In our last issue we discussed, very briefly, three of the basic principles upon which any form of human society must be founded if it is to fill the human needs and desires which bring it into existence. Let us now consider a few of our present forms of society to deter-mine how well they fill the requirements which we have enumerated.

The ideology that underlies a given social format is usually designated by the suffix 'ism.' We have observed the birth, the growth, and the gradual or the sudden decay of many of these isms. Some of them, such as Nazism and Fascism have brought terrible tragedy and destruction to whole nations and races of people before the ism itself perished. Others such as Socialism, Communism, Capitalism etc., are still with us, each claiming itself to be superior to all the rest, yet all lacking in some of the fundamentals of an ideal society.

One of the greatest social controversies in the world today is that which exists between the proponents of the system known as Communism, and the advocates of the system known as Capitalism. There is a basic ideological difference between the two, in the proportion of rights and privileges allocated to the individual as opposed to those of the society or group, usually referred to as the 'State'. The theory of Communism, (not to be confused with the way it is actually practiced), is that the real wealth of the area, including the land, the natural resources, the machines and tools of industrial production

etc., are inherently the property of the state, and cannot be owned by any individual. It also maintains that the individual is only a relatively insignificant unit of the state and, since it is the state that is important, the individual has no basic rights except those which are assigned to him by the state. All goods and services are supposed to be shared equally by all, regardless of the quantity actually produced by each. No state and no government has ever actually followed these principles, but even in theory they violate most of the requirements of a viable and justifiable society. In the first place, the individual has no voice in determining the number or the nature of the individual rights which must be surrendered to the state. In actual fact, the individual is not considered to have any rights which could conceivably conflict with those of the state. The result is an absolute dictatorship by those who come into power by proclaiming themselves to be the 'state'.

No incentive is offered for superior performance and, since all advancement must come first from the minds and the actions of individuals, a system without incentive to excel will inevitably lag behind any system which does have such incentives. The Soviet Union has, at last officially admitted this obvious fact and is now creating incentive programs for its people. (Incentive systems which reward the individual in proportion to his skill or production are, of course, a radical departure from the Soviet Socialist doctrine, but the leaders now realize that only with incentives to excellence can their society keep up with others.)

The Soviet Socialistic system does seem to have improved some-what, the standard of living of its people, but whether it is enough to compensate for the total loss of individual freedom is a moot point today. On this question, the fact that the Soviet authorities must still employ concrete walls, barbed wire and armed guards to prevent its citizens from leaving the country and its vaunted society, seems to speak for itself.

Capitalism

When we compare Communism with the system known as Capitalism, some readers may object that Capitalism should be described as an economic system rather than a social pattern. The objection may be well taken, but the fact remains that the effects of any economic system do permeate and, to a large extent, mould the characteristics of any social format, including the functioning of its government. (It has, in the past, usually been assumed that the United States operated under a form of Democracy in which the government controlled the economy. During the past few years, however, it has been amply

demonstrated that we actually live under a system of Capitalism in which the economy controls the government.)

Many social patterns have been formulated which appear to be almost perfect concepts when applied to a small group of persons and administered by a single wise and dedicated individual, but when the attempt is made to apply these patterns to very large numbers of people it is obvious that the administration of the plan must also be delegated to many individuals. The statistics of human imperfection become apparent in the resulting format and prevent the achievement of any ideal form of society.

The dictionary defines Capitalism as: (1) A system under which the means of production, distribution, and exchange are, in large measure privately owned and directed. (2) The concentration of capital in the hands of a few, or the resulting power or influence. (3) A system favoring such concentration of wealth. Under this definition, it is difficult to see any real or basic difference between Capitalism and Communism as it is practiced today since in either case the means of production, distribution and exchange, together with the resulting power and influence are controlled by a relatively small group of individuals which acquires its power either by accumulating money or simply by declaring itself to be the State! In Communism, of course, the fiction is always maintained that those who have the power and influence are not using it for their own ad-vantage but for the welfare of the rank and file whom they claim to represent. Of course the same fiction is also maintained in Capital-ism, but while it is not so greatly stressed, it appears to be more nearly true, since under Capitalism, the welfare of the Capitalist is more nearly tied to the welfare of the group than is the case in the absolute dictatorship that calls itself Communism. (What is good for General Motors is good for America!)

YOUR INDEPENDENCE

The history of the United States is an account of an on-going struggle for freedom and independence. In terms of political, religious, economic, and social freedom, we have come a long way since 1776.

In 1976, we will commemorate the 200th anniversary of political "Independence." But the greater fact is that we have yet to gain our spiritual independence-the kind of freedom that really makes for a life of health, happiness, and harmony. We are still in bondage to many material and harmful beliefs.

With blood, sweat, tears, and taxes, we won the freedom to worship as we wish. But many have used that freedom to subscribe to limiting or restricting doctrines, dogmas, and decrees. Where, for ex-ample, is the freedom in the belief that man is nothing more than a mere "miserable sinner."

Freedom to worship what? Black cats, broken mirrors, rabbits' feet, lucky numbers? The irony is that many have used religious freedom to shackle themselves more securely than despots and dictators, past or present, could ever dream of doing.

In our practice of religious freedom, many of us have tied our-selves up into all sorts of superstitious, self-defeating, and self-effacing knots. To make those knots more palatable or saleable to the masses we call them religion or theology. The fact is they are nothing more than high-sounding names for tired, outworn, and unfounded pagan beliefs.

We won the right to the pursuit of happiness. But what have so many done with that freedom? They have used it to become enslaved to alcohol, narcotics, or tobacco. They have used it to chain them-selves to their baser instincts.

In pursuit of happiness we have also followed devious and some-times even deadly paths. We have placed ourselves under the hypnotic spell of trite television, lewd literature, and mediocre movies. We have crucified our creativity on the cross of crassness.

We fought for liberty, only to pervert and distort it after we won the battle. Much of our liberty today is spent on depriving others the same right. In many areas there is little, if any, equality in housing, employment, education, public office holding, or voting.

We have used our liberty to indulge in pride and prejudice, in bias, bickering and bigotry, in hates and hurts. We have used our liberty to indulge in sensual pleasure, envy, resentment, rage, pettiness, selfishness, self-pity, pornography, and the full gamut of destructive emotions and vices.

In a literal sense, our rights, freedoms, and liberties are of the "paper" variety. They are embodied in such papers as Acts of Amnesty, the Bill of Rights, the Constitution, the Proclamation of Emancipation, and the Declaration of Independence. They cost plenty in terms of men and money.

However, no parchment, whether it be presidential proclamation, papal edict, or parliamentary law can make man really free. No piece of paper, no matter what the price in blood, sweat and tears can free any of us from fear, worry, anxiety, despondency, bias, or envy.

Only "the truth" can make us free. The truth that we are made in

the image and likeness of God. The truth that we are one with God-and one with all mankind. Yes, we are one with every stick and stone.

The truth is in the fact that we are now the sons of God. Not until we know and live according to our Divine posture and heritage are we really ever free.

If we think that one more war, one more political party, one more religious sect, another amendment to the Constitution, or impeachment of someone in high office will give us greater freedom, we are sadly mistaken. If we think that getting the political "ins" out and the "outs" in will help, we are again barking up the wrong tree.

No manifestos, meetings, or marches-no matter how militant-can free us from feelings of lack, loss, or limitation. If we want to be free of all sin, sickness, superstition, and suffering, then we must be still and know the God, or the God-nature, who indwells us. Once we are aware that our real power is of God, whose Wisdom and Love guide, govern and guard us in ways that neither harm nor hinder, we can really be free.

Neither politicians, presidents, potentates, princes, priests, nor preachers can grant us our spiritual or personal independence. It is already part and parcel of our very being. All we need do is realize that fact.

Our "freedom" holidays are indeed a glorious part of our heritage and history. These holidays and the forthcoming Bicentennial celebration in 1976 remind us, too, of the great cost of political and social freedoms.

But let us remember that each "freedom" holiday has a deeper meaning-a vital message of spiritual significance.

I CARE

Dear Alcoholic,

You are my friend, or I shouldn't be writing to you. I shouldn't care what happens to you. I could sit on a bar stool and laugh behind your back. But you are my friend and I do care, and I can't laugh when it's all I can do to keep from crying.

I remember when we were just teenagers and you took my sister to a movie. You were physically unable to walk her to the door when you returned. She never went out with you again.

Then a few years later, I attended your wedding, and the honey-moon had to start a day late because you were unconscious before the bride had tossed her bouquet.

The night your first child was born, you were drunk and disorderly and spent the night in jail. Luckily you only received a ticket for disturbing the peace, and were released again in the morning.

These are only a drop in the beer barrel compared to some later events in your life. Every important occasion, to say nothing of the precious moments of an ordinary day, have been distorted by your view through the bottom of a glass.

Do you remember (no, of course you don't) when you and I had a head-on collision. You didn't receive a ticket because the police knew that we were friends and chose to over-look the obvious reason for the accident.

There was the time when your wife tried to kill herself because she didn't know where to turn anymore. You did stop drinking then, but only for a short time.

It seems that your whole life has been discolored, diluted and disorganized by your inability to stop drinking. You have three children now; each child conceived not in love but in a drunken lust, with each subsequent birth to be recorded by a week of unremembered celebration.

Your insurance companies keep dropping you and your autos all eventually make it to a junk yard. Yet by some miracle you have never been charged with drunken driving and someone up there watches out for the other driver as you are totally unable to do so.

You told me of a hunting dog that you once had, which would refuse to hunt with anyone with alcohol on his breath. You, being the sportsman that you are, should have recognized the wisdom of this hound's decision. Do you remember (I keep forgetting that you don't) the time that you fell into shallow water and almost drowned because you were unable to stand up? Or the time that you forgot where you had left your kids? These are things I can't forget.

Then came the time that your liver finally decided to fight the battle of the bottle, and you were taken to the hospital. You did quit drinking then. The doctor said for six months; so you marked it, on the calendar and when the time was up, you got drunk for three whole days.

You always get to the dance but someone else takes you home. You make the baby but someone else sees it born. You laugh when you drink and someone else wants to cry.

You're a man of high ideals and I respect you for that. I've hunted with you and know that you would never violate the rules. I've seen your talents as you strove to finish a gun cabinet, as you practiced

taxidermy, as you shot an arrow. You've received a golden arrow-head for your skill in archery, a badge and personal letter from Queen Elizabeth for your success in taking a moose, and an award for your practice of conservation.

Yet all these talents are drowning in the wetlands of your mind. You're my friend and I love you, as only a friend can love a friend. But you'll never know it because you'll be too drunk to read this letter.

I want to shout at you and shake you and pound on your chest. I want to call you names, and tell you that you're an obnoxious alcoholic.

But all I can manage to say is, "You're my friend and I care. "

UNDERSTANDING

Recently, Rev. Cora Prantner, chaplain for Buffalo Unit #37, spoke to the Unit on "Understanding." Rev. Prantner told how much the organization had changed her life by its purposes: To promote a better understanding among all peoples of earth, and of those not of earth. Because Understanding "Examines All Things," a study of reincarnation brought new concepts to Rev. Prantner with the result that she has been teaching classes on "Light" in her home. The present lessons are on the "Teachings of the Great White Brotherhood."

As an inspirational message, Mrs. Prantner quoted the following: Go placidly amid the noise and haste and remember what peace there may be in silence. As far as possible, without surrender, be on good terms with all persons. Speak truth quietly and clearly, and listen to others, even the dull and ignorant, they too have their story. Avoid loud and aggressive persons, they are vexation to the spirit, for al-ways there will be greater and lesser persons than your self. Enjoy your achievements as well as your plans. Keep interested in your own career, however humble, it is a real possession in the changing for-tunes of time. Exercise caution in your business affairs, for the world is full of trickery, but let this not blind you to what virtue there is. Many persons strive for high ideals, and everywhere life is full of heroism. Be yourself. Especially, do not feign affection. Neither be cynical about love; for in the face of all aridity and disenchantment it is perennial as the grass. Take kindly the counsel of the years, gracefully surrendering the things of youth. Nurture strength of spirit to shield you in sudden misfortune. But do not distress yourself with imaginings. Many fears are born of fatigue and loneliness. Beyond a

wholesome discipline, be gentle with yourself. You are the child of the universe, no less than the trees and the stars; you have a right to, be here. And, whether or not it is clear to you, no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should. Therefore, be at peace with God, whatever you conceive Him to be. And, whatever your labors and aspirations, in the noisy confusion of life, keep peace with your soul. With all its sham, drudgery and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. Be careful, strive to be happy.

Realities and Proofs

(The January 1975 LOGOS FOCUS of the Axminster Light Centre, Devon, England, offers this delightful dissertation on Reality and Proof.)

Millions of people, regardless of race, creed, or social status, have seen, or have had experiences of one kind or another, which have convinced them that UFOs are cruising through our (!) skies. Millions more have seen ample evidence in books and magazines, etc. indicating that they can be visible, invisible or partially visible and are aware that their propulsion, maneuverability and speeds upset even the most advanced theories and laws of our greatest scientists.

The fact that they are not of this Earth can no longer be denied. But, until the theories catch up with the facts, most people only believe. As a belief it is acceptable, but as a reality . . . "well . . . "

As for telepathic communications with selected individuals and groups throughout all the nations of Earth . . . "Oh no! there is no proof."

Are, for example, Presidents and Popes a reality? Do they communicate with individuals, groups and nations? Can they be photo-graphed? Can they travel around the Earth? Can they initiate a policy, or a program?. . . Of course they can. Such evidence generally suffices for those who have never 'contacted' either.'

Yet the Space Ships and their crews have provided far more evidence of their reality than any Pope or President! And by using methods of communication and transport not yet available to such "world leaders."

We, at this Centre, have never seen nor conversed with any Pope nor President. (Since we know of them but they do not know of us, this could suggest, to them, that they exist but we do not.) But, we

do believe they exist, despite the fact that photographs and films in the accepted news-media could all be faked-'just as all photographs of Flying Saucers could be faked'!

However, in the case of UFOs we have not only seen them on photographs (genuine and otherwise) but individually, and in pairs, we have watched them, with our physical eyes, travel at supersonic speeds, maneuver, make right-angled turns, and also disappear; and your Editor, in bomber raids over Europe, was 'tailed' three times by 'Foo-Fighters', as they were then termed.

Furthermore, regular telepathic communication has been maintained at this Centre, and elsewhere, for nearly a decade.

However, we have no evidence that any Pope or President can be-come invisible . . . or appear and disappear on a radar screen ... or exchange telepathic communications with this or any other Centre as do the UFOs. Nor have they publicly announced the reality of UFOs nor deemed it necessary to inform humanity of the accumulated evidence, or even the reasons for such visitations. Whereas, the extra-terrestrial Space Brothers DO accept Popes and Presidents! ... (as confirmed through various light centres).

Group-wise we have far more direct evidence-and proof!-of our Space-friends, working within the Spiritual Hierarchical Government, than we have of Popes and Presidents. What is more-and of far greater significance-is that the statements, teachings and truths proffered are proven to be far more logical, reasonable and inspirational than any uttered by 'infallible' Popes or 'fallible' Presidents . . . . . . 'nuff said . . . . .

'Thing' Had Legs On It

(The Vancouver Sun, March 21, 1975)

HAMILTON (CP)- Staff in The Spectator's photography department reported Thursday that a saucer-shaped object photographed Tuesday by a 19-year-old amateur astronomer has protrusions from its body that resemble legs or antennae.

Pat McCarthy, had gone to a disused quarry to photograph birds and was walking back "when I suddenly saw this massive object in the sky."

"I'd been focusing on a branch when I saw this thing like a frisbee zigzagging around above me," he said in an interview. "I just started snapping away as soon as I could."

Pat immediately called The Spectator and was told not to take the film out of the camera. The film then was processed in the news-paper's darkroom by staff.

Each of the four pictures was magnified about 150 times and two thin protrusions were discovered emanating from the object. Scientists, aeronautics experts, experts on unidentified flying objects, military personnel and astronomers who were interviewed said they were baffled about what the object was.

The photographs will be studied by the United States Centre for Unidentified Flying Objects at Dearborn University, Evanston, Mich. On Wednesday, a group of physicists at McMaster University studied a blow-up of one of the photographs and looked at the pictures through a microscope.

One of the scientists said later that "all we can say with absolute certainty is that it is an unidentified flying object. Beyond that, it's all hypothesis."

Eskimos Report UFO

(From Tundra Times, August 30, 1972)

After several years of quiet in Alaskan skies, flying saucers are back. Unidentified flying objects sighted south of Norton Sound last week are the subject of investigation.

Around midnight August 16th, an Eskimo Scout, Sgt. John Cheemuk, and his wife in St. Michael saw what they described as a large elongated object in the shape of a football flying through the sky slower than an airplane. The object had a cockpit on top, a large window and red lights at front and rear, they said.

Mrs. Cheemuk watched the object land and after about five minutes it took off. She was afraid to go near the spot.

The next day at Stebbins, a village about ten miles northwest of St. Michael on Norton Sound, about twenty of the residents including Eskimo Scout Sgt. Pius Mike, saw a flying object they couldn't identify.

Sgt. Mike filed a sighting report to the Guards First Scout Head-quarters in Nome and as soon as the weather cleared, Capt. Tom Williams, an army advisor to the Scouts, flew to St. Michael. He re-ported that he saw a depression in the ground which Cheemuk said was made by the saucer. He described the spot as three feet in diameter, two inches deep and full of water as it had been raining.

Burned grass was at the bottom of the hole and Williams took photographs and samples of the soil, grass and water. Cheemuk made a sketch of the UFO.

The last time mysterious sightings were made in Alaska was in 1967 when a UFO with red and white flashing lights was over Barrow during a power failure and several Anchorage residents also reported seeing strange flying objects in the sky over the Chugach Mountains.

UFO Reported in Pendleton, Oregon

PENDLETON (UPI)-An unidentified flying object was reported seen in the Pendleton area Mon-day night. Mrs. Mary Ann Blanchet, who lives 10 miles south of here, told State Police a bright colored orange object followed her car home. A state trooper went to the ranch and confirmed seeing an orange object in the sky. He said it moved about but transmitted no noise.

Lights Over Tonopah ! !

On June 11, 1975 at 10:30 PM Dan and Florence Fry stood with guests from Phoenix and watched while a pale orange glow hung over a near-by butte. Gradually it descended and disappeared. Not a star-not a plane but what?

light appear somewhat higher in the heavens and somewhat farther west of the original sighting.

The guests decided to sleep outside and watch the sky. They were amply rewarded they reported the next morning. First an elliptica object high in the sky seemed to blink on and off at them. Then there was a great flash as though a strobe light lit the entire heavens. In an instant it was gone.

One more swift light blinked at them then disappeared almost be fore they could wink, appeared and grew wide and bright and there blinked out.

UFO Sighted in County

(Sheboygan (Wis.) Press, May 6, 1975)

A UFO sighting Tuesday night by Town of Sheboygan Falls residents was reported to the Sheboygan County Sheriff's Department shortly before 11 p.m.

Officers were sent to the scene, near County Trunk J just east o Highway 32, but reported that the object was then "too far away to be identified."

Reporting the sighting was Barbara Arpke, R. 1, Sheboygan Falls She said her mother, sister and sister's boy friend all observed the object in the sky, as it traveled northwest from the Arpke home. Miss Arpke told The Press the object was "much lower" than an airplane, but that it made no noise.

She said she used binoculars to observe the object which appeared to be "triangular and sort of a reddish-orange."

The object was visible for about an hour before it disappeared to the northwest, according to Miss Arpke. She said the object move in that direction in "sort of an up-down motion," but that at times it hovered in one place.

Radiation, Not Nicotine!

WASHINGTON (AP)-New research with hamsters tends to support a theory first proposed eleven years ago that natural radioactivity i tobacco might be a cause of lung cancer in smokers.

Scientists studying radioactivity in cigarette smoke first propose in 1964 that alpha radiation from the element polonium deposited in the lungs by cigarette smoke might be a factor in lung cancer.

Radiation in large enough doses will cause cancer. Polonium present in minute amounts in most plants, including tobacco.

The research by a Harvard University group, reported in a recent Science magazine issue, found that lung cancer could be induced in hamsters if polonium were introduced into the trachea, a part of the throat. The polonium then spread to the hamsters' lungs.

The Harvard scientists said their results tend to support the idea that polonium, or radioactive lead which converts to polonium, "may be a significant factor in the initiation of lung cancer in smokers."

The researchers noted that such radioactivity does not "contribute to a cigarette's 'flavor' and should be relatively easy to remove from cigarette smoke."

Drug to Fight Super Race of Rats

A new drug that scientists hope will stop a new super race of rats from infesting the world has been developed by a team of British researchers.

Pest control experts didn't like to admit it but their backs were against the wall. In the constant battle between man and rats, the clever rats appeared to be winning the latest round.

A strain of rats appeared that were resistant to warfarin, the most effective rat poison to date ever devised by man. The resistant rats, that could eat warfarin-soaked food with relish, first appeared in the 1960s in Scotland and North Wales. By 1971, some were found in this country.

A recent survey of 40 American cities disclosed that half of them had poison-resistant rats. Pest control officials were becoming in-creasingly worried because they had no effective substitute for warfarin.

But just in the nick of time, scientists at the Sorex laboratories in London have developed a new anticoagulant that kills the resistant rats faster than you can say "pop goes the weasel."

The new drug, called difenacoum, is similar to warfarin. The important difference is that the London scientists altered the chemical structure of the compound so that it became deadly to rats.

Furthermore, the drug poses no threat to humans since it is slow-acting and vitamin K is a 100 per cent effective antidote to the poison, the British scientists said. The drug works by blocking the uptake of vitamin K, which is an essential component of the blood-clotting mechanism.

The ideal name carries an even balance in the four areas of emotional, mental, physical and intuitive, and should bear a higher total vibration than the birthdate's Datepath. Thus the individual is instinctively reaching up, developing and growing into a higher plane of consciousness.

In the event of a name change (such as in marriage), the abbreviation of the given name or the assumption of a nickname, the additional vibration is superimposed over one's original destiny. A change of name literally changes a life's tendencies.

The system of numbers was created centuries ago by the Greek philosopher Pythagoras. Every sound that is uttered has its equivalent numerical value. Yes indeed, words and names are things! Vowels carry the inner urge, the heart's desire, while consonants carry the physical personality, representing the outer world, the visual realm.

There are four work pinnacles in each individual's life, derived from the birthdate, the sum total of which show the level of achievement that is finally acquired. The corner number of your year of birth (i.e. 1943) carries the suitable vocation vibration and indicates the type of work in which you would excel. For example, a person born in 1943_ under the three would be good with words, artistically

inclined, and possibly extroverted. Suitable career selections include the entertainment industry, acting or writing. However, much de. pends upon the all-over concept of the individual's numerology chart.

Should this person have been born on September 26th, 1943 (9!26/1943) his Datepath would equal 9 plus 26, plus 1943 equals 1978. Adding together the individual digits-1 + 9 + 7 + 8 equals 25, and 2 + 5 equals 7. Therefore this individual is under the spiritual 7 vibration and should concentrate on developing his knowledge of the higher truths to put himself in touch with the Universal Conscious-ness. Meditation brings peace, fulfillment and guidance from spirit to an otherwise sensitive and could-be eccentric force.

Each number between one and nine carries its own significant character. In totaling cancel all numbers down under ten except the three Master numbers-11, 13 and 22. These three have a special significance.

An excess of a number in your name and Datepath patterns may cause an incessant drumming of whatever it signifies and thus create tiredness and unhappiness, whereas a lack of a number, a void in experience, causes frustration and fear.

Knowledge of your numerology can explain your past, clarify your present, and envision your future, bring out your talents, and allow you to compensate for your lacks.

Who knows? You may even give yourself a new, spiritually balanced name, as Jesus did his disciples when they went out into the world to share the abundance of God's love.

PYRAMID POWER

(Pyramid experimentation is being done at the Understanding Life Center, Tonopah, Arizona. Since our readers might enjoy experimenting on their own, we offer this article by Jim Locke, which appeared in the TELESCOPE.)

My interest in pyramids started when listening to a local radio show, Dr. Pat Flannagan spoke about pyramid power. Dr. Flannagan suggested building a cardboard replica of the Cheop's Pyramids for conducting home experiments on the effects of pyramid energy on different substances.

The concentration of energy in the pyramid is able to:

• deeper, more fulfilling meditations and higher energy levels.

The pyramid replica must be aligned with a flat side facing magnetic north for the accumulation of pyramid energy. To check for proper alignment, place the palm of your hand approximately above the apex, a warm rushing energy should be felt.

The items placed inside the pyramid should be at the King's Chamber level, which is the point of maximum energy concentration inside the pyramid. It is located in the center one-third of the distance up from the base.

Dear Editor:

I should like to use your column to express my opinion on a topic of growing interest: Wytchcraft. I am deeply upset with the attitude held by so many people on this religion. Wytchcraft, the WICCAN religion, is a way of life. A very natural way indeed.

What peeves me no end is the common belief that Wytchcraft is a religion based upon worship of Satan, involving every kind of harmful evil worship.

I should like to get across the idea that Satanism and Black Magic are forms of worship entirely differentiated from the Wiccan religion. A Wyccan would not do anything to harm his fellow man, because he knows that any evil work will return threefold upon himself.

Wycca is a religion based on nature and the natural balance in the universe. A Wyccan strives to help himself and others, not harm them!
