with it to get a better look at it. And just as they decided to do that, the thing accelerated and left them flat. The thing that made the pilots angry was, that when they came down and reported the incident, they were confined to quarters for a week. One of the pilots was grilled, so he told Frank Edwards for 48 hours. Tried to break him, break his story. They were questioned separately, of course, so they backed each other up.

That kind of treatment of pilots discouraged a lot of reports,

which might have come in and added more data to the pilots. Let's see. True space drive, when it's used here in the magnetic field of the Earth, we are told, by our source, will get an actual speed of about 27,000. They also have electromagnetic drive, and when that is used, you get the whirlwind effect, the glowing. Not to make this too long, I'd like to conclude this portion on the Guardians with one final item. Rolf Talano was told that there are also visitors from other solar systems here for various purposes. These visitors are permitted to proceed if their purpose is not malicious. Otherwise, they are usually intercepted and turned back at the outer limits of the solar system. Two or three examples of what I think mischief-making visitors

who weren't in the galaxy.

Madrid, Spain, February 10, 1897. A black object appeared in the skies over Madrid that day in 1897, and it blew up with a shattering roar. Which cracked building walls and broke windows in the grid. Panic-stricken Spaniards raced through the streets. A cloud of debris hung over the city there for hours until night fell. What was in that spaceship, if it was a spaceship, who blew it up?

Let's come down to modern times. February 18, 1948. A huge black spaceship, at least three miles long, perhaps longer, was seen operating in a zig-zag fashion through the sky, over Kansas. It blew up with a tremendous roar which shook six states. Building windows, walls there in northern Kansas cracked from the effect of the explosion. Again, there was a cloud of debris there in the sky until nightfall. And it was seen from cities so far apart that by triangulation it was estimated that this spaceship blew up at an altitude of 30 miles above the surface of the Earth. One of the newspaper reporters who watched it, watched the cloud of smoke up there as it billowed and twisted after the explosion. He compared it to the dying throes of a dragon. Perhaps his simile was closer to truth than he knew. One more. 1955. February again. This time, New Zealand. Here, a twin torpedo-shaped object, dazzlingly bright, came in toward New Zealand, the South Island of New Zealand,

from the sea at tremendous speed, only 100 feet above the water. It raced on inland, was seen by many, many people. When it got near the town of Westport, it blew up, again with a roar which was heard from the sky. A cloud of smoke went up into the sky. Yet the authorities there at Westport, New Zealand, said that no trace, no bit of debris could be found under the site of that explosion. Apparently, that is one reason why we don't seem to have any physical remains of spaceships, even though they've been operating in the skies year over year. They're made of another kind of matter, perhaps, or it's held together in a different way, or in such a way that when the pressure of the electrogravity field is released, it disintegrates. This kind of control, which our scientists could well envy. Well, suppose you were fortunate enough to have

the new consciousness to some extent. Or suppose you were fortunate enough or unfortunate enough to be able to talk to a being, from another dimension of time and space. What would you get from him? Well, some years ago, at Borderline Sciences Research Associates, down there in San Diego, we received a letter from an individual who claimed to have had such a contact. Not with a space being, but with one of the cavern dwellers who lives here in the interior of the planet. Like the Shaver mystery. Giving him the door prize, and he would have the slides lined up, an example of what you might run into if you tried to question one of these, considerably more about these things than we do. So this poor human says, can you tell us anything about flying disks and similar objects? Yes, if it is lawful to tell, and you are able to understand. Research Associates says they are etherians. Others say they are from Earth, which is right.

All of them. There are many different objects, which some people can see at times. They come from other planets, from other planes of life, and some come from places on this planet. Places unknown to you. Well, then there are etherians. Yes. Are they human beings? Is steam water? Is a mixture of gases water? That steam can be produced from water, or turned into water? I see. I doubt it. Well, can you communicate with the etherians at will? Yes, if we have reason for doing so. We don't waste time communicating merely for amusement, or to satisfy idle curiosity. Well, how is this done? Exactly the same as I am now communicating with you. It is merely a matter of converting or translating vibrational frequencies to establish rapport between two intelligences. It is not necessary that these intelligences be embodied in corporeal flesh. In fact, this is often a hindrance. The real being of any human being entity is not what you see.

It clothes itself with the physical body just as the body does with... Well, are their intentions friendly toward us? That depends on your thoughts toward them. As ye sow, so shall ye reap. No person of good will need fear them. No member of any truly great race will deliberately kill. They do watch, and they do try to prevent evil. If ye only realize that ye are a brother to every intelligent being in the universe. They may at times be brothers, erring brothers, but they are still brothers. Well, do the flying saucers or disks from other planets come here in what we would call normal flight? Or is there a materialization and a dematerialization of some plane? That depends on where they come from. Those from nearby points come by what you would call normal flight. Those from distant places, are teleported here. They are converted into pure energy at the place of origin and materialized back to their original form here.

Some human beings have seen them during this process. Could you explain that a little more? I'll explain it, but you won't understand. The first thing to be done is to isolate a cube of space. This cube may be anything from inches to miles. The effect is produced by the play of mental force on etheric matter, which consists in establishing a null or a neutral zone of free space energies. The boundaries of this cube are thereafter shaped as may be desired. Into this space area are then brought whatever mechanism and instruments are useful in the region where the guardians desire the ship to operate. Is this done only by mind power? By both mental and by mechanical means. The next step is to posit the ship in space. This is done by converting the energy rates. A change in such rates is equivalent to a change of location. Why don't the pilots of the saucers land and get acquainted with the people of this planet? Would you?

Well, but there must be some among us worthy of contact. What leads you to believe such contacts have not been made? I just couldn't believe it. Could you tell us how these saucers go? They don't seem to have engines like our planes. Your engineers and scientists would not recognize it if they saw it. It is out of the range of their thinking in present. The disks are powered with pure energy flows which permeate all space. You know something about the results of these energy flows

electricity, light, heat, gravitation, and so on. But you know nothing about the source of these. The primary flows of energy in their pure form. I cannot explain it to you. Why not? Could you explain algebra or calculus to a three-year-old child? Thus ends Lesson 1. Let's have some change. Now while Mr. Riley Crabb is setting up the slide projector and he'll start after his projector is set up and give his talk. Let me use this. Hold here. the point of the cultural lag in our society. Scientists are still working with the Newtonian concepts of gravity which were developed about the time that we were using sailing ships like this. They're learning from the engineers in our space race are working with these concepts. Let's try to get the most remember please to That's it there. At the same time, one of the things which is posing

the problems to our understanding is our new science. An example of that is the films. Here's Eastman's chart of the sensitivity of the human eyes compared to the sensitivity of their film. And you'll notice that these films, especially the panchromatics, their sensitivity extends into the ultraviolet end of the spectrum. And at times the film will pick up objects which are invisible to normal sight. And the infrared film especially. You'll notice the sense of human sight

on our next slide that I can give you an example. Here we have a photograph taken of a seance in Rochester, New York. This is film. The men who took the picture were technicians of the company. They were using infrared film. And black light flash bulbs developed by. The seance room was in total darkness. Here you see the medium and draft. You see a stream of water state beginning to pile up on the floor there in front of her. The agent of light had been on in the room. The people sitting here at the seance would not have seen that echoclass.

The room was still dark because they can't see anything. Anyhow, even if there was light on in the room, I doubt very much if any of them would have seen a shape like this. Just a vague amount of mist perhaps. It was condensed enough to where it would stop physical light and we could see it. This gentleman, she is talking so he's looking in her direction because of that. And then a photograph of a flying saucer

taken by a Dutchman from his factory in Holland to get some pictures. He saw this little black object up in the sky moving around with a glowing, bright glowing center. He raised his camera and took a picture of it. And he was amazed when he developed his film to find this huge circle of material around the little black object he had seen. This part of it was invisible to the normal sight that the film picked it up.

The nine views obscured the physical body of the saucer. This picture was taken by a Norwegian photographer who was in a plane about 14,000 feet. In June or July 1954, I believe it was, they were up to photograph the eclipse of the sun. And with a 35-millimeter color film in his camera, he got several feet of film of these two saucers. Again, two glowing objects. This time, photographed by the mayor of Hiawatha, Iowa. He was up in a small plane to get a picture of the town in which he was married. These two flying saucers came by there at a slightly lower altitude. They were at 1,000 feet where you would see an enlargement of the central area. George Van Nassel ran these photos in his proceedings. The mayor of Hiawatha, France,

and this is one of the cartoons that appeared in the French magazine. The driver of the car looks up and says, those two must come from Venus. You can depend on the French to spice up the saucer story. Okay. We do need a little humor in the series if something goes wrong. Now, the dome-shaped scout saucer idea wasn't original with George Adler and his team. It was created by George Adler and his team at the time and was original with George Adamski. Because this picture was taken by George Stock of Passaic, New Jersey in July, 1952, about five months before Adamski got his pictures. This scout saucer circled around Stock's home there at Passaic, New Jersey one afternoon. He got five good pictures of it. They're the same spaceship only from a different angle, which explains why sometimes people report the dome shape and sometimes just the oval shape. And, of course, there are many good pictures of it. Now, let's look at some of the other types of spaceships.

Okay. Here's Adamski with a six-inch reflecting telescope with which he claims to have gotten most of his flying saucer pictures. And here is a controversial picture of the spaceship which he got on December 13, 1952. People claim that it's a collection of automobile wheel discs and ping-pong balls and an old light fixture. The strange part of it is that the people in other parts of the world have photographed a similar type of spaceship. Let's take a look at a couple of them. The English boy, Stephen Adamski, in February 1954, over a year after George Adamski got his picture,

got this one. It's interesting to note the similarity in the shape between this saucer and the one Adamski photographed over California. Here's the ball landing gear, same general shape. When the British newspaper reporters swarmed out of the Darbyshire to describe what he had seen, he told them that he saw portholes and other details which aren't visible in this picture. The corona discharge in the electromagnetic field of the saucer fogged out the details on the film, the camera film. So he drew a sketch for the reporters and in this next slide you'll see what he drew and what he saw. The editors of the Sensation magazine who ran the story of the pictures put in beside it one of Adamski's photos. You can see the similarity between the Darbyshire sighting and Adamski's. It's possible that there was collusion between this 11-year-old boy and 64-year-old Adamski. If you think so, the burden of proof is up to you. Leonard Grant in his excellent book Space Gravity

and Flying Saucers took the Adamski photo and made an orthographic projection on hydraulic curves and so on. Then he took the Darbyshire

photo and made a portrait of the two saucers that came off the same assembly line on Venus. But then who knows Stephen Darbyshire or George Adamski? They're nobodies. They don't have any degree research institutions or colleges of learning. So let's return now to some buddies. Nash and Fortenberry. Pilots from Pan American Airways who were ferrying a plane from New York to Virginia. I had to see this formation of spaceships racing along underneath them. They made a right angle turn at speeds estimated over a thousand miles an hour. After they made their turn two other spaceships joined them and they all streaked off out of sight. Nash and Fortenberry estimated that this formation of spaceships was a mile below they were nine thousand feet. But they estimated the diameter of the spaceships at about

a hundred feet. Needless to say Nash and Fortenberry weren't sure if they were going to be able to make it to the top of the sky. But they were able to make it to the top of the sky. They were able to make it to the top of the sky. Here is a formation of glowing objects which preceded the head of the great comet of 1882. Astronomer Bernard was so impressed by this formation of meteorites or spaceships that he drew this picture of it for an astronomy magazine. Athens saw a spindle shaped object in the sky that was believed to be the largest ever in the universe! It was a very large object that was the center of the universe. This was the center of the Those who are ahead of us in space travel.

The galaxies. Here's the beginning of an island universe. Just a vague lot of gas on the space. Some great cosmic being is marked off. This vague structure begins to assume a better shape.

Still, this is just glowing gas, probably no condensed suns or planets. Further along in time, we get a shape as evident as Andromeda, this great nebula.

The gaseous matter at the outer is three-dimensional.

The matter of this system has come under the full control, shall we say, of the organizing intelligence that started it. Now here are suns and planets, much like ours.

Then you get in systems like these, globular clusters of very mature suns.

Beings have evolved, and they're so advanced for communication that they would

be capable of space travel. They're way ahead of us in evolution. OK? And then finally, which has worked out its entire life and is in a state of complete rest.

It is a galaxy, which is in a state of negative existence. The Knight of Brown put it in the Hindu term.

Grasp the mystery. In space travel, you have to think about philosophical ideas

backed up by these slides which I have just shown you. We're going to have to do some thinking. OK? We're going to have to do some thinking. Prepare yourself for the new age. It's already upon us, as far as that goes.

Truman Bethlehem, Orpheus Angelucci, Carolyn Rowe, they've been chosen for contact. Most of us aren't so fortunate. We could prepare ourselves to some degree for contact with these higher beings. One way might be to join one of the mystery schools, Rosicrucians, or Theosophy, or become a Kabbalist and study the mystic teachings of the ancient Hebrews,

perform certain mental exercises, which develop and expand the mind, prepare it for such things. That might be one way to do it. Perhaps there are other ways. It's up to the individual, really. An interest in what we call metaphysics is becoming more widespread here in the United States. I was amazed to pick up this editorial in Life magazine last year, where among other things, the editorial said that metaphysical speculation is becoming fashionable again. Set free of materialism, metaphysics could well become man's chief preoccupation of the next century. It may even yield a worldwide working consensus on the nature of life and the universe. This metaphysical quest must, of course, be compatible with the latest proven truths of science. And it is one in which scientists can be useful. But it is not confined to them. It is not confined to them. It is also a quest for philosophers and laymen, and all who feel the challenge of the eternal mystery.

I gave you one example of contact, and I have two more that will conclude this. I'd like to tell you briefly about a man named Newbrun, a New York dentist, who wrote the so-called New Bible of Wasp Bay. He lived in New York in the 1880s. He was a man of great interest. He lived in New York in the 1880s, and he thirsted after higher knowledge. He wished direct knowledge of the spirit world. He wanted to know what the angels did, and how they traveled, and the general plan of the universe. He was quite sincere in his quest. He thought perhaps the best way to get this information was to attend seances. And in 10 years, he must have attended the seances of at least 200 different mediums. Some of them he had live in his home, so he could observe them more often. But he wasn't satisfied with their communications. He didn't want to talk to dead relatives, who really weren't dead, anyhow. But he was crying for the light of heaven, so that he decided that wise and exalted angels

would communicate better with him if he purified himself. He set up a purifying regimen. He rose daily before sunrise, bathed twice a day. Really unusual in New York in the 1880s, where the Saturday night bath was custom. He was a man of great interest. He loved the living. He gave up eating meat and dairy products, recounted daily his shortcomings, meditated in a small room apart, and in two years, a new lease on life came to him. Among other things, his weight dropped from 250 pounds to 100 pounds, and as he carried on with his purifying regimen, he began to hear angel voices. Among other things, they told him to get a typewriter, which was just coming on the market then, and how to learn how to use it. And for two years, angels propounded questions to him during his meditation period, questions which he couldn't answer. And you know what those angels were doing? They were beating down and destroying his preconceived ideas about life, humbling him,

cleaning his mind to where he could receive wisdom and accept it for what it was, become a channel for the life that he was looking for. One morning, the light came on. The light came and struck the back of his hands, and they went for the typewriter. He was told not to read when he typed. And he typed every morning for 52 weeks. One morning, he looked out the window and saw a beam of light leading down, leading from his hands up into the heavens. Behind him stood an angel, fully materialized and feminine. The drawings in the last day were made the same way as the typing was done. His hands were controlled. While he was doing this all the time, he was... pursuing his profession of dentistry. I don't want to tell you about Awaspe. It's far too big and too complicated. You can buy a copy of it somewhere here in Los Angeles and read it if you like. But I just wanted to give you that as an example of one individual experience, searching for

wisdom. And he got it. It's interesting that our leading scientists are coming to these metaphysical points of view. I'd like to quote to you from Sir James Jean's writings. He says, A review of modern physics has shown that all attempts at mechanical models or pictures have failed. A mechanical model or picture of the universe must represent things as happening in space and time, while it recently became clear that the ultimate processes of nature neither occur in nor admit of representation in space and time. Let's take another physicist, Sir Arthur Eddington. Modern physics has eliminated the notion of substance. Mind is the law. It is the first and most direct thing in our experience. I regard consciousness as fundamental. The old atheism is gone. Religion belongs to the realm of spirit and mind and cannot be shaken. We might close this quotation from physicists with the one from Einstein.

I believe in God, who reveals himself in the orderly harmony of the universe. I believe that intelligence is manifested throughout all nature. The basis of science is the basis of the universe. The basis of scientific work is the conviction that the world is an ordered and comprehensible entity, and not a thing of chance. These three gentlemen got the new consciousness through their research. Unfortunately, as far as modern research goes, they were about 25 years ahead of their time, I suppose, or we should put it this way. The present-day physicists and technicians who are working with our rockets and other elements of space travel are about a generation behind Eddington and Jeans and Einstein in their thinking.

I know, I worked with some of them up here at Point Mugu, the Naval Missile Center, up until a month ago. Those guys up there, most of them are still laughing at flying saucers. Most to my chagrin, I gave a talk on flying saucers to 40 young student engineers up there

Monday night. They asked some pretty intelligent questions. But as far as I'm concerned, I don't know. If I can tell, they're still in kindergarten. I hope I got them started on the right track. We'll have a question and answer period after the formal part of the talk. But I'd like to give one more example of a contact with a being who stands outside human evolution and looks at us in a very objective way. I hope sometime that I and you here are fortunate enough to contact such a being and to receive a message from him. I don't believe it will be beyond our understanding, but I'm sure it will be a good time to see him. I've never been to the moon. I've never been to the moon. I've never been to the moon. Such a United, so if you're ever going to be outside human evolution and are fortunate

enough to have made such a contact with such a being, and to receive a message from him, I don't believe it will be beyond, but it will give you an idea of what to expect if you should make such a contact. It's red that makes the absolute Adam and Eve.

It's red that emblazes all the universes that ever existed. Each spoke is a mighty funnel down which the triune sustains, and slowly that awful wheel

revolves, and the law of ci- criminalable cyclic growth is impressed upon . Single earth and Michael. known and uncreated forms. Cosmic cycles answer to its rule. Universes are modeled upon its

law. Systems are governed by its aeonic revolutions. Planets appear and disappear according to

races and codes in the chords of which every living thing in every world. It provides the

ultimate stability by which the feeling systems. Free yourselves from thoughts of worlds, of signs and systems. Dare to move the other science of the unknown. You shall hear it and you have

found all. Love is within you. Its spokes pass through you. Its rib includes you as it passes

slowly through the cosmic fields of space. Infinitely large and infinitely small. It exists

with a full form and complete. It turns within the heart of man. Wherever there is life and

motion. There is discovery to knock the door of the treasure house of nature's secret power. Then

practice quietness and peace so that the body, mind and feelings may be still. Develop the gift

of spiritual listening as for some far off voice so faint you scarcely hear. I'd like to take a break for a second. I need to stand up and stretch my arms and sit down again and

go on the story.

Kilo was converted in about six months. He was as skeptical as anyone else. He didn't think any of us were going to say the bad news.

Yes, sir. I showed the nine were a very physical object seen by ordinary eyesight. They were invisible to normal sighted persons.

That leads to more confusion, of course. The subject is quite confusing as it is. Here are some written questions. Might as well take these now. Isn't that really true of all human experiences. The things you believe in? Is it true that you have become familiar with them to where you would defend on them?

Much later in life he would have become the pilot of a flying glove that would give you a different chance. to prove his glowing ability deep in a odcultation. Listen carefully. In a second line. And you see I sell things. Watch the universe. Avoid semantics. that flew Mrs. Crabb and I, me, Mrs. Crabb and me, over from Honolulu in 1957. One of the pilots on the plane had a sighting back in 1953 over Texas, and he had the sighting inferred by radar.

Those are the people to believe, the experts. No, no, I haven't seen one before. That makes it

easier for me to talk about other people's experiences. I can be quite objective about it, you see. I don't have to ask you to believe me. Yes, ma'am. The lady says she and her husband

were fortunate enough to witness two glowing objects zipping across the sky in 1947. Well, let's take this written question. In any of your contacts, what has been said about the destructive destruction of the planet showed planet's shield by the atom bomb. Also, what have

you heard about the hole? Oh, change. Well, some of the messages received in 1952, the George Williamson group there in

Arizona were told that the planet which formerly occupied the fifth orbit of the solar system was blown up in an all-out war between two great civilizations which occupied that planet. And all that's in that area now, I believe that we should take such base messages seriously.

We may do such a thing here if we continue developing more powerful forms of energy and exposing, exploding them. The material on the possibility of a polar flip or polar movement is

quite extensive. I'm working that up into a talk at the convention in July there at the Stanford.

It's only really part of the larger picture of the tremendous change or crisis through which our planet is going at the present time. I call the talk Flying Saucers and America's Destiny. Undoubtedly, there will be some polar

movement sometime in the future. There certainly has been plenty of polar movement in the past. But when it will happen and if it will happen is anyone's guess. I've got the predictions of several different prophets, and none of them agree. Thank God. If we had an actual date for such a cataclysm as the polar flip and all which might result from it, every thought would be haunted, wouldn't it? It's better. It's better for us three-dimensional creatures not to know the future. Live each day as quickly as you can. There's always going to be a tomorrow, that's it. Are there any instances of recent contacts? Well, the four men who were killed in the crash of that Air Force plane in McCord Field on April 1st certainly had a contact. Apparently their plane was rammed by a flying saucer up there near Seattle. Because the pilot reported it, said either we ran into somebody or somebody ran into us just before the plane crashed.

I don't believe that statement went out on the wire services. That was quite a quite a incident, that April 1st thing up there in McCord Field. The plane crashed at 08.13 in the evening. At 7 o'clock the whole Seattle area was rocked by tremendous explosions. At 07.20 there was another tremendous explosion. Greater Seattle was shaken by it. And at 08.13 the plane crashed. One couple saw the plane crash- the plane pass overhead above their house with all motors off all four engines off two blowing

lights straight along behind it and at 10 o'clock that night there were some more tremendous explosions in the seattle area that's their contacts all the time some of them aren't so good

then this question goes on were there really three spacemen captured and taken to the institute of technology in pasadena i had heard their word well that's a new one to me hard to believe that such a being would allow himself to be captured maybe it was deliberate a gentleman asked me reminded me before we got into this question and answer period that publicity had announced that i would talk about the 1954 landing of yurok dry lake at edwards air force base and that is really part of another talk which i give but our director

dean lane board of land sciences research associates received a letter from a member in april 1954 and this member of our organization said that he had been invited along with scientists and ministers philosophers and other important people to go up to edwards air force base to see these three spaceships which had landed there in february our director didn't believe the letter then from another source somebody else he received a letter saying that there had been a landing of flying saucers at edwards air force base and then from a third source all three unknown to each other he received this information and then a magazine in chicago

called women's voice had a letter in the letters column from a lecturer who said that he had been there in the air base and seen these patients and he was he gave this information out of the lecture in the summer of 1954 and he said you may not see me tomorrow i may be locked up for telling you that president eisenhower was there and saw them five years

myself members of our organization we believe it we get independent confirmation from different sources why not it is interesting in this connection to know that president eisenhower was vacationing he found springs in february mark miles away from edwards air force base and on a certain saturday night he disappeared for four hours press went crazy trying to find out i never did find out that's

the only external evidence we have that such a landing occurred the gentleman who was there in the end of the evening and we were about half an hour away from bed as we went back to bed and the woman who wrote the first letter to our organization said that it was his understanding that eisenhower would make a release to the nation on this momentous landing sometime in may

we understand that the reason for it was there was such a conflict between the scientists and the religious people who were there as to how the information would be released that they just couldn't agree on what to say the president decided better to say nothing and the military decided that there would be panic in the country if he didn't say anything and they would have no problem with handling it. So nothing happened. Any other questions? I'll be giving home another

whole talk here. I'll expect a larger P, of course. Yes. He wants to know why what's behind

the unfriendliness of the saucers. A Navy captain out of Pearl Harbor asked me the same question three years ago. I said, Captain, do you enjoy hunting and fishing? He said, of course I do. Do a lot of them. I like to kill. He didn't say anything. Yes, ma'am. A lot of space about the

use of atomic bombs. Well, our government has been warned also. I'm sure we were told that through the inner circle seven years ago. High people in our government have been contacted and told what this might lead to. But how are we going to stop our atomic energy program?

You and I as taxpayers are investing $2 billion a year in that program, and that ain't paid. Just close down the factories, lay off the people. We're spending $40 billion a year plus in our

military program. Over half of our national budget. There's money in that. There's no money

in brotherhood. The message from outer space is one of brotherhood. Yes, sir. Two more questions.

Yes, sir. Yes, I am sure that some of these so-called flying saucer activity is a neutralizing

job that's being done by the Guardians. In fact, we've been told that through our sources, the green firewalls especially, so many of which have been seen down in the New Mexico area, actually clean up atomic energy which is in the air. But the ones which I said gave you like back in 1897, we didn't have atomic energy program in that. And I believe that they were invaders who were destroyed, delivered. That's just my opinion, of course. Well, the Guardians say that they can't keep them all out. And judging from the amount of trouble there is here in the world, I'm inclined to agree with them. There are many different visitors here, many different purposes. One more

question. Apparently, some space visitors are here just as tourists to observe. Others are on

purely scientific expeditions to take measurements of this crisis which is coming, the possible polar flip. Take this information. And then we have the Guardians who have specific purpose here, patrol duty, commitments. And then we

have troublemakers. We're everywhere. Take your choice. Okay, thanks.
