[00:00] Opening remarks and anniversary meeting setup
Good evening, ladies and gentlemen. Welcome to the second anniversary meeting of the Englewood Unit 15 of Understanding. Before we introduce our guest speaker of the evening, there are several announcements we wish to make. First, there will be a ten-minute intermission following our speaker's talk. This will be followed by a drawing for a door prize, so hold on to the ticket you were given as you enter this clubhouse. We'll next have a written question and answer period, and for those of you who would like to write a question, pencil and paper will be provided to you during the intermission. Four, about our books and
understanding magazines. They are offered as an approach to understanding. No one organization
has the corner on supplying all information and understanding to the people. We feel very
proud to be a part of this. We feel very proud and privileged to be able to do our share in trying to make this information available to you for evaluation and to draw your own conclusions. The opinions expressed by the various authors do not necessarily mean our own in their entirety, but we leave that to you to investigate, to evaluate, and to decide what you want to believe about this subject. I would like briefly to say that I am very proud to be a part of this. I am . My name is Suddenly, I Am, and I believe that all of you who are seriously interested in this movement, if you have not now, sometime, be sure and obtain a copy for yourself or
your friends. For Christmas coming on, it's an excellent opportunity. We have a new combined copy of two books into one. First, our speaker's experiences in the White Sands incident, and
Also, a land message, a space person's message to Dan Fry and to men of Earth. This is the message that was given to him, and this space team told Dan Fry to start this organization to help bring understanding.
These two messages are very important for anyone wishing to understand more about the new age that we are entering into.
This book here is written by one of the most respected men in this field, because men in government, in the military field, as well as those in the church metaphysical line have contacted him to have him speak before their organization.
The other little book that I'd like to bring to your attention is the Understanding Magazine, which is printed. This is printed monthly, and this goes all over the United States, as well as to Canada and over to Europe.
Our President of the United States, through the White House Secretary, received this copy here, and we have received, to my knowledge, acknowledgement twice.
You might say that the word understanding has been used more by the President the last couple of years than any time prior to our understanding about the use of the word.
We like to feel that we have... perhaps had a little part in bringing that word to be used more often, and to explain the deeper meaning and significance of what this movement is all about.
At this time, I would like to welcome our new members.
We have several here that were given membership in September and October. I'd like to read their names. Ms. McDonald, Ms. Maddow, Ms. Shoss, Mr. Schlosser, Mr. Peterson, I mean Mr. Anderson, correction, Ms. O'Brien, Mrs. Edna Wood, Mr. George Erd, Ms. Greenlee, and Mr. Richard Goldbeck.
At this time, we are going to introduce the speaker of the evening, a gentleman who is internationally recognized in his field,
as one of the outstanding authorities on flying saucers, everything that pertains to the phenomena, as well as the deeper inner spiritual significance of what this movement is all about.
[05:00] Dan Fry introduces 'The Curve of Development'
And believe me, there is an inner spiritual significance, which I personally did not know at the beginning myself. But I have come to recognize that there is, and if we don't recognize it, why we don't get the complete picture. And many people that have been in this field for a long time are realizing this, those that realize the beginning and those that realize it later. Dan Fry is the founder and national president of Understanding.
As most of you know, he is a missile expert. He is an electronics engineer. He is an author of several books, of which this White Sands incident, and to The Land's Message to the People of Earth is one of them. His latest book, Adam's Galaxies and Understanding, will be out sometime, we understand, in December. Steps to the Stars, upon which he was given recognition with a Ph.D. in cosmology by a college in England,
was on the basis of his work in the book Steps to the Stars, which is out of print now. All the copies have been sold for the time being. And even one electrical engineer at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology
recognized the worth of this man's effort in bringing out this understanding of the book Steps to the Stars by writing Mr. Fry and acknowledging that they had been working on the same idea, but he had worked out the idea several years before they had been drawn to this book. Which explains this idea of Steps to the Stars. And so tonight we are going into perhaps a combination of the phenomena
as well as the inner meaning of understanding when our guest speaker, Dan Fry, speaks on the subject of the curve of development. And now it gives me great pleasure and I'm very proud and happy to present our founder and national president, Mr. Dan Fry of West Covina. Dan Fry. With an introduction like that, it's always difficult to proceed.
What can I say? It seems as though I should simply say amen and sit down. Because it doesn't seem as though anything that I could say from here on out could possibly do anything but lower the opinion which you must by now have. I hope, however, that you won't be too greatly disappointed. Tonight, in a short space of time, to do something that's properly done would require at least a few days and possibly a few weeks.
A very short period of time here to do it.
To create a little foundation of understanding. Several subjects. The foundation of understanding for the approach. This subject of unidentified flying objects. Some of which have been quite precisely identified. And of the one of our basic sciences became divided into two parts.
And of several other for a few minutes because there are those.
The leading thinkers of the men of Earth have been more or less constantly dreaming of the time when at last this race would succeed in escaping from the rather irksome confines of this tiny planet.
To soar freely out into space and to explore at will the utmost depths of a boundless universe. It's not a new concept. It's not a new idea. We can find this dream in history as far back as we care to go. But to most people it has always seemed to be only that. Just a dream. It has always seemed to be a dream that was impossible of fulfillment. Speaking to the fact that dream has become a reality. That the time is here. It is now. That this generation is going out into space. This generation. In my lectures at beginning high school students right now are in their freshman or their sophomore years in high school.
Going to stand upon the surface of Mars or Venus before they reach their 30th birthday. To some that may seem to be an over optimistic estimate.
Missile fields say oh there are too many problems to solve. But we forget one thing. Accomplishments of this sort have always come about in a shorter period of time than estimated even by those who were foremost in the pursuit.
Much more quickly than anticipated. Today are going to stand upon the surface of Mars and Venus before they reach their 30th birthday.
Two other things which we must do.
The purpose of this tiny planet. His thinking has been essentially two dimensional in nature. It has had length and breadth but very little depth. Depths of space we are going to have to add depth perception to our consciousness and to our understanding.
And as soon as we begin to do this we begin to become aware of a number of things. Evidence of which has been with us always. But in most cases and we have more or less successfully been escaping from this evidence for our purpose in this planet.
We have been confined between very small segments of constant reality.
We will say everything inside the circle is real. If it's outside the circle it's unreal. Everything has to be one or the other. It has to be real. If it's inside the circle it's real. If it's outside the circle it's unreal. And therefore can have no significance in my life. For me because it is unreal. Which they call infinite in every.
When we draw a line of reality we demonstrate the degree of awareness and consciousness which we have achieved.
Five senses.
He says if I can see it. Feel it. Hear it. Smell it. Or taste it. It's real. If I can't see it. Feel it. Hear it. Smell it. Or taste it. It's unreal. And therefore can have no significance in my life. Often said I think that's why so many people die of carbon monoxide poisoning. Because you can't see it. Feel it. Hear it. Smell it. Or taste it. Unfortunately if you inhale it. It will kill you just as surely as though it were real. And there are many other things in nature which will have the same effect. You cannot see. Feel. Hear. Smell.
S managed.
You better hear.
Feel. raw. Feel. Listen to the sound. It has no sound. How do you feel? Now to return. Feel. I know. Do you feel it? Feel it. Yeah. Feel. Than. But it won't do it. That's a thing. Yeah. It's real. If it will engage some energy such as a gas, that can. Humane. Now what was it? If you've worked in a laboratory, you've seen spectrums of electromagnetic radiation, so that they can get all of the spectrum on a small chart.
But if you were to draw that chart linearly, it would occupy just about 2 inches.
You can see in what spectrum which we use every day.
We use all parts of this building, unless I can hear it.
We can detect frequencies from 15 or 19 cycles per second up to 10 kilocycles per second.
Frequencies beyond that are not perceived by the ear, and so many people would say, well, they're no longer sound, they're not real. If we were to say that, that would make every dog whistle in the country a metaphysical instrument. Because when you blow a dog whistle, you don't hear anything.
If we get up to a little higher frequencies, we reach an area where no ear can respond. We might say, well, now we... But in laboratories today, we are doing many things, we're performing many tasks. The same is true of all...
We find that entirely in adding to the vastness of the universe today
builds what can contact the frequencies that exist there
and convert them into some frequency which our senses can perceive, and so what this means, we can study those areas. And we find that they're just as real as the areas which our five senses touch. We have to expand our consciousness in a few other ways.
We have on Earth a spectrum of density. In metaphysics, you frequently hear talk of... etheric beings, etherians, etheric material. People say, what in the world is that? Well, an etheric being, someone will say, is an intelligent being whose body is composed of matter which is so tenuous that it is exceedingly difficult for us to perceive it. You will say, oh, couldn't possibly have intelligence.
The total spectrum of density is going from about atmosphere on one end, the gas, to the density of lead beyond atmospheric pressure by a considerable amount.
We generally tend to think of the limit of densities as being between those between the density of the gas and the density of uranium. Since we have examined... a star has undergone the tremendous explosion which we call...
determined the mass. They have determined that there are many red stars...
inch of it back to Earth. It would have a weight here...
to determine... how much density matter would have if it were really solid. Piece of steel, and we say, well, that obviously is solid, if there's no holes in it, it's solid material. But if we could enlarge that... sufficiently to see the particles of which it is composed, we would find that it is practically all space composed.
We would find one over here, one here, and this area is the space of which it's composed.
We would find there's an atom here, an atom here, and one here, and again, tremendous areas of space between. Here's the atom, the actual material. We say it's solid to calculate the density that matter would have
if you could stack neutrons solidly together within some container. He chose neutrons because they have no charge, and theoretically you can pile them solidly together. A cube, two-fifths of an inch on the side,
an amount of matter that would about half fill the average thimble, the average sewing thimble. And he calculated this cubic centimeter as half a thimble full. And he discovered that it would weigh on the surface of the Earth 240 million tons.
Of course, we couldn't weigh such matter if we had it here. We couldn't hold it. We couldn't restrain it in any way.
The steel was the message of that matter,
because there is a steel 240 million tons.
The physicist put his conclusions in a different way. He said if all of the people on Earth today, if all of the between three and four billion people that are known to inhabit this planet today, could be squeezed into a volume the size of one body, a volume the size of one-fifth of the available space,
we can see that our spectrum of densities doesn't go very far. Assume for a moment that we had intelligent beings of that order of density. To them, we would be the most etheric, the most etheric of etherials. Multiple types of instruments, even to detect,
begin to move on, to begin to enlarge our understanding, to cope with the things that we find there. The possibilities of the universe are infinite. There are characteristics infinite, and yet we are bound by this tiny spectrum on the surface of this planet. So there are many ways to consider in order to understand
the things which we see today, and especially those which we would call the Big Bang Theory.
They said the universe was all formed and expanding ever since then.
New galaxies are being created all the time.
We can see, folks, galaxies in all stages of formation, formed to the point where there are suns. In our, folks, today, we can see approximately ten billion galaxies. And these ten billion galaxies, billion stars,
[30:00] Cosmic scale, density, and human development
it just happened to happen on divine guidance,
and that we were unique. But all of this, these ten billion galaxies composed of one hundred billion stars apiece, were all created just for our own amusement. That's about ten cases of planets in a single galaxy.
A galaxy, one out of ten billion, assumed that the development will take place on,
and we talked at considerable length afterwards,
and statistically there must be. Would there be anything resembling man on this earth? Why do you think that? And he said, well, man is the product of his environment. Consequently, an environment even slightly different would produce an entirely different product. We had gone outside of the building, and we were walking down the street, and as he was saying this, I looked down, and I saw a very tiny red ant crawl up. I said, does that ant look like me? I said, you should. We are products of an identical environment. It should be identical.
He said, it's true, we have tens of thousands of different kinds of life.
I said, by your own, the same results should occur.
The same ultimate product we have.
The temperature never gets above freezing. The very hearty races can't exist at all.
The same thing will be true if you say that
the earth is as it is. I said, I think you will have to widen your philosophy just a little bit. Because I think that man is as he is because God is as he is. And if God is as he is,
which breaks up into millions of individual stars just as a cloud of steam breaks up into tiny water droplets or condenses into tiny water droplets as it comes out of a steam pipe, we have the same thing on a macroscopic scale because there's a rotation started by the condensation.
This intelligence today, some of the things
that we have been seeing,
before as many written history of this earth can be traced,
there have been written histories
to the point where the knowledge could be accepted.
The general public, to learn the true shape of the planet upon which they had lived for centuries, would require all that some men had known all the time.
We have a, for the existence of some,
we have achieved the absurd data.
You have to chop off a little bit of the absurd data here and a little bit here and a little bit here. And then you have to bend the corner in here and a little bit in here. And then you have to hammer them into this pad. And they still don't fit very well. Millions of people will give explanations because it prevents one explanation which does explain all of the absurd data. As the history goes, you can find descriptions
given by people who see them today which might be considered something else. But there are 18 eyewitness descriptions that are better than the good writings are.
That description is taken, that little segment of the Bible is taken. You will find that two complete chapters are devoted to the description of that craft. Charles and Lathrop Warnock completed 26 years of the translation.
Get a little bit of the term face of.
This had the appearance or nature of a lion
because it had great strength and agility. It had the characteristics of an eagle because it could soar through the heavens. It had the characteristics of a man because it was intelligently born
and it had the characteristics of a diamond.
In 1775, some known physicists
governed ourselves. We were endowed by our creators in such a manner as to consult at all times their own. Let us hope that their statesmen are faithful.
He pointed out that we need to darken ourselves
in the eyes of the superior. He wasn't making a physics.
He coined the term
[01:10:00] Historical implications and scientific development
which they reached. It will have some significance somewhere on the line. So let's take one of the developed
So we begin to strive for these things. He could create a significant thousand people.
But these are all To stop.
A ten minute intermission.
[01:40:00] Written questions, audience discussion, and closing remarks
Write a question. Will you raise your hand? We'll have a surprise. Answer your question. Conclusion of our meeting. A sensational crime. We're assigned a job investigating. Yet no full level of advancement.
In a couple of hours,
you're going to see a telegram. At least three people will call up and demand ransom. To collect the money, you should decide which one of the clients should be paid the money. Usually one person will call up. The eastern person will call up and say, well, I did have a child with a crime. I'm going to call up and say, well, I did have a child with a crime. I'm going to call up and say, well, I did have a child with an accident. All of which turns out to be true. The detectives know the dating process for decades
on long-term social work. They know this in advance. They don't go out and run down the street trying to have nothing to do with it and say, oh, that bruise never was a child that didn't have it. Because if they did,
they wouldn't solve very many crimes. They know that they have to wait through a small amount of patients to examine. So every person who is mentally affected
has a tendency to attack themselves. It seems much more than they probably would under certain circumstances. Well, it would, but not too much at that energy level. That's still an exceedingly low energy level. That's 8,000. That's usually three to 8,000 miles an hour. Our own satellites make 18. Everyone has to make 18. Now, two and a half times that much is to stay up on these space probes from 27 to 29. That's 6,000 miles an hour. So this is the complete opposite of HP. But probably some of the local people here,
if it is printed in the paper, they'll be able to tell that it was
a child with an accident. It comes over the radio or if some person was making the sightings of self-hackers and the average person who sees one is very hesitant to talk into a body at all over the campus. This is
ice cream, isn't it? It's ice cream. Well, strangely enough, it doesn't seem that it's been
about four or five years since I stopped in Palmdale.
Ground is like that.
There's an outpatient in W.E. Moore that I divided up before. And Moore died. But the compensation
of experience when we step from one to the other is take place.
And that business
have you studied?
